Use this everytime I go camping. It’s my “living room light” when I’m away. The adjustable brightness is really good too.
Nice and bright. Variable brightness is useful. Supplied batteries were good for a week long camping holiday- haven’t run out yet. Construction seems solid. Excellent product at the price point.
Have a couple of these. I prefer the lithium rechargable ones but I do have some that take AA. Brightness is fine to see what you are doing and battery life is fair. Always a trade off battery life vs brightness. This is the third of these I’ve bought and using again in a greenhouse with NiMH. Switch on the others still good after a year or so.
Cracking bit of kit for the price. Only slight grumble would be the hanger on the base would be better as a clip, but other than that, great diffused light, perfect for the tent.

About as bright as a 40W incandescent bulb but no heat given off. Plastic construction so no worries of broken glass. Runs on 3 x AA batteries, so easy to get hold of them or even use rechargables.
As it is magnetic mine will ‘live’ on the fridge when not in use elsewhere, in case of a power-cut.

It came well packaged in a compact little box with bubble wrap and three plastic-sealed AA batteries. A quick test revealed that it works great. It’s just bright enough to light up a small room, but not quite as bright as a desk lamp, certainly not as bright as a standard lightbulb or fitting. Good enough for an emergency though, safer (and more compact) than candles.
There’s a fold-out loop on the top that can be used to hang it from a hook or a string, and a magnet embedded that lets you snap it to almost anything metal. I was surprised just how useful that is, I must have spent a good 10 minutes just attaching it to stuff around the room, to see how it lights up the space at different angles. It’s also flat on the top, so you can simply just set the unit down on any flat (ideally high) surface and it will throw the light upwards, bouncing it off the ceiling, lighting up the space. Very very versatile.
It’s light too, and compact.
I took the batteries out, popped it back into it’s handy little box, and tucked it away.
I can’t comment on the longevity or reliability of this, clearly, but from what I’ve seen of it so far I think it’s great. Build quality seems ok (it’s not super sturdy, but not flimsy either), and seems well priced at nine quid – delivered, with batteries.

Great emergency light, it can be hung up or the handle on top can be used as a stand. It gives good light and can last a while before needing to be recharged which is pretty quick. I’ve bought 4 of these to add to my end of the world scenario kit.
Very versatile battery operated light, about the size of your palm, stand it, hang it or attach to a metal surface with it’s inbuilt magnet, 3 settings, bright, dim or strobe, great value for the money. Juries out on the battery life and durability, (not used for any length of time) recommended.

Schne einfache Lampe, die mit 3 AA Zellen ganz nett Licht macht. Es ist nicht so hell, dass man damit arbeiten kann, dafr gibt es bessere Leuchten. Aber um ein bisschen Orientierung zu haben, echt gut.
In der dunkleren Stufe auch als Nachtlicht ganz nett.

Great little lamp to hang up in the tent. Would have preferred the dimmer setting to be a lot dimmer to be used as a night light . and i cant see the point of the flashing mode.

Wer etwas geschickt ist, kann die Bgel aber aushaken und so die Lampe an einer Schlaufe befestigen.
Was looking for a lantern that I could hang that cast a downward beam for playing card games in the dark while camping, etc., and came across this. I was skeptical about how bright it would be and if we’d be able to see the cards or crib board adequately. I can assure you, we will most certainly be able to see! I was very pleasantly surprised by the light output. I will likely purchase another one or two to keep on hand for power outages. Note: this picture is taken in a totally dark bathroom and the lamp is on the ‘bright’ setting. Even with the ‘dim’ setting, we can still easily see the cards.
The only thing I would change is for it to have an S hook or similar to make hanging easier, but it’s not the end of my world, I’ll bend a hook out of a piece of wire. The power button could be just a bit bigger to make finding it in the dark just a little easier. This is why I give it a 4/5 but if I could, I would rate 4.5/5.

Es kommt kaltes Licht, was problemlos einen 20 qm Raum so beleuchtet das man alles sieht!
Natrlich kein 500 Watt Spotlight, aber genug um alles recht vernnftig auszuleuchten.
Ich habe es mit VARTA Batterien AA, Power on Demand, bei hellster Einstellung ca. 24 Stunden betrieben.
Danach wurde es immer schwcher.
Das finde ich eine enorm lange Zeit, also Stromfressend ist die Lampe definitiv nicht.
Der Magnet ist ausreichend um es (wie ich) am Khlschrank… zu befestigen.
Nur auf Wasserdichtheit habe ich sie nicht getestet und kann daher nichts darber sagen.
Da wir in extremen Zeiten leben, habe ich mir davon noch eine 2te geholt.
Mein 16 Monate alter Enkel entdeckte die Leuchte und hatte auch bald raus, wie er den Schaltknopf drcken msste. Er hatte viel Spa damit, dabei fiel sie auch mal runter. Die Leuchte berstand alles ohne Schaden. So bestand sie den Hrtetest!
Drauen habe ich die Lampen noch nicht getestet. Sie sind klein, dabei aber sehr hell. Guter Preis
I’ll be honest, i wasn’t expecting much and, Amazon missed the first delivery day and only delivered 1 hour before we set off to the airport, so it was a close call.
It was great! Chucks out way more light than you’d expect, and it’s not a blinding light because the light cover is opaque.
I’m really pleased with it, i would recommend it.

Die Lampe leuchtet hell genug, um sich im Zelt im Dunkeln zurechtzufinden. Dank des Haken kann man sie ganz leicht aufhngen. Das Licht ist zwar etwas grell, dafr gibt es aber zwei unterschiedliche Helligkeitsgrade. Bei meinem letzten Festival war die kleine Lampe eine sehr groe Hilfe.

Die Lampe macht einen stabilen Eindruck, ist sehr Leicht und handlich sowie ausreichend hell. Ich habe sie beim Nachtangeln verwendet und war sehr zufrieden. Top Preisleistungsverhltnis.

Lo que se podria mejorar es que vaya a pilas. Con una carraca sera ya increible.

die Lampe ist wirklich sehr klein – leuchtet aber sehr hell. Sie funktioniert mit 3 Handelsblichen Batterien die im Lieferufang sogar enthalten. sind. Die Leuchtdauer habe ich noch nicht getestet ist jedoch bei voller Stufe mit 5 Stunden angefhrt .. evtl. hlt sie in der schwcheren lnger. Ich denke mal es kommt druaf an wofr man sie braucht. Ich benutze sie fr als Botfall fr Stormausfall oder im Keller der schlecht beleuchtet ist und mit der Taschnelampe beim umrumen nicht ausgeleuchtet werden kann und man auch keine Hand frei hat. Fr einen Ruam ist das Licht ausreichend. Beim Stormausfall in der Kche hat das super funktioniert .

Gives a lot of light for a small lantern. I chose this as usually they have plastic on the bottom which blocks light below. Great for camping.
It’s not bad as in the fact it comes with batteries. Attaches to anything metal fine which is what I wanted to use it for in our pet pigs ark. Great for warmer months but come winter and colder nights can’t see the batteries lasting as long at all. A small light which hardly takes up any room but gives about enough light out for my needs. Price wise ok as it does come with the batteries required to be able to use it.
Seems to be one of those that don’t come with an additional way of charging it like most do nowadays then again cheaper so you can’t have it always can you?

As is often the case, I thought this would be bigger. It’s bright enough and light enough that is quite versatile and would be useful in several applications. It even comes with the 3 batteries needed, which was a nice surprise. Decent little light and reasonably priced too.

Loved how bright this lamp is – lighting our tent perfectly. Brilliant value for money. Would have liked the dim to be, well, dimmer, but doesn’t detract from its usefulness while camping.
I was looking for a small lightweight and compact LED camping light for my kids in scouts to replace their old camping lights and my wife came across this one. She liked the compact size but what amazed me was how BRIGHT it was! My kids loved it so much that I ended having to buy a second one just so that they don’t fight for it when they go camping with the scouts.
It has three lighting modes (high, low, and flashing), uses 3 AA sized batteries (the manufacturer provided alkaline batteries in the box, but I replaced them with Eneloops when my kids uses them). The foldable hook and magnetic back design is very useful and versatile.
Did I say how bright it was, from such a small compact unit? It has 5 LEDs and a 360-degree beam angle, which is perfect for use in the tent when camping, etc.
Will update the review if needed after my kids have put it through their camping rigors but I’m confident this will last. 🙂
Took this little beauty night fishing, don’t be put off by its size as the brightness is mighty.
With one push button function and 3 settings and a magnetic base it’s very versatile.
This is so tiny I now carry it with me at all times as it’s perfect for if street lighting isn’t working or even there at all.
I must admit that I ordered this camping lantern without reading the product description, as I already have one which is very similar – instead of getting a solar powered version, I got this one which takes 3 x AA batteries which are included.
You have 3 lighting options, there is a bright level, one which is dimmer and then one which flashes – I’m not sure when I’ll need the flashing mode, but it’s there if I ever do need to attract attention.
The shape of the lantern means that you don’t need to mess about getting it to stand up in a tent or on rough ground – the light part makes up the whole of the top of the unit so you can illuminate through 360 degrees.
This camping lantern is well made and it is fairly robust, I was a little disappointed that it was battery powered but I’m going to use rechargeable’s. At the time of my review this would cost you 3.99 which is great value for moneyand you get batteries.
This Camping LED Outdoor Light is very small yet really bright. It has 3 settings – low, high and flashing.
Although nowadays most of lights are USB chargeable, this light is battery operated which is useful in an emergency when there’s no power to charge.
It is magnetic so it can be stuck on any metal, and it is IPX4 waterproof (which means water resistant but it cannot be submerged in water).
The quality wise it is made of good quality plastic, it doesn’t feel cheap at all. At the time of the review it’s just under 4 which is a really good value.

This is a neat little camping light. It’s easy to set up, and requires 3aa batteries. The top unscrew for you to fit them, then just screw the top on and it’s ready to go. It is a small size, and the handle allows it to be hung up, and the light is good. It’s just the thing for camping trips or even in a caravan or boat. The item is also a reasonable price.
This is a small battery-operated lamp that is ideal for use when out and about. Perfect for camping, fishing, or as a standby lamp if there is a power cut.
You will need to provide your own batteries, I have used rechargeable ones as I have plenty of them. The lamp is quite small but if used in a small tent would provide enough light to read by. It is also very handy to have in the tackle box if you go fishing as it won’t take up too much space.

Priced at 6.99 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, which seems very reasonable, this very small and relatively lightweight portable light is ideal for the purpose I got it for.
It arrives in a compact cardboard box, the portable light inside is wrapped in bubble wrap. There is also a small user guide in the box but I did not bother to read this as it was obvious that you needed to unscrew the top of the light to install the three AA batteries (supplied) and once done, screw back on the top; the top also has a handle (to hang up in a tent or use to carry) that stays flush with the op when not in use.
To switch on the portable light you need only press the black button on the front or side of the light (depending on your point-of-view). One press and it is a very bright light, press again and the light dims slightly but is still bright and the third press makes it flash as an emergency beacon.
The overall build quality looks and feels good; it is sturdy plastic. I am pleased with this product and am happy to recommend at the current price point of 6.99. I think this portable light could be utilised for a variety of purposes and not just camping.
This portable camping lantern is small, well designed and gives out a nice diffused LED light. The lantern is small and has a diffused white dome and a fold out hanger to hang onto a hook or tent hook. The lantern unscrews and takes 3 pcs of AA sized batteries (supplied). Once these batteries run out, I have my own AA rechargeable batteries to use and save from buyjng expensive AA sized batteries. lantern is bright and can go dimmer a step or flashing white light feature. The brightness is very good and you can easily light up a small tent.
I sometimes stay in the car at night and this lantern helps and saves me from using the cars battery on over night car camping sessions.
The light is small and easy to carry round and handy for many situations.

This camp light is small but this can be the good feature as well as to save space for other useful things in our camping bag.
The lit power is pretty good, starts from bright light, then dimmed light and flashing one. All operated by one button.
3xAA batteries are provided so we can use this light right away. I suggest supply ourselves with few packs of batteries as spare because who knows how quickly we will need to replace them..

This is a pretty basic but ok portable multi purpose light. It’s been constructed predominantly using plastics which feel quite sturdy and robust. It takes 3x AA batteries to operate, which are supplied either the unit. Once installed there is just one button located on the side of the light which cycles through different modes. There is a full power lighting option which activates with the first press, then a lower power and less intense lighting mode. A further press activates the obligatory strobe function. My only real complaint with the unit is with the hanging and magnetic mounting elements. The hanging arm simply folds out from the rear but you can only thread it over something as opposed to a hook design which would allow you to truly hang it as it’s fused both ends to the main body. That’s frustrating and decreases its versatility a little. Likewise there is a small circular magnetic disc located on the back of the light. It’s ok but but not overly strong or large. To be fair it will hold itself on most objects but I would have personally preferred a stronger magnet.
Overall the light is decent for the price and is certainly powerful and bright enough to really light up most spaces more than adequately. I am removing one star from my review purely for the inconvenient and function limiting hanging mechanism.
It has very few bells and whistles: just two brightnesses and an emergency beacon. But what more does it need?
It takes three AA batteries, which are non-rechargeable, and the specs say that those batteries will maintain the brightest mode for 17 continuous hours, which I believe, since the lights are LEDs.
It’s lightweight, robust, neat, easily portable, simple to operate and costs less than a tenner. What’s not to like?
I live in part of the country where power cuts are common, especially in winter, and am always on the lookout for emergency lighting. This is going straight in the cupboard with the tinned food and the camping gas stove. Highly recommended.
Bulkar camping lantern light is very small so i thought it would not be very good but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was , it has 3 modes & is water resistant, this lantern is very well made I would definitely buy more
Such a teeny weeny superbright camping lantern which I was shocked when I saw how small it was approx 7.5cm in diameter and 5cm in height. Needs 3x AA batteries which are included in the box and it has a fold down integral handle. Extremely easy to use and works regardless of what angle you place it at and according to the instructions can be left out in inclement weather.
It’s good to have this mini camp light along with bunch of AA batteries. Three batteries came already with the light so that’s a bonus here.

It does benefit from being high up so the light covers the area and the source is out of your direct field of view. The batteries are easy to fit and the switch button easy to locate. It has three settings full brightness, slightly dimer and flashing. A compact and reasonably robust little light okay value for what it is. I’ve added a video it contains flashing images so be careful.
