Very good cameras, easy to set up and install. Night vision works better if you have an outdoor light to leave on. Needs charged every 3 weeks but takes 3 hours to charge so can go up again quickly. Overall very good product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersPositives
Really well made, beautifully packaged and a solid device. Doesn’t stand out obviously like a camera – looks nice rather than ugly.
Has a clear picture, wide angle lens and a reasonable plan (79 for multiple cameras per year. Website seems to be able to show only 4 cameras, phone app shows all 5 of my Flex and Pro cameras). The price (with the normally offered 60 discount) is excellent and it’s often on Amazon deal of the day for even less. Very competitive.
Seems very reliable in picking up movement. Very rarely picks up non-movement (heavy rain it will record at times and high contrast movement of plants in wind but it’s pretty accurate).
I run my two Flex cameras off power but I have left it on for a couple of days and it only went down a few percent. My new one has been on for more than a day now and it’s still on 100%. High movement areas do run down the camera much quicker obviously.
Locking base (extra purchase) is really flexible for positioning. If it’s being put within easy reach or by someone standing on a bin etc. you’ll need this more secure attachment.
Good control and capture options from the app, including setting masked regions and setting up the depth of the sensor (near only, medium or far)

    Negatives:
Can’t download videos from the website, only from the phone. Odd. Website version is great, but phone doesn’t seem to show all the videos recorded at times
USB cable needs to be longer
It needs some form of cable lock loop for a more secure attachment. My street facing one I glued on a window lock cable as a visual deterrent because it’s near the front door.

I do recommend, but this market now has a lot more options than 4 years ago when I bought my first Canary camera. Still a good option though and mine all work well together.

Great. Small, compact, no wires and the battery lasts a week or maybe two before charging is needed. The bracket supplied is magnetic (it’s a strong magnet holding the camera to the bracket but not a secure bracket). The offer on the price made buying
    it well worth it.
Update: I now get an average of 30 days from the battery before it needs charging, which is reasonable.

Delivery was prompt and well packaged. The product was as advertised and doing the job. Battery doesn’t last very long though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHave the all in one cameras and decided to buy the flex for my driveway
I love these cameras and half price membership was on offer.
    Would reccomend to everyone!
I bought the wall mount separately as didn’t like the magnet one as would be easy to remove.
Tried 2 locations on cameras ground floor & first floor and cameras worked better on ground floor. I have it about 10ft high on the driveway and can actually see much better! First floor wasnt as good as if someone was on my property you could only see heads not faces!
Very very happy with camera! Have attached photo. Great HD quality!

    Great piece of kit!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI’ve seen various reviews of Canary Flex, and some complain about battery life, so I wanted to report my findings on this. I thought I had a problem with battery life, but it has been resolved, and now I’m very happy with the product (especially given the great price about 60% of MRP).

I have two Flexes, and the first one had great battery life (running for more than one month so far on one charge).

However, the second one I bought ran flat in a few days. I did a series of experiments to try and find out why, but in the end found out that the reason for this was that I had connected the device via a (NetGear) WiFi range extender with a different WiFi name.

When I connected the Flex directly to my router instead, bypassing the extender, the battery life got ten times better, even though the signal was consequently lower.

I assume that using the range extender must somehow lengthen the time the camera has to spend using its radio instead of sleeping and that is what was eating the battery up.

This is the easiest Wi-Fi camera I have ever had to set up. You do need to make sure your Bluetooth on your phone is in visible mode. If it doesn’t pair first time just try again. The set up is easy as the app does all the work for you. The beautiful thing about this camera is, you can use the phone to aim the camera to where you want to cover.

It was very easy to setup using the App. Camera has a good picture, even in low light and wide angle so can see my whole room. When using it for communication, voice is clear and loud enough. It has a build in battery, but mine is plugged in all the time. App allows you to see battery status, handy if it is outside
The design is nice, the camera is small and not very obvious. But it lights up when someone is watching live.
Subscription is a nice benefit as it allows you to use all the features that are available such as 2 way communication, which is handy if you want to keep an eye on kids or elderly relatives. Another benefit is storage, it is cloud based so don’t need to worry about deleting videos and freeing up space. But if someone just wants to have a camera that allows them to watch live, or record I would not worry about subscription.
Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the camera. It is what I have expected.

After looking at swcurity cameras for a while I saw this one and thought I’d give it a test to see how could it was. The set up is quick and easy you can eaitger have it plugged into the mains or have it run off the battery. You have to sign up to a membership to get the full effects of it which is a bit annoying. The picture quality is amazing and it will pick up when you are home and when you go out it will change settings so it sends you notifications if it detects movement. It does not come with an attachment to put it outside which is another down side. I would recommend this product because the picture quality is amazing and it is a cool bit of kit.

This bit helped too – as frankly these nothing worse than a camera pointing just sort of the wrong way.

I got myself a Canary Flex and i love it. It looks slick as hell and it’s a piece of cake to to set up. The app makes it super easy to use, the picture resolution is good, as is the sound quality from the mic. The sleep mode, away mode and watch live functions make it useful at all times of the day and you can review all activity for 24hrs without membership. Would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat design and easy to set up. Really flexible / easy to move around and small enough to be discreet. Using it indoors so can’t comment on outdoor functionality but would recommend for indoor use!
