I’ve upgraded all my tiles with airtags because they just work better, but I still had the tile cards. Not anymore. These work seamlessly with apple find my, they are louder than airtags also. Great quality, fast shipping. Very happy

This credit card sized gadget works under the same principle as the airtag. Place the Chipolo in your wallet, link it to the Find My app and you will be able to track your wallet if you lose it. If it is nearby, you can activate the in built sound to guide you to your lost item. If you have lost your wallet further afield, the device will ping itself off anyone that passes with an Apple mobile phone. The location will then be updated on your Find My app and you will be able to locate it by using the map within the app. Don’t ask me how this all works. My guess is that it’s some form of wizadry! Of course, this doesn’t have to be in a wallet. It could be placed in anything that you want to keep safe such as a bag, some luggage, etc. The Chipolo card spot currently costs 30, which is pretty much in line with the cost of airtags. Because the airtags are rounded and thicker, they are harder to fit in a wallet. The shape of the Chipolo makes it much easier.

It was really easy to set up. There are step by step instructions in the box. Simply go to the ‘Find My’ app, add a new device and press the small button on the Chipolo card spot. Sorted!

You will also be alerted if your phone goes out of range from the Chipolo. Once the bluetooth link is broken, you will get a notification that you have left your Chipolo linked item behind. It is IPX5 water resistant, so no worries if you drop your wallet in a puddle of water.

As others have stated, the big down side to this is that the in built battery can’t be replaced, so once the battery is flat, that’s it. Chipolo does advertise a 50% off discount code for a new device after two years. All you have to do is register your product on the Chipolo website and they will send you a 50% off discount code after 2 years. Not as cheap as having a replacable battery, but better than being without a product after 2 years.

    Seems good so fa

If you’re somebody who constantly loses or misplaces your wallet, this device is ideal to locate it again and could end up paying for itself several times over.

It’s small, slim and lightweight, allowing you to easily slide it into the inside of your wallet or purse without even noticing it’s there.

Setup is easy using the ‘Find My’ app and then adding the item as a new device. You’re able to then either play a sound, or use maps to locate your wallet if it’s ever lost.

The only downside is that it has a built in battery that isn’t replaceable and only lasts 2 years. So once the battery goes, it will need to be thrown out and replaced, which seems a bit wasteful.

I hope you found this review helpful.

Good for people who constantly lose their wallet.

My first impression of the card was how thin. Thickness is approximately equivalent to two cards put together. It then came to my mind how I would charge this device. It turns out that this device does not recharge, but rather that it has a set battery life. They state that it should last around two years based on the information on the back of the box, but I think it’s safe to assume that it could be a little less if searching and setting the alarm off often. This may be a disappointment, but I see this as a benefit as the price is relatively affordable, and you can use this to track other devices, not only a wallet, without the requirement for it to charge.

There is a button you can press to help pair the device in the find devices program on apple hardware. However, despite the app being available on mac, it does not work very well, saying that the location cannot be found a lot of the time and even requires an iPhone to connect the first time. Functionality on the phone is good, however.

Very slim, only not for android devices

I have one of these in my wallet because I often leave it behind when I’m leaving the house

Like most, the main attraction of this item was its credit card shape making it ideal as a wallet tracker.

It’s a pity it hasn’t got a replaceable or rechargeable battery (like an Orbit card) but the form factor is excellent.

However of concern that it regularly (maybe once a day) notifies as being ‘left behind’ when it is in my pocket.

This doesn’t inspire confidence as false positives are disconcerting

Great item. worth noting this version only work with ios (apple).
Great to keep in your wallet or purse/bag so it’s easy to find them again.

Similar price and you CAn mis and match brands. ONLY for IOS devices

The Apple Air Tag have the Ultra-wideband technology which enables exceptionally accurate location when you are very near IF your phone supports it, however then Chipolo versions have a lounder buzzer which more then compensates

The Chipolo version comes a flat wallet card which is not available from Apple. The Chipolo keyring version have a keyring hole as opposed to the Apple versions that need a separate holder at an additional cost. The Chipolo is slightly larger but the Airtag is larger once you add a case

The Apple versions are metal which will scratch, however they have the Apple logo, the Chipolo whilst being plastic looks more study.

So the real question is how much does the Apple name mean to you, they both do the same function and the fact that Chipolo make a flat card is a differentator.

Note the flat card has a sealed battery so the device will need to be replaced after two years at a 50% discount.

    Hope this helps

Great product to simply leave in your wallet and feel safe about it, since you can’t lose it anymore.
Thanks to the tracking, you’ll be able to see where you left your wallet!
Easy to setup through the app, works well with iOS

This is my first time using a product like this and so far I’m happy with it. These things aren’t cheap, so the price is to be expected. However, it says the battery only lasts 2 yrs so, 30 for 2 yrs doesn’t really sound such a good deal maybe. Wish the battery was replaceable. Easy to set up with my iPhone. Seems to work well

This is a great tracker device from Chipolo – ultra-thin, it fits neatly into a card slot in your purse or wallet, and is simply paired with the “Find My” app on your Apple device to enable you to recover lost items wherever you leave them! The pairing process is quick and simple, and once paired you can simply trigger a noise from the device and/or mark it as lost to help you locate it in next to no time. The devices themselves are made from good quality materials and are robust to stand up to everyday wear and tear. You can also activate notifications if you leave the device behind (e.g. in your wallet), so you can rest assured you have all the items you need with you when you leave the house!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersA credit card size tracker, that you can slip into your wallet, purse, or man bag, phone etc. But be aware, the battery isn’t replaceable and after 2 years when it dies, that’s the end of it, which seems a waste, even ‘Nuts’ have a replaceable battery, which is what I use at the moment. They do give you a 50% discount code with the tracker, so that in 2 years time it will help you purchase a new one.
The card is completely compatible with the iOS ‘Find My Phone’ system, and is so easy to set up, just follow the instructions on the pull out case, and it found and connected first time. You’re able to name the place you put the card, and if you misplace it, signal it to make a sound from your phone, including pin pointing where it is.
The card is about double the thickness of a credit card, and fits perfectly in the credit card slots in your wallet or purse.
A great device, just a pity the battery isn’t replaceable. But I’m happy to recommend.

Battery only lasts 2 years, and isn’t replaceable

This is a superb Apple friendly tag that fits nicely into a wallet or purse. It is actually credit card sized and about the same weight.

Setting up is very simple, just add it as a device in the Find My app by pressing the button. It’s probably easier to pair than Apple’s proprietary AirTag. It seem accurate and the noise when finding it is probably a little clearer than AirTag.

So far so good. The battery life claimed is two years but it doesn’t appear to be replaceable, which at this price is quite a disadvantage.

Overall it’s a great product if you’re happy with the two year life.

Very slim & lightweight- will easily fit into a wallet, very quickly set up with an iPhone. My only issue is they don’t tell you the battery only last two years & can’t be replaced.

I have one of these in my wallet because I often leave it behind when I’m leaving the house – usually on 30+ mile trips before I realize that it is missing. Since it uses Find My, I could use the left behind functionality used with AirTags with it. Yesterday it saved me.

Works perfectly and integrates flawlessly with apples find my phone and app. Also works better than apples own equivalent in that it has a louder ring when searching using the app

I have two of these cards (one for my wallet and one for my work ID) and love them! I also have two spots for keys. These work with Find My app for iPhones and it works flawlessly and SUPER easy to setup.

The cards are not bulky, and fit perfectly in my wallet and Id badge holder.

You can make them chirp and see battery life and location in the Find My app. You also get notifications when you are too far away from them.
