For the money this is pretty decent to be fair. I hadn’t heard of Chuwi but I now have two Chuwi minipc’s and this laptop and for normal use applications they’re very good value.
For gamers, we have Steam running on this laptop and older games run fine. I doubt it will be good for graphically demanding games though.
Steinberg Cubase 12 happily runs on it for music studio use and with a Focusrite Solo Audio adaptor and a Nektar LX49 keyboard controller it makes a nice portable music setup and with a few VSTs loaded its fine. 2 USB 3.0 ports is a bit frugal, and the ports themselves can be tight with some USB devices, but use a USB 3.0 hub and its all good.
Just for a little security on these (and any other PC frankly), follow Steve Gibson’s advice and disable the Microsoft WTBP functionality to prevent the possibly of any additional OEM firmware loading on boot. Search “WTBP Steve Gibson” to learn more and you can type grc.sc/926 in a browser to get his app which will quickly disable this unneeded functionality. This is not essential just gives peace of mind for the paranoid!
This is an excellent machine. I have not tested it completely yet but so far so good. Pity the basic level windows operating system is used. I would recommend the Pro as I use these features on my other machine. For the price i don’t believe you can get better.
As I am a student, the laptop I was using it was broke down, so I needed a new laptop.
I came to Amazon marketplace to purchase a new laptop and I came across this item and found out it has great descriptions such as a memory capability and hard drive.
So far, I am enjoying using my new laptop, it is working perfect, I just still checking for a battery life, because since I bought, I didn’t use it more than one hour. Since I received it, it is one week now so far I charged twice only.

it came loaded with windows 11, so very easy to use, not sure why but, i was expecting a bigger screen, yet this size is perfect for my use, came with keyboard protector too, which i as a laptop killer ( via drinks) sure needed, excellent value for money, ive used this make before and am very happy with my purchase
Well it took me days/hours to decide on a ‘cheaper’ laptop. I wanted a expensive one but funds didn’t allow.
So far after 2 weeks, it’s fast, great battery, quick start up, good features.
Not a massive memory but if needed can get a external drive.

It’s a good laptop for a student can take along time installing updates but once your past doing that it’s not bad at all
I was looking for a laptop after my MacBook Air gave up on me. I wanted something capable of everything without breaking the bank, when I seen this laptop at first I was sceptical but that price you would be but I can honestly say this laptop has been able to do everything I have thrown at it from work to gaming. I honestly think this laptop is better than my old MacBook Air. If you are thinking of purchasing this laptop go for it the only slight problem I have if the speakers in the laptop aren’t the best they are on a par with the iPhone speaker (not bad/not great).
The original product stopped working after 3m, after initial difficult contacting customer care a replacement was sent which works fine out of the box. Camera works ok but not brilliant picture

I had low expectations due to the price but the laptop runs smoothly and is perfect for studying, the keyboard can get stuck sometimes but this is a quality device.
I’m not particularly computer literate so I find this pretty easy to use. The speaker isn’t great but that’s not the end of the world…
have had this for just over 3 weeks now.performance has been fine, use it mainly for music production. mainissue is the keyboard-when typing lots of text, youneed to really thunkthekeys. the mainissue isthe spacebar- youthinkyou’ve hitit, and it doesnt register. really annoying- youlookupand there are nobloody spaces as this text shows. if youtype a lot, iwouldnot buy this.
This is my wife’s frist laptop, she wanted something easy to use, lightweight, and good screen display.
Laptop is very light weight easy to hold in your hands and can be moved around by one hand if needed, plus it’s a very slimline laptop, which my wife likes.
Screen is very good, sharp picture and good full colour display with a nice bright light for viewing on the screen, you can tone the brightness down if you want too.
Battery life is good, for what my wife uses the laptop for, which is for work and shopping online and social media use.
Processor is quite fast for this laptop for general use, its not powerful enough for gaming highend, its OK for solitaire Candy Crush etc.
All in all the wife is happy with the laptop and the cost to purchase the laptop is very good price. If you going to use this laptop for general use watching videos and surfing the internet it’s good choice for a budget laptop.
Great laptop for the price. Camera a major drawback tho. Only 1 mp and no wide lense which is terrible for zoom meetings . However we bought a plug in web cam which solves the issue.
Brought for my children to do school work on they were so easy to set up they are nice laptops for what they need it for not to big or heavy the screen quality is really nice on them my kids love them

Perfect size 14″, good feel, removable keyboard cover. Didn’t have separate number pad. 8gig of ram and 256 gig of storage.

This is a good laptop for easy day to day life. Good battery life. I love this laptop as it is very light. But is very delicate incase dropped. I study software engineering, meaning I am programming a lot of the time. I have built a tower PC, however I want to get away from my office sometimes. This laptop does exactly what I need it for, and nothing more.

Nice laptop but, the battery lasts around 3 hours without the charger . Fast, light, met the expectations.
Overall good daily use laptop, keyboard needes configuring to UK layout. Touch pad can sometimes be over sensitive at times.
The user had suffered a complete failure of their PC and with more colleges being locked down, home study was an absolute must. The Chuwi Herobook matched the specification, was a fair price AND was in stock on Amazon!
So the early delivery and our usual high service level from Amazon over many transactions/purchases we opted for ghe Herobook.
So once unpacked the laptop proved to be well made and presented. After charging the Herobook was turned on and loaded rapidle enabling a swift set up and installation of software, testing and internet connection, all was good and a very happy user went to work on his studies with a huge smile and renewed drtermination.
In short, a high quality well made laptop that loads quickly and is rock solid with internet connection, wifi printer connection seamless.

Bought this laptop for my daughter who started high school in September. Highly recommend this laptop, easy to use, lightweight and does exactly what you need it do! She loves it and has had no issues with it whatsoever. Perfect price, and perfect laptop for a 11 year old.

Does everything it says on the tin, but has one REALLY annoying design fault – the ‘delete’ button which is ordinarily to be found on the top right hand side of most keyboards, has been replaced with the ‘power’s button.

Picture prefect does what I want very lightweight and the longest battery life I’ve had on a laptop for a while. Also it has Bluetooth which it didn’t mention.
Great lightweight laptop really fast and boots up in seconds, battery does get really hot tho I contacted Chuwi about this and they said to use a cooling stand, which I was already doing there is no in my internal fan in the laptop. So a cooling stand I would say is necessary.
A good little laptop to run around with. I did end up buying a portable mouse as the mouse pad isn’t the best.
Thus far seems really good value and a nice device, how robust only time will tell.
I got it for my parents to just do email and on-line shopping, so they didn’t need anything too powerful, however I chose this one as it had a decent size SSD and RAM meaning that it boots up and opens Edge and email client nice and quickly.
I had a problem with the Windows License but CHUWI support was quick to respond and resolve the issue.
The US keyboard is a minor inconvenience.

The battery life in this is incredible. I can use this for hours on end and the battery remains at a decent level. It is quick enough to do everything that I need with a very good screen quality.

This was an unanticipated purchase for a class due to my current laptop not being able to run a certain program. I am so pleased with the fact the product arrived well before I was originally anticipating, and the fact that the laptop is in extremely great condition. Again I can’t say enough how happy I am with this product and very relieved to have it in record time!
Nice notebook for the price. Sounds a bit tinny when using bluetooth but apart from that everything is fine speed is not the fastest. If you won’t a faster pc go for a amd ryzen processor.
Lightweight, decent battery life, quality screen and enough ram to actually run Win10 decently.
For the price you can’t go wrong if you want a laptop for day to day computing such as college and school work.

1) Build quality- the laptop is very clearly made out of plastic to the extent that it kind of bends a little bit if you put some pressure on it.
2) WiFi – it only has single band wifi and it’s not the most reliable. It’s just dropped out completely on me a few times and I’ve had to restart the computer.
3) Celeron processor!! Okay, its not that bad (at least it’s 64 bit) but its a dual-core and it really REALLY struggles to play games.
In summary, a cheap little laptop that does everything most people need. The only question is how long will it last before things start to go wrong!
I like the lightness of lap top I only use it for personal banking e mails etc just great also easy to set up.
Came with gel keyboard overlay which fits really well. Can not complain at this price. Just remember to set up before connecting WiFi. Once windows 10 has booted and Cortana has shut up, then connect WiFi for updates. Very happy for the money
I use this all the time. It does work brilliantly, but I gave it 1 star less because it simply is not fast enough to keep up with the recent online games! I mean, I suppose it has given me a kind of life back. A life without games…
A perfect laptop for a 12 year old who has to have remote schooling in the lockdown. And it seems also perfect for spending hours with the games! Decided to trust the (for me) new manufacturer CHUWI, so far very happy with it.

2 USB ports (one is 2.0, one is 3.0), they look the same, but the laptop comes with little guides that won’t tell you which is which, but that’s fine with me.

To me, one of the most striking things is probably the 14.1-inch 1920 * 1080 IPS display, which is bright and clear for video.
The speakers are of sufficient quality to match the desired mid – laptop. A clear voice and simple controls make it a standout feature that most laptops don’t have.
Windows 10 comes pre-installed, takes 15 seconds to boot, and the Intel Core M-5y10 processor runs smoothly in my daily use, which is a little difficult if you want to use it for big games.
There’s some outdated software on the inside of your laptop, but you can sort it out or carry it with you.
The fan is running, but you don’t feel it, and you can barely hear it.
I probably get 3-4 hours on a full charge and a battery life of over 8 hours, which is pretty good.
In terms of price, it beats many of the more expensive laptop screens I’ve seen, which are very sharp. The keyboard feels very natural and is very satisfying to use. And the price tag is staggering (a whopping 280).
The battery life isnt what I had hoped for but is decent.
The screen clarity is impressive and with the 8gb Ram it is fast enough to do what I require with ease
