It arrived quickly and was relatively easy to put together. The box is quite heavy when it arrives but the individual parts are quite manageable to assemble.
I like the idea that the height is adjustable as it can be used for the little ones as well as the adults.
A classic garden game for dry days and evenings. Can play alone or against another. one to keep about the house when you have children. Although this requires being staked into the ground there not a versatile or portable as the other version.
Adults have played, so far it’s withheld against their volleys.

Good swing ball – only problem I found – the piece to be hammered into ground wasn’t overly strong – and after a few hits with mallet – it started bending

Was disappointed there were no instructions after some trial and error got it working pretty quickly.
Every year we buy a new swing ball. Usually the one with the base that you fill with water. This year was the first time we went with the one you put in the ground and it has lasted so much longer and better! It’s sturdier, it doesn’t fly around as much and much better value for money. Hoping this will last until next year!
Great swingball. Glad you can still get the one that sticks in the ground as the other version wouldn’t last 2 minutes with my kids! Classic garden game that doesn’t involve going next door every 5 minutes to get your ball back!! Fab!
My partner and I are adults but we absolutely love our Swingball set. It’s really fun for a quick game in the garden (although a quick game usually turns into many competitive rounds…). Good quality and I love that the rackets hang onto the pole for easy storage. It is good for keeping outside in all weathers, too. Perfect for all ages!

A tennis ball at the end of a string that is attached and spins round a central pole via being smacked with plastic rackets.
I’m sure you know the crack by now.
My only gripe is that I got the version with no base (due to the desire to play on grass / uneven garden ground) and you just sort of push the pole into the ground and that’s it. Which is easy and quick yes. However this makes for a not so sturdy outcome once the games start rolling and the pole inevitably wobbles under the strain. Especially in softer ground settings.
I wish they featured a simple screw in adapter that you could bore into the ground by hand to then snugly place the pole into. Similar to what rotary washing lines use.
Good family game. Just about robust enough for keenly competitive kids and ggrand adults. Would struggle with competitive adults.
But it does the job

A little bit difficult for two 6 year olds together at first, but after playing with an adult they were able to get into a rhythm playing each other.
First time I have played this in years , nice and sturdy in the ground doesn’t move. Good fun and not a bad price . Recommended
Easy to set up and a good work out happy memories
Works well, our 6 year old grandaughter has great fun with this. However it could do with a steel tube that you insert in the lawn just below grass level as a permanent fixture. This would make setting up and taking down the swingball a lot easier.

Great for the garden and the kids. Need a mallet to hammeer into the lawn. But once done you can remove when not used and put back in the hole when you want a game

Sturdy metal pole, bats are are thick and quite heavy so not ideal for kids under 6yrs( there is junior swing ball version) this is for kids over 10yrs and adults.
This is the second one of these we’ve bought and we still love it. Brilliant fun for teens and adults. It’s nice to see that the new design is slightly taller. These last years and the first thing to go will be the ball but it does get the most hammer. We’ve replaced the ball ourselves a few times which was easy enough to do, but you can buy the replacement ball and string if yours is beyond repair.
Sturdy made of metal not plastic like a lot of things these days, grandchildren love it they’ve had hours of fun so far.
It’s great for the garden, me and my son enjoy playing with it. Easy to put together, no complaints!
It brought back good memories of having one when I was younge
Couple of comments:
1. Slightly surprised this came in an unbranded brown box. That suits us fine, but would have been disappointing if intended as gift.
2. When you reach top or bottom of the spiral the string loop comes off and just keeps spinning in place. You have to walk up to the pole and manually reset to start a new game. I imagine this is intentional design to make it clear a game has finished and there is a winner, but seems odd to me as when I have played these in the past you’ve been able to just bat it backwards and carry on if you want.
This so easy to assemble that my 10 year old grandchild did it without any help at all. We we had a great time together.it’s sturdy it’s made of metal and the bat holder is handy.
Not as good quality as the original swing ball but does the job
it was easy to assemble packed really well lots of fun and you can get really competitive ideal for children and teenagers for all year round burning of energy
Present for granddaughter takes us back years. Still loads of fun.
