Bit fiddly to put up 1st time, but sure it’s easier next time. Withstands rain and wind, especially as we anchored it down but some large hook to concrete

A very nice quality shelter. Having upgraded from a very cheap garden shelter, this oozes quality. Despite instructions saying 2 people are needed to erect this shelter, I have managed to do this without an enormous struggle without assistance. I can recommend buying the side panels, these work straightforwardly clipping into position, and mean you can get some extra shade when really sunny, but more usefully can keep warm as the sun goes down and the evening cools off. On very hot days it can get quite warm under this shelter, in this situation if there isn’t a breeze about, an umbrella is definitely cooler.
Bottom line, I have no regrets buying this and I would buy it again.

I have only had this out to check all in order but bought on the strength of using one on a trip recently it was the kitchen and was certainly put to the test with wind and rain the other cheaper concertina type thing got trashed by the elements but this was not fussed apart from nearly lifting off as was not tethered down fully. The water runs off down the legs too rather than raining off the entrances very impressed that’s why I got one! I was worried about getting sunburnt but sure it would of saved me from that too. Great thing to have reckon it would take 10 minutes or so to put up? Taped seams and 1000mm hydrotec. Fire resistant. Well made good design.
Despus de una nevada tremenda este invierno en Madrid hemos perdido la carpa/gazebo que tenamos. El Coleman ha sido nuestra 4 compra de carpas, teniendo que devolver los otros tres (no eran de Amazn) por varios razones. El Coleman es el colmo! Nada ms ponerlo en el jardn, nos lleg un viento tremendo y justo despus una tormenta de lluvia. Seguamos cenando en confort total debajo. Una maravilla! Pueda ser que algunos dicen que es algo de “camping”, pero en nuestra casa parece elegante y moderno totalmente.

Instructions a bit rubbish but easy to work out how to assemble. Very sturdy once assembled. We spent a whole rainy afternoon under it and it didn’t leak. However did start to let water through later on after very heavy rain. Easy to disassemble and put away.
Wer schon jemals ein Hauszelt aufgebaut hat – der sollte keine/wenig Probleme mit dem Aufbau haben. Das Ding steht stabil und bietet Schutz. Wenn man Platz hat, dann sollte man aber die grere Variante kaufen (eigentlich immer). Nimmt auch nicht mehr Platz bei der Aufbewahrung ein und alles wir ein wenig, naja, lockerer, weniger geschlichtet… 🙂
Nice product but when erecting you should consider the wind factor.. No more than 5-6mph or you’ll be parasailing & risk damaging your product.
Fully assembled (with guy fixing) this canopy quite sturdy & will handle a breeze, that said consider said breeze assisting the disassembly..
So carful planing with weather considerations is a health & safety factor.
This product weight is 15+kg so short of a car you’ll need a trolley at the very least.
Finally I’m nearly 60 so if am ole bodger like me can assemble I think most will be able.

It was very easy to erect and seems really sturdy. You do need the weights for the legs but that is standard for these shelters. I didn’t know what the rating for warmth is about, sorry.
Not really designed for warmth – but effective for keeping the warmth out. Initially took quite a time to erect, but certainly easier the next time we put it up. We are very pleased with this purchase.
This is the third shelter we have bought. In this one the poles are connected by two wires whereas in the earlier ones they were connected by chain. I queried this with the maker but they assure me it is guaranteed for two years and not to worry.
In der Artikelschreibung steht “Wasser abweisend” ich kann aus eigener Erfahrung sagen, das nach drei Tagen Dauerregen und starkem Wind, nicht ein Tropfen Wasser durch das Materie gedrungen ist. Gleiches gilt auch fr die Seitenwnde.

A really robust gazebo. We used this during the lockdown to gain some extra shade. It held up so well in the wind and only took the cover down when we had gale force winds. It hasn’t stretched at all and the structure didn’t move. We also bought a side panel to add some additional shade. We will be putting it away soon for next year. It is a quality gazebo that will no doubt last us several years. It offered good protection from the sun on even the hottest days.
Brought this item as an extension for our camping excursion, ideal size to add onto a 5 birth tent. Used it for the first time for the week before the august bank holiday. It was an absolute game changer, should of brought one years ago massively impressed to its sturdyness stood up well to the storms what hit us. If anyone is seriously thinking about purchasing one I would seriously recommend it. I know it is quite expensive but the build and materials used is a lot better than the cheaper ones on the market.
Excellent sturdy shelter….. can just get 8 people say in a square (Covid counting)… shelter is heavy in the bag but that weight is its strength once erected and guy ropes set. Left our up since the day it arrived four weeks ago and use it in all weathers!
1. My dogs won’t wee in the garden at night unless I stand outside with them, whistling in whisper tones, and sounding like a day-release patient
2. I don’t like sunbathing but I do like to sit on my fat arse outside.
So I purchased. It was on offer at the time. I put it up all my myself (and I’m just a woman… I know, right?!). Instructions fairly easy to process, probs took 20 Mins Solo and needed a little step to do the fiddly bit at the top. The bit that’s the most difficult is just getting the canvas orientated and then it’s really easy.
Quick to take down, which I had to with the recent winds because otherwise it would have taken off… even with it well battened down it would “lift” in a stiff breeze… I am having a nice man put some tie down rings onto the patio so I can tie it to the floor like the naughty little tent it is, and then will use all year around.
Oh, it’s also massive, mine was supposed to be 3x3m, and that’s the area the top covered but the ground space it took up was 3.6×3.6m…

It was definitely not a quick assembly but was quite manageable with 2 people.

We just love this Coleman event shelter. It was easy to put up and was sturdy in wind and rain. It is a great addition to our camping kit and highly recommend it. We felt this product was good value and will be purchasing some walls for our next visit, just to give us a bit more protection from the wind. Highly recommended.
A bit harder to put up correctly than I expected, but was easier second time. Felt very stable when guyed down properly, it was quite windy and very wet the second night we had it up. I also purchased a couple of side panels to go with it, which were good at keeping the side wind and rain from getting in. They don’t go down to the floor so was a bit draughty round the ankles…
Zum aufstellen besser mit 3-4 Personen einplanen. Es steht dann aber super fest. Trotz sehr starkem Wind hat es bis jetztgut gehalte
We bought this for my mother-in-law as we have one already. She loves it! It’s well made and value for money.
Works well for what we use it for. Although one person can assemble/disassemble, it really is easier with 2 people. Good coverage canopy. Make sure to secure it down well even in light winds.
Poor instructions and helps if you have two persons to erect it. Very pleased with it once its up. Much easier on second erection.
We have this along with 4 of the sides and if works brilliantly.
My advice when putting it up with sides is to attach the sides first, then fix the feet down.
The frame work is excellent and very solid however the cover will wear and weather after a year outside in the sun and rain and will start to tear in windy conditions.
I’ve had 3 of these in total and each does the same… its unfortunate that you can’t just buy the cover for a reasonable price.
Very good whilst they last and if you’re only using it for the odd gathering it’ll last for years.
Put up on large decking area I am77 year old woman but managed to put up on my own took me 2 hours but now I know how it goes up and down I m sure it will be quicker next time. I love it and looks great.
Absolutely brilliant, well constructed easy to put up. Has been in a very windy position since it was put up in the summer and it has withstood all weathers.
It has been used as a workshop by my husband and various carpenters so they have been able to work when it’s raining and no mess in the house. A dream
bought it to keep the sun from destroying us and cat likes to shelter under it, bought this as a replacement for one that was destroyed in a force nine gale, our own fault (mine), just too lazy to dismantle it, had stood up all year to the weather it was just a gale too far. can confirm that it takes two old people thirty minutes to fully erect the shelter and less to take it down, so easy I do not know why we ( I ) left it to mother nature to complete the job overnight, might just buy another cover as the frame survived intact.
Nach einer Woche Strandurlaub und tglichem Auf- und Abbauen immer noch im Top Zustand. Sehr zu empfehlen, da Leicht aufzubauen. Sehr guter Schattenspender, auch bei Wind.
Wir haben den Sonnenschutz fr unseren Aufstellpool gekauft und sind wirklich begeistert. Er ist schnell aufgebaut und hat eine Transporttasche inkl. in der sogar die Aufbauanleitung eingebaut ist. Mit zustzlichen Seitenfenstern schtzt es auch vor Wind. Aus unserer Sicht eine absolute Empfehlung.

This has been a great purchase with much use. The shelter is well made, ok to assemble and helps in sun and showers. It needed a wall attachment (helps with shade) but great vale for money. I have not tried in excessive weather but in a gusty breeze held firm and in light showers kept us dry. For big time campers, this could be a useful acquisition, a great help for our events
Have used this in the garden to shelter children’s grassed play area. Has been up continuously since first erected about 6 weeks ago and the weather has been good, bad and perfect or terrible with episodes of heavy rain, high winds and really nice sunshine. So, all in all it has been very good. If I have a criticism it would be about the lack of useful instructions for putting it up in the first place but a bit of thought was enough to get the job done.
So pleased with the sturdy nature of this gazebo and its performance in wind and rain at community events. Worth the extra investment over the cheaper models.

We have a Coleman Rocky Mountain 5 plus tent but wanted an extra room to sit in at night, we got the 3×3 with 2 sides and a door and it was perfect. It rained quite a bit on its 1st outing and it was a god send, stayed dry inside would highly recommend

Used our gazebo for the first time at a music festival. Exceptionally quick and easy to erect, provided protection all day from the blazing sun, also easy to dismantle and pack away in the dark at the end of a long day. Yet to be tested in wet or windy weather!

This shelter goes up quickly with two people. Once up, it is secure, but needs to be tied down in windy conditions.Bad news is the weight and size when packed. I thought from the images that the poles would be fibre glass but they are pre-formed mild steel. So while I will use it in my garden, probably wont use on camping trips as the bulk makes it impractical in a medium saloon car with tent, luggage, dog and wife. Shame.
We bought this from Amazon last year, it was good in the hot weather giving us some respite from the sun, have put up again this year and it’s still looking great. Have noticed it leaks a little so not suitable for bad weather.
This has been great at 3 events so far! One was really rainy, one really windy and one really hot. Glad we bought weights to hold it down in the wind!
Erecting this gazebo was a doddle, so easy to do.
We have put it up in our dog training pen to give the dogs somewhere to get out of the sun when not working. Though we didnt realise it was as big as it is – it actually turned out to be a bonus as we can all get under it when we need a break. The dogs love it and stretch out under it. Whether it is waterproof or weatherproof I dont know as yet. But to be truthful we didnt buy it to get out of adverse weather as that is not a problem when training it is the heat that becomes a problem and this gazebo is a godsend. Thank you.

It’s been up since it arrived and endured a couple of fairly windy days without issue, that said it is in a fairly sheltered spot in the garden and well pegged down. I would suggest some sort of weighted devices around the legs if it’s going to be used in an exposed spot.
As for useable space underneath there is plenty, our spa sits square in the middle of it and there is plenty of space around it. The spa holds six people easily so it’s not small and it looks lost under the event shelter. Next purchase is a couple of side walls to add a bit of shelter when the weather isn’t great but the spa is calling!
Great shelter but in heavy rain it will pool in odd places and leak I used my washing line prop and put it in middle where the vents are to hold it up better and it works the water runs straight off MRS S HOWELL .
I bought this to provide shelter from the sun in the garden. Positioned it over our patio furniture. Easy to put up,needed two people. It’s like having an additional room in the garden. Great to sit out in the evening and even eaten outside in the rain! Yes it is waterproof. Highly recommended

Very effective shelter, purchased the Medium size as an easy to erect awning for my motorcaravan. Easy to put up, tho easier still with a helper. Lots of space, also purchased two sunwalls and two door sections. Shame the mesh sunwall is not made in this size as it would be good for ventilation. Tip, if putting sidewalls in don’t peg down the feet beforehand as they may need adjustment in order to make the sides fit in ok
Been up for a couple of months already – I covered mine in Fabsil as a back up – never moved in the wind and never leaked. Taller than you think, so head clearance is good.
It has been used several times at rugby festivals, although heay to lug around

Normalerweise kaufe ich fr Festivals den 50 standart-Pavillon aus dem Baumarkt der danach kaputt ist. Dieser Pavillon hlt allerdings auch starken Wind und 3 Tage Dauerregen aus! Verpackt ist er in einer praktischen Tragetasche, sodass man ihn auch super transportieren kann. Wer fters Zelten oder nicht jedes mal einen neuen Pavillon kaufen will, dem kann ich diesen Pavillon wrmstens empfehlen.
Nun steht der Coleman vllig cool mitten auf der Wiese im Aussenbereich unseres Hauses und spendet uns Schatten,schtzt bei Regen; und dabei sieht er voll edel aus.
Was mit ihm passiert bei unseren obligatorischen Unwettern wird sich zeigen. Bishe

While this is heavy and pricey, the quality is without question. We took this camping instead of a gazebo and it wins on several fronts.
1. It packs up much smaller.
2. it’s much more wind resistant.
3. it’s easier to put up single handed.
