I enjoy this heater as a good alternative to switching on the heating in all rooms on days where I am just on one (typically a WFH day). It feels more cost effective in one sense, but also it using a lot will rack up your energy bill so be warned!

This is a very versatile and easy to install over door heater which can actually be installed along any wall and not necessarily above a door. It has the ability to heat or cool making it perfect for all year round.

We’ve installed this in our dining room which doesn’t have a radiator and it’s made such a difference, it heats up quickly and blows the air out which can be adjusted via the remote control, the cooling is very effective too and covers a decent surface area.

A great addition to the home whether it be over the door or on the wall. It’s easy to operate and saves putting the whole heating on if you just need one room or area heated.

I love how easy this is to install. No need for any professional work – easily a one-person job. It’s also really simple to use and the remote is intuitive.

Build quality is very good. It feels robust and sturdy, and mounts on to the wall securely without any wobbling (as long as the screws have been fixed properly).

This is very powerful despite how relatively small it is. It’s kept the temperature at a consistent warmth for the past two weeks, and almost instantly accommodates an incoming gust from the door opening every now and then. I’ve only needed to use this on medium setting most of the time, so the 1000W power usage is really good.

The schedule/timer works perfectly. Ideal for keeping your room or doorway’s temperature under control without needing to worry about turning it on and off every now and then.

The child lock function is quite a nifty feature (though it can be a tad counterintuitive since one only needs to switch off the heater then switch it back on to enable the settings – if a child is playing around with the remote, they could press the power off/on button just as well as the setting buttons? Anyway, not an issue for me!).

Good value for money. Would happily recommend.

The heater arrived safely, and it comes neatly packed inside a brown cardboard box. Along with the heater you get a remote control, 2x 35mm screws, 2x wall plugs, and the user guide. The power cable is approx. 1.5m in length with UK plug attached, and the heater is made in China.

I’m pleased with the overall quality of the heater; it uses good quality plastics, it looks smart, the screen is bright and easy to read, and in general everything seems well put together. The remote control is a bit basic and cheap feeling but its functional and does the job.

The heater is mounted on a wall using two screws which are approx. 33cm apart. You just install the wall plugs and screws, place the locating holes of the heater onto the screws and slide it to the right slightly to “lock” it in place so it wont just fall off the wall. Its not too heavy of a unit so as long as the screws are installed properly you shouldn’t have any problems.

The heater has a main power switch located on the rear of the unit and when its set to the On position you can turn the heater on using the power button on the rear of the heater or by using the remote control. The display shows plenty of information including which modes you are using, the temperature of the room, and what the thermostat is set to.

There are two heat settings as well as a cool blow function for when you just want some air circulation. The fan diffuser will open automatically when you turn the heater on, and you can either set it to constantly oscillate forwards and backward or set it to a position you like and leave it there.

Some of the built-in features include:
Smart Operation mode — Basically a mode which acts as a single button to turn the oscillation on with maximum heat.
Adjustable Thermostat — Can set the temperature between 10-49 degrees C. Anything below 2 degrees from the set temperature will turn on maximum heat and if it goes more than 1 degree above the set temperature then only the fan will switch on to keep the air circulating.
24 Timer Function — Can set a timer between 1 and 24 hours.
Weekly Timer setting — You can set different times and temperatures for each day of the week or set the heater to the same schedule for each day.
Window Open Function — If this mode is turned on then when the ambient temperature drops by 3 degrees or more within 1 minute the heater will turn off automatically. To turn the heater back on requires you to restart it manually.
Child Lock Function — Prevents the heaters setting from being changed once its powered on.

We have installed the heater on the wall inside our bathroom and after several weeks of using it we haven’t come across a single issue. It kicks out a decent amount of heat, the oscillate function works very well, its not very noisy for a heater, and it has all the necessary safety features built-in including not letting the diffuser close until the heater has cooled down first.

Overall, I think this is an excellent air curtain heater that’s well made, provides good performance and for all the features that are included I feel it represents great value for money too. It’s ideal for when space is at a premium and/or you don’t want a heater on the floor because of animals or children present. It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel its worth the full five stars, buy with confidence!

Good quality, nice design, plenty of features and performs well!

For 55.95 (at the time of writing), you’ll get a compact and neat heater that looks good, easy to operate and works well.

I needed a heat source for the summer house as there was no radiator and there’s not much on the floor so this is perfect.

Installation was super easy, there’s no hardwiring, just plugs into a normal socket. Do bear in mind that the cable is not very long, it’s only 1.45m. There’s a socket that’s above the work surface height, so I didn’t have problem fitting this there. Otherwise, a simple extension would do the trick.

The remote is convenient and easy to use. It has three heat settings that heats up quickly and the adjustable thermostat is useful as it will turn on and off when it needs to so you can just leave it to do its job.

I also like the shutdown timer and child lock function features, very useful and great if you have little kids with curious minds in the house.

Overall, I’m very pleased with this heater. It’s perfect for my needs and would highly recommend it.

This is a useful heater unit. It’s described as an overdose heater, but really could be used anywhere as long as it has clearance above the floor. The heater has a 2kw output and certainly seems to give out plenty of heat and warms up my office where I have it installed. It seems to have good heat coverage and the unit has a tilt vent which moves to distribute the heat during operation. It can also be used purely as a fan without heat making it pretty versatile.
It comes with a relatively short power lead depending where your nearest plug is. If your going to mount above a door it makes it a little difficult to connect.
Mounting the unit to the wall is easy with a few screws to drop the unit into position.
It’s good that the heater has a remote control so it’s easy to operate from anywhere in the room. The display is bright and clear showing set temperature. Perhaps slightly more costly than other units but works well

    Great heat output.

The first thing to note about this heater / cooling fan is that it is so easy to install. If you have hung pictures, clocks etc. on walls then you can easily hang this product. The downside is that you are likely to need to run an extension socket somewhere close to where this will be mounted.

Installing an extension socket is easy as all one needs to do is screw the socket to the wall, run the lead to a mains socket then using cable clips simply tack the cable neatly so it’s not loose. Once you have the socket ready, mark the wall where the two screws are going to go for the heater / cooling fan is to be mounted and drill the two holes. Put the rawl plugs into the holes then put the screws into the rawl plugs, leaving enough of the screww hanging out to mount this product onto. That is there is to it. If you need to run an extension lead to where this will be placed the whole job can be done in around 15 minutes. If you already have a socket close by then this product can be up and running in less than five minutes.

The heater heats up very quickly with the flap automatically opening to allow the hot air to be blown out. The heating elements are directly behind the flap so it efficiently blows all the hot air out in a constant flow.

There is a remote comes with this so one can operate the heater / cooling fan from anywhere within range of the remote.

This product is very good at providing welcoming heat as one enters a door from outside and will aid the heating of a home when in use.

Although this is a good fan heater I believe I will be using this much more in the summer time than during the mild winters we currently get as this is also an excellent cooling fan. My home is fine for keeping cool except for the lounge which can be baking hot by 6am as it only takes a hour or so of the rising sun to blast against the five metres of double glazing for the temperature to go well into the high 30c range. Therefore I normally have three or four fans constantly working overtime to try to cool the air down. That is where this cooling fan will come into play. The kitchen has a good three metres of double glazing which acts the same as the lounge so trying to cool the air in the lounge is difficult as hot air is also circulating from the kitchen area and therefore as one is trying to0 cool the air in the lounge it is simply being replaced by the hot air that is circulating. By mounting this by the door it means cool air can circulate through the hallway thus forcing back some of the hot air from the kitchen and therefore also provide cool air that circulates into the lounge. I’ll still need a fan ot two in the lounge but it will be much easier for that fan or two to cool the air with assistance from this product.

Overall, this is a quality product that is easy to install, it is well made, heats well, with plenty of heating control and also blows nice cool air when needed. I am recommending this product as it is good quality and for it can deliver it is good value.

Easy to install and what I personally love is that it’s so compact. Really blends in to the wall so won’t really notice it even in small rooms. Quiet when it’s operating which is such a bonus. Don’t want a huge clonky machine rattling over conversations and TV shows. Has lots of different settings which all work great. Also suitable for small shops for example. Really good for the price

At time of review this cost 69.99 or Prime price of 55.99.

This review was done by the electric bod in the family, hubster.

Superbly compact air curtain type blower that would usually be positioned above a doorway.

3 settings comprising of unheated, half heat, and full heat.

A swing function allows the louvre flap to oscillate to provide a slightly agitated air flow.

When the unit is switched off this flap folds up to leave a neat and tidy appearance.

The remote control is used for all functions.

There are both timer and temperature setting functions as well as a real time clock display.

There is an open window setting that should detect if a window is open and would shut down the heater to save energy.

Very easy to install, providing you have a plug socket nearby.

Will just fit the typical British domestic home door to ceiling clearance, as there must be a minimum 20cm gap above the unit.

This white and silver version with blue display looks really good yet unobtrusive.

Would be ideal for an unheated laundry or boot room or even a shed or garage.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a really powerful little heater, does a fantastic job heating an entryway, it makes such a difference. Not too noisy and it doesn’t seem to be eating up power like our old one.

I have this Devola Eco 2kW electric overdoor heater/air curtain / cooling fan in silver.
It arrived securely packed with remote control and user guide.

The unit seems to be well made from a good quality materials, sturdy and durable.

I like its simple and elegant design.

The blue LED display is clear and easy to read.

Remote control is straightforward to use.

I like that this heater can be a bit personalised as I can choose the heating pattern for a week or 24h. For each day I can programme a different temperature, once I have worked out how to do it, it is now easy and fast for me.
It also has a timer and 3 heating levels. The temperature could be set from 10 to 49C.

The heater is easy to mount and arrived with the mounting kit.
My only struggle was that the power lead isn’t very long, so I had to use an extension lead what isn’t a perfect solution.
Compact size, the measurements are exactly as per listing description.

I like that it is powerful and provides instant heat.

Great design with ceramic inserts to keep warm for longer.

Heats my bedroom fast, so I’m happy with this product.

There is no central heating in our house, the main room has a solid fuel stove and storage heater and the bedrooms have dated panel heaters that are not very efficient. This heater has solved the problem. I have mounted it on the wall over where the panel heater was, it looks so much better and takes up less space, as it is higher I now have room to put my blanket box in the space the panel heater used to use. It is super quick at heating the room, I pop it on only 15 minutes before bed with the door closed and when we walk into the room it is amazing. What a treat to be able to read in bed without freezing hands. The schedule function is really handy, I can set it to switch on 15 minutes before my alarm clock goes off so no more shivering while getting ready. There is a shut off timer as well which can be set up to 24 hours, great for not leaving on all night. I chose the silver colour as I have lilac and silver wallpaper ready to redecorate next month so it will match perfectly. The remote control is great, if I find the room getting too warm I can switch it off or change the heat setting to a lower setting and it is great if I need to take my dog out in the night, just use the remote to switch on the heater so I come back to a nice warm room. Great design with great functions.

This heater looks nice on the face of it and has good and easy to use controls.

    A great product.

Powerful and quiet apart from the loud beep when it turns on.

It heats the area it was meant to very well.

It was easy to put up.

I found programming it difficult, maybe it’s me

I would have appreciated some instructions on how to use/ set the functions which it is described as being capable of.

Just connect the power supply. It’s really so convenient. Suitable for use in cafes, shops, restaurants, bars and even at home.
Clear LED display, can be controlled remotely by remote control. Good heating and cooling function. Mounted on a door, it does a great job of heating or cooling the area. You can set the temperature you want.
The adjustment of temperature and time on the remote control is in the “INSTRUCTION MANUAL”, which is easy to read and operate.
The temperature is fan, heat 1000w, heat 2000w. I am using it in winter now. As long as the door of my living room is opened, cold air will seep in from nowhere. Installed on the door, it can’t create a warm hot air for the whole living room, but it can increase the temperature in the room and isolate that cold air from the outside.
The cable is not long enough and a power strip may be required if it is installed at a high place.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDevola Eco 2kW Electric Overdoor Heater Air Curtain

Measuring 18.7cm x 54.2cm x 12.3cm this is a good size heater, the body is made from attractive looking shiny white plastic with a round display panel on the side. On the base is a large opening that houses the heater element, this has a movable flap which can be adjusted to direct the heat down or to push it out into the room. On the rear is the power button which when switched on can then be controlled via the supplied remote control. Also on the rear is a single use button, this means the heater can be switched on or off one time only, this will bypass any settings that you may have programmed into the heater.

Although designed to be fixed above a doorway, which on a cold day should prevent a freezing cold draught entering the room each time the door is opened. This can also be wall mounted if you prefer, with the directional flap adjusted so that the heat is directed into the room rather than downwards.

The power consumption of this is 2kw, it does have a medium heat setting, along with just blowing cold air. If medium heat is used then the consumption is lowered to just 1kw.

Once the heater is installed you are ready to go, but it does need a power socket nearby to plug into. Just switch the power switch on, then use the remote control to program when the heater switches on, which function to use and various timer settings. The small round display on the heater should show most of this information so you can see at a glance what your settings are.

Overall this is a well made, good looking heater that shouldn’t appear out of place once installed. It’s easy to use, once setup using the remote you can leave it to automatically turn itself on or off, switch off at a desired temperature, or just have it switching on or off at pre programmed times.
