For the price you pay, I this this is worth the buy.

A little noisy than the other more expensive model we have but does the job of cooling a room down very well.
Searched for a good fan for a while. Eventually found this one and it sounded just like what I was looking for. I still wasn’t sure when I pressed the buy it now button, and even when it arrived, I was going to return it. Thankfully, my daughter said let’s unpack it and try it. Getting the fan out of the box is an ordeal, and even though we tried very hard not to, the box was damaged. It’s still early days, but I think this fan is fantastic. The power levels are great, the remoter control is excellent. It is very quiet The modes and the ability to put it on a timer is brill. It’s tall and sleek and totally unobtrusive, and I would highly recommend this Dimplex fan.
I’ve bought two of these as they are so good. Easy to use and very efficient at their job. The height of them makes them perfect for the bedroom too.

It’s slim and doesn’t stand out too much -exactly what I wanted!

Not as cool as expected but disappointed with fan. But will have to do. In heat need air conditioning unit I feel. To realy feel cool even in a one bed flat.

Seems fairly powerful, love the remote, that works well, so don’t have to get up to turn it up, down, on, off etc especially when in bed.
Don’t use the timer so can’t comment on that, seems to work well and don’t think it’s overly noisy.
Well packaged, but it is a bit of a challenge to unpack.
Assembly is okay, you just need to make sure the stand is properly positioned before tightening up the fixing screws.
The remote control works well. Just make sure the battery has the writing on the top side before fixing the cover on. It doesn’t mention that in the instructions.
It’s a tall unit, it will wobble from side to side if touched, but is stable on the base.
I am happy with my purchase. I think it was a really good deal at a lower price than RRP.
I chose this fan as its made by a well know company, and the price represented good value. I also like the 3 year guarantee period. You do need to register this though, otherwise its the standard 1 year.
Just the job for the increased heat this summer. Have this in the bedroom in order to get a night’s sleep! Very handy having the remote control to set up just the right angle for maximum effect. Good not to have feet sticking out to trip you up in the night! Fairly expensive but paid for a good make and happy with purchase.
This tower fan would fit in all rooms as very compact. It was Easy to assemble but the only thing I noticed is the fan wobbles from side to side when not on sweeping mode.
At the moment the temperature outside is 37 degrees. This Dimplex tower fan was an excellent buy, it is very efficient.

Bought one in 2020 and a other in 2021 for bedrooms. Really great, I like the fact they’re tall, so when in bed you are feeling the air rather than it just cooling down the base of the bed, like smaller tower fans!
Much bigger than I realised , looks sleek and modern in the room ! Also quiet, had a previous tower fan which was defiantly more noisy ! Bargain for the 48 I paid !
Very pleased with product, good styling and effective cooling. Reasonably quiet. I find the blue light distracting but this is the only problem.
I like the height of this. Good circulation of cool air. Only been using it on the lowest setting so far and that’s good enough for me. Personally, i find it can be a bit loud, but if in living room with TV or music on you kinda forget about it, but I wouldn’t be able to sleep if i had this on in the bedroom. Quite loud beeps when using remote and settings. Summer coming up soon, let’s see if it really stands up to the test then. Happy with so far though.

It is a well designed fan, very tall and powerful enough to ventilate the areas , refresh and to cool down warm flats like mine. I purchased this fan because I didn’t want a traditional fan, and the Dyson s were too expensive/ for a fraction of the price literally , and a technology that is slightly more traditional than the dyson, this tower fan surpassed my expectations specially when I bought it , on the low price ( Dane price as a normal tripod fan )
During the summer months this was a must and saved many uncomfortable hot nights!! Have recommended to friends
I think this is the best fan I have ever use. as usually I would have a fan on 24 seven Summer and winter but not this one and only 40wats. It cools down a room very quickly. but I do use two of them in the same room on the lowest level. I just can’t find a fault with this XPELAIR fans.

Wanted a tower fan to replace our existing pedestal fan, this one is perfect as it’s taller than most Tower fans so can stand on the floor rather than take up space on a table
Only 4 stars as the the plastic almost makes it feel cheap? Other than that, not very loud at all, usually sleep with it on the lowest setting as I prefer to have ambient noise going on, worked perfect for the British heatwave of 2021.
I have 4 of these fans in total, 3 in black and 1 in white. Love it as it doesn’t take up space.
This fan is brilliant. Easy to move around and perfect to keep you cool at night. You can use the timer feature to have it on for a short time or all night. Also rotates. Easy to set up. So good I brought two.
Every one seems to say theirs are lilac, mine is definitely white. The base is easy to attach. Good powerful fan, I can feel it across my bedroom (APX 14 feet) on the lowest setting, not too loud on setting one, I have no problem falling asleep with it o
Nothing bad to say about this fan, was worried it would be a bit rubbish as the stock images didn’t really fill me with confidence.
But it looks better in person and creates a strong breeze, good functionality as well and I really like the remote controls.
Bit early days to review it as I only got it yesterday.
When it arrived boxed up, the packaging looked challenging but it was easy to get the fan out of the box after I’d slit it down the side seam. You can’t push it through the bottom or top – it is packed too tightly. But once it was opened up and release the fan, you just slide the polystyrene down in two directions near each end to release the fan and wiring and then cut through the plastic wrapping. Easy peasy. Besides, there is instructions on how to get it out if you are unsure. I didn’t need to use them.
The fan was easy to assemble and the instructions are inside. All there is a fan, remote and base that needs attaching with four supplied screws. For the remote control, you first have to open up the back with a tiny screwdriver and insert the battery that is enclosed. There are no instructions on how to insert the battery. All you do, is just slip it under the metal clip. It bounces about a bit rather that staying seated in the cavity, but the plastic outer battery casing, once replaced, ensures the battery stays in place. Just secure with the same tiny screw.
It looks great, once erected. Just plug in and a blue light tells you it is on standby. When you operate, more blue lights come on on the dash plate. For some, this might prove problematic if you don’t want any lighting in a very dark room. I love it. When switched on, the air flow seems powerful enough and cools the room well, in what is now a moderately warm late summer. I don’t know what it is like on a very hot day though – the time you most need it. For most of the year it should be fine. I don’t find it too noisy either. Just a swish sound like natural breeze or light wind. There are no rattles and rumbles when placed in oscillation mode (although it is important to feed the wire under the base groove to prevent it being wobbly, otherwise it might rattle and roll about on what would otherwise be an uneven surface.
So far so good. For the price it is more than adequate and can see me using it a lot. It comes with a guarantee, which is good too. I expect it to last a year or two with regular use. If it lasts longer, I see that as more than adequate for a fan that costs less than 50.
Dimplex are a great brand. I have one of their electric fires, which has lasted me for over 20 years. That’s why I bought this brand again for this fan.
Could be more powerful but a great fan! Lots of different settings and good for the bedroom because of the height of the fan.

This fan is easy to assemble . great it has a remote control and a timer so will switch off after the set time. Not liking the sleep mode it’s far too noisy. Would recommend this fan.

Very happy with this fan. Unlike some of the other reviews, there was no issue with the colour. It is crisp and white. Other reviews have also said about the difficulty of taking it out of the packaging and yes, that was a nightmare but overall, really happy with it and would definitely recommend.
We have had one of these fans for a number of years now & they are great; so we bought another one for a different room in the house.
Remote is really handy & covers all the functions of the fan, it provided a well needed breeze on the hot days & nights; even though it has 3 fan speeds we find setting 1 is powerful enough. The height of the fan area is the best we have found for the money, if your sat down it covers head to toe (well ankle anyway). Easy to put together & slim design means it’s doesn’t take up too much room & easy to store away when not needed.
Two downsides:
1. Sleep & natural mode is annoying as it goes through different fan speeds, including off, but you don’t have to use them.
2. It’s not quiet, but what fan is unless you pay 300+ more a certain other brand! & We have had other fans that are louder & less powerful than this one.
We have a flat roof on our bedroom which makes the room very hot. This fan does the job of cooling down the room well. Some may find the control panel a little bright during the night, but I have no problem with it.
Looks great in a room, much better aesthetics than a large bladed fan. It is one of the taller towers ar 120cm, I bought it for this purpose so its not obscured by the side of the bed, sofa, tables etc. Nice neon display and adiditon of timer. Power is good and doesn’t sacrifice noise levels either. Stand could be a heavier to add stability, with an overall good build quality for 60. Would recommend at this price range for a good tower fan.
I particularly like how cooling the fan is. The remote control did not come with batteries so not yet used it and I have not used the timer function. I don’t like the sleep function as the noise varies making it difficult to sleep.
I would buy this fan again , it look attractive and is very slim so will fit in any environment.
Fabulous fan and very stable considering its slim appearance. Blends in well with furniture and very quiet. Good air blow at different speeds and can even have different air blows. Remote control works well. Highly recommend. Have not used sleep mode or timer function yet so cannot comment. But a nice addition if in your bedroom. Mine is in lounge at moment.
The fan itself is effective.
The plastic base comes separately and in two pieces which did not slot together evenly as they are meant to. The base has to be secured to the fan with four screws from underneath, which involves holding the fan horizontally – a very awkward manouevre! It is lightweight and therefore easy to move but also feels a bit top heavy. If purchasing again I would go for a slightly shorter version.
This is a really good fan I like it because the fan bit is higher than my mattress so it’s lovely on hot nights

If you’re looking for a good, tall, powerful tower fan, this is the one. It moves a great amount of air without being super loud & all the features work great. There’s a tonne of rubbish, cheap fans out there that aren’t worth the time or money, but this one is worth every penny & more.
fantastic fan for the price but when you order and pay for 8 of them you really want 8, only 7 were delivered and we have 8 classrooms so need the fans we ordered.
This fan is slimline and has some nice features on it (the remote is very handy) I love the fact it has a sleep function as we bought this for my son who has ecxema and getting of to sleep is hard this keeps him cool but can be set to go off after two or four hours which helps the electric bill 😉 my only niggle is its a little noisy but this doen’t seem to bother our son.
