I love this lead. I have a very temperamental 2-year old golden retriever (32 kg) and our walks are far better now. She does not like it a lot but it serves the purpose so I would say a good purchase.

This anti pull lead is the best purchase ever! We have a lively springer who constantly pulls when on the lead but not any more

I was recommended one of these leads to help with pulling on a foreign rescue dog. It makes a huge difference! No more pulling, no lunging, very little circling around me. The only problem I have is the discomfort of my dog rubbing her face on the back of my leg to try and get the lead off but hopefully she’ll get used to wearing it and stop doing this. Walks are much more pleasant now and I haven’t noticed the lead rubbing on her face, despite being quite chunky.

Where do I start it is quite hard to figure out how to put it on at first but does come with clear instructions and pictures to help with this! The delivery was super quick and works wonders on our 9 month cocker spaniel who loves the pull when on walks this helps stop her from pulling but so that she doesn’t choke herself

This lead was a life saver was struggling walking my lab as he pulled so much , tied many other makes such as the halti he would not wear it , however he doesn’t mind this one and it works . Also he had a injury and had to build muscle back up in his leg to prevent his knee cap popping out , as soon as I got this lead after a few days his knee stopped popping out as the lead help him walk at a better pace and stoped him from walking side to side . Highly recommend over others

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI have a 10st masstif I’ve struggled walking him due to pulling he recently snapped his collar off due to the strength of him. its such a dredded event. I did not have much faith in this lead, however instantly and I mean instantly felt the difference I felt confident and want to walk my dog. Best investment. No pulling at all

struggled to take our 14 month springer spaniel for a walk because he is so strong on a lead. With this lead he accepts over his nose, and walks really well. it just makes going for a walk together so much more enjoyable. the rope is a bit harsh on my hands (although I do have delicate skin) so I wear gloves – I would highly recommend this lead.

After being reccomended this lead by a friend for my extreamly hard pulling 40kg dog, after getting her used to it over a week, she now walks very politely with zero pulling, no pressure needed on the lead while walking, its been life changeing, something so simple, FANTASTIC

My dog doesn’t like wearing it but I would say too anyone that is at there wits end with their dog pulling like I was give this a try because within one or two walks I now look forward to going for a walk with him, even though he still isn’t too keen on it but it works

I’ve tried all sorts of different leads and harnesses and she still pulled like a horse and cart. The Halti head collar works but she hated wearing it and still pulled against me. This new lead which is simply a slip lead soft enough to figure of 8 it over her nose too is brilliant. She doesn’t pull at all and it doesn’t stop her sniffing and eating grass and all the other fun things on a walk

Transformational: the only one that’s worked

We have a very strong 7 month old Labrador. Becoming too strong for his harness, making our walks a bit of a mission and no longer enjoyable.
This rope is soft and comfortable for him, he does not pull me on the lead now, and is like a different dog. Still bouncing and excitable off the lead, but, perfectly calm when walking on it. Win wi

I bought this for my springer spaniel who doesn’t like being on a lead. This is easy to put on and will control him better than traditional type of lead as it stops him pulling. Although he tries at times to remove it with his paw, if it is not too slack it works well and stops walking him being a pain. All in all a good buy and I would not want to be without it now.

Arrived promptly. Have been using this now for quite a few months. Very easy to put on and does stop my dog pulling. Very effective and I would not do without it. However I have found that the loop slips round and instead of the loop connection sitting on the back of dogs neck, it slips round and ends up on dogs muzzle or under his chin. It does stay on though, just a matter of adjusting occasionally. I do still love this lead and will continue to use it.

I have a 14 month old Sprocker, he pulls like a train when on the lead even with so much training and tasty treats, we have used 6 different types of lead. Using this new lead has transformed him and our walking experience from the first walk has been excellent. He walks by our side and does not pull at all, I would recommend highly.

I have a 17 week old Gerberian Shepsky (GSD/Husky mix) and have tried several kinds of leads on her, and each time she has just pulled and pulled making it unenjoyable.
This arrived today, and after seeing the reviews I wanted to try it straight away.
Well I am mind blown! 30 minutes of walking and not once did she pull, I could’ve walked her using 1 finger, it was like she was a completely different dog…. Yes at times she made attempts to remove it, but I’m confident she will learn to accept it… As for me, I love it!

Great for controlling a pulley golden retriever. I didn’t want a lead that continuously stayed as a head harness as I know we need to teach no pulling and not just use a tool. Great for using setting off on walk or for my children to use. As soon as I feel my dogs less excited I can remove nose piece and use as a normal slip lead and slip back on when necessary. Tried halti and canny collar and she hated both but she is a drama queen, thuu oh s seems a happy medium as can take of if she’s behaving well.

I’ve been struggling with my rescue dog out on walks, pulling and lunging. He’s 25kg+ and pretty strong and this has made the experience unpleasant for both of us. This product has totally changed that. On his first walk he did initially try to work the lead off of his muzzle but with distraction and treats he soon got used to it. I’m still walking with a second lead attached to his harness until I’m sure he’s used it. He is much calmer, no pulling or lunging. Its actually a pleasure to walk him now and a much more relaxing experience.

We have a 30kg Labrador who is almost 2 year old and he pulled like mad on all the other leads and harnesses we tried.

Since purchasing this lead it’s like walking a different dog, and we can now go on nice family walks without ones arm getting pulled out of its socket! It’s amazing how nice our dog walks now and we never thought a simple lead like this would do the trick but it has!

Seriously for any dog owner that’s in the same boat as we was at the beginning then look no further. This lead will change your life and you’ll love dog walks again!

We tried to teach our spaniel to walk to heal everyday for a year with no prevail, she would pull like hell. We tried everything! Harnesses, leads, two leads. It was ridiculous. We were told to try this by a fellow spaniel owner at the park. She immediately started walking loose lead, she no longer pulls me along. She walks beautifully beside me, it’s a miracle.

After wasting hundreds of pounds on perfect fit harnesses, martingale collars, guaranteed not to pull harnesses, I bought this at next to no real cost and from the first outing with my dog wearing it it was bliss, an absolute pleasure to walk him. He knows after just a few walks that if he pulls, the lead tightens on his nose and he just doesn’t pull, he walks to my heel all the time. I wish i had saved myself months of heartache, pulling and issues and just got this lead from the get go. Buy it. Don’t overthink it, just get it!

I really like this lead , it has definitely made a big difference walking my 4 y/o Springer dog who used to take me to the park and pulled like a train. After purchasing a multitude of different collars including 1/2 choker and harnesses , this easy to use lead works great for me.
My only moan is that the safety clasp for collar attachment is far too small and fiddly for my chunky fingers!

Our dog is not keen on wearing any lead but this one appears to be relatively comfortable to wear.
Only used occasionally near roads or in busy public places as our dog is trained to be off lead most of the time.

Brilliant bit of kit that stopped pulling within 5 – 10 minutes of first putting it on the dog. We have a 6 month old Viszlador who used to pull harder than any dog we’ve ever had. We had tried the conventional Halti branded version which while doing the job, it didn’t do it anything like as well and putting the lead on was far more difficult. Should you decide that you want to revert back to a simple slip lead, simply remove the additional loop and you have a conventional lead. Great bit of kit, very well made and feels very robust.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI was sceptical about using this, however my Dalmatians behaviour instantly changes to more calm, no pulling or tugging instantly. Was previously advised to use a harness for Dug, however he used that to literally pull us everywhere. This gives you instant control. Takes a while to get it on, after letting him off for a run but we can work on that. Only dissapointing thing was the small clasp you connect to a colar to stop the rubber stop moving snapped, meaning if your not keeping an eye on your dog they can use their paws to pull the loop off around their nose, but to start with just use a half lead length so that they can feel you are in control. Would recommend and wish i had used this from the start which would help with putting it on before and at the end of walks.

    Immediately stopped my Dalmatian pulling

Better than a halti! Softer cotton, doesn’t pull under dogs eyes and helps to stop pulling, just dont have it too tight!

The only negative is he can shake himself out of the lead but it stops his pulling very effectively. My dog is reactive to other dogs, bikes and anything moving so I have another short lead around his neck he can’t get out of.

This is what I wanted sensible length and correct thickness. I have lost count on how many figure of 8 leads I have purchased they have all been far to short and some in addition either too thick or too thin and made of nylon so therefore uncomfortable for both the dog and walker.
Thank you for making a nice comfortable cotton lead which is also a perfect length and to top it off sensible price. Would not hesitate to purchase again.

Totally brilliant! My cocker hates it but it turns a walk into a walk without the battle! I would like a shorter one to clip onto an extending lead so she can run about but not pull my arm out of it’s socket!

I love my 4 year old Springer but he pulls like an ox and walking him on a lead is a mental and physical challenge.

Today was my first stress free lead walk since we have had him. I have been out in the snow and ice today and had no fear of an arm yank or being pulled over. He did try to paw it off but he will get used to it. I think he is more bothered about losing control of the pace!
As other reviews have mentioned, the clasp doesn’t seem strong enough to hold if it were needed but I have him on a back up lead too for now. Other than that I am very happy with the quality of this lead.

I bought this for my 9 month old Labrador. We have been training since day 1 but she still pulls on the lead whenever she sees something exciting ahead. She also uses to constantly try bite the lead so taking her out was becoming frustrating. From the first walk this figure of 8 lead has changed her behaviour. She walks in heel and doesn’t pull at all. If she tries to walk ahead a gentle flick of the wrist brings her back in-line. There is enough stretch that it’s not harsh when you have to pull and I can now control her with one finger rather than a constant tug-of-war with both hands. Having it over her nose also stops the lead biting. Would highly recommend!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I have a very over excited cocker spaniel who normally pulls like mad on his current harness, to the point it feels like your arm is going to pop out the socket. We have tried everything and nothing worked and this was my last ditch attempt and OMG! It’s completely transformed the way we walk, he doesn’t pull at all. To begin with he hated the lead and we had to distract him with treats but now he’s worn it a few times it doesn’t bother him. But for once in 3 years it’s actually me walking the dog rather than being dragged around! I was hesitant but so glad I went for it. Best dog related purchase ever!

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersWe have a 2 year old cocker who pulls like a freight train. I mean flat to the ground pulling with all her might from the second the lead goes on. She’s great off lead but bringing her anywhere a lead is required has been impossible. We’ve tried slip leads, harnesses, dog trainers. Everything. Even after months of following dog trainer advice, the best we can get is about 15 steps before she’s flat out pulling again. We’ve had this lead for 2 days and I could cry. She can’t pull anymore. Like, at all. Not even a little. She absolutely hates it to be fair and tries to pull it it off, but even after only 2 days shes getting more used to it and tries to pull it off less. Training her to tolerate the lead is proving 10000X easier than training her to walk on any other lead. I seriously cannot recommend highly enough.

I NEVER write reviews but felt like I had too! Tried so many things to stop our cocker spaniel from pulling. It got to the point where I just didn’t want to walk him and it was affecting our relationship. He is a lovely dog but just can not walk on a lead he constantly pulled and never seemed to learn despite lots of training. This lead is simply amazing ! It’s changed everything for us!!!! He hates it, tries to get it off and cries with it on as he knows he can’t pull. But he will get used to it and for now our walks are amazing and despite his being frustrated they are so much more enjoyable! Tried so many things – so genuinely Thankyou as this genuinely works!!!!

Honestly thought this wouldn’t work and would be a waste of money. But this video is from his very first go. At first he was trying to scratch it but after ten minutes he got used to it. He still has the occasional scratch. Before this he used to pull so so bad and I didn’t enjoy walks on the lead. I’m honestly amazed how well this has worked! Fully recommend and it was a pleasure to walk him.

After years of trying to find a solution to my large German wirehaired pointer pulling whenever on the lead (numerous different leads, harness’, haltis, and training), I stumbled across this. Wow, what a game changer. My dog weighs 40kg+ and doesn’t have an ounce of fat on him. He’s as strong as an ox and pulls so much in lead that it spoils walks. Yet, from the first time he wore this lead, all pulling stopped! It’s nothing short of miraculous! Yes, he tried to get it off the first few times, but quickly got used to it. Walking with him now is as it should be – enjoyable. Would definitely recommend – just wish I’d discovered it a few years ago!

Very happy with this product it’s been the only thing to stop our dog from pulling. We tried halty and a harness and both didn’t work but this did. Very simple product does the job perfectly and stops him from pulling! Got recommended off another dog owner. Love the olive colour we chose. He does have a scratch/bump from where the lead rubs on his nose which is a shame hoping to make it softer by washing it. We used a karabena clip to his collar ensure security for the times when he tries to get it off. The little hoop and clip that comes with it is very flimsy and wouldn’t trust it.

These have quite literally changed our lives, we’ve used harnesses, haltis, two leads on one harness, and nothing was working. Our dalmatian quite literally almost pulled my arm out of it’s socket…she’s also dog reactive. Since we’ve been using these we have so much more control and I’m no longer fighting against her on walks. I walk HER now! Really soft rope so doesn’t hurt the nose and soft on your hands. Could not recommend this enough.

We have a 2 year old Cocker crossed with a bichon who is very energetic and playful. We have tried almost every method to try and get her to walk loose lead to no avail.

We have heard about these from friends and recently saw a lady walking her dog with one. When we asked about it, the lady said it’s the only way she can walk him because he pulls so hard.

After slipping the lead on in the kitchen our dog initially didn’t like it and spent a while trying to pull it off with her paws. After 500 metres of walking she was at a canter next to us with the lead completely slack. This is an absolute life saver, my wife can now walk our dog with no pulling, reducing the discomfort and back problems. I can’t believe the difference, almost instantly. Problem solved!!

At last! We have a Dalmatian that since puppy has been allowed to run off the lead at the beach. He hardly ever walks on a lead…big mistake! He pulled so much if we ever had him on the lead. I had to stop walking him as I’m only 5ft 2 and have had back surgery…he can absolutely pull me over. Even my 6ft 2 partner said his arms and back were killing him! Jasper hated this halter the first time we put it on him, he flipped over and tried pawing it off his nose. It took 5 minutes for him to realise it was pointless! Walking him is a dream now, he knows there’s no way he can pull. It only took 2 walks for him to stop trying. He walks closer to our side and is very well behaved. Excellent solution…no behaviour classes needed!

The material is really soft and it is very easy to fit the added clip so that it can also be clipped to the collar is good however was too small to clip onto the metal ring on my dogs collar I instead have had to add an extra slimmer ring in order to use it. The instructions are easy to follow and this has helped improve my dogs walks as I am able to tell much quicker if the lead goes tight and then reset my dog to walking by my side on a loose lead again.

Like a lot of other reviewers, I am so glad I bought this lead. I have a 9 month-old Working Cocker – he is a great dog & fab off the lead, but he always pulled when on the lead. I tried everything – endless treats, stopping every time he pulled, 1 to 1 dog training…..you name it, I tried it, but nothing worked. It got the point where I really hated road walks, as nothing I tried worked and the pair of us ended up stressed every time we went out. However, since I bought this lead our lives have changed – he still pulls a little bit (but this is 5 or 10% of what he used to) but he is a lot more relaxed on the lead, and I am not having my arm pulled all of the time anymore – so we are both a lot happier. I would recommend this lead to anyone who has a dog that pulls.
