In addition to easy calling and messaging, this stylish feature phone enables you to use WhatsApp and Facebook over WiFi and high-speed 4G LTE networks. On top of that, our brand new Doro 7080 is Dual SIM, so if you wish you can have 2 SIM cards installed at the same time on the device.

SPEED DIALUse keys 0 and 2-9 to speed dial an assigned contact from standby. Press and hold the corresponding key to call that number. To add speed dial numbers:
Then select the next number (from 2-9) and repeat the same process. | RESPONSE BY DOROThe Response button alerts an unlimited number of family and friend ‘Responders’ simultaneously, when pressed, that the Doro user requires assistance and are shown his/her location. They can easily accept the alert and talk to the senior directly via a call which is automatically put on speakerphone for the Doro user. Responders simply need to download the app and set up the account inviting the Senior Doro user to connect with them. Within the Response by Doro app, users are also able to help manage settings such as screen brightness or call volume. | GPS POSITIONINGOnce you have set up the Response by Doro app, your instant position can be seen by your ‘responders’. 4G LTE NETWORKS
The Doro 7080 is compatible with 4G LTE networks which offers a fast and reliable connection. Note! It is compatible with 2G and 3G SIM cards as well but you can only take advantage of the 4G technology if you have a 4G SIM.
WI-FI
Use Wi-Fi to connect your phone to the Internet instead of the mobile network. To activate it:
- Press Menu > Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
- Set the switch to ON.

Allow other devices to share your phone’s Internet connection by connecting via USB cable, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi hotspot.

Ideal for older person who is not very tech savvy to set up. Large buttons good for stiff fingers. Battery life on standby is very good.
Bought for my father who is in his 80s and is very hard of hearing and he confirms that the sound quality is very good and he can hear callers with much greater clarity. The battery life is good and the layout of the phone is clear and simple to use. My father only uses the phone for calling and texting so this provides everything he needs but with a 4G compatible phone so no problems with using the phone in the future. The texting process has taken a bit of time to get used to but otherwise fine. We have received helpful assistance from the Doro team, who have sent full instructions and a 2 year guarantee, so a great phone and a good customer service experience too.
My husband had a smart phone but didn’t have the touch to be able to scroll etc so this phone really fits the bill.
This phone was bought for my husband who is deaf. The setting for hearing aid users does make the sound louder but it still is hard for my husband to make calls . It is neat to handle but I still have to do the texting

I had expected to be able to put my photos on to my computer ready to print. DISAPOINTED
This flip phone is easy to use as I suffer with Parkinsons and my tremors make touch screens difficult to operate.
Super little flip-up phone, the only negative is that it’s heavy but one assumes that all the weight is necessary for the longer-life battery and the extra screen on the outside.
After years of protests claiming, “Argh i don’t need that Internet thingy” he is loving the fact he can now video call the family and at 77 is finally learning how to surf the web on his new favourite thing.
The option of using the charging cradle is another great feature making it so much easier for him to charge his phone, no more fiddling with wires.
Another great feature he finds very useful is the closed phone display. Now he has constant easy access to the time and the date.
Lastly we would like to mention how sturdy and stylish this is.

I love the clear easy to read print on the screen , the easy to understand the basic , phone /messages/ etc the sound is clear and volume good . Getting my email on to it NOT so easy ,(still to be fully installed ) . Like the ring tones . Photo side not used yet. I have no need of lots of apps , so suits me very well .
Got it to replace the 6060 which I returned when I realised that 2G networks were about to be phased out ( vod and ee in 2025 )
It was bought as a backup to iphone – just to do calls to selected people.
Fairly easy to set up – I ignored the “apps”. If I wanted those I would just set a standard android with a long battery life and put on a “simplified ” skin.
Only comment so far is that it seems to be as user friendly as the 6060 but is a 4g device.
Battery life on standby after conditioning the battery with just a couple of charge- discharge cycles is about 3 days 100 to 25% – connected to 4g. Would have preferred longer but it has a smallish battery and it is on 4g not 2g.
Edit now lasting 6-7 days on standby from full to 25% do maybe 8 days battery life – pretty good
Bought this phone as a present for an 80 yr old. He took a little while getting use to it but now he thinks it’s great.
Bought for partner as she will only have a clamshell phone, finds it difficult to text as she has great difficulty with predicted text and can only switch of when you are messaging the comes back on for next message, she will not text.
To delete Predictive Text, go to Settings>System>Languages and Input>Predictive Text disabled by pressing OK.
Bought for elderly woman. She finds it very easy to use. Especially when answering on opening the phone and ending call by closing it.
