Nice strong construction feels solid in the hand, quiet and easy to handle.
Bought it for small jobs. Never had a nailer/stapler before. Made my jobs much easier. The machine itself has not failed once, must have used it for good few hundred times (for both nailing and stapling). No jams, no misfiring. Battery life is good for my purpose (for me it is a hobby, not profession), a charge last good many nails. (Battery has not ran out during use so far, but I recharge it after each use). I like that you can adjust the pressure to imbed the nail or leave the head out (in case it is used for temporary hold, and you want to take them out afterwards).
Having returned a cheaper item, this product was only 50% more, but performs 100% better. Has adjustment for how much you might wish to protrude. Takes longer nails, enhanced safety features and stops firing when empty.
Worth paying the extra.
Yes you have to get used to the pressure you press, and the setting, but it’s given me great results with hard wood and soft, as well as ply.
I’m very happy I bought this as it’s helped in the workshop A LOT
Great value for your money, a great tool and battery lasts well.
Been after an affordable 18 gauge nail gun for a while now that doesn’t require a compressor or even mains to operate. Didn’t want to spend a fortune on a dewalt or the likes of as I don’t do this type of work for a living. Found this Draper on Amazon which suits all my needs and at a price I wanted to pay, very happy at moment with purchase which I tried out on some scap wood I had in workshop. Will fire up to 50mm nails and 40mm staples. you can also adjust the firing depth at front of gun. You also have the option of single fire or contact firing. Build quality is very good and it comes with it’s own storage case. Not been using it alot just yet as the job I got it for I don’t start for a couple of weeks so not sure of reliability but time will tell.
It does what it says.. I have had no problems with this product.
Good solid bit of ki
I’ve only had this Draper machine a few days, initial use it feels substantial and fires the staples nicely flush with the surface. I am making fencing and I am impressed with the grip strength of the type 90 40mm staples. I am looking forward to completing my fence knowing the strength these staples bring. Yes, the machine is not light but it feels well made. Time will tell and I will update my review after more use.
Great bit of kit just used it to put new weather boarding on my shed no matter how close to the edge you get it never splits the timber like nails do
