This I bought for the bedroom to replace 2 pedestal fans.
I had a bad experience with a remote control fan some time ago, but this is now the 3rd one i’ve bought which actually works (so far).
Short version, never pay less than 60 for a remote control fan.
Powerful? Full blast yes, setting 1 – great for at night in winter (i’m that sort of age).
I HAVE looked at the modes, for me on or off and speed / oscilate are just fine; with the remote I can stay in bed and change my mind; handy when you’re not that mobile.
VERY small footprint – a square foot and easy to dustcover – just stitch a microfibre towel into a tube – i’m using a 1400 x 700 mm – roughly 55″ x 27 1/2″.
The sweep is quite wide too – unusually so for a tower fan and of course no blades so quiet, just a whoosh of air.
Now I ely on my HEPA filter for white noise to help me sleep :).
I got my fan for 71.99 – delivered by DPD – after Christmas so the regular brilliant driver.
ERRATA –
Comes in its own box which is bulky and protective enough, Soundbar type packaging – two foam ends and TWO foam sliders, everything else taped to these and the plastic bag the fan is in.
ONLY caution setting up: be careful slotting the base together – put the power cable through the right way 1st.
Nice little slot to store the remote when not in use, so when the dust cover’s on that’s where it lives.
I have a keyboard blower and handvac – hopefully they’ll do the job cleaning but I use a HEPA filer too so should reduce dust buildup.
If you can, buy it – it should be a sound investment.
You can download & print the booklet on A4 – I did and it helped me choose THIS fan; the booklet supplied is TINY.
A very powerful fan it’s quite on 1-2 and has a decent amount of air flow
on higher levels it’s not sleeping quite however it’s the quietest I’ve brought & tbh 1 is powerful enough.
I like the base not having screws & fitting solid as many others screws either don’t hold the fan or start to wobble after a time. Sleep modes a bit naff as it’s no quieter,the remote won’t work unless nothing is blocking & the timer is a basic 12hr timer that said as above it’s quite powerful & seems to be well built. It is a tall model. If I had to rate it I’d give it 4/5

Easy to set up.
Even on the lowest setting it is powerful. I wouldn’t say it is whisper quiet but it is the quietest fan I have owned, and I can sleep with it.
The fact that there is no light when you have it in night mode is a winner.
I like the timer function and different modes and flexibility it has got, it has a slim size fits in all the corners, looks nice and works well. Would recommend even it is a bit expensive.
I looked at the reviews and thought I’d give it a try. So good. It’s powerful, the remote control is great, led light goes off which is great for night time and is also nice and tall. So happy with this and glad I got it!!!!!
The Dreo fan is a breath of fresh air. Extremely easy to set up, whisper quiet and great air flow. Very pleased with purchase and will be getting a 2nd for my children’s room

So, I bought this on the build up to the Summer Heatwave that occured (2022)
It is very powerful, and honestly, kept me sane during the heat.
My room is in the attic, and so, all the heat rises to this room and gets trapped in the room.
But, thankfully, this was powerful enough to keep me reeeeeeeeeelatively cool.
And allowed me to get to sleep at night.
What a great fan! Quiet and great cooling effect that no sooner had we bought one, we bought another! Kept our kids’ bedrooms nice and cool over hot summer nights. Can highly recommend.
We used this fan for our hot bedroom in the incredible heat we’ve all experienced this summer. Excellent and very effective oscillator and very useful timer allowed me to fall to sleep knowing it would automatically turn itself off. Larger than we’d anticipated but so effective.

Amazing fan! It was bigger than I expected, but did an amazing job of keeping a large room cool during the heatwave this summer. Not at all noisy, and very powerful. I found it also was very useful when working out in the house. It’s fairly lightweight so can be moved easily, and blasting the fan in your face as you work out really keeps you cool during a workout!

It’s really been worth It’s weight in gold through this hot summer. Even on 1 setting it reaches as far as 7m. On high setting it is really strong. Looks good. Really pleased with it!
After suffering the extremely hot weather in July we decided that a fan was required when the next prolonged heat wave was forecast. A friends son recommended the Dreo. I researched it thoroughly and I am so happy with the choice. It was delivered within two days of placing the order. Very clear, easy to follow instructions.
It has six speeds, we found one was ample. Very quiet at this speed obviously more noise as speeds increase, but we’ll within limits. The 90 degree oscillation is a must, any less wouldn’t cover the whole room. We survived the heat wave in comfort thanks to the Dreo. I would certainly recommend this fan to anyone who struggles with this extreme weather.

I gave Dyson fans which are much smaller they are 4 times the price . I guess time will tell on longevity and reliability. So far very impressed . Our local school bought 8 of them so we have a lot on test!
Quiet yet powerful evn on its lowest setting I can sleep with it on , the timer is handy very tall and hits the right spots , weather turned cooler but I’ve left it out looks like a nice peice of furniture or a tower speake

We bought this tower fan to provide air movement during the recent heatwave and it proved well worthwhile, powerful draught in higher settings and the oscillation is vey effective, super easy remote control operation and small plan size makes it easy to store. The six speed setting is better than most and it came with a free 5 year guarantee!
This is a really great fan, it is not noisy and it cools the room beautifully. The only reason that I have not given it 5 stars is because the little icons that control it, the on off button, the swivel button, sleep button etc are wearing off, they are obviously only printed on and after only 3 weeks have almost disappeared. But the fan itself is really good!
Always the sceptic when it comes to buying similar products at various prices. It took me days to finally select this fan and it was down to the star rating and reviews.
So now it only seems fair to add to those glowing reports and five star awards. IT IS WONDERFUL! Quiet, powerful and cooling. Even on the lowest setting it blows cool air effectively across the room. On the highest setting you could probably practice wind surfing or kite flying. I haven’t tried all the features yet, but it’s basic function of being a fan to keep cool in this stifling heat works over and above expectations.
You have 1 -6 speed and even at 6 it is not loud. Would definitely recommend it.
The remote control is really handy especially if you’re in bed and need to adjust something like the speed or the angle of the fan. You can turn off the beep sounds the remote makes with a mute button on it. There’s also controls on the fan base so if you misplace the remote it’s still useable. I’d say it’s not silent on its highest speed but if you’re going to sleep you might want it on a lower setting anyway as it’s quite powerful. I don’t mind the fan noise as it blocks out noise outside when I’m sleeping for night work. It’s easy to set up the base for it to stand on don’t be put off it slots together easily just follow the instructions. I’m very pleased with mine.
I was on the cusp of falling into the trap of thinking only a Dyson blade was worth buying, so rather than rush it I took my time. Having been in a room with the large Dyson Blade fan at someone house I came away thinking it looked nice but left me wondering how on earth they ask 500 for it.
This tower fan looks lovely and is extremely stable. Most of the time in out 4×6 metre room it is only on number one setting. During this week’s very hot weather we increased to number two. The tower moves across an excellent spread of the room, cooling the dogs on the sofa aand then round to us in our own chairs. For under 100 we are absolutely delighted, can’t praise it enough to be truthful.
This has been my saving grace during the heatwave, I couldn’t recommend enough!
Bought this to help with sleep in the odd week in the UK is hot and it has really helped. Various functions and fan levels- sleep function works a treat.
This is a god-send, super quiet on low settings, use the sleep mode all the time during this hot weather. Have not had a bad night during the extreme heat of this summer.
Great fan and very quiet compared to traditional type fans. Base plastic feels a bit flimsy and weak but is fine currently, I suspect with to much heavy handed manoeuvring it would break easily, would be nice if the base was more weighted and substantial. Overall though, recommend
I bought two of these fans, one for the large open plan kitchen/utility/lounge area and one for my large bedroom. They arrived quickly and were easy to assemble and there were clear instructions included as to how to use the various functions. I got them just before the first heatwave and they certainly did help circulate the air around two large areas. Setting the timer and sleep functions was also easy and effective. They were a bit more expensive than I would have liked but definitely worth the money 🙂

As others had previously commented even on sleep mode the fan isn’t as quiet as I thought it would be. But you do get used to it and a lot quieter than any of the other settings and previous fans I’ve had.
The remote control is really practical and couldn’t go for a fan without one now.
It has been a life saver in the evenings with the hotter weather and really cools the room down.
Best tower fan – and we have two other ones. This fan actually delivers cold, refreshing air, leaving you feeling very comfortable and relax. Many functions including six fan speed. Less noisy than other tower fans. Definitely would recommend.
This is a great fan, a bit expensive but definitely worth it. The air is reallyyyy nice and cold, I had it pointed right at my desk during the 40* heat wave this summer, and I actually got cold and had to turn it down! And this was the only fan in the room so needless to say it works really well. It’s a bit quieter than my previous tower fans (which weren’t blade-less like this one) although this still isn’t completely silent. That said, I don’t really notice the sound. Love that the screen turns off after a few seconds, that’s essential when trying to sleep!

We purchased this about a month ago to keep us cooler in bed during the recent hot spell. It works really well and even on the lowest power setting kept us cool. So much so that we found as the night got cooler we would pull a sheet over. It is very quiet on the lower levels and it is great that you can turn off the bleeping and LED display at night. The remote works well so no need to get out of bed to turn up and down or off and on. Overall a good purchase.
I did a lot of research and read through loads of reviews before buying this fan, as the johnlewis fan I wanted had gone out of stock before I could order for our second bedroom.
The fan did not arrive on time and ended up purchasing another fan and both of them ended up being delivered same day.
So I had two new fans plus my fairly new john lewis fan to carry out a fair comparison.
Style: very stylish and looks beautiful in the bedroom.
Weight: not too heavy, easy to move around but would have loved it was a bit heavy and sturdy so small kids won’t knock it over
Effectiveness: better than the John Lewis and the other brand in terms of wind power even at the lowest level, has 6 speed settings.
Functionality: remote was a good advantage and it came with a battery. Easy to operate even without the manual.
Night time Function turns out the LED light and key sounds, the full body rotates at around 90 degree with a good coverage, has a timer function which is quite handy.
Packaging: well packaged, easy to put together unlike the other fan.
Value for money: Good value for money I would say, after buying other brands at 20 more , I would take this over the john lewis brand. I had to return the other fan ( a similar looking homcom brand which sounded like a rocket engine with a very plastic feel, so flimsy that I won’t even pay 50 for it )

Can’t recommend this fan any more especially if looking for one for your bedroom. Customer service is great we had one with a slight noise and company Sent a replacement without a quibble.
We got this fan late in June little did we know that the mother of all heatwaves was just around the corner. This guy helped. But I’d use something that cools off we face that kind of end times heat again.
This fan is brilliant, can’t believe how powerful and cool it is just on number 1 and so quiet as well. The only negative is that it has a fairly short lead.but that’s just a minor thing really. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

The cost isn’t insignificant but I’m so glad I made the investment in this fan.
Even on the lowest setting, it still sends out a lovely breeze virtually silently and certainly quiet enough to sleep. A god send in the recent heatwave. The remote control function is obviously convenient.
Zero issues (as some have reviewed) with ‘clunking’ or any other noise when on oscillate mode. I can only assume an error’s been made by the users during assembly which is no fault of the product; although even that’s a doddle with no tools needed.
The extended 5yr warranty is a bonus and pretty straightforward to register.
Thoroughly recommended.
This is a really efficient fan in this UK heatwave. It cools off the room really well and does not make too much noise. My sleep never gets disturbed. It has multiple modes, a useful timer function and your plus broad rotation coverage. The remote control is an additional bonus. I got the fan for a discounted price so it was really worth it.
These are very good quality products, they look good, the air flow/pressure is very good, the remote control is very simple and easy to use. I haven’t used them in sleep mode or timer mode (so can’t comment on these functions) but I can see that both features are available and look easy to use from the remote control (i just haven’t need to use timer or sleep yet). I purchased them because they look nice enough to just leave out all year rather than having to store away through the winter months, they don’t take up much space (in a corner) and look very great. Having a good remote control near to hand is ideal.
Very powerful tower fan that produces cold air even on the hottest days. Comes with a remote control so you don’t even have to move! My bunnies love it.
Quiet yet effective, a great fan! I sleep with it every night all night and it’s a lifesaver being a heavily pregnant lady in this heatwave! My only criticism would be that the remote should light up when you use it because you have to turn the lights on during the night to see which button you’re pressing!
This product is absolutely fantastic! Definitely worth the money, I have recommended this fan to so many friends & family because it is so much better than any other tower fans I’ve had before. It’s blade-less so i have find it to be much quieter. It has been a HUGE help coping with the extreme temperatures that we’ve been experiencing this summer! Easy to use and takes up far less space that an oscillating fan – also quieter.
Simple to assemble using wing nuts so no screwdriver required …..2 minutes and it was up and running.
One week in and it a top notch towerfan as the fan unit is 80% off the whole fan so many now are all plastic but no fan. Tower is super quiet for downstairs when then the TV’s on and it a dream working overnight for sleeping…..don’t know long term but would not hesitate to recommend the brand …..ps …..register direct with manufacturer and they extend the guarantee to 5 year’s FOC !
I am very impressed.
It is a bit chunkier than the fan I’ve currently got and won’t fit in that space but it performs so well that I’ll just have to find another space for it.
Some reviews suggest it’s very noisy when it oscillates. Don’t know if this is the case as I never use or need that option.
Obviously just got it so don’t know how it will stand up in regard to longevity.
Currently however am very pleased and would happily recommend.
The only downside is the price which I think is a bit expensive at 81 but I note this appears to be the case for all fans of this type.
I do note it is now retailing at 50 more than I paid for it which is in my opinion just greed. Fine if you need it or like spending over the odds but I’d advise to wait for it to come down to a more acceptable price.
We wanted a tower fan for the bedroom so moved an existing one upstairs and replaced it with this. Much taller, much more powerful and frankly one of the best things I’ve ever bought from Amazon and I’ve bought some crap. Currently on setting 1 and about 8ft away, if I had any hair on my head it would be flowing backwards. Superb fan, highly recommended. Fair height to it and the base is sturdy enough for it, good solid fan and glad we spent a bit extra on it.
I have been buying different fans each year because nothing can keep me cool, I wasn’t willing to pay a fortune for a dyson one.
However this fan is amazing! It’s so powerful, I haven’t yet had to put it on full speed. It’s also very quiet. Assembly wasn’t to bad, just a few bits to put together.

Loved the style and functions on the fan. I ordered it Friday, arrived Monday. Easy to assemble and up and running in 5 minutes.
It is situated across the room from me and the breeze is lovely, so comfortable at night too. Quiet enough and doesn’t affect ability to sleep. Remote useful especially at night.
Very pleased so far, can’t find any faults. Not tested the time function so not able to rate it as yet.
So far I’m really pleased with this fan. It’s neat appearance doesn’t dominate the space in a room. It cools the room quickly with the oscillation function or more often, one person in particular when oscillation is stopped to point at them (and not me).
The fan is quieter than most I’ve had in the past so doesn’t drown out other noises, tv, or conversation.
Assembly of the base was easy. Delivered was fast. I have no complaints which is a relief because it’s certainly a lot more expensive than I’d normally splash out on such an item but with me being so poorly I wanted to make sure I didn’t have hassle from a fan. I took a gamble on getting what you pay for. Not had it very long so still hoping it doesn’t disappoint.

Ok so it just arrived this morning and I am SO glad I chose to buy this one, I read reviews, I looked at a million fans, got ‘fan blind’ and decided to go with this one. It really is great, I’m sitting here chillin’, it has different modes, swivel, still, you name it It’s got it… AND AND you don’t even have to get up to change the settings!! You can be 100% lazy if you so wish.
Its not even noisy!! Doesn’t sound like it’s gonna take off. I’ll be back to update this review after a while of using it but I was so excited I had to write this. If in doubt, just buy it 🙂

Cons: the power cable is a bit short (about 1.4m, would like to have 2 or 3 meters), I found the Oscillation coverage is smaller than my pedestal fans, price is double of my pedestal fans
So far like it and prefer this more than pedestal fan although it is more expensive.

Having purchased loads of various fans in the past and never being happy with them I was a bit skeptical but I must admit I couldn’t be happier, the fan is so quit and powerful better than any other I have had.
My last fan (regular bladed) was too noisy when on work calls etc and having an office that get sun from around midday to sunset, I needed a fan. I can have this on in the background and it doesn’t disturb my calls etc, I even end up turning it down not because of noise, but because of the force of air hitting me.
It is on the large “ish” side, but if it’s tucked in the corner, it’s less intrusive that my old traditional fan so actually takes up less space.
I love the remote control which works perfectly when using it in a bedroom and the sleepmode is also useful. I’m actually considering getting another so I don’t have to take this one out of my office to the bedroom.
had this fan a few days now, and even on level 1 of 6 the fan is pumping out strongly, very impressive well worth the dosh. you get what you pay for.

Very good overall, quiet and powerful. It’s just still a bit pricey for a fan imo but it’s still relatively good value.
The assembly instructions were easy to follow and took less than 3 minutes. Having tested all features on the fan, it is very powerful and quiet which are the two points I like most.
There is a timer select, which allows a timer to be set between 1-12 hours. There is also three key modes:
1) Normal mode – this is standard function and blows a constant stream of air.
2) Natural mode – this blows in intermittent patterns to give a more natural feel with higher and lower tempos of air.
3) Sleep mode – this is a quieter mode with a constant stream of air.
You can select a quieter function without putting it in sleep mode, but I have to admit I didn’t notice much difference (but this didn’t matter to me).
There is also a spinning mode select which allows the fan to oscillate. There is a great width on the oscillation which provides ample cover for any main living area.
I have includes a picture in my living room to show the scale of the fan in a normal setting and a video of the power settings and oscillation.
All in all, an excellent tower fan, I would highly recommend, it comes with a remote control which can apply all settings also.

Looks smart. The remote is very handy and all the different settings work really well. Sleep mode is great and it’s not too noisy, you hear air noise but it isn’t noticeable.

Had the fan for a few months now and it is great. Very light so easy to move around. We use it every night and the noise isn’t too loud. Hoping it will stay quiet and not go creaky!

I bought this fan for my lounge although the weather hasn’t been warm enough to use it yet!
I mention ‘lounge’ because I will not be using either the sleep or timer modes (I have a bedroom ceiling fan).
I was nearly put off buying because of reviews. The fan was well packaged on delivery, put together easily and I can still watch tv with the fan when tested on full power. It looks smart too. It’s taller than I imagined although doesn’t take up much room at all.
Wanted a bladeless fan as they’re quieter than normal oscillating fans. I wasn’t disappointed.
This is a great fan, about 1.2m tall but lightweight, with a hand grip point at the back so easy to pick up.
It’s perfect for me as a menopausal woman.. I can put it on at night and it won’t wake my husband up.

A very, very good fan. Super quite but super powerful, have always used traditional fans but won’t go back after this one. The remote is an excellent touch and it isn’t one of those really cheap ones that you have to press very hard. Everything is great quality, with a 5 year warranty, well done!
He says it’s amazing and helps him sleep. He says the sleep mode is so silent he can’t even notice it’s on! And the other modes are super quiet too. The highest fan mode does make some noise, but even with this, he says it actually acts as a white noise machine and helps him drift off!!!!!!
Also, the control panel lights go off in seconds once you’ve changed the setting so no annoying lights keeping you awake.

It didn’t seem much at first while ordering but when I unboxed it, I realized what a premium quality material it is made of. The design is very minimal space taking, and very easy to assemble. The machine operates with very low noise and almost no noise in sleep mode. A perfect tool for this summer.

At 1.05 meters tall it doesn’t sound big – but it is quite imposing once standing by the bed. Definitely much taller than my old tower fan. That said, it doesn’t dominate the room and takes up much less floor space than a traditional circular fan.
The big questions with fans though are: How noisy are they and how much air do the generate?
The air is circulated through the front grill only. The side and rear grills for intake and ventilation.
Even on a low to mid setting it is quite powerful. Way better than my old tower fan. At full speed it would keep the Devil cool. Plenty for a UK summer.

This can be a pretty subjective matter.
The video was shot sat on the bed next to the fan. I was pleasantly surprised and how low the sound was, even though I have a tower fan already and know how quiet they can be.
That’s not to say they are silent. Not by any means. But you cannot hear any moving parts. No cranking noises as the carriage oscillates – only the sound of moving air.
Both the wife and myself find this quite soothing. The same as we find rain belting on our windows in the night soothing.
Definitely quieter than a rotary fan giving out the same amount of breeze.
On the lowest setting it is really quiet, yet still providing a good degree of air movement and cooling. Impressive!
It comes with a remote control so you can easily operate it without getting out of bed. This is very simple to use and operate.
Functions are really simple.
Speed of the fan, or power, steps from 1 to 6 at the touch of a button.
Oscillation is either on or off at the touch of a button.
It has a timer function. Set it from 1 to 12 hours and it will turn the fan off after the required duration.
It has three modes:
Auto – this will adjust the speed of the fan depending on the temperature in the room. Great for maintaining a balanced temperature throughout the night.
Natural – which tries to mimic being outside and varies the airflow to emulate nature itself.
Sleep – this steps down the power every hour to the lower setting.
This is a very competitively priced, well made and good looking addition to our house. In plenty of time for the summer heat (hopefully coming soon!)

This fan is sleek, not too big, easy to put together (no tools needed) and honestly is a dream.
Instantly the air cooling is a million times better then a conventional fan, it has made modes and the power behind the breeze is outstanding!
I honestly cannot recommend this highly enough. It comes with a remote and a free 5 year warranty too so definitely worth the investment as will last for years! Honestly how I survived with a table top conventional fan for all these years now I’ve met the Dreo is a mystery!

I have this set up in my home office and it is absolutely awesome to be able to control the unit using the remote control without getting up from my desk. The tower fan has an attractive and easy to use control panel on the front, but I’ve been using it exclusively with the remote which duplicates those controls and also has a mute button to turn off the unit’s beeping in response to the remote.
Who’d have thought there was more than one way for a fan to work? This Dreo Tower Fan has four programs – the standard “always on” with 6 speeds from breeze to gale force. Natural Mode mimics being outside in a breeze/wind as it changes the speed of the “wind” smoothly. Sleep Mode is a work of genius which decreases in speed every half an hour until it settles on the bottom level. Ideal for hot nights.
Finally, we have Auto mode which adapts to the temperature in the room.
Putting the unit together is simple enough, and its secured with thumbscrews in the bottom. It’s made of shiny black plastic and has enough weight to be secure while being light enough to move around.
I’m absolutely delighted with this tower fan – it’s going to be used constantly during the summer. Hopefully.
The fan required a little self-assembly. The instruction leaflet is very straightforward. I made the mistake of ignoring the leaflet so I began by putting two pieces of plastic together without having threaded the power cord through first – this meant that I had to deconstruct it and start all over again. So I recommend taking a quick look at the assembly instructions.
After reading the instructions on assembly, it only took me about 4 or 5 minutes to put everything together. In the first photo I uploaded, you can see that there are four small wing screws that need to be inserted and tightened by hand.
Once assembled, the tower feels fairly sturdy. But it could easily get knocked over by a small child, so don’t assume that the base will support it if you have a toddler running around.
The second photo I uploaded is a close-up of the control panel and display. Again, a quick glance at the instruction manual is useful. The icons on the display make good sense after having looked at the instructions, but they might not make sense if you try to figure them out by yourself.
The fan rotates and the base feels secure. The fan produces great air flow so will do a good job of cooling us down when we’re working out in the lounge at home or when we’re sleeping at night.
The remote control is fairly intuitive. The remote control is performing as expected – and I can see this being particularly handy at night when I’m in bed and don’t want to have to walk over to the fan.
Overall, I’m pleased with this fan. It feels sturdy. It produces good air flow. It has a handful of useful features. I can’t really think of any way it could be improved.
