As I am a coffee drinker I use this all the time
Excellent machine – it’s not the cheapest but you get what you pay fo
Loving this. Can stream more milk at a time, quicker too, easy to clean. Love i
Absolutely fantastic, I can now make coffee shop style drinks: latte, hot chocolate, matcha latte etc with hot frothy milk. I found it a little temperamental to get working as I hadn’t clicked the water tank in correctly. But once I had, it’s super easy to use. Don’t hesitate to buy!
Delighted with this machine so far. We’ve always had the electric milk frother jugs but they don’t make enough for even two lattes & don’t last more than a year or two & sometimes just a matter of a few months. This is quite an outlay to start with but hoping it’ll last a lot longer & we didn’t want a combined coffee maker/frother. We’ve already gone through four jugs in about 4 years.
Great little steamer use it along side my old Gaggia Platinum plus. To serve coffees in an Artist Gallery and Tea Room.
So far no problems and has increased output and capacity by a mile.
Really good takes a while to warm up In cold temp but amazing would buy again for small cafe
Most excellent
Lots of froth quick
Added to my speed of coffee making
I’ve tried lots of the milk frothers that heat and whip the milk, but they never do enough milk for several coffees at once when I have guests and I so I decided to try this as a more traditional way of doing it. Wow, this steamer is powerful. It heats up really quickly when turned on and will foam a full large jug of milk in seconds. I need to practice as even with the thermometer it’s easy to overheat it, but this is as powerful as any commercial steamer I’ve seen. Very impressed.
Used this as the steam spout on my Smegg coffee maker is too short. Found it has twice the power as well.
Great machine- just as expected, let the latte art begin!!!
I liked this produce really makes the best steamed milk
Easy to use and first assemble, just follow instructions.
Wornks flawlessly.
As the owners of a small mobile cafe, we were unable to purchase a large commercial coffee machine because we simply did not have room in our converted horse trailer to house it. So instead we bought 2 small
Gaggia classic coffee machines with the intention of making espresso on one and foaming milk on the other. The former works brilliantly, but we found that the latter was taking far too long to foam milk and it was a labourious task to do it, especially when we were busy. So instead I researched machines specifically designed to foam milk at a reasonable price and that would cope with large volume (50-100) cups a day. We decided to purchase the Dualit Cino based on great reviews and also the fact that it seemed to be the only machine available to buy that serves our intended purpose.
I was immediately impressed with the standard of milk foaming, the speed in which it heats the milk and the ease of use. This is an exceptional machine at a brilliant price and I cannot recommend it enough for domestic or light commercial use. By far our best purchase so far for our mobile cafe and I would even consider buying another.
Exactly what I needed to be able to make lattes at home
This is a great, professional grade milk steamer, well built and powerful. Great for making barista style coffees
What a f*****g machine it’s wonderful, now I just needs a cow for plenty of milk
Love it!!! I have it for over 3 years now and we use it every day – to be honest, I can’t live without it, it’s that good. Absolutely briliant! Works every time, as long as it has water it will just steam and steam and steam. Highly recommended!
Wanted a milk steamer as opposed to frother and don’t drink coffee so was glad to find this steamer on its own without a coffee machine. Size is fairly compact and simple to use. Only have to descale every 3 months depending on usage. Makes lovely hot chocolates and warm milk for the baby ( the reason I wanted a steamer) and faster than heating milk in a pan, as it’s steam the milk jug is very easy to clean as opposed to washing burnt milk sometimes off a pan.
When guests want cappuccino and lattes I just make the coffee with instant from the kettle then add the steamed milk, non of my peers are fussy coffee connoisseurs so they love it.
Only downfall would be the float in the water tank. Sometimes the float goes the the left or right so the steamer stops, thinking it’s out of water. Annoying having to pour some water out, to re position float and to top up again, never had this problem until after it’s third descale. Did try to work out if there’s a sensor where the float gets detected, so tried to put my hand down but machine only seems to detect the float to judge the water levels, don’t think it’s magnetic, can’t suss it out so definitely don’t loose the float!
Excellent – just what I needed for my large flat soy whites!
I don’t know how I have managed before I had this machine it is marvellous for my small cafe. Most of our drinks are made with hot water but since having the steamer we are selling more milky drinks.
Well, so far, so good. I was after a milk steamer – NOT a frother as they never heat it or froth it enough and don’t normally hold enough milk. So unless you spend 000’s on a professional coffee machine, there isn’t much else on the market that does the job. I did have a Kitchaid Artisan Expresso+Steamer but after 3 replacements in the first 3 years, I gave up with these. (The steamer packed up and getting a warrenty repair/replacement took months). My trusty coffee pod machine does the job for coffee, so just needed a milk steamer for latte/cappuccino. The pulsing pump noise mentioned in a couple of other reviews is really no big deal – just background noise. The steam is available very quickly and never runs out (until the the water does). It turns off easily without dripping. Only had it a day or two, so we will see whether leakage or electric trips reported in some reviews start to appear. My only minor grips is that the 1l tank is not huge but at least it’s easy to get at to refill.
Update after 3 years… gets used multiple times every day and still going strong without issues. I do have softened water and do descale occasionally anyway, which may help. All in all, it was a real star of a machine during the covid19 lock down.
Wow! Milk foam just as expected at professional coffee shop
realy great price very fast delievry
Thanks !!
Really good machine! The froth it produces is smooth and thick. Also able to do coffee art.
This steamer is more powerful than the one that came with my other home coffee machine, but having had it now for six months, I have still been unable to produce consistent Latte Art despite spending a fortune on stainless jugs and working really hard at it. I have used a 6.5kW commercial coffe machine with steamer to do latte art, but it is a world apart from this product, it has four steam jets on the tip instead of the one steam jet this machine has, and it can take a 250ml jug from cold to 70C in a few seconds whereas this machine takes maybe a minute. I was talking to a guy who sells professional machines, and I said I want a home steamer with a tank so I can make coffe shop quality late art for use with my home Nespresso capsule machine which gives i think coffee shop quality expresso shots. But he said in his opinion its not really possible, the smallest pro machines are rated at 3KW and have lots of expensive technology, and need expensive servicing, and do not just switch on and off effortlessly, e.g. so you knock out a cup for breakfast instead of leaving it on all day.
So what can I say? With this machine you get proper foam for your nespresso machine instead of using e.g. that silly frother with the spinning widget, and your friends will be amazed at the quality of your lattes especially if like me you mix 33% double cream into 66% full fat milk and use two or three Arpeggio capsules per cup. But don’t expect them to wow them with your latte art hearts and ferns etc, it just won’t happen for you, and don’t waste your life trying like i did.
Other comments: Descaling? I do mine outside and leave it going crazy till it gets through a bottle of undiluted descaler. I have hard water, after a few weeks it gums up completly and no steam comes out just dribbles of hot water.
Chances are if you’re looking at this then you’re tired of your home espresso machine’s steamer function.
This machine will easily produce latte art quality microfoam milk. Warms up in about a minute. Steam is powerful and consistent.
Even when used with capsules from a nespresso / lavazza machine, the texture and quality of the milky coffee drink is excellent.
Highly recommended.
