After having owned several well known brand toasters, and basically complaining to my long suffering wife about their shortcomings, I finally bit the the bullet and bought a Dualit toaster! It met all my expectations and it really is the best toaster I have owned, not cheap but top quality.

    Sturdy and simple
    My second Dualit Classic
The timer tends to be the weak point after a few years of daily use
The slots may be slightly narrow if you love the thick loaves
Excellent protection film for the heating units
The I&II switch should be better in rotating type to avoid accidental switch

I have bought a Dualit toaster about 20 years ago. Its still going strong, and I love it.

Now I have a cream kitchen, so bought the cream toaster.

The high build quality meant it was impossible to consider a different brand.

If you’re considering Dualit, then just go for it. You won’t be disappointed by them.

Real statement toaster! Look great with my copper themed kitchen. Bit pricey but a good brand with good durability so happy to pay. Would recommend, looks amazing and always get compliments on it! Quite loud when toasting but who cares, makes nice toast!

Like the ability to raise the toast manually. Toasts evenly and crumb tray easy to empty.

Yes I knew you can buy a toaster for 20 pound but if you care about how it looks standing outside on the kitchen shelf you need spend a little more and get a nice looking unit, I personally like to buy things that will last and can be repaired, based on online review this unit looked the right one.

So got the unit yesterday and there are few Important things to know, The bread will not jump when heating is done nor will it stops heating when you tforce the bread out before the time completed But other than these two things which are related to the simple design and not some type of a flaw everything else is perfect.
It’s a little bigger than it looks online and its beautiful, kind of a industrial retro look. looking from an Eng point of view it is build to last with high-quality old-school component that you can easily get and fix.
    The bread toast evenly
I am very happy with it and feels its money well spent.

Solid, good looking a bit large but build to las

I would not part with the kind of money Dualit require without really reading up.

This is a brilliant piece of kit, even toasting, beautifully made and a pleasure to use. Happy to have spent it.

I bought this toaster as we had used one in a holiday cottage a few years ago. I have had several toasters which didn’t t last very long.So I took the plunge to buy the dualit hoping it will last a long time ,up to now I love it easy to clean and use.It is expensive however I am expecting it to last a while.

I’ve been using this for several months now and no complaints. Certainly not the cheapest toaster out there but you generally get what you pay for. Looks good on the kitchen counter, built like a tank, works well and seems to be designed so that it can be repaired should that become necessary.

The clincher for me was that it was made in the UK and not by some poor unfortunate slave labourers in you know where..
