Out of the box, this is a lovely design – very easy to put up once you work it out. The instructions are basic and you have to use your common sense to work out how to do it, but once you get the hang of it, it’s good.
However, the whole “system” hinges around one small pivoting connector which joins the quite heavy screen/roller container to the central suspending upright pole. and this is very, very fragile looking! I’ve set it up for home use and, once I realised how flimsy it was, took great care not to put any pressure/weight on this joint at all! there are a couple of metal parts which are quite basically manufactured with a plastic pivot/fulcom part which looks like, if you put more than a couple of ounces of weight on it, it would snap. Having said that, it’s very easy to set up and picture display is ok. I was just very surprised by how lightweight that joint is, considering the sturdy/good quality feel of the rest of the system!

the stand is a little flimsy for my liking, would have loved to seen a more sturdy base, but it still works fine and holds it up well.
the quick release mechanism is amazing for taking it down and transporting it with ease.
the mechanism which holds the screen up is ok, but can “fail” at some times, if you have the screen up to high the arm at the back closes down due to the strength of the spring that rolls up the spring.
overall its a nice screen, and i would recommend it.
Great screen and although too big for public transport it fits in car and I use it at council meetings.
Really pleased with this purchase. The quality of the screen for the price is really good. I use it with my projector to view photos and my videos. I think the screen being Matt really helps as well. Would recommend without hesitation.

Pleased with the screen, but the fact that it is by nature a portable product would suggest it needs a carry case to protect it from dust, dirt, rain and damage – so either this should be provided with the product or the fact that it comes without one should be clearly stated by the seller. Also there is no method of locking the thin metal bar (which holds the top of the screen) in place on the plastic part at the top of the stand – it just sits there in a very shallow recess. With these issues addressed I would give it 5 stars.

I bought this as a replacement for an ancient screen that had come to the end of its serviceable life.
This screen is quite sturdy but still reasonably light to transport. Once on site it is easy to erect and adjust for both height and rake. The tripod base is stable and the screen locks into place.
When erected, it gives a good flat projection surface and has proved itself well as a portable screen.
Great screen, very sturdy, easy to put up and dismantle. Would be brilliant if it came with a case or strips to tie to keep pieces together. Very happy with it.

La pantalla es perfecta, un poco aparatosa pero es normal por su calidad y robustez muy recomendable la compra.
Projector setup is in my room, thought I could move the legs around abit so that the 2 at front in pic are at back however they are fixed in. As a workaround as I have it set against my wardrobe i opened the wardrobe (sliding doors) and put the back leg in so that it was closer to the back which gave a slightly larger pic.
Instead of leaving it up fully, I would put up friday then take down sunday. Although not that heavy, it was abit awkward to setup, I dropped the screen as I thought I secured it and it made a loud noise, however all in tacked which is good.
I also set this up in my living room for films and it a better improvement to using the TV.
I would recommend this.

, I immediately set this up (a doddle to do) and could tell straight away it was a quality item. It’s sturdy and weighty but not enough to stop it from being portable. I was shocked at just how big this screen is. I had initially bought it for a bedroom but sadly the screen was too big to set up and had to make do with projecting onto a whitewashed bedroom wall. However I recently tidied the garage and finally have substantial space for the duronic screen. The difference between projecting onto the screen and a whitewash wall is palpable. The colours and fine details pop on the screen more vibrantly than they did on the bare wall. The black border highlights the main focal point of the screen which also makes picture correction easier. The tripod feet are quite large when splayed and the product is fairly weighty as I touched upon before but it’s a sign of the build quality which is great. Very sturdy. I’m very happy with this product and would definitely recommend if used in a large area. Brilliant.

I was searching for a projector screen for a little while when I came across this particular product, I did more research and finally decided to buy it. I was told it will be a few days before I receive my delivery, to my surprise it arrived the following day (today). i have put on old boxing match .. Die groe Projektionsflche wird glatt und stabil gehalten. Das Dreibein ist standsicher. Vor allem ist das Projektionsbild hell (liegt aber in erster Linie an der Leistung des Projektors/Beamers) und detailliert.

Ordered this in November together with a DBPower86 projector. Not allowed to open it until after Christmas but worth the wait.
Well packed with quick delivery and extremely easy to operate. Other reports stated that the screen smelt of plastic, Of course it did
ever bought a new car. That smells too but it wears off after a while. Just leave it set up in a warm room for a couple of days and
guess what? The smell goes. As with my projector appears that some people complain at the slightest thing.
This is a first class screen solidly made and I can find no fault at all with it and would recommend it to anyone whom wants a budget sceen.
Great screen which is easily assembled and deassembled for storage. Great value for money
Construction is simple, I find it easier to disconnect the screen casing from the legs/support assembly through the latch mechanism employed, then put the legs/support in place using the screen housing to centre its position.
Reconnect the screen housing to the support, locking both handles roughly to where the base and height of the projector display will be, pull the screen from its housing and place its wire into the indented top support.
Set up the projector, so that display covers the width of the screen.
Lower the base of the screen to the bottom of the display, lock it and repeat for the top of the display. Fine tune via the projector setting as necessary.
Put on a hd bluray or whatever, sit back and enjoy. Stunning scenes of concerts, youtube and even Downton Abbey Series 6 in large screen format.
Extremely pleased with this purchase.

I like this, I am actually using it at the moment for a background for my art vlogging. It would be hard to make a material backdrop and this has the extra feature when I can get a projector. It seems sturdy and strong, smells a bit solventy but I hope this will go!

So far only used once but despite its weight it was easy to handle. The fixing catches held even at maximum extension. The ability to remove the screen from the stand made storage and errection easy. A Good buy.

After an initial mix up with my order (I got sent the wrong model – ceiling mountable rather than tripod) this screen is fantastic for the price.
I got this to use for home theatre and its easy to setup and put away.
I was slightly concerned on the first setup as the bolt that connects to the tripod looked a little small but its all fine and is sturdy.
I have no complaints with it what so ever and the service I received from Euronics with the mix up was very good indeed.

Certainly large enough for all of my needs, next step up would be a cinema! It appears to be strongly made, quite a weight to it. Projected images are sharp and clear and the unit is stable. All together a good piece of kit. Tough to get a 5 from me so I rated it 4 but no regrets from buying it.
I bought this as a used/damaged item as opposed to a new one as I only intend to use it now and again. The only damage was a slight crack to the plastic fitting but this has no effect on the stability of the item when erected. I would have given 5 stars if there was a fitting to keep the legs together better when carrying.
Compact and very easy to assemble, purchased to be be used as part of mobile DJ Set up, works well in small spaces.
Seems to do the job ver well, but do read the instructions for opening or risk catching your fingers! Also wehn first opened it smells awful, needs to be aired for a few days before using.

The projector screen is doing good service in a church. It is bright and is easily viewed from all directions. Brilliant value for money.
The screen was larger than I expected, but is certainly good quality and very robust. Instructions leave a lot to be desired, but you don’t need them anyway – it is just common sense. Also the screen is detachable from the tripod to make it even easier to transport if you have a small car. I have used this to give several presentations now, and the large size is useful to project a large image to be seen from further away if your audience is more than just a small gathering. I would definitely recommend it, and the service from this seller was first class. Many thanks
At the price I expected nothing to great but I have to say it arrived PDQ, was easy to put up and wasn’t at all wonky or flimsy. It was straight into use and I couldn,t fault it at all. A really good buy.
Bought this projector screen in a hurry because my husband (a kiwi) wanted to call all his friends to watch the World Cup Rugby final. Wasn’t disapointed, it was a little bigger than I imagined but it did a good job, particularly because it’s got a black back, which means that we could put it against a window and still see everything perfectly. We also watch movies using this screen, and it’s easy enough to set up. Good stuff.
I give regular talks for Save the Children and wanted a reliable and easy to assemble portable screen for these events. This one is large, lightweight and assembly is manageable – providing you can also erect deck chairs without trapping your fingers. All in all a good purchase and it arrived within 48 hours.
A really large screen, good quality and great value for money. Excellent delivery time. The technique for putting it up is a little tricky to begin with, but once you’ve done it a couple of times it becomes child’s play.
There are just a few minor quibbles –
a) There ‘s no catch or mechanism to keep the legs closed in transit, so they have a habit of splaying out while you’re carrying it if you’re not careful.
b) The vertical support is a little slender for its height, so when my screen is raised to its maximum it tends to develop a very slight tilt to one side – not enough to cause any problem with presentation – at least not yet.
c) As other reviewers have noted, the splayed legs take up a lot of space, and it’s not possible to change their position. One leg sticks out directly backwards behind the screen, so it has to be some distance in front of a wall or other fixed obstruction.
d) After several weeks of use, several times a week, it still has a very peculiar chemical smell, which will, no doubt, go away with time – at least I hope so!
These complaints are all of a minor nature, and by no means detract from the overall value of the screen. Recommended.
The Duronic TPS86 Black Tripod Projector Screen is excellent, a quality product at an fantastic price. I purchased it to give a presentation and was looking for a low cost solution as I didn’t expect to use the screen much after the presentation. However, the Screen has been in regular use by myself and colleagues since purchase and all comment how easy it is to use and of the quality of the product. I have no hesitation in recommending this projector screen to others.
I wouldn’t find anything cheaper on the market in that stanndart.

The screen assembles and disassembles quite easily and appears to be made of quality materials. It can be adjusted for height within fairly restricted limits, it folds down to a pretty slim shape and in general serves its purpose well. The only issue, and that is common to all screens of this type, is that the feet necessarily spread quite wide so you can’t get the screen flush to a wall for example. I’m pleased with the purchase.
Top class product, delivery good but slightly underestimated the size of it. It’s a bit awkward to pack in the car but when it is up and in use, the car packing is well worth it!!

Firstly I would like to say how quick the delivery system was, excellent, it was at my home within 3 days. The tripod screen was able to fit into my car (Estate)very easily and is very quick to put up. Very good for giving presentations on the move in different locations and not too heavy and cumbersome.
Having considered many screens I on the market I finally decided on the Duronic TPS86. This is a great screen and recommended. Like the other review I think the legs spread very wide but in reality there is nothing you can do about this except to buy a hanging screen. It folds easily and is quite compact. Highly recommended.
