I’m not sure why the price was so low but it makes the game when better. If you liked the first game, this is brilliant and the night-time missions and chases are even more anxiety inducing. I’m 10 hours in and a side quest chaser so I have done little story but can’t wait to keep playing.
This game is fun, can’t doubt that at all espically with friends.
Running on the PS5, you can’t “really” run it in graphics mode due to amount of mechanics and on screen just causes lag.
You need to adjust to run in 1080p + 30/60 FPS but change settings both for console and in game.
Found that to be the issue with my friends due to him trying to run the game in performance mode but hadn’t set default options also.
Graphics are a huge improvement, not as great as the demo they showed but still nice. Has 3 graphics settings to choose from. Looks very nice in 4k. A little buggy but I got it on release. I thought the story was going great until near the end, felt very rushed so I was little disappointed.
Overall, I really like the atmosphere of the game, how much more bigger the map is comparing to the first game , how much more colourful it looks, which the city in the first game looked dull and more grey, how there are more activities to do and how more lively the streets feels of monsters, survivors and bandits . It is a great open world horror game, with a lot to do and so far I am still enjoying it.
I was concerned that this game would be a step down from the last, based on some of the disappointing PS5 games that have been released recently (especially Far Cry 6). Nothing to worry about- this follows the same exciting rollercoaster ride as the previous one, with a huge territory to explore. The graphics are more PS4 Pro than PS5 but the game is very playable and the story is well crafted. Probably not one I’d play again once completed but I’m enjoying the first run through.
Fun game with lots to do & multiple endings based on your choices. Had a few glitches and broken cutscenes, but this was fixed by quitting and reloading the game & will likely be fixed with a later patch. If you like zombie games, this is recommended!
First hour I was a little underwhelmed, however the game gets better and better as you play. Dialogue in some areas is a little dragged out. Combat, graphics and crafting system are superb.
Great paced, fun parkour and great features with the grapple hook and paraglider. Massive step up from the first. Experienced a few bugs, no game breakers… I think the 1* reviewers are playing on a 1st gen PS4 with the PS5 faceplates on it, sold to them as “bran nu ps5” from Ivan down the pub.
When I started this game after waiting many years for it, I must say I was very disappointed but the more you play and progress the better it gets and I mean it’s like a completely different game when getting to the second part of the map.
Lots of activities to do, many things to climb and more importantly loads of zombies or bandits to drop kick into oblivion.
Great game not many glitches on the ps5 and smooth frame rate wins me over hands down.
Love it!!
Absolutely amazing game so far. The only downside to getting brand new games and it’s not always Amazon because obviously the games come sealed but every time I get one the disc is loose in the case / has fallen out of place. The game has a few bugs and story can get a little bit repetitive but zombie games often do. I love the progression and the side missions are great.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. What new game doesn’t have bugs nowadays! They are much bigger and more awesome than older and smaller video games. The bugs have been nearly non existent in my time playing. It’s proper fun and can be played with your mates.
I have been waiting for this for years to come out, and it is enjoyable, the day and night system always adds tension, even more so in this title as you have a set time to get to UV light source/consumable in the night. But I gotta say, I prefer the first game, the story was more solid and it played a little easier. Plus there’s no opportunity to repair your weapons, instead you have to find a charm, which requires some waiting and a search on the internet. I still played it, but I just didn’t feel as enthusiastic for part 2 once I was playing it.
I bought this game as I loved the first one. Brilliant game great graphics, but unfortunaetly you cannot cross play from ps5 to ps4 in co op mode.. Techland are aware of this and said you both have to have ps4 versions of the game which defeats the object of having a ps5.
Zombies are harder to kill, world is huge and more vertical.
Lots of new combat and parkour moves but much less weapons and mods.
No guns and no making your own weapons.
This is not a game you play for the story, this ones all about gameplay and its great.

Last of Us Part II was slated on release, now its hailed one of the best games ever made.
People rating this game and rating it solely on bugs need to seriously go outside and touch grass. Some people don’t have time to label and notice every infraction, and besides – what game hasn’t had bugs on release?
This is one of the best games I’ve played in the last 5 years. Fact.
It has a few minor bugs, but nothing game breaking, if you know the company who made it you know they’re on it.
The story is great, the graphics are amazing and the combat/parkour make it one of the most seamless games you could play. Night-time gets your heart racing and day-time gets you in the mood for night-time.
It’s honestly proper good. I bought this as a pre order and I don’t regret it one bit.
If your rating a game based on its bugs alone then your failing to see the beauty of its intention. Like judging a painting through a tinted window.
It’s honestly everything I wanted from a sequel to Dying Light! A ton of fun, the parkour is great, the combat is great and the world looks great and is incredibly fun to explore. I haven’t really played too much of the story yet but it seems alright at the beginning at least.
The game is endless fun. Really crunchy mele combat, really cool weapons to find/buy/craft in the massive open world. The day night cycle is so well done, having to be constantly aware of your infection immunity levels whenever you are out of the sunlight adds a really exciting level of tension to the already fraught night time missions- plus, the first time you accidentally stumble onto street level and alert a Howler to your presence which instigates a night time chase where zombies burst from every crevice is a truly unique experience which is genuinely exhilarating. I have also found the open world entertaining and plenty going on in terms of loot and quests. The bad- there are a few bugs, I have had one crash and one story based trophy not pop up. Apart from the odd bits of screen tear that’s where the bugs end for me up to so far. Also, the story is reasonably weak, but populated by some really good interesting characters and interesting side quests which balances that out. All in all having a blast with Dying Light 2!
I love the game, but am very disappointed I didn’t get the pre order bonus, even though I pre ordered it. Sure, it was a few days before the release, but I still pre ordered it. I would have waited to buy it if I knew I wasn’t actually getting any of the bonuses for pre ordering
I’m around 30 hours in and I really don’t see where the review ‘hate’ came from. The game does exactly what it says on the tin and I have yet to come across a single bug.
I can see why die hard fans of the original may have some issues with the changes but personally I like them. Its more arcade’y in feel the the original but the world map, terrain, parkour and combat are greatly improved. I particularly enjoy the dungeon delving aspect with your immunity constantly depleting that adds tension to any loot run of this sort. I’ve even had a couple of surprisingly emotional story moments.
The only negative is it is not the best looking game (on PS5) but I have also prioritised ‘Performance’ in the Video settings which drops it to 1080 60fps. After testing this setting for a while going back to 30fps just felt uber clunky.
Keep in mind, the original was not a gem by any standard when it came out but Techland’s after sale support was fantastic. They have a good foundation base game down and I have high hopes that they will continue to improve it into something truly epic.
If you like the first dying light you’re going to like this, the parkour is miles better, and while I’ve only played 6 hours it’s quickly become one of my favourite games.
For people worried about the bugs, I don’t think you need to be, I’ve had one problem in the hours I played where I got stuck for a couple of seconds in a wall. The reviews were done at least the day before the release and techland had already announced there would be over a 1000 fixes in the day 1 patch. It took 10 minutes for my game to download and 35 minutes for the update.
This game has been great fun, kept me occupied for hours. Has slight differences to the first game, probably not as scary at night. There are a few slight glitches in parts however, but nothing that has ruined the game for me.
The only thing I am unhappy about is the fact that amazon sent me the pre-order bonus pack code for the ‘Reload’ skin pack and it doesn’t work. The code has apparently ‘already been used’ which is not the case. Just awaiting a reply from amazon on this matter. Other than that though, me and my partner have both thoroughly enjoyed the game.
The game like any other released has some slight bugs that will no doubt be fixed over time.
The game and story so far is great! And the pre order bonus was sent to my email which works fine.
I never played the first dying light game but after spending a night on this I wish I did.
Great game all round and I would highly recommend you give it a go.

This game has it all zombies, first person, great graphics, plenty of hours of fu
Not going into the gameplay, just the item itself.
Arrived in top notch condition as expected. No damage and so far I’m really enjoying the game.

Game is great and service from the seller was great! Nice and fast delivery and came exactly when it said and in perfect condition!

Really fun game, good story, great graphically & the choice making elements gives the game a lot of replayability

Awsome game ! , a little buggy atm but will be sorted on upcoming hotfix.
A fun and wild sequel to a loved game. Adds to the genre.

Great game so far! Not really came across any bugs. If there were any then they must have been patched. Excellent work!
Looks to be a good game but if you suffer from motion sickness in games this won’t be for you
