I had four friends round and I hung a white sheet from my garden shed; we all sat in the garden around a fire pit to keep warm and watched films. I put on films I had previously recorded of music events in our town, this lifted everyone’s spirits (we have not had any live music lately due to Covid). When that finished we took turns to watch music from YouTube. We ended up dancing too.
I thought the projector was great for entertaining my friends and nobody said a bad word about the picture. The picture wasn’t as good as on a computer screen but it was as good as I thought it would be and certainly met my expectations (it was a big picture and able to use in the garden easily which was my goal). If you want to entertain on a low budget you won’t go far wrong, it is a good piece of kit for home movies.
I thought the sound quality wasn’t great (I would say it was OK though) and I don’t yet know how to bypass the built in speakers in favour of my bluetooth speaker.

Great picture, be warned screen mirroring via hdmi does not work for many subscriptions like Netflix, Disney+ due to some sort of licensing witchcraft in the wires. HOWEVER using a fire stick directly into the hdmi works perfectly (and frees up your phone). Also used external speakers via the Jack without issue. The power cord is far too short but for the price I’m really happy. Also bought a white screen for 15 and attached to fence with gutter hooks, we’ve really enjoyed i

Great picture. Use a fire stick

    Key points:
It’s a projector that accepts high definition signal from your top box/console/computer via the HDMI port.
You can plug your Chromecast in to the HDMI socket and power it via the USB port.
It’s really easy to set up.
    It has a native resolution of 800 x 400.
Low price = great value (relatively speaking)

The main point to remember is the native resolution of 800 x 400
This means that even if your input signal is full high def 1080p this projector will never display the superior display resolution (HD 1920 x 1080), it will always be an image with significantly downscaled resolution.
Put simply, this is an ‘SD’ projector more akin to NTSC standard display resolution.
It is much like the early days when ‘HD ready’ or ‘HD compatible’ TVs were on the market that were not in themselves HD display screens.

That said it is well worth the 4 stars because it is very good at what it does and is competitively priced.

Always wanted a projector but the selection and price always put me off. After seeing a favourable review on YouTube and Amazon having an offer on it I took the plunge. Oh boy I’m glad I did what a fantastic device its small but very powerful took me a couple of minutes to set up, great picture and sound is no worse than most TVs, tried connecting my mobile phone and Firestick 4K, which was easy it also has an SD card slot though I haven’t tried that yet.
The only negative I can say and this is really nitpicking, it would be a nice touch if it had an adapter supplied for ceiling mounting. I have to say in fairness it comes with everything that you really need and for the price it’s a truly fantastic projector.

The projector itself it great for the price, was pleasantly surprised at the picture quality and volume of the speakers and would definitely recommend the product. Just a word of warning to others hoping to stream movies from amazon Netflix Disney plus etc straight from their phone using Lightning HDMI cable, I have been unable to watch any of the above. due to copy right protection the videos on any streaming services will not load. Can get films to play on amazon prime through my laptop, but not in HD as it brings up a notice to say amazon can not verify the HDCP of the device (projector). if wanting to stream in HD from any of these apps buy a fire stick or roku stick as this works!

I have been thinking of buying one of the projector for my living room for some time now, and finally I bought this product. First few phrases for the projector after 2-3 days of usage top quality, easy to use/install, satisfactory, meet my needs and excellent product at the given price range.
    In the Box:
It comes with a basic remote (batteries not included), HDMI cable, AV cable and basic instruction manual.

    Usage Experience:
Operation is very easy. Plug in and switch on. You are presented with a boot screen. Here you can set the focus with the manual ring and adjust the manual keystone ring to get the correct rectangle.

    Positive highlights:
    the built-in speakers
ease of use and good image quality off course the price-point ratio

For the price however, I am absolutely blown away! Astonishing picture for such an attractive price!!

    A BIG YES.

Good: Great value for your money. Versatile, small and easy to install. The image quality os superb, however in need of total dark in the room. Good quality product.
Bad: The only 2 things I would mention are 1) the noise it makes when running (it is moderate and you kind of forget about it a few minutes in the projection, this sound is quite inherent to most projectors anyway) and 2) the fact that when on, it removes the sound from the device you use it on (eg. PC) to the projector itself which has very poor sound quality – so you will need speakers as well (again, not uncommon).
Overall: Very pleased with this buy, I recommend it.

This device is amazing. If you like to watch series, movies or Netflix, and you don’t have a budget for a nice Smart TV, just buy this device and be delighted with its quality. We connected it to a computer first for Netflix, then to a 1 TB harddrive and it was flawless. I personally had some hard time until figure out how menu works from remote as first selection came full screen, but then I figured it out and managed to make it a perfectly balanced screen for us. I don’t remember reading about its own sound system much, so I want to mention it as well. It is well built enough to fill a whole living room easily. I would have liked a bit more if it had a Bluetooth connection to connect to a wireless speaker but built-in speaker is just fine.

No need for TV anymore, incredibly cost efficient device

I needed a projector for family movie nights and though there were so many options, I am really glad I went with this product! Firstly, it doesn’t come with many complicated parts to put together. There was just the projector which has couple buttons including an on/off switch and an arrow pad. All I had to do was connect the projector to an outlet plug and then connect the hdmi cable from my laptop to the projector. Both these wires came with the projector. The picture quality will be blurry at first and I had to adjust the focus on the projector after which the sound and picture were amazing – and all set up by myself so anyone can handle this! I will come back in couple months to give updates but as of now, this product is great for beginners.

    Great product!

Ordered this projector after it was recommended by a friend. Have to say I am not disappointed. The picture is really good. Easy to set up. Mainly got it for watching films in the garden at night but like it so much we have it in the house working most of the time. Works brilliantly with our fire stick.

My son has attached his PS4 to it for which he played some of his games, excellent picture but it lagged a bit but thats to do with our internet.

We have now attached a speaker to it which makes the sound much better as it sounded a little tinny. We use it every week now as it so good to watch. Have already recommended to friends and family. If you like watching films and want the cinema experience this is for you. Buy it you won’t be disappointed.

We don’t normally review things on any shopping site but we are so impressed we thought we should tell you.

Fantastic product straight out of the box, up and running in 5 minutes!

Super easy to use remote, we hooked it up to Apple TV and after 10 seconds adjusting the focus and a couple of minutes adjusting settings to our liking we were watching NowTv.

The TV you can see is a 40 inch screen, we measured the projected area on the diagonal at 4.572m (or 180″ in old money). The sound is through a soundbar, the built in speakers are ok but better with external speakers.

We have tried all of the input methods apart from VGA and all are spot on, it even played movies through an old HDD connected on the USB.

Overall, a fab product, great value for money, will certainly look out for more products from ELEPHAS!

First review on here, absolutely delighted with the projector!!!!

We bought this so that our son could have watch a socially-distanced movie with some friends in the garage, and it will fulfill that role really well. It’s actually going to get a lot of use, I think.

    Plus points:

    – quick start-up
    – very bright bulb
    – clear even from quite far from the screen
    – logical, easy to use controls
    – lots of connectivity
    – looks quite nice
    – compact and light
    – good value for money

    Negative points:

    – the sound isn’t the best, but then the speakers are small

We were looking at the versions you can get on ebay for about 35, but were recommended this instead. Good reviews, too, and not just on here.

Great piece of kit for the price

Absolutely fantastic projector. We had this delivered today, in order to watch a movie outside tonight and it was perfect.

You will not find a better projector for under 100. At first, I thought the reviews were too good to be true, but in all honesty, it was great. It comes with a good quality remote control, an RCA to 3.5mm Jack to hook it up to an audio system and a decent HDMI cable too!

The projector is small and light, easy to set up and is great quality. I would highly recommend it. The only negatives, if it has any, are that the fans are noisy and the in build speakers are not the best, but neither of these bothered us, as we used external speakers and once the film was playing, you couldn’t hear the fans.

    5/5 – highly recommended!

Good product, surprised by a decent quality and brightness, works very well on a plain white-ish wall.
Warning though: the instruction to the product says that there is a hanging installation possible and a standing one. In reality, only the standing is available in settings (checked everything). It’s not a massive disadvantage, however, you do have to have a stand/table high enough to keep the projector at the desired height specifically. Else, you’d have to put it an an angle, then alter it, but this results in certain screen parts being blurred. For this price though, I cannot complain.
If you ever use subtitles, be aware that the font is quite small, thin, and always white, so if the background is light and colourful, it is almost impossible to see the subtitles. I wish there was an option to increase the size of it and/or add a faded background for the subtitles to be readable.

This product for the price is excellent. Really easy to use and setup. Great brightness and definition at night. On to a 100inch luxburg glass bead electric screen. Has to be about 3-3.3m away. During the day ambient light takes a lot away but in summer months just brought black fleece blankets off of Amazon really cheap 3.99 each and Velcro to top of curtain rails, which black out room enough to watch during the day(temp fix).

Connect sky q box to hdmi and plays all sky and Netflix no problem. Amazon prime via fire stick.

Great starter projector. Would need more powerful though to watch in day with out some sort of blackout. But this is understandable as it’s how projectors work in dark rooms. Great choice great product. Connecting cables from side not back.

Being honest, I’m only doing this review because of the gift after the review.

I bought this project about 1 year ago and I can tell you the pros and cons.

    Pros:
Good Quality Image, the brightness is awesome for a projector this price range. You have to have blackouts during the day, of course. LED, bulb lifespan – I didn’t have any problem at all.

It doesn’t lack image quality, even though is not 1080p native.
Perfect for Netflix or to use as a data show. If you have your laptop connected, the image is ok, though – the words lack definition in 1080p.

    Cons

Audio – You will need external speakers to have quality. The internal audio is just there, but need to be improved.

Remote – Lack of an option to mute/ volume up volume down.

Noise – Noisy. If you live in a quiet location, it is VERY noticeable when the projector is ON. The fan is too loud. After the guarantee finished, I opened my projector and changed mine with a premium 15 quid 8 cm fan – It is perfect now.

I still would buy it again. In fact, I’m thinking about getting a second one.

I think this product is a great value for money.
However the fan is slightly loud but easily forgotten once you play something. It has a very decent quality but works better in smaller places. If projected on a wall slightly too distant from the projector it will very rapidly not be able to focus properly and see the pixels on screen. Nevertheless the quality of the image is remains really good and great features. The only thin missing for me would be a way to link speakers/sound system.
Overall it’s a great product for lovely movie nights.

Picture is more then fine but it aint super bright. I use it super often as its basically my TV, have to make the room pretty dark to get a good picture but its fine because I only really use it in the evenings. Picture is pretty good and colours are pretty vivid (good for watching the superbowl on with the bois). One problem is that the thing is pretty loud but i sit literal 40cm away from it, the sound drowns out after a while so it aint a huge deal when using a Bluetooth speaker with it.

  19. HarrietSomerset says:

I amazed how good this is for the price. The picture quality is excellent in my opinion and even the built in speakers are quite good although I have since bought an HDMI splitter and route the audio through my home cinema speakers. The unit barely gets warm to the touch and although you initially notice the internal fan noise I find my brain dials it out after a while. The only downside is that you need to turn all the lights off to see the picture properly or you can project it on your garage wall when it’s dark outside. I have been projecting it onto a white screen or wall and a black or grey screen would give better blacks but I am not sure it’s bright enough to support this.
Overall it’s a great device and it appears to be well made – very impressed.
    Update March 2021
After my initial review I started using this projector indoors and I discovered some short comings. I bought a proper roll- down screen and not surprisingly an SD image on a 95″ screen from 10 feet is blurry and has motion lag. Also the contrast and colour were also limited even a dim room. After a few projector upgrades I ended up spending 500 and this is almost as good as my TV. You can’t expect it to be perfect as this money and I’d say it’s a great fun projector for BBQs, kids parties etc and generally having a bit of a laugh but if you’re fussy about image quality you will need to spend much more. By the time I’d noticed the deficiencies in mine the return window had closed so I kept it. It maybe useful for drunken BBQs once these are allowed again (written March 2021)

We bought this projector for the birthday of one of our children, with the intention of watching films in the garden during the summer. I had read many reviews of this projector and it seemed to come out on top in all them for the value for money and the quality of the display. As with most projectors, it requires a dark room or evening setting for the best viewing experience, but with these conditions it was like watching an HD television. The LED brightness is incredible, and doesn’t ever need replacing which is a massive bonus. The built in speaker sound quality is great for most situations, especially outside, but can be improved with an external speaker. If you are looking for a low budget all round projector for a home cinema both indoors and outdoors, then I would look no further. I heartily recommend this projector!

  21. Anonymous says:

The quality of the picture is pretty good as long as it is dark enough (internal/external). If using this outside, you have to wait until it is quite dark before you can clearly see the picture, which can be quite late in the summer. The sound is fine but if you want something a little bit more robust you can connect some speakers or connect a bluetooth transmitter with some ear/headphones. Very easy to setup and can easily connect a DVD player or streaming device. The quality is ok, good enough for movie nights in the backyard. The package was delivered quickly and came with all the right cables. I think the price fits with the quality of the projector.

The projector is brilliant for a budget projector the sound quality is very good there is a little fan noise but not loud at all it keeps the projector cool I I’ve a screen of about 100inchs and it gives HD screen resolution no problem using firestick I would recommend this projector as your first one if you on a low budget it does the job very well easy to set up and can connect game consoles laptops pc dvd player sd card USB stick firestick etc can use it on wall or a projector screen would recommend a white wall smooth no holes bumps or cracks for better viewing or purchase a projector screen or use a white shee

I’ve been on a homeless feeding project on a farm since the start of lockdown. After thinking of ways to make our evenings more enjoyable (being in the middle of nowhere!) I decided to set up a movie theatre within one of the shipping containers. I hung a white bed sheet up and borrowed a projector off a friend, and I was so pleased with the outcome I bought it myself! There’s a lot of budget projectors out there and it can get overwhelming however I think the quality of this one is fab for the price. I’ve linked both iPhone (with a HDMI cable you need to buy separately) and an Amazon Fire stick and both have played perfectly with no issues. I also bought an aux to aux cable so I could connect another speaker for the full surround sound cinema experience. All in all, great product.

Easy to use and great fu

It was a good projector and NOW TV with its dongle from my tv could be utilised in the back of the projector. Sound good, noisy fan but once you hear the film you forget about it.
We unfortunately had to return it as we were led to believe from the pictures that our phone could be connected with a lead.
The lead to major it compatible did not work and this was the whole point of my daughter getting it for her uni flat to manage from her phone. We tried connecting it to a samsung and a Google pixel but to no avail.
Worked on the Nintendo switch no problem and no extra leads except the ones with the switch of course.

Ok bought this just to bring some fun to the lockdown for outdoor cinema, wasnt expecting much for the price but omg was I wrong, yes it’s a little bit fiddly on a tripod and it’s not designed for outdoor use but it was outstanding, plugged in a surround sound to the earphone back which I didnt think would work to be honest but jesus it did and was outstanding, 8 x4 ft screen and it was in focus and colours were amazing. Basically I’m not gona go into specs and things like that, but plugged in my fire stick in the hdmi and away we went, it does have a little thing with very tiny squares which make the image but you dont really notice and it’s a bloody projector not a tv so what do you want. At the end of the day if you want to chill in the garden watching spiderman, lion king or cartoons lol with a gin then its Brilliant, and the kids leave you alone aswell so I’d of paid more for that and wish I’d bought it earlier if I’d known haha. Really you cant do wrong and if you listen to some of the reviews I’ve no idea what there issue is. But I would advise getting some decent speakers though if you use it outside, but the speakers are good if using indoors

    Absolutely brilliant for lockdow

So at first I was very hesitant about purchasing this product due to the reviews…
Some said it was great and some said it was rubbish and mentioned that the comments are all fake because they want a gift for their review…

I’ve had this product for 2 months now and I’ve been using it religiously…
It has not disappointed me once…

    The picture is great!
Even with my curtains open I can still see the image clearly on my white walls and ceiling..
You just have to tweak it a little to get the perfect focus and angle but it doesn’t take long at all.. ( twisting the lens till it focuses)…
I use a google chromecast to connect to it using my phone… SUPER SIMPLE….
I use it for netflix, YouTube and all the illegally downloaded and streamed movies and series on my android.. hahaha
Ohh.. One thing that does not get 5* is the sound.. But it’s cool coz I just connect my portable JBL speaker to it.. I bought a tiny stereo jack (aux) from amazon and it works perfectly…
    Hmmm what else…

I dont hear the fan sound that everyone mentioned coz I mean I’m busy watching and listening to whatever is on…
It doesnt heat up coz I place it on a good foat surface…
Most of the time it’s on my floor facing up to the ceiling coz I like laying on my bed and watching things…

    Anyways… I guess that’s all I gotta say….

It’s an amazzzzzzzing little projector and I’m so glad I didn’t spend 100s on an expensive one… I mean I’m sure they’re better but this is perfect for what I wanted…!

Also the three year warranty is good news but I’m hoping it works well for a long time…

    Okay I’m done 🙂

And… I cant wait to get my gift after reviewing 🙂
It says to give an honest review and you get a gift.. So I guess even if it was a negative one then I’d still be eligible for one … Yayyy

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersHaving not had much experience purchasing a projector, I dove straight into product reviews and compared my shortlist endlessly before settling on this choice. I’d almost gone ahead with a different one but so glad I went for this one!

My main concerns were price, picture brightness and clarity, connectivity options to various devices and speakers as well as from a safety standpoint – a decent fan and a projector that will stay cool to use in my tiny room with direct sunlight during the day (ie pretty much sauna temps in the summer). I also wanted a decent remote, and a light and relatively small projector that can easily move around with me that functions well, is easy to use and to include various tweaking functionalities – something straight forward and quality to use for movies and when streaming messages online via youtube without the drama, fuss or crazy pricetag.

I took a chance, wasn’t expecting much, but so glad I did as it honestly does all of the above very well!
Image is bright and crisp, totally decent and acceptable even with sunlight but of course even better the darker the room – since my room tends to be on the very bright side and I knew I wasn’t really going to be using the projector in pitch black condition that much (personal preference as I prefer bright and airy). A tall ask I figured, but this one seems to be able to handle it extremely well.
Next, the tweaking functionalities are incredible, allowing you to adjust picture clarity directly on the unit as well as the perspective (kerning? soz guys, not sure what it’s called!). In any case, it also allows you to adjust the image itself – including colour, brightness, contrast and a whole bunch of other things. The bonus is it also has a set of pre-set image adjustments including ‘vivid’ as well as a ‘user’ set preference to easily switch between. During the day ‘vivid’ is perfect and having the option to tweak this to suit various lighting conditions has become a somewhat essential feature!

As my room is also more on the shoebox size I needed something I could set up and put away with minimum drama, which hands down you can easily have this set up and good to go in 5 mins. I have this hooked up to my speakers via bluetooth on whichever device I plug in (laptop mainly atm) and I can say it’s made for an amazing viewing experience – bringing everything to life especially during these lock down times.
I’d also recommend using a standard tripod – as you can see in the image, makes things super portable and neat but most importantly a very straightforward viewing experience.

My only teeny thing would be the the fan as it’s quite loud especially if there’s no sound playing yet. To get around this and help drown it out a bit better I’ve been connecting it so speakers which have made it more bearable – having said this however, since the fan is needed to keep the projector cool at all times I would rather have a louder level fan than a silent one with a device at risk of overheating. In terms of the audio quality coming from the unit itself – I haven’t actually tested this as I’m a bit of an audio snob so just been utilising my own speakers 🙂

In conclusion – I’d say go for it you can’t go wrong. Yes there’s a bonus gift when offering a review but in all honesty this device does what it says and I couldn’t recommend it more – gift or no gift. Hope this helps!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect! Easy set up, brilliant even in daylight - go for it!

Ok it’s never going to set the world on fire with the light output, rated 4500 lumens from memory, so no blazing searchlight for daylight display but once the sun goes down is another story.
We bought ours for a garden cinema, didn’t want massive expense or something built in place. 85 with reasonable reviews was worth a punt.
Well the entire family is impressed, once the light goes down it’s a decent picture and the sounds whilst nothing that an audiophile would accept is loud enough to watch a film without having to even push it past half volume. I was using compressed 2gb files from our collection of Blu-Rays thrown onto a SD card so with a better input it will no doubt improve. 6ft displayed on the side of the summer house was perfectly clear and watchable, had we had more room I’ve no doubt it would have done larger with equal clarity.
From the money it’s a little gem, the fans a little nosy but nothing to detract at this price point. Throw a 2.1 system on the headphone jack if you require some depth to the sound and you’ve got a great garden cinema.

I was looking for a projector to watch movies on and play ps4 on and I came across this one after a few days of research. I needed one that was affordable and really good so I saw this was the number one bestseller on amazon for projectors and thought I would go purchase it and see how it was. I would definitely say it is worth every penny I paid for it. The quality of the movie being projected is really good considering I have not bought the screen yet. I would definitely recommend this projector to someone who wants a projector which is affordable and really good. There is a reason why it’s the number one bestseller on amazon for projectors. It also helps that you can connect external speakers if needed via aux cable. The remote is very useful as you do not need to go to the projector to change the input and can control the volume from the remote if you don’t use external speakers. They also give you an HDMI cable which is very useful.

    Excellent projecto

This is a really good value for money product. It does everything it says, the setup was very easy and simple and it works extremely well. The picture quality is fantastic (demonstrated on a plain white wall in the photos), it even has clear picture in a room with a bright light on. Very impressive! The only negative I would say is that there aren’t any volume controls on the remote (luckily I use my Amazon Fire Stick with it which does), but also the sound is very tinny. I did however plug an external speaker in and the sound was brilliant on that – but the device itself doesn’t have very good sound quality. It is easy to focus a soft picture, whilst you can’t make the scale bigger unless you move the projector further from the surface or screen you are using, but the size is very good regardless. I would definitely recommend this product!

Fantastic product, absolute value for money!

Only had this a couple of days but got to say that I am shocked at how well this preforms for the price. I had been looking at different projectors for a while and all the more expensive ones had so many varied reviews, when I read the reviews for this projector I was skeptical, mainly because of the price. A couple of days ago it arrived and I set it up in our gazebo along with the screen I bought, what I have found is that if it’s really bright then it’s impossible to see anything but to be fair this is obvious but once the light is a little lower the picture is viewable and satisfactory but when it’s completely dark then wow. I honestly was gob smacked at the quality of the picture and for the price I really can’t complain and I’m more than relieved that I didn’t spend 300 plus on a known brand instead. The sound from the projectors speakers isn’t bad, a little tinny but definitely loud enough but I have it playing through a sound bar. All in all I’m more than happy

I have been considering buying a projector for home use for some time now and did a lot of research on them. To be honest i was dubious about the quality of this one due to the price but going through the reviews i went for it and can honestly say im pleased i did.

Last weekend we had our first family movie night, it was too light outside so we moved into the garden cabin and played the film on the wall. The projector was very easy to setup, focus and change screen size, i also plugged in an external speaker which worked perfectly.

I am no expert and im sure there are plenty of people that can comment on Lumens etc. but all i can say is that it is perfect for our family movie nights and i would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying one that wont use it enough to spend a fortune on one.

Very impressed, perfect for our Home Movie nights

Was looking for a low cost projector for use in our outside living area. Watching films and recorded TV outside on a warm starry evening appeals! 🙂
There were a few offerings on Amazon, around this price, but I went for one well rated by other customers.
I am not disappointed at all and can’t find anything to state negative, especially given the price.
I’m planning to use an Amazon Fire TV stick in the HDMI port to stream Netflix and Kodi.
I’ll be looking to project onto about 70″ screen size and brightness seems fine. Can see the image even during the day but it will be better after dark.
    Notable positives:
I like the fact that the IR sensor works on the front and the back so I can position where I like.
I noted a proper UK plug.
I’ll be mounting from above using the Amazon Basic Projector mount. This mounts the projector upside down so you can still reach the top panel controls (although the remote mirrors all the controls so this probably wont be necessary). There is a menu control to turn the image upside down so you can mount the projector either way.
Audio is unexpectedly average from the built in speakers but there is audio out connectors if you want to plug in a bigger speaker or amp.

Anyway, looking forward to the first warm evening!

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional at this price poi

I was pretty skeptical when ordering this initially cause I had read the 1 star reviews and they threw me off, but I figured I’d throw caution to the wind and I wasn’t disappointed. I feel I should say now that I’m not writing this for the reward that you get for writing good reviews, but writing this for anyone who would be dismayed by some of the bad reviews. For one of the cheaper projectors on the market, it works really well. Picture quality was good when you adjust the focus and tilt of the projector (people who say the edges are blurred just aren’t adjusting it right). I used it in my room with the blinds down when it was still bright out and I could see it perfectly – just like the cinema but at home! The fan is pretty loud but it’s not the jet engine it’s been described as and you really do tune it out. Also the power cable is pretty short, so have an extender ready for versatility! Other than that, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Good value for money if you ask me. Great cinema feeling at home when you can’t go out because of the quarantine.

I’m very pleased with this projector.
I live in the attic and watching films on this angled ceiling was my dream and here there was Elephas Projector as a first suggested item on Amazon app, compact, elegant and budget friendly (got additional 10% off voucher!) . It was “now or never” situation, so I got it, and I’m really pleased with the quality.
The projector came well packed and delivered before the estimated time.
It comes with everything you need – remote, lens cover, HDMI cable, power cable, screw for easy set up and other cable I don’t even know what is for.
What I like is that you don’t even have to point the remote at the projector and it will still react.

Usually I’m connecting it with my PC through HDMI input, here you must make sure that first you chose what you want to watch on normal screen as you’ll have trouble with seeing icons on desktop when using projector, they’re just too small.
I also played films through USB. It’s so easy to use. I only needed to read instructions to figure out which input is for what.

I projected it onto white coloured wall/angled ceiling (see attached pictures and video) and picture quality is really good, you can also adjust the focus, distance and other features like brightness, colour, contrast or display size – the menu is easy to navigate.

The built in speakers are loud enough for me but you can also connect it with additional speakers if you need.
You can hear the cooling fan quite loud but once you start watching film you don’t really notice it.

I’ve been using it for a couple of months now so I can honestly say that I recommend it.

    Very pleased

I have had no experience with projectors since those large contraptions that the teachers used in school assemblies and so I was absolutely clueless when it came to choosing a home projector. I didn’t need anything too fancy with wifi or bluetooth as I was just looking to use it as an outdoor cinema in the summer nights or for a large screen indoors when friends and family were around.

After much research and comparing similar items, I settled on purchasing the Elephas GC333, which had very promising reviews. I was not disappointed!

This really is a “plug and play” gadget without any complex setup processes. I simply faced it towards a light coloured wall (no screen), plugged in the firestick and adjusted the lens to achieve the perfect picture quality then settled in to watch Netflix.

The picture quality rivals that of a high spec TV once the blinds were shut. Although, I was even surprised at how well this could be seen in a well lit area.

I have no doubt that we will get lots of use out of this. If you’re looking for a projector for similar purposes and for a great price then do not waste your time researching (I’ve done it for you) and buy this!

    Exceeded expectations!

Was a bit confused with so many options for small/ mini projectors so went for one that wasn’t the cheapest but equally not top of the line and think I got it about right. The projector is small and compact so takes up no room in our home and is easy to store when not in use. The set up process is a bit fiddly as the instructions are printed in such a tiny typeface it’s virtually impossible to read without a magnifying glass but the on screen menus is simple enough to follow even if you don’t bother with the manual. Picture quality is fine for what we need, not as good as an HD TV but you don’t get one of those for this price so no complaints. The only issue was getting the built-in speaker to work when connected to my laptop. Tried usb and vga cables but neither would allow me to use the projector speaker. Finally tried HDMI to USB connector cable and the speakers kicked in straight away. All in all a good projector for movie nights and great value for money

My daughter has been using a really cheap mini projector for a year or so, and I thought it about time I upgraded it for her.
I didn’t want to spend hundreds but I also didn’t want another crappy picture (that narrowed the search).
I came across this one and read a load of reviews about it and thought I’d give it a go.
What an amazing machine for the price!
    Picture Quality –
Great picture, Disney+ and Netflix look really good! The picture goes slightly blurred towards the very edges but doesn’t effect your viewing.
I connected a Chromecast to it and was streaming films from the hot tub, on to a sheet of plywood. The projection was 1200mm tall, and the picture was viewable before getting totally dark (from about 8:45pm at the beginning of May)
(In the picture I was watching an old Mountain biking video in 4:3 ratio)
    Sound –
After reading the other reviews I didn’t try the built in speakers, I used a battery powered speaker plugged into the headphone jack.

The size of the unit is fairly compact, small enough that it can easily be stored away.
I mounted ours to a camera tripod when we were watching outside.

Overall I would highly recommend this if you were after a budget projector.

    So much beter than expected

I found the projector very well designed. The best part was the picture quality and the simplicity of the projector. Further, the projector’s handy remote control allowed me to control it without having to actually go up to the projector and press play. I would recommend that you advertise more about the extras that come with it, such as the hdmi cable and the controller. There were also some leads that came too, but I wasn’t able to use them. The projector has a wide range of sockets that can fit almost anything. This allowed me to connect a separate usb stick and a hdmi cable at once to ease the use of the product.

Overall, the projector is a wonderful piece of equipment and has ‘projected’ a path in front of me for my digitally inspired future. In summary, it is perfect how it is, but you could benefit in underlining the things that came with it.

I bought this projector because of the good reviews and was not disappointed!! It is very bright and doesn’t need to be totally dark to be seen (the attached photos show day and night use). It is very easy to set up and use, and looks great too. The sound isn’t the best but is fine within a smaller room, however there is an option to attach a speaker through aux connection so it’s great for us. Well worth the money and much better than the cheaper option (don’t fall for reviews of the much cheaper projectors like I did which was very poor and returned).

A great buy, worth the price

I spent a bit of time looking for a project with a limited budget, however, when this appeared on Amazon I could not believe the value and questioned its quality. However, reading the reviews I chose to take a leap of faith and I am so glad I did. Picture quality is great ( bought the screen as well) had a cinema night at the weekend in the garden, first class and exactly what I was looking for. Plugged in some additional speakers to give a more rounded sound. Then set this up in my sons play room connected the Xbox and away we go, this time used the sound from the projector it’s self and works well. Plugged laptop in and play sky go, brilliant. Simple, compact, easy to use, out standing for money with the screen, stand and projector job lot 117. I really question why anyone pays more for other units it works a treat.

I’ve never had a projector before and wanted one to do our first garden movie night whilst COVID-19 lockdown was on. I wanted to spend less than 100 but was nervous that the quality would be bad at this price point given projector costs can go into the thousands.
All I can say is WOW!
It’s simple to set up and easy to use. I connected the projector to my iPhone (had to buy a separate adapter connector) and have so far watched movies via Netflix which I have as an app on my phone. The quality is great, very clear, sharp, bright and the colours are vibrant. My review has been written in April and we started watching the movie at 8.45pm just as it got dark and the picture was really good. As the night got super dark around 9.30pm the picture was just awesome. We watch children’s movies on it and the colours really come through well. The sound plays from speakers on the projector which are not that loud so I’m going to buy some extra cables to hook into my own speaker. The first few times I’ve used this I have hung a white duvet cover on the washing line or fence and projected it onto there which worked really well. I have bifolds on the house so couldn’t project it onto there. I might consider getting a proper projector screen but honestly if you have a nice white wall or sheet (that’s hung up properly) then it’s absolutely fine.
Overall I’m so pleased with this product. I really feel like I got my money’s worth with this one and the kids love i

If your after a projector to be ceiling mounted then this isn’t for you, no mounting holes for normal protector mounts, mine was positioned height wise at the top of my screen , approx 7 foot away from screen, it’s impossible to get a fully focused screen , you can adjust focus and angle but unable to get a full focus on entire screen, this was hopefully an upgrade from my Epsom standard def but actually a mile away quality wise, if your not too bothered about a perfect image and happy to have it on a table where your wanting to sit then this would be a good call, if like me you want it mounted up high out the way to hide wires ext this isn’t what you want, not bad price for the money but you do get what you pay fo

We bought this to create our own outdoor cinema as some fun for the kids.
It is brilliant! We’ve never used a projector before so we did some research and read reviews and decided on this one.
It came the following day, well packaged with all the cables we needed to watch a movie that night, so no waiting for any other cables.
We tried it out in our living room and shut all the curtains to make it dark and the picture and sound were great. No problems at all. The set up was very easy taking less than five minutes.
We used our amazon fire stick so we could watch movies, Netflix and YouTube.
We have also tried it outside and it again works perfectly. We uploaded videos on Instagram and it got lots of likes and comments and we have recommended this already to friends and family. Definitely recommend this product.

Great picture quality and spans about 98″ in my living room (I have a white wall that I use and it’s just great for Netflix and PS4 etc.)

Only real downside is I am struggling to find replacement bulbs. Elephas seem like a great company but lack any clear website or comms.

Never mind, I’ll just ask an electrician friend of mine what bulb it is when it breaks haha

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI was pleasantly surprised that I was able to watch this during the day without closing the curtains. I’ve uploaded a short video showing daylight footage. As it gets darker the image improves (see picture).

The noise of the fan is a bit of a pain especially as I don’t like the volume too high when watching tv. To be honest though I’m not holding that against it as a cooling fan is essential and I’m not sure you could get one any quieter.

Sound quality is just ok. It’s good enough to watch shows on but I connected a stereo speaker through the audio jack and it improves your viewing a lot.

The remote control is very responsive and can control everything except the focus and tilt of the screen which can be done with the two dials beside the lense (these only require setting once so it’s not a big deal).

Overall I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m sure it’s as good if not better than some more expensive models and it does everything I want it to.

    Good projecto

Bought this for my daughter who started university and really pleased I did. It was easy to set up and I didn’t mind getting a cable that was not included to attach the projector to a macbook pro (but would have been better if it was stated you would need one). The picture quality is really really good and the sound quality. At first I thought the fan was a little noisy but once you have a film on and the audio you don’t notice it. She uses it so much now that she has regular film nights with her other flat mates. For the price i cannot see how you can go wrong.

Our first projector. I took the plunge after toying with the idea and reading reviews of a few options online for a while, and we couldn’t be happier. Exceptionally good value, manual is easy to understand, remote control has the basics and isn’t over-complicated, and the projector image itself is fantastic quality and surprisingly bright and large for what we paid, and there are invert and rear projection options to aid with placement (inverted on a ceiling, behind a screen etc).
Works great with an amazon fire stick and sends power to it from the USB on the projector so no need for a separate plug. Great for Netflix for the kids and amazing for Xbox game nights with the lads. Am looking forward to using it for movie nights in the garden during the summer. The only additional feature i’d wish for is integrated Bluetooth for use with a wireless speaker out of the box, but at this price and quality you really can’t argue, and that could be added simply via a Bluetooth dongle as there are lots of connections to facilitate outputs on the projector itself.
Absolute bargain, don’t hesitate to buy. Am already planning to buy another for a different location.

I own a sony 3000 projector. I bought this one for my sister who wanted a cheap one to use with the kids. I have to admit, I didn’t expect it to be that good!

This projector is good quality and produces a good image. It is fairly small so doesn’t take up much space and is fairly sturdy when stacked on top of books to adjust its height. The angle can be adjusted upwards using the screw on the bottom. The sound of the machine is quite loud and when it’s on it is very audible and wouldn’t be very good for a meeting or something without sound. However, If you are watching a movie, the sound of the film masks the sound.

For the money it costs, definitely a good buy!

For the price A very handy and usecul projector that can handle TV / Films and Games without major issues if you aren’t a snob about display tech

Picture quality is decent, could be better with more fine control on the focus but for the price is good and provides clear edges so while it could be better it suits

Sound isn’t great, but then I expect most are connecting a projector to external speakers anyways, however for portability it suits

Remote is basic, but functions well and isn’t cluttered with buttons or difficult to understand

I’m sorely tempted to get a second for the price and performance

Wasn’t expecting this projector to be so damn good for the price (bought on offer for 60), but was pleasantly shocked at the outstanding picture quality. It arrived well padded in a decent, but fairly plain box, with remote, power lead, hdmi and a RGB type connector (also purchased a multi hdmi adaptor so that we could connect phones, laptops, set top box and tablets).
No need for a fancy box anyway, it’s all about what’s inside. It’s small enough to be portable, the built in speakers are ok but you can easily connect headphones or an external soundbar as we have.
Set up was a doddle, had it connected and adjusted in just 5 minutes. Nice and bright picture (which I wasn’t expecting as I thought that brightness would be determined by price), even watchable in a fairly light room, plenty of keystone adjustment and when you get the focus dialled in it is an impressively sharp picture (we watch it at about 50′ size on a plain white wall).
Made a great gift and hoping with the LED bulb it will have a long life although I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another even at full price.
Really pleased with my purchase, and glad that I researched plenty of reviews before buying.

Great value product with excellent picture quality.

I had already bought an Elephas projector for myself but when my daughter saw it she had to have one. So I ordered this one for her as it is cheaper than the one I got for myself but hoped it would be ok for her needs. Was I surprised. Just as good a picture as my more expensive one. I was blown away when I saw the bright picture in different sizes…the picture is brilliant and the sound is really quite acceptable for her and the kids to watch cartoons or whatever. It accepts many types of media and is up and running in no time. For the price you cannot go wrong, I was amazed. The remote on this one reacts faster than the remote on my more expensive one. I bought the built in wifi and 3D one for myself which is excellent but for a cheaper version you cannot go wrong with this one. Both this one and my one can be viewed in a lit room too, you do not need utter darkness at all. I would say go for Elephas, I recommend to everyone.

I’ve had a much more expensive (old type) projector for several years but it was time to get an LCD one.

This Elephas projector was incredibly cheap compared to my old one but is easily as good, if not better! Some say it has a loud fan noise I don’t think it’s too loud. You certainly forget it’s running once you’re watching a movie or something. The displayed image is much bigger than I expected (I’ve had to reduce the image size to fit it on my screen LOL) & it is so bright! Others have said it works better in a darkened room & this is probably true (like all projectors) but just look how it projects in daylight! You can’t complain, it is so much brighter than I expected!
I ordered mine from Amazon, using the “same day” option & it arrived shortly after 6pm the same day.
It was well packaged & came with an A.V. adapter & also an HDMI lead! It didn’t include any batteries for the remote but you can’t have everything. All you need is a couple of AAA batteries. You can of course use the projector without the remote if needs be.
All in all, I am very pleased with it. Thank you

Excellent LCD projector. Fantastic value & it works a treat! 👍

Bought this as we loved the idea of being able to move it from room to room with ease. We put ours on a tripod stand but you could pop it on shelf if you wanted something more permanent as it’s not overly heavy. Aesthetically it’s not bad on the eye and it’s quite compact which is great. The picture quality is fantastic, we were really impressed. The only niggle is the speaker, we have ended up plugging a portable speaker into it via aux cable as the sound is very tinny, it’s a shame that it doesn’t have Bluetooth built in otherwise we’d have linked it to the soundbar. Fantastic value for money though and we’d definitely recommend it.

My housemates and I bought this projector 3 months ago and we have been quite happy with it in general. We have been using it a few times a week to watch TV and films and have so far not found many problems with the product. I would say in general, the projector definitely matches the description for not being aimed for presentation use as when the screen is static or paused, the edges are rather blurry. However, when the screen is in motion (e.g. when watching a video), the quality of the screen is absolutely amazing.
One thing that we have noticed that could be an issue for some people is the noise of the fan. It can be relatively noticeable during the quiet scenes but hasn’t been a massive problem for us. I would recommend that if you’re using an external speaker, place this close to the fan exit and this should mask the sound of the fan nicely.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this projector for general film use! (though certain aspects could be improved)

Great little projector! quick to set up, easy to use, great for watching films. When I bought this I also ordered a screen, but I needn’t have bothered, this plays great against my light purple wall and even showed up on the really, really dark purple wall!

Within a week of buying this, my brother and my father both got the same make and model 😀

For me the only small drawback is the noise of the fan, but then I have hyper sensitivity. Once something is playing it is not so bad.

Sound is fine on this for me, no need to buy additional speakers.

I am sure there are all singing all dancing projectors out there that others would prefer, but for the price this is a bargain and worth a shot. I’m so glad I got it.

I then could stream movies via Amazon Prime…also using bluetooth on my phone to connect to a small soundbar….I know there are other ways…..but tried this first and worked perfectly…
So one happy customer…I strangely recommend this little projector…5 Stars all the way…

For its cost and size this is a projector that has well exceeded my expectations. It is small enough to fit into a small bed table shelf! I use two 30w PC speakers instead of the built in ones (not bad, but as expected they were not loud enough and they sounded a bit hollow). The projector offers various connectivity options. I only use the hdmi to connect a Google Chromecast which works great for what I had in mind. A second hdmi instead of say the vga port would have been welcome. The room is relative dark with double blinds. You do want to keep lights off when using the projectors (still usable, but not a great experience). The projector does not get too hot. even when placed on a closed shelf. Its not too noisy either. I hardly notice the fan noise when watching movies. Picture quality is very good and captions when watching movies sufficiently crisp. Menus are easy to follow. No real need to make many changes to the default options. Remote control works fine too. I only use it to switch off the projector, as Chromecast can switch the projector on automatically!

I paid 61 total (lightning deal, prime, UK to Ireland), door to door and I cannot fault this little gem one bit. For what I paid for it I’m super pleased. Packaging was perfect and delivery was on time.

Included with the unit was the usual suspects, power cord, HDMI cable, blah, blah. The remote was a cheap plastic but does the job nonetheless although don’t sit on it it will crack. Thankfully the controls are on the unit so no biggie if you do. The unit itself is strong, sturdy, clean and compact. Set up was a breeze although take note I’ve only used the HDMI output for this review. I simply went HDMI out from my video card, into the unit.

Again for the price I paid I was super impressed with the quality of the picture and sound. I’m not going to nit pick on anything, trust me just buy it for that low price. The quality of my video doesn’t do it any justice.

It’s everyone’s preference whether to buy a projector screen or not. A wall would suffice, depending on your room and setup etc but personally I’m glad I picked one up. It makes the colours pop. I’m finding it hard to keep the sticky hooks on wallpaper but that’s another story. The review video isn’t projected onto the screen unfortunately. One thing I will be buying is a projector stand. It would need to be waist high to project where I want and I ain’t using books. An absolute bargain you won’t be disappointed .

    Absolutely fantastic.

Not going to lie, was very skeptical as you would be with a product at this price (not to mention I purchased it when it was on offer, so it was even cheaper. Nevertheless still worth it at full price!).

Really clear picture and brightness is perfect. Having black out curtains is a bonus for even richer, brighter colours.

Sound quality is great considering the size of the projector, but if that’s not good enough, it has a headphone jack/aux port where to can plug in either external speakers, headphones etc.

    Just summing-up the pros and cons;

    Pros;

Has a screw stand to adjust height
    Auxiliary port
    USB port
    SD card port
    HDMI port
    AV port
    VGA port computers

    Cons;

A little noisy fan (but you get use to it for one, secondly, definitely won’t hear it if you have external speakers.
And audio, but you can’t expect a cinema quality sound experience obviously.
Also the screen alignment can be a little fiddley but not a pain.

So basically totally worth the price and more than value for money.

I’m looking at getting a couple more to set up in my eldest son’s room and living room.

    AMAZING!!! Well worth the buy

Once the angle of inclination to the horizontal is adjusted by a screw on the underside, the focus ring and the keystone correction wheel were very intuitive and easily produced a straight and clear image on the wall. I used an HDMI connector from my laptop which worked really well. Using the menu, it was also easy to further improve the picture quality, putting in contrast and brightness. the result is a lot better in colour and sharpness than I had expected. The audio from the projector is not bad, considering it naturally only has small speakers but it’s optional to use them and I found that the audio directly from my MacBook Pro laptop was actually a little bit better. There is also the option of running big speakers from the projector for the full cinematic experience. I’m really impressed with its connectivity, seems to have ports for everything, although I’ve only tried the HDMI one so far.

Two things to watch out for: I’m not used to using projectors and was a little surprised by the noise of the fan when I switched it on in a quiet room in the house. However, I’m reliably told by a member of the family that projectors ‘ all make that noise’. And in fact, I didn’t notice the sound at all when I was giving my talk. It’s probably not suitable for projecting images that have a lot of fine detail or writing. I guess that’s what you pay the big bucks for.

I had been expecting to pay a lot more for a projector of this quality so I’m pleased with my purchase.

This is my first venture into Projectors so I was skeptical of a projector in this price range with so many good reviews. I purchased it over a month ago and waiting to review it as I was expecting something to go wrong. Anyone in a similar situation shouldn’t worry at all it’s a great purchase. I use it in the bedroom, I’ve blackout curtains and the quality is perfect for football and movies. it’s very bright and clear(once you get the focus right!!) so you can get by with watching it during the day. The sound is good, clear, loud enough for most things but i have it at 100% most of the time. easily sorted if you like things loud you can plug in an additional speaker. I wouldn’t replace it as the main tv in the house as my living room is too bright. a few little ocd things… the remote has no volume control, you can adjust the volume on the projector(left – right arrow), there is a light fan noise from the projector kind of like an old laptop nothing too loud, you barely notice it unless theres a quiet moment in the movie. Last thing, before I bought it I looked at some of the photos in other reviews and they don’t do this projector justice, the quality is better irl.

Iv never had a projector before so I was a little apprehensive on buying one and not knowing what is good or bad and best price range , I do believe the more you spend the better value you will get , however I feel this product is amazing for the price good pitcher clear great sound and took me 5 mins to set up , just as good as a tv , I do wish I maybe save do up snd bought the 5500 lumens one from the same company but was just out my price range however still
Under 200 pounds , this was only 69 I paid and the picture quality is bang on good ! So I’m only curious to buy the 5500 lumens one due to I’m surprised it could get better than what I’m getting already but think if I get another one will be for the living room for everyone, but so far I’m so happy with this product ! I think for someone just starting off with projectors this is a great buy , all I will say is please remember if you want larger screen size it’s all about distance from projector to screen not about the machine it self .I made that mistake and had to change rooms lol , over all 10/10

Good picture ,great value for money and easy set up ! 😊

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThe description claims this as having 1080p ‘support’. Potential buyers will no doubt give that a quick glance and purchase the projector based on this. But they should also be aware that this ‘1080p support’ is NOT real High Def projection. The native (internal) resolution is actually 800×400. So if you connect a blu ray player, your high def image is being scaled down to a 800×400 resolution and then outputted at 1080p. What this means is it’s basically shrinking and then enlarging that resulting shrunken image as opposed to projecting genuine 1080p. The only benefit to this is it smoothens out the sharpness of HD and gives the image a more gentle, anti-aliased cinematic feel. If you’re looking for a projector that projects real HD I would suggest looking for a model with the words ‘1080p Native’ in the specs. Brightness-wise, the image could also do with a few more lumens as I found it slightly low in the brightness dept for my liking but still acceptable. Design-wise, the projector looks nice and comes in a sturdy package.

When I ordered this item, I was attracted to the fact that it was advertised as ‘1080p supported’. Before it was delivered however, I read the description more carefully and noticed that it said it’s native resolution was actually 800 x 400, and I felt a little duped, and was worried that I would be disappointed with the product, as the projector I was upgrading from was also 800 x 400. However, when I set it up, I was not disappointed at all. I have a 57 inch screen from approximately 210cm away, and the picture quality is surprisingly good. The brightness works well even when the room is slightly lit, but I think the photo in the product description is very misleading, where it shows people sat outside on a sunny day using it – that clearly would not work. The remote control does everything you would need it to, however it was a little disappointing that it didnt come with batteries.

Not as disappointed as I thought I may be

I wasn’t sure what to expect having never owned a projector before. My first impression was its simplicity. You can literally take this little light device straight out of the box, plug in and play. The buttons are clearly displayed on top and also on the remote, so most who but this product should be able to use it!
As for the picture watching movies or videos is great. Adjusting the colours and contrast etc is also simple to help enhance the experience. I also played a few games on this, and even though it was enjoyable due to the size of the picture, it wasn’t as clear for certain parts of a game, particularly first person shooting games. Driving games on the other hand are better! So I would say as an all round device for the price of 70. You cant really go wrong.

My wife was sceptical about this being anywhere near good quality as it is a hell of a lot cheaper than the expensive big brand named projectors. She isn’t one to be surprised but tonight when I gave it a go for the first time after buying a projector screen and she was blown away. The quality of the picture was amazing, it was a lot better than I could have hoped for. The noise that came from the fan you could hear but not enough that you cannot hear the movie your watching. Some of the other projectors I have had in the past have sounded like they were going to take off but this one was real nice. Super easy to setup and your on your way. The only gripe I had was the power lead wasn’t overly that long, but it was a figure of 8 port so I had loads of them lying around the house, plus to that they are dirt cheap to get a hold of. I have no idea why this has been given any bad reviews at all? I will be uploading some pictures over the weekend when I get this bad boy back out.

This is my first personal projector, I had used them at a work before but never at a particular level… I was looking at fancy ones (over 300) and never decided as was not convinced for the real use at home…
Then I came back by this little thing at this even smaller price! I decided to buy firstly because the great reviews it has and secondly because I thought that at this price it was perfect for a first and to check out if I do really have a use for it.
Pros: set up super easy, quality of video incredible! (better than the ones at work and at 1/3 of the size!), and connections all of them! Sound not the best but loud and clear (you won’t need to add speakers if you don’t want to although I did!) and portable enough to take it even your bag pack or hand luggage.
Cons: I only wished if it had WIFI connectivity to make it super easier to connect! Although the ones I checked with this feature were with a price tag of over 300 plus…
Overall a happy customer here! Thanks!

Just what I was looking for in a value projector. It has already proved itself well for movie nights in the garden and appears to have all the means to work for small scale and more informal PPT presentations too, such as in a small community hall.

It comes well packaged and includes an HDMI lead too. There’s also a useful remote control included. The software is adequate and navigated on screen using either the remote or the buttons on the top of the projector. The image is good and easily bright enough for movies after the sun has gone down and in a room with blinds partly drawn.

A couple of points that may help when you take yours out of the box to use it. Firstly make sure if connecting up to watch a dvd that the dvd player’s sound settings are set to make it compatible. On first use we encountered only silence and discovered this was because the projector cannot process Dolby 5:1 and possibly some other of the more advanced sound settings you’d generally use with a tv set up. Setting the dvd to a more basic sound set up did the trick, the sound suddenly started and stopped us thinking there might be a fault in the projector and considering sending it back.

While there are two small speakers on the bottom of the projector, for good sound you’ll find it better to set up something like a small JBL speaker connected by a lead to the headphone socket on the projector. The volume level is then controlled by using the < or > controls on the remote when your dvd has started to play. Setting at around the 85 level should be about right.

The projector has connections for HDMI, VGA, Sd card, and USB stick. So overall its very adaptable and highly suitable for the occasional uses that I’ll be making of it.

    Overall a great buy!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is actually my second (updated) review. I have received a faulty product on my first order and was very disappointed and hence returned it straight back. However after sometime as my search for decent project again led me to this same product, I decided to give it another shot. And I am happy that I did, this little machine does what it should at this price point.
Use it from the recommended distance and you get the decent clear image, use it with a tripod for straight line projection and you will see amazing picture quality with edge to edge clarity.
Key here is projection distance and direction, keep the projector distance between 1-1.5 m and make sure it has nearly straight line projection.
    Portability – High
    Sound – Good
Picture clarity – Amazing for price
Product life/durability – Using it for a month now without issues but can’t comment about product life at this point.
Giving one star less for limited key stone correction range.
Also it would be great if seller shares the IR profile to control projector using firestick remote.

Nice little projector at amazing price

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI’ll start by saying that I didn’t even realise you could get a projector for less than 100 these days. So the fact that this is closer to 50 frankly blows my mind.

That being said, given its small price tag, I was a bit sceptical if it would actually be any good but I can genuinely say I was pleasantly surprised overall.

I’ll quickly get the bad bits out of the way. So, it’s not exactly quiet but it’s not a jet engine either and I’m sure would be drowned out by the audio to some extent. In addition to this the built-in speakers are pretty poor but thanks to the headphone/audio out jack you can easily connect some externally powered speakers to get around this. To be fair, it’s job is to provide good video so speakers are somewhat of a sweetener in the deal.

Now for the good, connectivity is versatile with VGA, Composite and HDMI inputs and ability to directly connect a USB flash drive or memory card to play your multimedia content.

The form factor of the projector is nice and compact, not that heavy and seems like a fairly sturdy build quality albeit plastic.

I’ve mainly been using it with my android set top box connected by HDMI and the picture quality has been more than acceptable and suitably sharp once focus adjusted even when projecting a fair sized image on the wall.

When I bought this I was fully expecting to have to be in a pitch black room to use it but even in my living room with a decent amount of daylight coming in I was still able to view the image quite easily.

In the box you’ll get a composite lead, HDMI cable and a neat little remote control.

Overall this is a great wee projector and provides a feature rich product with lots of bells and whistles for such a small amount of money.

I recently bought this projector, to link up with an amazon fire box for the bedroom instead of having a massive TV constantly in your vision and making full use of the smooth light wall.

For the price the projector is very good and it did make you think why would you spend so much on a TV when you can have a huge cinema screen in your room instead! For well under 100 when you add things like a tripod and MHL cable for streaming from your phone.
The great thing is its so versatile with plenty of connection methods, with a simple menu and remote system.

As for image of course on a darker environment the picture is superb, but equally in day light the image is more than fine and certainly watchable, but in the evening the picture really does pop! Colours are bright and very good tones again considering the price, its no surprise its got lots of great reviews.

As for sound, the sound is good for inbuilt speakers, there is some fan noise as with many projectors, but not in a annoying distracting way and the sound is clear and crisp. The one thing I struggled at first with ear how to increase or decrease the volume, but this is simply done by using either left or right on the remote.
It’s also worth noting that the syncing of the sound with the image from everything I’ve seen is just perfect advertising better than you are on some tv’s.

There are a few functions I’ve not used as of yet but I have no reason to doubt that they won’t be great!

Overall very impressed with the projector and would recommend to anyone in the market for a well priced projector.

Please note in the images shown you may think that the image isn’t quite square, firstly I had only recently set it up plus I have the projector on one side of the room and from previous experiences this tends to exaggerate one side to the other but this projector you really don’t notice it the same.

So it’s nice to get a product that does what it says well and you feel you’ve got a bargain or value for money, I’m actually very surprised and pleased by the quality

Thankyou ELEPHAS for a great projecto

I have to say that this projector is fantastic. I thought long and hard before purchasing it, but I weighed up the price against the various comments and went for it.

It is perfect for home use and we’ve connected it to both a laptop via the HDMI cable and have also been using it with our Amazon Fire TV stick. Both work perfectly.

Via the Fire Stick, I’ve connected the projector to a Bluetooth speaker which makes the viewing experience much better. The in-built speaker isn’t too bad but I prefer it with an external device. That said, the remote control won’t allow you to control volume when connected to a Bluetooth speaker using Fire Stick connection.

We’re projecting onto our living room wall from about three to four metres away and the resolution is great.

I really didn’t expect this level of picture quality. In the week we’ve had the projector, it’s replaced our main TV screen. My wife even did her morning exercise routine using the projector to stream her workout video.

I’ve used YouTube, Netflix, Channel 4 catch-up and BBC’s iPlayer as well as the Mirror Cast feature on my Samsung Galaxy. All these were via the Fire Stick plugged in.

The fan sound is obviously present but you don’t really notice it when viewing videos.

    Can’t recommend this enough.

I was a bit skeptical of the 5 star reviews for this projector, but after having it for a few days I am really impressed and glad I bought it.

I bought this to replace an old TV set in my daughters bedroom, and I’ve set it up so that it’s projecting across the room onto a pull down blackout window blind, that just happens to be white in colour. Very handy screen..!

Fiddled around with the settings, aspect ratio and focus and managed to achieve a really decent picture. Not HD by any means, but a decent watchable picture nonetheless. I’m using a Fire TV stick as the HDMI source for this and it works really well. Sound is Ok, comparable to the sound from a TV speaker. Fan noise is acceptable and you don’t really notice it when watching content.

Overall, very pleased with my purchase, and I managed to get it on a lightning deal as well, although I wouldn’t have been disappointed if I’d paid the full price.

I purchased this ELEPHAS GC333 Portable Projector for my grown-up, tech-age daughters to replace an older, much more expensive one that needed a new bulb costing almost 100. Decided to look around for a new projector instead and, after researching many around the 50-75 mark chose this, primarily due to the reviews it had.
We have not been disappointed in the two months we have had it!
Whilst not as many pixels per inch as the old projector, it is perfectly adequate for watching movies and television programmes via an X-Box One. The colours and brightness are superb. We have ours also connected to a soundbar and, again, this is more than adequate (not sure if the in-built speaker would be, however.
Both my children would not be slow in giving me negative feedback. In fact, they have, unusually, both given very positive feedback about this ELEPHAS GC333 Portable Projector. That is more than good enough for me. A great purchase at a great price, more than adequate for our needs. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great projector for the price. Based on the normal prices for brand name projectors I had low expectations for the product. After using for a week I’m really impressed with the product.

I’ve used it with a Roku stick, firetv and usb drive all work well. So much so that I prefer to watch my films on this rather than my tv now.

In regards to the resolution, although not 4K or 1080, it’s 720. Once you scale up to the larger projected size. The resolution is great and images sharp.

I plugged in a external speaker but there is one built which handy. Fan noise, as it’s a projector there no escaping projectors will be noisier. Just crank up the volume and marvel at the enormous screen image.

I projected onto a beige wall and colour and contrast is great. The image is roughly 72 inches diagonally in the photo.

All in all one the best value products I purchased in a while, based on cost and value.

Great little projector for the price

I am absolutely impressed with the projector for a great value. Such a small product and its sound and picture quality are fantastic.
More importantly, it’s so easy to use. It comes with an HDMI cable, a 3-way Audio/Video cable and power cable.

The picture quality is pretty impressive with a 720p video, very clear and the colour was pretty bright during the low light condition. To turn the focuser it’s quite inconvenient but can be done easily. And that’s by gripping the top wide and bottom narrower part of the focuser to twist it back and forth. The brightness beyond my expectations and I been enjoying the movies and sports on a large screen and the clear picture quality.

Surprisingly, the projector has two infrared receivers built in front of and behind the projector and the design is very convenient for use. The menus are easy to navigate and
if you read the manual you will find a lot of details to make the image look great and better. The sound is so loud than expected and this has two loudspeakers and two power cooling socket. Especially the fan is so quiet than expected.

Definitely, you will not be disappointed and I highly recommend this item for who wants a theatre-quality and size of the picture. I

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery pleased with this so far. Worked straight out of the box although I did have trouble with the sound initially but Elephas advice online corrected the issue … nothing to do with the projector and everything to do with the “format” that my DVD was sending the sound out in!

Searched for a while through the onscreen menus for the keystone setting but then discovered that it is a manual wheel on the projector itself just behind the focus ring. I’m used to being able to make, perhaps, slightly more keystone adjustments but I’m being picky and spending a bit of time getting the screen and projector more aligned isn’t a bad discipline anyway. Should be plenty adjustment once that’s done.

Seems to be a good quality product and fantastic price for what you’re getting.

    Would recommend.

My wife had severe reservations about my ordering it where would we, why would we, when would we use it etc.
The projector arrived in an untypically environmentally friendly package. I was super excited to say the least.
Having unpacked it and placed it on the garden table I fired it up with a google play stick and within moments we were watching tv on a 100 inch screen in the garden drinking wine. Such a delight.
I’m a little bit of an audio snob but the sound reproduction from the internal speakers was excellent and of course there is an audio out if you chose to plug in an external speaker.
Needless to say my wife is a convert and we will be spending many evenings in the garden enjoying this fantastic little projector.

The picture quality is amazing and we only suffered a few glitches but that was due to our internet connection and not the projector.

All in all I (and my wife) are absolute converts and are constantly checking the weather for when we can next watch a film in the garden.

If you don’t buy anything else then buy this it will change how you view tv.

I bought this projector thinking it would be something to enhance my movie watching experience at home. I wasnt sure what to expect and didnt really want to spend alot of money so I opted to go for this projector. Since it arrived I’ve watched numerous movies on it and even normal tv as in my opinion it is just amazing!

The quality of the image produced is far better than most televisions and with the lights off it really does feel like you are sat in the cinema. Its crispy clear and the sound is really good aswell which contributes to that immersive cinematic experience.

Using the projector is super easy, it has controls that allow you to adjust focus and angle so that the image is straight and clear. It has hdmi and usb and sd car inputs aswell as sound output too so you can connect a soundbar for example if you wish. It was straightforward to hook up my fire stick to the projector which works perfectly on it just like my phone and laptop too.

The projector doesn’t give off alot of fan noise either which I heard is a problem with some lower quality ones. It runs smoothly and you cant even hear its on which helps keep focus on the movies.

Overall I would definitely recommend this projector to anyone looking for that cinema experience at home. Its definitely a quality product and im glad I didnt spend alot more for a similar quality projector.

One of my nine year old’s main birthday presents, we searched for weeks when deciding what to get him. Being a big gaming fan with an Xbox we thought a projector would be a great way to experience game play at its best. We eventually settled for this one because of its low price but more so good reviews. He could not be any happier! This is a powerful little model and the results are near perfect. With easy to use controls both via the remote and on the projector itself, it produces a quality picture and the sound level is also ideal. I don’t think we were expecting such a high quality projector, considering the lower price tag, but this is well worthy of a five star rating. We have in addition to this purchased separately a screen and a ceiling bracket.

I’ve only used it so far connected to my laptop & playing a disc through that but you can insert SD cards to view photos or plus a USB directly into it. It has got HDMI & can also be plugged into your DVD player if you want to project it to another wall for cinema nights I really like the touch of the remote control so I can work it without having to get off the sofa Oh yeah and make sure you take the lens cover off the front of it before you use it pr else the picture will just be blurry! Oopsie!

Compact & very easy to use once you know how.

Although this had excellent reviews, I wasn’t really expecting to be as impressed as i was.

Whenever I purchase new A/V equipment for my home, I always read magazines and tend to buy award winning products – and have never been dissapointed with them.

I wanted a cheap projector to try having a garden cinema, with the thought of upgrading to a more professional system if I used it enough.

Well I can definately say, that having used this projector I don’t see any need to pay hundreds of pounds more, because it is absolutley brilliant.

Really easy to set up and adjust to get a great picture. Easy to focus and the quality is amazing at this price point – in fact it would still be amazing at 4 or 5 times the price.

I would say that the speaker could do with being a bit louder, but as I am connecting it to an amp with seperate speakers, it doesn’t affect me that much.

All this and a 3 year guarantee makes this a really excellent buy.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBought this projector a couple of weeks back and have tried it out a few times during day (inside) and in (near) darkness outside in the garden. Previously I looked at 300+ projectors and was willing to spend it too but because I wasn’t sure if it was going to work in the gazebo, I thought I would “try” a cheap projector first. I have to say that the overall results are WAY BETTER than expected for such a ‘cheap’ projector:
    – Picture quality is good for sure (day or dark)
    – Brightness in the day is ‘ok’ but probably no more than that. However, in the evening in (near) darkness, it is absolutely fine (we use it inside the gazebo in the garden).
    – Sound is good too: way better than expected. Particularly impressed with the clarity for spoken content of films etc. Sure, it’s no BOSE quality but given this projector is half the price of my small BOSE speaker, I’m very happy. Also note that there are sound settings in the projector’s on-screen menu that allow you to pick a sound setting that works best for the content you are watching (film, music, general audio etc)

As for ‘content’ to watch: to get Netflix/Amazon prime etc, the easiest way is to connect an Amazon firestick directly into the projector and you get all your Amazon Prime content PLUS anything from the apps you can have on the fire stick (yes, including Netflix etc). It all projects fine with good sound.
FYI: there are cables for sale to connect an iphone/ipad direct to a HDMI device (such as this projector). Seen some reviews that claim they don’t work. I bought one (a 5 one from Amazon, deliberately starting cheap to ‘test’ the principle) and can confirm they DO work: you can mirror your iphone screen without any problem. BUT, as the sellers of such cables state, they don’t work with protected content such as Amazon prime, Netflix etc. But like I said, just hook up a Fire stick directly into the projector and you’re good to go!

Looks like I need not look any more for another projector… 🙂 Definitely recommend this projector!

Golden Review Award: 77 From Our UsersSo I’ve been looking to invest in a projector and before I splurged I thought I should buy something budget friendly and play around with it. This was I would have some context… so here we are

There are a lot of 5* reviews and there are many 1* reviews too, so I felt conflicted but I still went ahead with it. Worst case scenario, I return it right ???

Installation was easy. Literally plug it in and turn on the power button. What did throw me off was the fact you need to remove the safety lid around the bulb. So do that.

I plugged in a USB and tried watching south park. It was great. The size went to probably 90 or 100 inches and it was actually clear. Just to mention, it was daylight and I could see the picture clearly.

Sound wasnt amazing but we all know this, I connected it to my surround system and voila. Worked great.

The true test was at night time so i waited till it was dark and played infinity war. I figured a live action with a lot of movement would be a good test.

Honestly, there was a bit of lag at times and sitting in odd angles could make you feel a bit woozy but all in all it was great.

The remote does all the basic functions. You can colour correct, skil forward rewind pause etc.

The fan isn’t too loud and once you get over the buzz, it becomes non existent.

    I would recommend this.

    Pleasantly surprised

As the owner of a branded projector costing just shy of 500 I was looking for an led projector for a second room. I purchased a C760 model, because of the price and for the excellent customer reviews. As both projectors are ceiling mounted, I was looking for a 3rd projector, that could be portable, at a reasonable price, and with cracking reviews. Amazon had this, elephas projector as a lightning deal, and after reading reviews I decided to buy. I don’t often write reviews, but felt compelled to do so, for this amazing projector. The compact size and incredible performance, coupled with a quality feel to the case, and a really neat design, belies the small price I paid for it. I’m that impressed, I’m going to buy a spare. It’s amazing, and almost up to the standard of the branded projector! The only gripe I have is that cables exit from the side, but this is mainly down to the compact size. Don’t let me put you off. Take the plunge, and bag a bargain. This elephas projector doesn’t disappoint.

I am absolutely impressed with the projector for a great value. Such a small product and it’s sound and picture quality are fantastic.
More importantly, it’s so easy to use. It comes with an HDMI cable, a 3-way Audio/Video cable and power cable.

The picture quality is pretty impressive with a 720p video, very clear and the color was pretty bright during the low light condition.

Definitely, you will not be disappointed and I highly recommend this item for who wants a theater quality and size of the picture.

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersInitially I thought it won’t meet my requirements as I bought one little costlier projector in Jan-2019 and got disappointed hence returned it.
But The picture quality of this Elephas Projector is sharp and bright. It can be focused depending on the distance. I projected it onto the white coloured wall (see attached video and pics)

picture is very clear also sound quality is very good. The menu is very easy to excess and navigate. The unit is quite small in size that’s very compact I feel. Little bit noisy but believe me it’s there for all projectors. I didn’t feel to have external speakers as sound quality is outstanding and loud which will overcomes the projector noise.

It comes with everything you need – remote, lens cover, HDMI cable, power cable, even a screw for easy set up. The another thing which I like is remote control. Nice, superbly built and easy to use.

As of now I connected it by HDMI and USB and I got very good response, no lag at all. Want to try this with Fire TV Stick.

Over all projector is with superb quality and doesn’t look cheap at all by looking at price. And I honestly recommend this product comparing my last two buys

This Projector is actually Impressive with Amazing Bargain Prise !!!

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersIts now 1 month, i am using this projector. Surprisingly it has low noise, picture quality is good. Though the video attached is 4k and its good projection quality can be seen, but still normal videos are also good. Best part is brightness, during day time, if room windows are covered, pics are easily viewed. So far good exp….

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHonestly cannot believe that I managed to purchase this item for a little over 60, that is some serious value for money right there….

I cannot recommend this product enough.

It came securely packaged in a well protected box and setting up the projector was a breeze following the included instructions. The power cable is a little short but I had a longer one (figure 8 type) lying around so I just used that. If you don’t have one then you can always use an extension lead.

There are several options you can use to get some sort of video running1 through the projector. There is a HDMI input for blue-ray players, dvd’s, fire stick etc. There is a VGA input for hooking up a laptop/computer and there is also a usb input which is the one that I use. I simply put a few video files onto a USB stick, plugged it in and was ready to rock n roll.

At the time of this review the screen I also ordered hadn’t arrived yet so I was just projecting onto a bedroom wall and it did a great job, the room wasn’t very dark as I took the images/video during the daytime but still perfectly watchable with sharp colours and a crisp image. This projector punches well above its weight and looks and acts like a much more expensive one.

The sound output is actually really good from the built in speakers but you do have the option to attach external speakers if you want to.

All in all an amazing product for a ridiculously low cost, if you are looking for a home movie projector set up on a budget then this is the one for you. Highly recommended.

    Unbelievable Value For Money

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe quality of the video is amazingly good. I could try and make it work on USB/SD, HD/AV & VGA connections using my USB drive/SD cards, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 & 4 (MHL adapter needed for Note 4) and one of my desktop PCs that still has a DVI port that allowed me to use a DVI/VGA connector. It took some time to figure out how to make each connection work, but ultimately all worked well. I am using the projector to watch movies & videos on my room wall as a big screen while exercising on a treadmill. The LED light source is perfectly bright enough to use at close range or in subdued lighting, though it is at its best in a dark room. While not up to the brightness of the mercury lamps used in up-market projectors, the LED lamp has the advantage of cool running and a very long maintenance-free lifetime. Colour rendition and sharpness are very good. The sound seems decent also but I will be plugging it into some speakers I own.

How can anyone not love this projector?

Golden Review Award: 132 From Our UsersEdit 2021
Just brought it out again for the summer time outside cinema. Still going strong after we bought it in 2019. One of our best buy from Amazon, brought so much joy in to the summer nights. The last picture is taken just yesterday august 2021, superb quality projector

Bought this to use it in the garden to have our own outside cinema, while sitting in the hot tub. I am surprised how clear the picture is and so easy to use. We use an amazon fire stick with it, you can just plug it in and go, watch whatever you want. For the price it’s an amazing piece of kit. Has in built speakers but I personally would use an external speaker with it. You have plenty of inputs, AVI, SD card, USB, VGA port and HDMI. Small and light weight, but a very capable projector. Defiantly would recommend!

    Amazing portable projecto

The appearance of this projector meets my expectations

Which is the symbol of the purity and noble and it also has a unique shape.
For me, there is nothing better.

Projection effect: high brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 800*480P resolution, such a configuration,
such a low price, high performance-price ratio.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis has such a great picture. I must admit I was dubious because it’s so inexpensive. But it’s a cracking piece of kit and a great price. The picture is crisp and bright. It’s easy to use and the remote control is very good. It’s well packaged as you can see from the pictures. It’s not bulky like I thought it would be.
I’m glad I took a chance on this.

Awesome! These are probably going to sell out fast!

Golden Review Award: 210 From Our UsersI cannot recommend this projector enough – I absolutely love this!
For such a small product, it’s sound and picture quality is fantastic. More importantly, it’s so easy to use.

I initially forgot about buying an HDMI cord. However, when I opened this projector they already had one in the box which works great. Couldn’t believe it was already there for me. It comes with an HDMI cable, a 3-way Audio/Video cable and power cable.

At first I couldn’t adjust the focus to the best condition and the image was blurred, which made me very disappointed. When I tried again, the picture became very clear and the color was very bright. To turn the focuser it’s not convenient to just turn but there is a knack to make it easier. And that’s by gripping the top wide and bottom narrower part of the focuser to twist it back and forth. Once you got this then its second nature.
The brightness beyond my expectations. I am very excited to watch the NBA, the large screen and the clear picture quality.

I am very surprised that the projector has two infrared receivers built in front of and behind the projector. This design is very convenient for my use. Because I have an old projector only one infrared receiver in front, I need to stand in front of the projector every time I use the remote control.

The menus are easy to navigate and
if you read the manual you will find a wealth of tweaks to make the image look great. And very detailed usage steps, mobile phone connection.

It have two loudspeakers and two power cooling socket. The sound is so loud that I often turn down the volume when I use it.If you use it in a relatively empty place, you can connect an external speaker.
The fan is so quiet that I can hardly detect its existence.

This unit is quite small in size, but don’t let its size fool you. The possibilities of this device are endless. I’d definitely have to say you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this item for everyone that wants that Movie theater quality and size of the picture without the costly movie theater concession prices. You can watch movies at any time of any day and enjoy them with all your family and friends.

Golden Review Award: 66 From Our UsersI am a person who likes to take pictures, specifically interested in all the aspects of the natural world and even the small details. I always love to try something new and different to succeed in my career.

It’s my dream to travel around the world and snap the beautiful pictures of this world with my tiny camera and inspired in youtube with the name Lei’s Adventures Official Channel. hope one day,I also can become a you-tuber that can share my pictures from all over the world.

When I met my friend last time, he used a projector to play the movie. The experience is very realistic and natural. I interested to purchase one for my hobby, So it will help me to visualize my pictures. After a lot of searches at Amazon, I decided to go with this projector because of good reviews and a detailed description of the product as well as,
it perfectly fitted within my budget.

This project is easy to set up by just following the operation manual. To test the projector,
I tried with some of my recent pictures, and the image was crisp and clear. It was perfect even during night time.

Although, it was not satisfying as a theater projector,
for this price scale it does an excellent job. In addition to that,
it is more compact and lightweight than expected and perfectly worked with all my devices.
    Well worth the money!

    Not good, but grea

Golden Review Award: 533 From Our UsersWhen I bought this projector I really didn’t know what to expect. I’ve wanted a projector for a while to have cinema nights with the kids in the house and in the garden so didn’t want to be spending hundreds of pounds but I also didn’t want to buy a poor quality one which would be hard to watch.

I bough this one and it was a bargain because it had a voucher to apply too.

The projector arrived and I couldn’t wait to open it and get it get up.
There are lots of connections on the projector including a HDMI, USB and SD Card.

First I wanted to test out the HDMI connection as that is the main one I’ll be using.
I connected the projector to my Blueray player, plugged it in and powered them both on. I was soon met with a picture on my wall which was out of focus. Using the wheel on the front of the projector the focus was set in seconds. There is also another wheel to adjust the aspect of the picture in-case you have the projector positioned lower or higher than the picture.

Changing the input to HDMI in the menu using the buttons on the projector, or by using the remote was as simple as it can get and soon I was watching my Blu ray on the wall. The picture is very good and whilst you need to turn the lights in the room off or at least dim them the picture is pretty bright.

There are a lot of settings on the device such as picture mode, colour temperature, aspect ratio, noise reduction and HDMI mode.
The most useful settings for me are “Reduce Display Size” incase the only position available means the picture is too big for your screen.
The other setting is Projection direction which allows the projected picture to be flipped upside-down should you want to mount the projector on the ceiling. It also allows the mirroring of the picture which allows the projector to be placed behind the projection screen.
Amazing amount of settings and featured from a device which only costs this much.

The projector also features stereo speakers and and the sound from them was pretty decent to be fair, It’s never going to be cinema quality but it’s more than adequate and if you want better sound you can always use different speakers.

The projector is not silent and you wouldn’t expect it to be. The noise produced it caused by the fan which is needed to keep the projector cool. Is it too noisy? Not at all. Once you’re watching something and the audio is playing you don’t notice it.

In summary this projector is brilliant. Its features are beyond what you would expect for a projector of this price and the picture is fantastic quality and of a good brightness. There are plenty of settings and adjustments available and the sound from the unit is great for a normal sized room.

I’m expecting to use this projector a lot in the future and it’s going to make my 2 daughters very happy when they get to watch their films on the big screen.

For the price this projector is brilliant. Very impressed
