Great light, I use mine on one side and the Keylight Air on the other and it lights my face really well without casting shadows behind me. Very good quality, high price though.
Great portable keying ligh
It’s by Elgato, so it’s going to look and feel premium. It’s a fantastic portable light that can come in handy for an abundance of lighting possibilities even beyond the whole streaming scenario and uses. A bit pricey but overall a worthy purchase.

This is a very bright light but diffused enough that you can have it shine direct at your face.
You can connect it to HomeBridge and then to HomeKit for automation, or just write an API call to automate if you are inclined.
Easy to use, very bright and pretty expensive but it’s been worth it so far in my opinion.

Das Elgato Key Light Air nutze ich fr Webkonferenzen oder als Schreibtischausleuchtung.
Das Key Light Air hat sich problemlos mit dem WLAN verbinden lassen.
Die Verpackung war umweltfreundlich nur aus festerem Papier und Kartonagen.
Fr meine Zwecke reicht mir das Key Light Air vollstndig aus und ich bin damit sehr zufrieden.

Very easy to set up on wifi with the Google Nest. Comes with a variety of plug adapters including UK, so not sure why someone said it didn’t.
Easy app control on the iPhone and Mac OS. There is also API controls for those that fancy making shortcut buttons on the keyboard or automation.

Habe die Lichter jetzt seit ein paar Monaten und ich lieber sie. Man kann sehr gut die Helligkeit und die Temperatur einstellen. Was ich zur Verbesserung vorschlagen wrde, dass man es auch mit einer Fernbedienung steuern kann, da falls der Router ausfllt, kann man die Lichter nicht steuern. Aber ansonsten ist alles perfekt.

Una opcin con la que trabajo cada da. Muy manejable e intuitivo. El punto positivo son la calidad de los materiales y las posibilidades de luminosidad. El punto negativo es que depende en todo momento de una app en mvil u ordenador y a veces si el wifi falla hay que resetear. Como recomendacin deberan desarrollar un panel de mandos en el propio dispositivo o un mando a distancia para no depender de actualizaciones de otros dispositivos.

Ich habe 2 Leuchten auf Empfehlung eines Arbeitskollegen gekauft um mich in meiner schlecht ausgeleuchteten Ecke am Schreibtisch fr Video-Konferenzen besser sichtbar zu machen.
Die Steuerung, die App und die Helligkeit sind ideal. ber den Tag verteilt muss ich von Zeit zu Zeit die Helligkeit anpassen, um optimal ausgeleuchtet zu sein.
Meinen Kollegen ist die deutliche Besserung direkt aufgefallen, da sie gesamte Bildqualitt einfach besser geworden ist, durch die bessere Ausleuchtung.
Die Montage der Leuchten war schnell erledigt und durch die Aufstellung in etwas hherem Winkel habe ich weder Reflektionen auf der Brille, noch das Gefhl geblendet zu werden.

Initial software set up to get lamp to join WiFi network took a number of repeated attempts but by third go connectivity was successful and lamp joined my WiFi network.
Tablet/phone app seems basic but in practice, very functional. App has button to turn lamp on/off and two slider bars. One for rapid increase/decrease of brightness and one for changing cold to warm colour spectrum.
Very happy with purchase of this lamp and will now purchase a second one to complete the set up.
Sollte Softbox ersetze
Die LED-Leuchte sollte eine billig Softbox (70×50) mit Lampe und Stativ ersetzen, die ich fr Videokonferenzen benutze.
Die billig Softbox erfllt zwar sehr gut seinen Zweck ist aber visuell sehr dominant und nicht sehr schick.
Daher habe ich mir die LED Leuchte von Elgato bestellt.
Ich muss schon sagen, die Qualitt, das Design, die App-Integration und die Lichtstrke ist sehr beeindruckend.
Im Vergleich zur Softbox empfand ich das Licht aber bei Weitem nicht so weich. Auch blendete es mich etwas mehr. Evtl bin ich hier etwas mehr blend-empfindlich, Kollegen haben damit kein Problem.
Daher ging sie leider wieder zurck.

La compr principalmente porque quera una lmpara para estudio y de paso para tener ms luz en los streamings. Es super cmoda de usar, ilumina muchsimo, yo siempre la uso al 25-30%, la nica pega es que para usarla necesitas tener una conexin wifi y un telfono o tablet conectado a esa conexin.

Grandisimo panel led, y si es de elgato no defrauda. Es caro pero merece la pena. El nico inconveniente es que me ha costado conectarlo a la wifi de mi casa tras varios intentos hasta que al final lo pude vincular. Por lo dems ningn problema hasta ahora, he mejorado la iluminacin de mis videos, cuando pueda comprar su pareja.

Parto da un presupposto che sicuramente i prodotti elgato non sono lowbudget ma hanno un costo elevato ma la qualit sicuramente elevata! Calidad acorde a lo que pagas
No es un producto barato pero se ve excelente desde el packaging hasta el software. Da una luz excelente, se puede regular de forma extremadamente sencilla desde la app (y por supuesto con el StreamDeck) y la construccin se ve slida y de muy buena calidad.
La instalacin es un poco peculiar, tienes que estar en una red de 2.4 para que el dispositivo “aparezca” como dispositivo WIFI (al menos en Mac) y una vez conectado lo puedes asociar a la red wifi que quieras, tanto si es de 2.4 como de 5). Una vez asociado, lo puedes dejar siempre con el switch de encendido y manejarlo remotamente, como pasa por ejemplo en las bombillas Philips Hue.
De cantidad de luz, a tope da MUCHA luz, pero probablemente si vas a usar un chroma tengas que tener otro para rellenar (de hecho es el setup que se suele recomendar).
En resumen, MUY buen producto, nada barato pero de excelente experiencia de uso.

L’application (disponible sur mobile & sur ordinateur) est trs simple d’utilisation et SUPER pratique.
J’ai achet 2 Elgato Light Air (pour en avoir une de chaque ct), les 1400 Lumens de chaque lampe suffisent LARGEMENT.
On peut rgler la chaleur de la lumire: d’un trs blanc un trs orang.
La lumire est bien diffuse et ne scintille pas.
Certes onreux comme produit, mais perso je ne regrette absolument rien, je suis tranquille.
Le produit se branche une prise 220V, et se connecte en WiFi pour tre accessible depuis l’application.

Nutze das Produkt hauptschlich fr Video Calls (MS Teams & Zoom … ) auf einem / mit einem MacBook Pro. Die Einstellungen ber die App laufen bestens, die Farbtemperatur ist sehr gut einstellbar. Bislang sehr zuverlssig.
Super Produkt, jedoch aufpassen bei den WLAN Einstellunge
Zu aller erst, sollte das Gert bei euch via WLAN NICHT den Router auffinden, so ndert testweise einmal eure WLAN-Sicherheitsstufe auf WPA2 Co.. Anscheinend verschwinden manche Router mit bestimmter Sicherheitsstufe in der Suche und machen so eine Registrierung im WLAN Netz unmglich.
Ist das Problem gelst (wie es auch bei mir war) geht es eigentlich recht flott und die Gerte sind binnen Sekunden einsatzbereit! Einmal die App am PC ffnen, meine beiden Elgato Key Light aktivieren und schwups habe ich die perfekten Lichtverhltnisse. Die Einstellungsmglichkeiten sind hierbei perfekt, einmal Helligkeitsstufe als auch Farbwert (kaltes wei bis warm wei) lassen sich einfach und zeitnah einstellen. Einstellungen bleiben bei mir auch nach Wochen vorhanden und lschen sich glcklicherweise nicht, wie es ggf. bei anderen das Problem war.
Wer einen kleinen Schreibtisch hat, sollte lieber auf Tischbefestigungen zurckgreifen, denn die Stative der Lampen bentigen schon ein wenig Platz und knnen so ggf. stren.

Funciona bien pero no siempre
A veces se deconecta de la app y hay que volver a iniciar todo el proceso. Es posible que si ests un poco alejado del router, pierda la conexin y ya no la recupere ni aunque te acerques fsicamente con el dispositivo.

Sie ist gut einzustellen, tut was sie soll. Nur das man sie an das WLan koppeln muss ist fr mich nicht notwendig.
Etwas zu teuer, aber dennoch sehr gut!
Ich nutze auch das Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 und wollte es durch ein passendes Licht ergnzen. Beide funktionieren zusammen sehr gut und machen die Bedienung sehr einfach, ABER:
Wenn man den Strom fr die Gerte (Stichwort Alexa-Steckdosen) deaktiviert, sollte man vor dem PC-Start dem Licht etwas Zeit geben, ansonsten wird es nach dem PC-Start nicht erkannt und man muss neustarten.
Auch die Einrichtung ber den Telekom Speedport Smart 4 war nicht ganz reibungslos, wobei ich das von anderen Smart-Gerten auch schon kenne. Man muss unbedingt das 5 GHz Frequenzband deaktivieren und ich wrde zustzlich beim 2,4 GHz Frequenzband nur auf die Bandbreite b/g einschrnken. Ansonsten kann das Gert keine Verbindung herstellen. Manchmal klappt es selbst da nicht, einfach einen Neustart des Rechners und dann sollte es gehen.
Ist es einmal eingerichtet, liefert es zahlreiche Individualisierungsmglichkeiten (Helligkeit, Lichtton), die man ber das Stream Deck sehr bequem und schnell anpassen kann.
Dennoch fr meinen Geschmack etwas zu teuer, wenn man sich die Materialqualitt des Lampenkopfs anschaut.
Elgato, come sempre, una garanzia!
Dopo aver provato varie key light economiche, subito scartate, ho acquistato questa di Elgato e mi si aperto un mondo!
Eccezionali sotto ogni punto di vista, design, qualit costruttiva e non per ultimo la resa. Luce ben modulata e diffusa, regolabile in intensit e temperatura colore da app su smartphone o PC. Non da molto fastidio agli occhi come pannelli di altri brand utilizzati in precedenza, ne ho preso subito un’altra per completare la postazione. Consigliatissime!
They are definitely worth the money if you're looking for quality
I had been considering upgrading the lighting for my set-up for a while. Up until this point, the lighting was very much Heath Robinson style, a combination of various things. Whilst the light level was sufficient, it was a real pain having to switch it all on and off, and it was pretty distracting as some of it consisted of bright spotlights. I needed to upgrade.
Constructing the lights after unboxing was easy enough. The build quality is evident as soon as you start – it all fit together really well. Once I got this set up, I plugged them in and set them up with the app to enable control.
I was slightly worried at this point that I hadn’t got enough lights. The lights seemed quite dark – however, the initial light level is not the full brightness, so I needn’t have worried. The light level turned out to be perfect.
The app setup hit a couple of small hiccups, but these were quickly overcome, and I have had zero technical problem in all the time since.
Having a softened, yet bright light, is a real boon over blinding spotlights. The light is excellently even, and it means you can look in the direction of the light without causing injury, distraction, or an inability to see the monitor underneath.
The lights are even all the way across the panel, on both lights. The colour temperature adjustment is very easy to do, but the default setting was ideal for me.
The quality of the light, as indicated by the CRI rating, is what surprised me the most. It is very noticeable how good the light is – better than the room lights I have in the room, or the desk light I had. Working under these lights is a pleasure – it doesn’t feel artificial, and I notice less eye strain when doing so.
This sort of dual duty, as both great video lights and working lights, makes the lights a real bargain. I am so glad I bought these, and will certainly buy again should I need more, or once the time comes to replace them at their end of life.

Gut, aber nicht perfek
Erst einmal vorweg – ich habe 2 Keylight Air bestellt.
Die Qualitt ist – wie von Elgato gewohnt – nicht schlecht, das Set-Up sehr intuitiv und einfach und die lampen tuen auch was sie sollen.
Klar sind sie nicht so hell wie das “normale” Keylight, aber dafr ja auch nicht ganz so teuer und kleiner.
Das einzige was wirklich strt ist die elgato app zur Steuerung der Lampen. Wo sie auf dem PC einwandfrei funktioniert, hat sie auf dem Handy (bei mir iOS) absolute Probleme die Lampen zu erkennen. Wenn es gut luft klappt es alle 2/10 mal.
Wie gesagt an sonsten aber alles top – die Auswahl der Farbtne ist ausreichend und die helligkeit, wenn man denn 2 hat auch.

Setzt einen in virtuellen Besprechungen in ein tolles Licht. Blendet nicht und Ist sogar absolut ausreichend als Schreibtischbeleuchtung.
TOP Leuchte, App mit Potential
Mein Greenscreen wird von der Raumbeleuchtung ausreichend beleuchtet allerdings wird mein Kopf nur schlecht ausgeleuchtet. Daher nutze ich das Keylight Air um mich von vorne anstndig auszuleuchten. Das funktioniert in einem Abstand von ca. 80cm locker mit maximal der halben Leistung des Keylights. Durch die mgliche Korrektur Farbtemperatur werden so ohne groe Anpassungen in der Kamera hervorragende Hauttne wiedergegeben. In Verbindung mit dem Streamdeck lt sichdie Lampe perfekt kontrollieren (stufenweise auf/ab dimmen, Farbtemperatur stufenweise verndern, oder beide Werte jeweils auf fixe Vorgaben setzen) . Bei der APP fr Windows bin ich nicht so ganz glcklich damit, dass sich das Widget nicht verschieben lsst und somit immer aktive Benachrichtigungen oder die Widgetbar das Widget belagern. Manmuss dann immer warten bis das Widget wieder im Vordergrund liegt. Ich fnde es besser wenn die App einfach ein normales fenster ffnen wrde und ich dieses beispielsweise auf meinen Kontrol Monitor shcieben knnte auf dem dann auch die Controls fr den Bildmischer (ATEM) und den Sound liegen. Durch die Nutzung des Streamdecks ist dieses Problem jedoch nicht so gravierend weshalb ich jetzt mal nichts abziehe.
Insgesamt sauber verarbeitet, stabiler Stnder der nicht so leicht umfllt. Der Ein/Aus Schalter knnte an etwas besser erreichbarer Stelle liegen.
Insgesamt aber auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung und auch ein einzelnes Keylight Air macht tatschlich schon ordentlich Licht ! Auf 50-70% Helligkeit ist es jedoch noch nicht strend , auch wenn es wie bei mir von schrg vorne leuchtet. 100% wre mir im abstand von <1m jedoch deutlich zu hell um dabei parallel auf dem Bildschirm zu arbeiten der neben dem Keylight steht.
Expensive but awesome ligh
I initially bought inexpensive LED lights for streaming. Recently I upgraded to a Key Light and a Key Light Air at my desk. Elgato lights are completely different. Not only do they not bother your eyes but the quality of light is gorgeous.
There is a definite, noticeable difference between these LED lights and cheaper (~ $80-100) lights. Whether that difference is worth the extra money, you’ll have to decide.

El precio cambia bastante por eso compre esta luz en Warehouse y muy bien funciona perfectamente aunque luego me di cuenta que en precio del nuevo ha bajado al del usado vaya. Pero en cuanto a la lmpara es una pasada, muy luminosa y con la App puedes ajustar la calidez de la luz perfectamente. Lo nico que para ello tienes que descargar su App y conectarte por wifi a la lmpara.. si tienes proteccin de mac en tu wifi puede ser una lata y no se conecta pero si slo tienes proteccin por contrasea se conecta sin problema.
Great light, premium product.
Bought two of these key lights to replace a ring light that I was using for live streams. The light they give is excellent. Love the ease of switching on an off from mobile phone or MacBook Pro. They’re expensive, but feel very well made and don’t stand out too much in my home office. Overall very happy with them although the price stung at first, however after buying and using for a good 6 months now, I now understand the price.

It’s an expensive piece of equipment by comparison but it does the job well and the integration with other elgato products was the main reason for going with this.
One thing I kind of am missing though is the ability to use it in a wired mode (afaik it’s only connecting over wi-fi).

This light is easy to assmble and the adjustable stand makes it easy to get it in the right position to support my camera in video calls. The quality of light is very uniform and avoids the need for a softbox. Although it seemed a bit pricey when I ordered it, I am pleased with it as I needed nothing else to get the result I wanted. I recommend this.

Brought this together with a Razer Kiyo Pro and the quality is excellent. The product uses an intuitive app to adjust it, but once you've done that you can just use the switch on the light to turn it on and off. It's a really solid quality and the light is super bright.

Using for additional direct lighting for video calls. Very good and makes significant difference to image where backlighting from daylight was an issue. Probably too good for my needs and maybe could have used a cheaper alternative but can fault that light itself.

Esencial para cualquier streaming el tener una buena iluminacin. He probado varios sistemas ms baratos, los tpicos con mltiples LED, pero con resultados no ptimos. Elgato Keylight ofrece una iluminacin perfecta para tus streamings, ya sea en situaciones de baja luminosidad o con luz usndolo de relleno. Los difusores hacen que la luz llegue de forma ptima a ti, sin brillos y sin iluminar toda la habitacin.
Se monta en unos minutos, y es muy estable gracias a la base, con un peso que hace que no se mueva. Puedes regularlo en altura, y dispone de escala para saber exactamente la altura a la que lo colocas. Se controla desde la aplicacin mvil o de Pc/Mac, y es perfectamente compatible con StreamDeck de Elgato, para poder controlarlo con sus botones. Puede regularse la intensidad y la temperatura, consiguiendo un color de piel ms natural.
Recomendable usar dos para una iluminacin ptima sin sombras en tu cara, aunque con uno te podras apaar si lo colocas justo delante tuya. Tiene altura suficiente como para colocarlo tras tu monitor.
I looked at quite a lot of lighting options before I settled on this Elgato light. I originally purchased the larger and slightly more expensive Key Light but it was dead on arrival so was returned for a refund. As a replacement I opted for this Key Light Air as I suspected it was plenty bright enough for my requirements.
The air comes supplied with a floor stand whereas the larger key light comes supplied with a clamp mount. I’m still torn as to which is the best and to be honest having both would be the best option for versatility. I may end up purchasing the separate clamp mount separately as my light does get moved around quite a bit and having the option of clamping it to something would be useful.
In terms of brightness, this lamp is bright and is fully controllable either through a desktop or iOS app. I’ve programmed my Stream Deck to be able to quickly operate the light and it works really well. You can also quickly adjust the temperature of the light through the app as well.
The only downside I can see with this light is the initial set up procedure which needs to be carried out on your phone/computer in order to connect it to your home wifi network. It may throw some people and in fact it was an issue with the first light that I purchased which was faulty. I did not realise that the unit was faulty and assumed that it was a set up issue with my wifi at home. I spent far too long trying to troubleshoot that before concluding that there was a problem with the unit itself.
Other than that I can highly recommend this light. Yes, there are much cheaper alternatives out there but I really believe that you get what you pay for. With this you get a well built light that is evenly bright and allows easy to alter brightness and temperature controls.
Only problem is, I’d like a 2nd one now!

With all the Zoom , Webex and MS Teams calls I’ve been on since the lockdown this light has become an invaluable piece of my office equipment. it is easy to set up and use and the computer app allows me to control it via my stream deck for ease of use. A very good desk light that is more than bright enough to be used on its own with no other light sources.

Ich habe zunchst eine und relativ schnell eine zweiter Elgato Key Light Air gekauft. Hintergrund ist, dass bei Videokonferenzen man deutlich besser rber kommt wenn man jeweils von vorne seitlich angeleuchtet wird.
Der Effekt ist trotz moderner Kameras, die vieles ausgleichen knnen, doch dramatisch besser.
Eine Lampe von vorne direkt ist nicht zu empfehlen, weil die Flche trotz Dimmbarkeit, dann immer noch zu hell ist. Jeweils seitlich positioniert passt das ohne blenden perfekt.
Durch die stufenlose Dimmbarkeit kann man alles situativ passend ausleuchten.
Ich schalte die Lampen per App. Sie lassen sich direkt in die App des Herstellers integrieren und gemeinsam einschalten und gemeinsam dimmen bzw. die Lichtfarbe verndern..
Ich habe mir lange Gedanken mit der Anschaffung dieser Lampen Gedanken gemacht. Es gibt ja Ringleuchten. ABER: haben Sie mal Videos oder Fotos von Personen mit Ringleuchten gesehen – die Augen – die haben alle den Lichertkranz in den Pupillen. Je nach Verwendungszweck geht das meiner Meinung nach gar nicht….
Was auch erstaunlich ist, die Leuchtkraft der Lampen. Voll “aufgedreht” grenzt das schon fast an Flutlicht. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass auch die Lichtfarbe angepasst werden kann.
Ich nutze die Lampen in einem Schrank den ich als “MiniBro” eingerichtet habe. Die externe Videokamera ist ber dem Bildschirm an einem Regalbrett befestigt. Die Elgato jeweils ohne Fuss stehend links und rechts am Rand davon.
Wenn man die Lampen nicht “eingebaut” hat, eignen sie sich auch hervorragend als mobile Lampen fr Heimwerkerzwecke. Damit bringt man nahezu alles ausgeleuchtet.

Sehr zufrieden. Nutze es jetzt schon Monate und bin begeistert. Nutze es fr Videoaufnahmen und bei Zoomcalls um einfach mehr ausleuchten zu knnen. Sehr einfacher Aufbau, Installation, Einrichtung und Nutzung ber eine App. Besser geht es nicht. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
