I bought this sort to cut up 2 to 3 mm thick sheet still. It works really really well for light duty steel cutting and I use the same blade on some plywood and bits of timber and it worked absolutely fine. Only issue is this the hot pieces of steel coming off when cutting so long sleeves and gloves are a must.

I brought this saw to cut some aluminium extrusions to size, its cuts through 2020, 2040 vslot and tslot like they are made of thin paper, there is zero resistance and every cut is clean and precise. The saw just glides straight through. Have so far done over 200 cuts and the blade is still as-new and razor-sharp. Would recommend without questio

Great saw, I use this cutting dubar and normal mild steel sheet for welding tables and disabled ramps. It works perfectly however I don’t see how you would use it for pipe and box section it would be incredibly hard to cut accurately as there’s around 50mm from the blade accuracy line to the actual blade. There’s also alot of fibration but doesn’t effort the accuracy of the cut and I find occasionally the blade guide will stick stopping the cut but overall it’s a great saw at a very affordable price.

Blade life is also good I managed to build around 15 ramps on one blade
