It was exactly as expected’ lightweight ‘ perfect to handle ‘ easy to use and appears very durable
I bought this to replace an old hose. The expanding hose is really easy to use and put away. Miles better than my old one.
I’ve never had an expandable hose before (?!), and was quite dubious, but I’m pleasantly surprised by it.
I only have a small patio garden, but filling up numerous watering cans was becoming too much hassle, resulting in laziness and subsequently dying plants.
I don’t have an outside tap, but this fitted wonderfully on to a universal tap/hose adapter.
I elected for the 30 meter hose, but the one thing that is notably different is that when you turn the tap off, there is still a large quantity of water in the hosepipe itself, so it takes a minute or two after turning tap off to fully empty (very differentto the kind of hoses I’mused to). I suggest thoroughly watering plants, turn tap off then hold trigger to unload excess in to watering can (hence how I discovered the 4.5 litres the hose itself contains).
Overall happy and pleased with the hose, only 2 months in, but nothing disappointing so far.
Small side note, there is no trigger-lock (meaning you have to hold the trigger at all times whilst watering), I believe some would prefer this (people with arthritis perhaps), but this absence doesn’t bother me and you can change heads should you have one/wish to invest in one
Only issue would be the fittings don’t fit my Hoselock items so will need to purchase an adapte
Good instructions, but a picture/ diagram would have been helpful.
Second one we brought now (first got lawnmowered ). Great little hose, goes plenty far enough, then shanks back down when waters turned off and fits on hook over tap.

Great hose. Highly recommend. Easy to use and reduces to small size for easy storage. Best hose I’ve ever had.
