Nice bit of kit, bought because the really cheap cordless drill I bought about 8 years ago was on its last legs and not really up to a couple of DIY projects I had lined up. This set really hasn’t disappointed. Not had to re-charge the batteries yet after one medium sized project and a few smaller ones. I’m guessing it might not be good enough for a professional tradesman using it intensively (or maybe it would, I’m not a builder so I wouldn’t know for sure), but for standard DIY use I really can’t knock it.

It comes with 2 batteries, a charger, a flexible extension thingy for hard to access places and a few drills and screwdriver bits etc. I would reccomend also purchasing a set of drill bits though as the selection included is pretty basic. It comes in a nice little carrying case. Definitely worth the price and would reccomend as a home use drill set.

This got everything little bits to make life easier without the wires…. But I did find myself going back to actual wired hammer drill for more power wall concrete drilling instead for using this… Hence not 5 stars as it did say it’s a hammer drill, almost not quite

Bought this to replace and ageing 14v drill/driver bought from one of the major high street tool shops after the clutch had worn out. Impressed with how small, light and easy to handle yet powerful this driver is, and pleased with the two batteries with built-in charge level indicator, although I haven’t yet put the tool fully through it’s paces or had to charge a battery. Also impressed by the quantity of accessories included, you never realise how worn out some of your old drillbits are until you get some new ones! This probably wouldn’t be up to the rigours of professional use but for a DIYer, and especially at this price, I can easily give it 5 stars.

The chuck isn’t the best to be honest, I’ve twenty plus years in trade work & I knew this drill isn’t up to trade standards & that’s alright since I bought it for an elderly relative that would maybe use it twice a year for light home DIY.
However I did test it myself before giving it to them & the grip on the chuck for any slightly larger drill bits wasn’t great as in the bit just falls out with slightly heavy pressure drilling.
But you get what you pay for & it would maybe be a decent screwdriver drill?

Bought this primarily for garden use and drilling holes in metal and plastic planters and pots.

After a bit of fiddling around (instruction booklet was pretty useless) I managed to get the drill bit in and I was away, drilling holes in my planters and pots for drainage.

I think this is a pretty good little drill, both batteries had a good charge out of the box.
I would have liked some indication of what drill bits were for what materials, but with trial and error I found a large one that made decent sized holes in a metal planter.

    Happy with this purchase.

I’ll be honest, I was not remotely impressed when I opened this – its tiny compared to my old 18v worx drill – and I nearly sent it straight back without even trying it, but…

I’m extremely glad I didn’t – it makes very light work of my walls around the home (that my previous drill struggled with), it’s very light so don’t kill you arms and all the functions work as they should. I got mine on sale, would I pay full price – probably not – but for the price I did pay, I’m very happy.

It will not last as long as my old drill – but that was double the price – and the bits supplied with it are junk – but if you need a small compact drill that can pack a punch for occasional DIY, this is just the ticket.

I tried to buy a spare battery for my old cordless drill/driver but couldn’t. On longer jobs one isn’t always enough. I looked online and saw this one, supplied with two batteries plus the bonus of being a lot lighter. For the price I wasn’t really expecting too much. However, I used it to put a garden plastic shed together, which required lots of screwing, and fell in love. Light, plenty of power and supplied with lots of accessories as well as the spare battery. (OK, the accessories may not last as long as more expensive ones I already have, but are conveniently together in the case). Even after extensive use the battery indicator still shows a full charge. Brilliant! Since used for several other jobs and still not needed the spare battery.
Be aware, the chuck is smaller than many drill/drivers, but more than adequate for my needs. Not yet tried the hammer drill facility, but ordinary drilling has been fine too.
    Great value for money.

If you recently have moved into a new place, or need a drill less powerful than a mains drill, this one is a great one to have. Great torque, a magnetic fittings for screws plus all the various drill heads make this a fantastic choice and all-rounder.

My husband purchased this drill and was pleased with it. Lightweight and easy to use. 2 battery’s. Perfect. It had only been used a few times for jobs around the house but after 4 months it stopped working. Tried both fully charged batteries but nothing. Completely dead. Now have to se if I can return it as it’s gone past the return date. Not happy.

I originally purchased this as a replacement for my tried and trusted ‘big brand’ 18V cordless hammer drill and was a bit dubious about something that looked too good to be true. How wrong I was!
The kit arrived promptly and was well packed. On unboxing I was surprised at how compact the drill was compared to my old kit and also to how many extras were included, particularly the 2nd battery.
I’m not a heavy DIY person but do like to have tools that are capable of doing the job. I was impressed with the performance of this drill despite it’s smaller size. It does everything it says on in the description, I doubt if I will use all of the included extras but it was nice to have these available.
I am retired so only use this drill for home so cannot comment on suitability for any commercial work, I’m sure though that someone will be able to. I can however definitely recommend this to any home user out there.

I just needed a drill / driver for general household / hobby use, so didn’t want to pay for one of the more expensive and better-known brands. I decided to give this a try as it seemed to have good reviews and was reasonably priced – and I haven’t been disappointed. It’s easy to use and feels solid but not too heavy. The first job I tried it for was drilling holes into some very dense bricks – this took a lot longer than I had anticipated (because of the brick type) but the drill performed well over a prolonged, difficult period of time. The battery life life lived up to the advertised 30 minutes of continuous use. Since then, I have used it for easier drilling and screw driving jobs and it has proved to be just what I wanted. The drill comes with a useful selection of drill and driver bits – all in a convenient carrying case.
The only point I would make is that the instructions tell you to fit a drill bit, set the lowest speed and torque settings and engage the automatic clutch by holding the chuck; I found that, if I subsequently increased the torque, the drill bit would become loose unless the clutch was re-engaged at that higher torque setting, which can place unwanted strain on the hand / wrist holding the chuck, unless you are careful.

So, to be clear, this purchase was not for a heavy duty drill and more for easier wood drilling and as a screwdriver. We use it regularly for assembling/disassembling work related show stands for exhibitions.
My expectations were not high as it was a very modest cost.
My judgement is that this is actually an excellent product. Coming with two battery packs, I was expecting the batteries to run down quickly but in fact, I have charged one only once so far and used it almost daily without the battery running down.
I suspect if used for masonry drilling, this might impact battery life more but I can’t comment.
There are light battery status lights which is useful. It comes in a case with just about all the drill bits, screwdriver bit types most would need.
So in summary, lots of upsides with this, much better quality than expected and actually to date, I have no downsides to comment on.
    Very happy to recommend

I spent much time searching for a light-weight versatile drill that has functionality to drill walls as well as having the most popular accessories (drill bits). I also spent hours going through reviews as being a lady with not much experience this was a bit of a challenge for me. I have certainly not been disappointed. This wonderful drill has fast become my best little friend. I have used it a few times now since purchased in December last year. I have used it to drive out screws to fix a while lot of shelves that someone had done an awful job of putting up, and were starting to pull out of the wall. Then used it again to drive all the screws back in after replacing all the raw plugs with the correct ones. Have also used the drill to drill brick and dry walls and it has done a beautiful job! Easy to use and also has a light that comes on at the end when drilling to light up the area drilling which is great!
Customer service is also brilliant. As I only used it here and there a few times since purchase I had not used the 2nd battery, and now months later I discovered that the 2nd battery was completely dead and would not charge at all. I contacted Faxamol support (as they sent their card with all their details with the drill) and, after getting back to me in record time, they are sending me a replacement battery without any hassles. Excellent purchase and can verify that the good reviews on here are not at all wrong. Happy Custome

I have not used this drill yet but the drill looks great and all the accessaries included within the handy case with the drill makes this a great buy. One problem is that the instruction book supplied does not give any instruction where to fit the charger to the batteries, but after searching about i found the charging port is on the top of the battery between the Plus & Negative signs. Perhaps this will help future buyers.

The recent storm took out my whole back garden fencing so the timing of the purchase was handy, this little monster worked brilliantly! Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersI purchased this Drill/Driver set as I was moving to a new home and had a lot of furniture to dismantle/reassemble and numerous DIY jobs to do. Having been sceptical on the value of this type of drill I am now a believer.

The drill performs at all levels from screwing and unscrewing, drilling and hammer drilling. This drill has been a god send with the amount of jobs I have tackled with it. The fact it comes with a spare battery pack ensures the work can continue uninterrupted.

Less charging is good for me.

My job involves wall mounting TV’S, installing integrated appliances plus other things in people’s homes.
The drill performs extremely well, in fact more than I first expected.
It puts the drill I use at home to shame, (popular German brand).

The only improvement to this kit would be having hex nut drivers instead of hex bits to make things easier, but this would be picky!

I have recommended this drill kit to a few colleagues.

So in all I’m very happy with this.

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersThere are plenty of detailed reviews for this set that report on how good it is. This review is aimed at covering My feedback that I haven’t read in other reviews.

I got this set as a gift. The overall build quality appears robust and it feels well balanced in either hand. This is important for those jobs where you have to use your weaker hand to access drill sites, for example, in corners

Two batteries are always better than one and charging is done off tool so you still have a working drill while charging the other battery. This is a must have feature in my opinion. Three Green LEDs indicate the charging progress. The use of Li-ion means there is no need to fully discharge them before charging.

The drill, driver, hammer selector collar was incredibly stiff until I used a pair of high grip gloves to free it up. Do NOT use a pair of adjustable pliers to do this as you could easily crack the plastic selector collar, leaving this function and possibly the whole tool inoperable.

The included bits are budget ones that most will find up to the job for a starter set. However, as drill bits wear out, the tendency is to apply more force which will increase wear on the bearings. You should always use sharp drill and undamaged driver bits leaving the tool to provide the rotational force required.

When you do buy higher quality bits they most likely won’t fit in the tool’s chuck and case as the better quality and larger drill bits will be for a 1/2 inch chuck rather than the 3/8 inch one supplied. Supplying the tool with a larger chuck wouldn’t have cost a lot and is a missed opportunity. Tools with 1/2 inch chucks tend to be around 33% bigger and heavier, so this set is still useful and up to the lighter tasks it is aimed at.

If you’re looking for a starter set you’d have difficulty finding better than this kit for the money. The better known brands won’t necessarily be better until you’ve spending s rather than s.
The person I bought it for hasimplored me to increase it to 5 stars. Who am I to argue?

A well equipped starter set for the money

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersAfter my ‘very handy and DIY savvy’ daughter borrowed my old cordless to do a few jobs around her house and garden, I decided to treat her to her very own Faxamol Cordless Drill Driver 21v after seeing some very good reviews and half the price of a Bosch or Makita at 75.99, as of 4th July 2021…

We all know a man shouldn’t buy a woman a kettle or a toaster as a pressy, coz he’ll likely to be wearing them in disgust, but a dad buying a cordless drill for his 47 yr old daughter seems somehow different and I can’t begin to tell you how chuffed she was on opening the parcel and seeing it…its lightweight and smaller than my 20 year old 14v Black and Decker, but it’s solidly constructed and after using it a few times to put up garden mirrors and other ornaments, plus cannibalise a pallet board to make shelving for pot plants, she’s still absolutely delighted with it a couple of weeks later…

An excellent cordless drill at a great price, compared to the ‘well known makes’…

I needed a cordless hammer drill to install a weather station at a field site I am using for my PhD project. The Faxamol unit was competitively priced and comes with a wide range of accessories.
The drill was very light and easy to use in a confined space, in the picture I am about to drill a 2 inch concrete slab which the white box and aluminium strut are attached to. I drilled 8 x 6mm holes right through the slab, and then inserted screws into each hole with no loss of power.
The two batteries are a plus point, and the accessories are a real bonus, although i wouldn’t recommend using the larger sockets for anything heavy duty, their walls are very thin.
But you don’t buy a drill for the accessories, so overall I would recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 44 From Our UsersI elected to purchase this drill as I believe avoiding the big brand electrical manufacturers provides better value and performance. To that end I think this drill/driver is a little gem.

I’ve been using it over the past couple of days to secure a sub floor I was laying and it went through all 200+ screw with ease. This is definitely something my older brand named drill/driver would have struggled to complete without a top up charge.

I’m glad I took the plunge on this one. From the use it’s had, I can see it has great battery life and is really sturdy. Although I had most of the attachments, mine were worn so getting new ones was really helpful. For someone starting without any this would add even more value to the pack.

Two li-on batteries included means you’ll never be out of charge. Keyless Chuck only requires hand tight to fit bits and drills. Comes with quite a few drills, bits,
Sockets and accessories etc which are of fair quality. Can’t justify buying branded tools when these represent such good value at such a reasonable price. Handy metal belt clip included that you screw on near the battery.

Drill with two batteries. Powerful motor. Power for raising caravan.
