More than anything, if you’re carrying either documents (or books, paper in general) or much less valuable electronics, and the whether forecast shows showers or cloud cover, wrap them in a shopping bag as this is most definitely not waterproof. i can’t emphasize that enough so: this. Is. NOT. WATERPROOF. I found out the hard way as 10 authenticated copies of a deed that cost me 68 got a pretty large wet spot over the south-west of the a4 sheet the size of a deck of cards as they were put away upside down. it caused the signatures of both parties to become generic ink stains. it’s a beautiful backpack but the security features are for show as most theft from backpacks happens when they either take the entire thing, or if you’re wearing it they use a stanley knife to cut the sides or bottom. stopping the zipper does zip to deter a thief. also, something i hadn’t considered, the hard shell scratches and scuffs at the slightest pressure. pretty though.
I carried out extensive research before buying a backpack and I’m glad I went with this. Sleek and modern look, security lock, hard shell back, minimalist design. Love it!
Can’t fault it. Read some reviews about quality issues before buying but bit the bullet and purchased anyway. I’m happy I did. Fantastic backpack, really strong design and the back case offers a good amount of impact protection. The compartments are very spacious and well organised. Couldn’t have found a better bag.
The bag is much more striking in person, hence I tried to make a few photos to show that off a bit. It’s modern without being too stand out, and time will tell if the hard shell stands up to a lot of daily use around town on public transport.
The bag feels well made so far and I like the compartments especially the mesh divider that keeps my stuff well organised.
It feels like it could hold more than I expected but I don’t want to overload it, not sure it’ll take any extreme capacities but I didn’t get it for that anyway.
To be honest, I really like the look and feel of this bag and time will tell how well it lasts out and about. I liked it so much I went for the sling version…. without checking the dimensions properly before ordering 😀 But that’s a story for another day…
