1250FL-DF Joist Support Cradles for Decking & Flooring
StrataRise Flexi-Level 1250 Pedestals are adjustable from 12mm to 50mm. The height can be increased by using one or more optional clip-in 20mm high base extension pieces (sold separately). The cradles are supplied complete with a clip-in moulded rubber base.
Easy to use and to adjust
Designed to replace the original Uni-Level cradle (Rubbertech, Ryno), the new Flexi-Level Cradle brings a number of new features and increased capability. It is easier to use, stronger, now has water drainage, can be fixed to the beams and is supplied complete with a moulded rubber base. It is a simple and strong Joist Support, with levelling, for floors and decking. The small footprint assists installation in areas with restricted space. The cradles provide a fast and easy solution for levelling and supporting joists for flooring and decking on balconies, roof terraces and other firm surfaces. They are designed for use with standard 2″ (44 to 48mm) wide timber joists, keeping them above the base substrate and, importantly for exterior applications, above the drainage level of the roof or base. The cradles are ideal for supporting and levelling:

• Balconies
• Sheds
Installation
We suggest a minimum distribution of 6 to 8 supports per square meter, with joists spaced at 400mm to 500mm centres, and cradles positioned at 400mm to 600mm intervals along each support.
Smaller cross section joists and beams are more liable to flex, so typically these require that the cradles are placed closer together. Where high loads are anticipated the weight bearing capacity can be increased by placing the cradle supports closer together.
When installing heavy, pre-built, joist frameworks, take care not to overload any single point of support during initial levelling. This can be avoided by using support wedges or jacks to reduce the weight at corners until the required distribution of cradle supports are in place and adjusted.

Advanced Features
The cradle can be fixed to the joist after adjustment to allow lifting of the joists to insert interim supports, etc, without losing the cradle position and level
The cradle now has drainage outlets, so water cannot collect and become stagnant. Raises beams above the substrate surface, preventing saturation and reducing potential for rotting.
A new, clip-in, moulded acoustic base pad, supplied as standard with every cradle, provides cushioning and protection when used on top of membranes – it incorporates water drainage channels.
The height range can be increased by using one or more, optional, clip in, 20mm high extensions (supplied separately). The adjustment range of 12mm to 50mm can be increased to 32mm to 70mm with one extender, to 52mm to 90mm with two extenders, etc.
The new Flexi-Level support cradle is rated for an average maximum load of 16.3kN/m² (1,662 kgf/m²) using a minimum of 6 supports per square meter

Acoustic Rubber Pad supplied as standardThe clip-in moulded rubber base can be fitted either to the cradle, or to the extension base as required. It provides cushioning and protection when used on top of waterproofing membranes, as well as offering acoustic properties and helping to reduce transmitted noise.. | Clip-in 20mm Height Extender BaseStrataRise Clip-in 20mm height extenders now enable the height adjustment range of the cradles to be increased – greatly adding to the flexibility of the product and setting it apart from similar type cradle products. | Provision for fixing to the beam after adjustmentThe StrataRise Multi-Level Cradle permits easy attachment to the joist after initial levelling is completed. Tree screw points are provided for this purpose. This permits lifting of joists to easily place additional supports into position without losing position or adjustment of the installed cradles – another unique feature of the Flexi-Level cradle. | Factory Compression testsTested in the factory for compression strength and weight bearing capability. Now more than twice the weight bearing capability when compared with the original Rubbertech, Ryno, Quantum Uni-Level cradles which this product replaces. |

Great product if you don’t want to spend hundreds levelling out ground! We put slabs directly onto turf, then used this product with a wooden shed base to level up. Saved myself 900, as this is what we we’re quoted to lift turf and level.
Theses are a little costly but make levelling a deck easy, particularly on uneven surfaces. Be careful not to place too near the edge if you want to plinth the deck though – lesson learned!
Wanted to level a slope under timber. Hope they will prove to be strong enough over time. Easy to fit adjustable feet for joists.
Did the job well, raising the joists for my decking, a little pricey and one negative, hard to wind up when the joist resting is on i
more for low-level use, but easy to use for 4×2 upright usage
Was quite impressed with these feet. Did the job perfectly and adjusting was easy enough.
Loved using these. I used 50 putting decking on old slabs. Levelling with a fall in one direction took about 45 minutes. Good fit on the joists – not too tight, easy to adjust, fixed to joists with 2 woodscrews each after levelling. Joists well above any standing water after a storm. Worth the money for sure.
This product is awesome, did one project directly onto flags and they made the job so easy. I have now done a further 2 and purchased again and again. An expense your dont budget for but worth every penny in saved time and stress.
Made the job I bought them for, so simple
Thank You
When I decided to lay a new decking area over an old uneven concrete base, I was worried about how to get the deck to be level and correctly angled to enable rainwater to run off. These levelling joist supports are just the job – very solid and easy to use on the decking subframe. Naturally these supports do lift up the subframe even at the lowest setting and in retrospect I would have ordered lower height timber joists to compensate. However, this is a minor point and I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend.
So I brought these when building a deck as they looked a damn sight easier than individually propping up the 2″x6″ timber frame with old paving slabs and wedges etc.
I was right, once put together and using an extra spacer or two if required (I was building over a wonky old Patio) they were simplicity itself to adjust to the right height and maintain the correct fall across the deck.
I have since installed an above ground kids swimming pool (about 3 tonnes of water) on the finished decking and they haven’t budged a millimetre!
They may be a little on the pricey side, but they will save you hours and hours of head scratching, I highly recommend these supports.
If you have variable height footings for your deck these units make it easy
to level everything up.
