This is a nice badminton set for casual play
You get some nicely weighted and balanced racquets and a set of feathered shuttlecocks
Quality of the racquets is good
The shuttlecocks are decent if you like feathered ones but I prefer plastic – as these do spoil quite easily
You’ll have to have your own net or use a badminton court
The string isn’t good enough for more serious play
Overall good value for the family
I will start by saying I am by no means a professional badminton player but I do like a game and play quite often to a decent standard. My son wanted to start playing so we thought we’d give these racquets a try based on the reviews and more importantly the price for 2. They are light and strong and really nice to play with. The bag, towel and extra grip tape are a nice bonus but don’t expect much from the shuttlecocks. We managed to destroy all 3 of them during a one hour session. The racquets though are spot on. If you are looking at this as a kit to get started or as an intermediate in need of new kit I fully recommend the set. But save yourself some time and order a set of decent shuttlecocks at the same time.
I really like this racket, I only play in my garden but it feels well made and I’ve even beaten the kids! (Please note I have won against the kids, I haven’t hit them with it lol).
This is a good quality racket. It comes with a case and also some grip tape. It was pretty easy to apply the grip tape although it had a cover on it which I forgot to pull off the first time! No complaints with this. Much better than my old racket. I’m really happy.
As a beginner, this racket offers excellent value for money being lightweight, durable, comes with a bag, small towel and even extra grip tape.
It looks much more expensive than it is and it also plays well. Pre-strung and tensioned, this really is ready to go out of the bag.
Happy to recommend – it’s a very nice racket for the money.
Really enjoyed playing with these rackets. Shuttle corks also long lasting. Good balance for both singles and doubles. Overall very happy with the purchase. Light weight and strong racket, allows quick reflex reactions while still being good for strong smashes. weight is evenly balanced and not heavy on the head. consider this racket if you want to start playing badminton seriously. If you want a slightly head-heavy racket for more aggressive smash play, consider the muscle power.
I’m an absolute beginner so don’t have anything to compare this too, but I love it. Working well for me and I’m having fun. Hopefully a fun way to get a bit fitter.
I like the cover, gives me peace of mind going to and from the sports centre.
Decent price I think for a decent racket.
This badminton racket is pretty well made and comes with extra tape if required although it seems pretty well put on so I haven’t needed to swap it yet. Complete with Carey case to keep it safe, it’s well strung and feels good to swing. Very happy with this racket.
