hey look great and they sound great from the description unfortunately they didn’t turn up so I’m unable to give any feedback
This is a simple to use and fit headset with good sound quality for the price point. All the fixings needed to fit it to the helmet are provided and the bluetooth connected intercom is stable. I was impressed with the noise reduction – very little interference.
Overall, a good experience.
Got this for when Im out on the bike and need to answer calls or if you fancy a bit of music playing through it.
The audio quality I find is brilliant and is really easy to hear.
I had no issues pairing it to my smartphone not did I have any issues connecting it to my helmet.
It’s really easy to use once you spend a few minutes playing around with it and have already had a few friends ask where I got it as they was impressed also.
Overall brilliant bit of kit and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family or anyone else.
This simple device allows you to listen to music via Bluetooth and also take calls from your phone. The speakers are installed inside the helmet and they’re very comfortable. They sound great when not on max volume and it’s like having overeat headphones on. Perfect for listening to music and talking on the phone. Easily connects to my phone and retains a stable connection throughout the ride. Recharges via USB-C which is a big plus. If you have two or more of these you can connect them to each other and have an intercom system running, perfect for training.
Only bought this for music, satnav and phone and it works well.
I bought this Bluetooth set to replace my old , much cheaper Chinese one. This one was a lot more money and the quality shows. Speakers are good, can get a bit vibe n tinny at high volume withheavy rock going through them but it’s too loud by then anyway. Easy to install in my Shark Endless modular helmet. Very easy to use and receive calls from phone . Overall, 9.5 /10.
Fit with my helmets, very easy to install and easy to connect.
Ordered this for my son in law and he is very impressed. This comes nicely packaged with clear instructions and is simple to connect and use.Hands free calls and music sound clear and has good sound and noise reduction.Buttons are large enough to operate with gloves on.Reasonably priced for quality and recommended.
So the description states this is a:-
FX2 motorbike intercom headset, motorcycle helmet bluetooth intercom with type-C. Bluetooth headset systems with handsfree, voice dial, FM radio, stereo music, waterproof.
There are two different way to attach this to the helmet. Either self adhesive Velcro or screw bracket into place.
You decide if you want it attached left or right. Swoping side at a later date means your going to find additional self adhesive strips.
Once fully charged and attached it’s quick and easy to pair to mobile bluetooth.
Play time then working out which settings you want to use. Press command, voice commands, auto, hands free etc…
We have had something similar before, but this has a clearer sound.
The battery is good so far, the only thing is even tho its type.C charger it’s not a standard type. So we make sure I labeled the wire and it’s kept in a safe place.
So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

Great kit, perfect for group rides
Sound quality is amazing with no lag
Setup is really easy
The Fodsports FX2 long distance two way intercom arrived in an attractive box and comes with the little chassis containing all the buttons, 4 silicone buttons for switching the intercom on and off, turning the volume up and down, two indicator lights, red and blue to indicate charge and charging status, and also earphone, and charging ports. The silicon keys feel very good, although I imagine with thick gloves on it may take a bit of care to ensure you depress the right one for correct operation. There is an instant response from depressing the buttons.
A blinking red light indicates charging, and once charged the blue light shines and then the intercom is ready for use.
The FX2 charging port is also the headphone jack, it is a USB-C female port so you can’t use it to talk whilst charging, but why would you want to anyway? The fact that it has an integral lithium battery is in itself a boon, and of course there is an accompanying charging cable with this kit. I like the design of the intercom chassis, it looks quite modern in a grey black colours, with black buttons. The larger black silicone button on the top front of the intercom which operates the intercom itself has a nice click to it when you press it down.
You get all the bits required to affix the intercom to the helmet, and you have the choice as to whether to use the mounting bracket which is easy to setup or to use the accompanying tape. It is recommended to use the bracket rather than the tape and I imagine it’s safer to use the bracket. To affix the intercom you will find velcro, 3M adhesive, screws needed and a screwdriver. It’s comfortable to wear this set because the wiring is hidden out of the way and the speaker is low down away from the neck. The intercom is waterproof and the female USB-C charging and speaker jack port has a rubber cover to keep water out. The intercom has little weight to it so you won’t notice the weight increase much. You get a good quick start guide, and also a more comprehensive set of instructions in a small booklet which shows you how to affix the intercom and operate it. I have so far used it to pair with the bluetooth on my mobile and the sound of music is very clear. It’s got Bluetooth 5.0 so it should be good. I shall use this to communicate with my partner when she is riding pillion so there should be no problem regarding communication with other FX2 intercoms. It also has built in FM radio which I noticed if your hands go near the intercom they act like an aerial as the sound gets a bit louder. It also has built in voice assistant which I have not used as yet. This intercom will connect to two other devices but I doubt that includes other brands. You can also connect this intercom with a GOS and listen to the GPS audio. The fact that you get all this built in technology at a price point of 55.99 is brilliant and for my needs I will obviously need to purchase one other set for my pillion passenger. Yes you can pay more for more uprated models but this is a very good price for this headset. It takes three hours to charge and it is supposed to last twelve hours without a recharge. 5 stars.
This is a really good intercom that works seamlessly with Bluetooth and I have one other one that allows me to speak to my husband when we go riding together.
The connection is strong and sound is clear and the quality of the build is very good.
The battery life is fantastic and I’d say it takes a little over 3 hours to fully charge from zero.
Good value for money.
I ordered this FX2 unit in the hopes of pairing it with a FODSport MX-1 unit but I hadn’t read this listing properly and this particular one doesn’t have the intercom facility that the higher model does, this was my own fault for not reading things fully as usual, lol.
On opening, the main unit is nicely compact which is a good thing when it comes to fitting this into a crash helmet. The actual device is very nicely made and comes complete with everything required for fitting and using it.
When I first received this I put it on charge and in less than an hour it was full so it must have been well charged on arrival. I checked the quality of the audio to compare it with the higher priced unit I already have and this sounds every bit as good, on playing music it was like listening with a full surround HiFi head set on, absolutely brilliant. The only thing missing on this from what’s on the higher model is the pairing facility, everything else seems to be about the same as far as quality goes.
This comes with all of the cables that are required for setting it up, the main ones for use are the charging cable and the microphone and speaker set, the only slight issue is that the USB-C plug that fits into the unit isn’t a standard depth so it might take some finding if the original cables were to get lost or break.
Pairing this to my iPhone was very fast, I just turned on the device by holding the centre button for a few seconds and once on I held the pairing button for about four seconds to get the blue/red lights flashing, my phones bluetooth then picked it up straight away and it was paired. Once paired it works just like any hands free kit for home or a car whereby you can make and receive calls, play music, adjust the volume jump tracks and more all with ease.
I really wasn’t expecting the audio quality to be as good as it is, I’m quite fussy when it comes to my music and this device hasn’t let me down. The bluetooth hands free system and the wireless connection is faultless with a very good range.
Great quality with amazing sound.
Recommended.
Me being a mountain biker, I’m always on the move with my group. Contacting between my fellow bikers is not an issue anymore.
This intercom headset can be used with 3 devices and comes with all accessories and detailed instructions for an easy start-up.
The voice quality is clear with not much interference. It assists a one-hand operation, has voice control and good battery life, radio and auto-answer too.
Satisfied
This is basically added a handfree and radio/mp3 player into the helmet.
Tested by a friend who does food delivery at evening, and he is loving it.
Pros:
small size
clear sound – like noise reduction on headphones
long battery life
good for listen to music/ while waiting
works with google – great for command while riding
waterproof
Not so like the buttons too close to each other, not easy to operate when you have motorbike gloves on.
Not easy to transfer to another helmet as the speaker and mic are stick-on.
Very good intercom for your motorcycle helmet. Fixes on very nicely, and isn’t too difficult to set up and connect. I wasn’t sure how well I would be able to hear someone, but it is very clear. Would definitely recommend as you can answer phone calls easily and quickly.
This is a well packaged device, that presents as well made and thought out.
This model the FX2 is a lower price point Bluetooth device in this range from Fodsports, but out of the box first impression is I actually prefer this from a novice user point of view to a higher price point model I had the chance to handle.
That’s because of the simplicity of the design, and the intuitive way it worked, perhaps a better way of putting that would be the command and control function is like other Bluetooth devices I have used.
You press the main button it turns on, hold for pairing – there are volume controls either side of that, and an intercom button removed at the notch in the “arrow-head” design.
With the headset connected the device talks to you in clear English, confirming it is turning on, off, pairing etc.
The device comes with both a well laid out quick start folding instructions, and a proper manual. Both are well thought out and clearly written.
The headset is designed to be attached to a helmet. The promotional images show both open and closed designs.
The headset attaches by way of sticky 3M pads. The device has a mounting bracket, so it can be attached to the helmet exterior, but removed for charging etc – this bracket can be mounted in the same way – but comes with a recommended set of screws for a positive fix.
3M adhesives work well on a clean dry surface, once. So worth considering before attaching the sticky pads. The pads themselves are loop Velcro, to the Velcro hooks on both on the headset speakers Left and Right and mic x2. Two mics as a choice; so, either a simple wire to mic, or, a mic held on short flexible arm – whichever better suits your needs.
Velcro means one could move this headset to another helmet by finding some similar sticky Velcro loop material should that need arise.
The extent to which the cabling will be hidden will depend on your preferred mounting location and helmet type.
The connection to the device is specific to this product, for example I found a standard USB C cable didn’t fit, an adaptor won’t deliver sound to a set of headphones.
I suspect this is more than simple proprietary connectors, as the connection is tight in order to be waterproof, which is necessary, but that does restrict one to the supplied cables.
The headset connects only one way; wires pointing down.
Sound is clear and the volume comes through as loud and potentially louder.
The device receives calls automatically after 12 seconds, calls can be answered before this or cancelled by the main centre “power” switch.
Voice commanding a mobile phone is supported, so ET can phone home.
Use of buttons with gloves is always an issue, the thicker the mitt, the harder the task, and some practise is always needed to habituate the hand to the commands.
The downside of the simple design of the FX2 is the volume up, “power” and volume down buttons are in a line, differentiated by a taller “power” button in the middle, making hitting the wrong one easier.
The intercom function works well as long as there is line of sight, and is compatible with other Fodsports intercoms.
I found the radio to be as useful as any FM radio search that progresses automatically up or down the frequency range, you get a lot of static before you find your preferred channel.
I haven’t had the opportunity to use the device to the point the battery charge empties, but the advertised usage times of 12-15 hours is very respectable.
In innovative and fairly priced solution to phone and intercom for riders.
First impressions do not disappoint it’s stylish and attractive.
Instructions are good you get a quick start ( mixed with other languages makes it a little hard to follow) and you get x more in-depth manual which is easy to follow and had some great graphics,
It took a while to set up( you need to read and take your time m).
Good control overall, only used indoor so far.
Happy with price point 55 to stay connected
I like that this intercom headset is hand’s free and has enough capability to keep me in touch with all my riding buddies when we are out and about, The sound quality is pretty good without too much interference from white noise. Other than the traffic outside, The sound is good.
I would recommend buying a few packs if you like to ride around with more than 2-3 people, Then there’s always one spare if another person joins the group.
The unit itself is quite intuitive to use and i found it easy to get setup, But it does come with instructions to help me along.
For the price this is a really good headset. Was easy to fit to my helmet using the provided fittings and sticky pads, simply peel and stick onto a clean helmet, the cables tuck into the liner and your good to go. Paired to my phone easily and sound of the music is pretty good through the unit. Make and receive calls easily. Took me a bit to get used to the buttons but more because i found it difficult feeling the buttons with my winter gloves on. Once I mastered that it got easier. Was able to pair this up with a fiend who has a slightly different model of Fodsports comm and it worked perfectly. I found when we had reasonable line of sight with each other the range was pretty good but got crackly if we were separated on the back twisty roads and lost line of site, came back immediately when we were back in view of each other though and this only happened occasionally, usually if a couple of cars got between us on the twisty roads when one of us were away round a bend. Very happy with this especially with the cost of extra headsets, very reasonable budget comms.
Worked very well and connected via Bluetooth immediately. Sound was crystal clear at speed and the microphone picked up my voice really well.
A good quality product that does it’s intended job very well.
FX2 motorbike intercom system. This connect via Bluetooth and allows for you to have use to what you would in a car. For example Bluetooth music, call taking, radio, dial assist, waterproof technology etc. Arrived very well packaged with clear instruction for use / setup. Seems to work well and fit in the ear / helmet really well. No complaints from me and nice to see that the seller is also offering a little discount at the moment. I think the price seems to be around average on Amazon when comparing. Long lasting battery and comes complete with charging cable for between use. Very happy 🙂
