It advertises as 3inches deep but compresses more easily than I’d hoped. It has a year guarantee so time will tell. The back cushion is very comfortable & feels more robus
The cushion is really comfy. I love it. My only wish is that the seat cushion had the same straps that the lumbar cushion has so it can be clipped into place and doesn’t move about so much

I bought this for my sciatica. It arrived fast and is super quality, lovely and spongy and soft! It’s plush on the outside. It’s a great product but hasn’t helped my sciatica when driving, so I’m going to find another shape to use. Cant fault the product itself, it’s great, just didn’t work for me!
Sadly this does not work well for driving for me at all which is disappointing as this was the reason I bought it. The back part is too chunky so I couldn’t sit comfortably with it behind me – it meant my shoulders had no support as it pushed me so far out! I drove with it for about 10 minutes and abandoned it!
The seat section it comfortable BUT it does not fill the whole of the seat (I drive a standard pickup truck with normal sized seats) so either you have nothing under your knees/front of legs or a gap at the back! As it is so chunky it lifts you a long way up and getting a good driving position was hard to do. It felt wobbly due to not filling the seat up. I have driven a couple of journeys with it, but ultimately today it also ended up in the back seat as it was causing pain in my lower back from feeling unstable.
I think it you want this for sitting in a chair it could work, for driving I would not recommend.

I have put it in my car which is where I need it and sat on it! Again, comfy but is pretty big so really raises you up – will take a bit of getting used to in terms of car seat position I think. If you have a car where you can lower and raise the seat this would not be an issue but I don’t and felt very high up sitting there!
The back part for the car feels nice to lean against, but now I feel I need something to go behind my upper back & neck as when this is down low for lumbar support (which is where I need it) I feel there is a massive gap at the top of the seat where I am unsupported. However, I have yet to actually drive with it so time will tell!
Only been using the support cushion for a week, but it’s really helped my lower back pain. The back rest slides down the chair quite a bit, which can be a bit annoying, but that might just be the type of chair I am using! overall I’m really pleased with it. It’s feels robust and like it will last.
I purchased this to use on my powerchair with hope of pressure relief. It’s a very firm cushion that at first felt much too hard for me personally however I persevered and after 8 days began to get used to it. Making sure you are correctly positioned in the coccyx area is a must. All in all still getting used to it but 4/5 is a thumbs up from me.
I love this. My posture has improved and the lower back pain I had is no longer today. Even my sciatica pain has improved and I have now pain in my leg. Should have bought this ages ago.
The back support and cushion seem an ideal combination as you can position them the right distance for your height. They were squeezed quite small and were very smelly when released but 24 hours later there is no further smell
I got this because I was unexpectedly working from home again and had very uncomfortable kitchen chairs. I wasn’t sure given the reviewed but it’s pretty comfortable and helps make sitting for long periods easier. Not as good as an office chair of course but not bad. I have a sore back and it doesn’t aggrevate it.
It’s made me sit a bit higher, so I can see better . I had terrible pain from a trapped nerve sitting and therefore driving were agony. I drove 60+ miles last week and was almost pain free, what a difference. Might bring it into the house yet!

I use several office chairs, one for each workstation I’ve set up for my business. All but one chair is comfortable, and leaves me with quite bad pain in the coccyx area.
The chair is cheap, but fits into the little office area perfectly, so replacing it isn’t easy. I just struggled with the pain, and then I bought this chair cushion. It’s perfect for me, and I have no more pain. I’ve also found that it doesn’t really slip around as some people have found. Maybe it’s the original chair material that makes the difference.
I have found that I don’t actually need the lumbar support pillow, but the pillow is well shaped, and seems to have plenty of support. The set was such a reasonable price, I am happy to pop the pillow into a cupboard, out the way for the moment.
All in all, fir me at least, it’s been worth every penny.

Let’s be honest – working from home during COVID-19 has required a lot of adaptations to home for work purposes. I got this seat cushion because it was getting very uncomfortable in the chair that I was using and I am glad that I did get it – it has proven to be a massive relief and has made my working day much easier. Plus, because I bought it myself, it’s always mine in case I switch jobs. For all of those points, the price is a very small one compared with the support, pain relief and comfort that it brings.
This product supports and maintains correct posture while seated. It offers those who suffer from lower back pain associated with sitting for long periods of time in office chairs etc great pain relief and comfort.
I spend all my work days sitting. Although I have an “ergonomic ” chair, I find my thighs and back take strain.

Well what can I say I love both cushions, I had been using an old kitchen chair which was actually quite painful to sit at a desk with for long periods. This has changed my posture and Its comfortable, I am also going to use the cushion on car journeys and already used it as my new yoga / meditation cushion. Highly recommended, Delivered on time. Had a severe back and hip pain could not find comfort in anything else round the house so read the reviews on this product and decided to go for it. Surprisingly it relieved the pains. I’ve been using especially on my office chair which is heavy and uncomfortable though am waiting for the delivery of an office chair from amazon.
I purchased this product almost a month ago. It took me a couple of days to find the right position for the cushion and lumbar support and I also experienced a mild back pain, I believe because my body had to adapt to the new sitting position. Before using the combo I had to constantly change position because of the pain in my back. Now my sitting posture seems to be finally correct because the pain is completely gone. The product works and is definitely a much cheaper option than buying a new and expensive office chai
Good amount of cushioning in the right areas. Straps for back support to fit around a chair are really helpful to keep it in position.

The cushions are firm and supportive. The straps on the lumbar support are not tight enough to hold it in place on the dining room chair I’m using, but a rolled up towel between the chair and the straps works for me. The straps would work well on a padded office chair or car seat.
I’ve only used the for a couple of days, but they’ve provided a vast improvement to my comfort.
Using for about a week now and it’s been a pleasant experience. The foam is great and the way you can just ‘configure’ the cushions helps a ton when trying to find the sweet spot for your back.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to make solid straps instead of elastic ones, maybe? My back cushion moves a bit from time to time and i have to adjust it. Nothing that an extra strap couldn’t help with either, so I’m using a spare suspender to hold it now.
My back and neck suffer from the work I do as an Electrologist. Then sitting at the computer puts added strain to those areas. Now its a pleasure to sit on the office chair and feel totally supported and comfortable.
As anyone with back or bone issues knows, it can take a while to be sure this is the right product for you. So far, I have found the base and lumbar support very comfortable, but I’ve only been using them for short periods for a few days. Both are firm and I have to shuffle them around to get them into the right position. They are definitely an improvement on sitting in a standard chair without any cushioning.
I used the back part for a 5 hour drive! Works so so well in the car. The bottom piece I couldn’t use because it was too thick so I was too tall in my Aygo

Very sturdy and supportive. I suffer from tremendous pain if I sit for any length of time. This cushion and back rest enable me to join my daughter and her family to say watch a film rather than staying in bed.
By the end of the first week of a zoom course my back was in agony, constantly distracting me. I bought these support cushions and immediately felt an improvement. Now in the third week I’m completely comfortable and pain free both during and after class. Highly recommended!
Excellent product. The seat cushion is good for a chair booster as it is nice and high and does not squash to nothing when you sit on it. The back support has adjustable straps and can any chairs. Very happy with my product after 1 week of use.
It’s early days as yet, but they are a cost effective solution to poorly designed office chairs. I feel the price is pretty top heavy for what you get but in comparison to a 1000+ investment chair, it offers some degree of value. However if these require an annual replacement (the warranty only lasts for 12 months) because of some form of planned obsolescence, this value ratio may change and over a long term the chair may offer a sounder posture investment. I would say that, unlike many posture chairs it is relatively easy to change the height of the lumbar for height difference but how long the elasticated straps stay tense enough, again is a potential issue.
We shall see if the price drops when less people are working from home again.
Currently though, they certainly seem to be helping my posture and my back which is a very positive thing in my opinion.
As it stands I would recommend them.

Not sure it’s meant to be comfy, it is helping to correct my horrendous posture and give support for my back on my shoddy old home office chair. The support it gives is great. It’s fairly comfy, though not more comfy than slouching. I am lucky to not suffer a great amount of back pain so am unable to comment on its pain relief.
Office chairs were so expensive and I already had a perfectly decent but not very comfortable chair. This is a great buy at a fraction of the cost for a new office chair. Definitely recommend it.
Comes looking small but opens up as soon as you release the packaging. Bought because of Covid-19 and having to work from home and needed to “replace” my ergonomic chair at work without spending a small fortune and no space for the chair at home. This does the trick nicely and is super comfy, personally i find the upper back bit too much for the chair i have it on but i can see me using it other times and travelling with this too

My office has the worst chairs ever to sit on. After months of pain, I purchased these hoping to find relief. The cushions really did help. My coworkers (who borrowed them when I was working from home) said the same. It made my work days better for sure. I recommend it.
FORTEM Seat Cushion & Lumbar Support is currently giving me relief. The back support has enough cushioning and is firm and soft at the same time. The seat cushion remains slightly harder so not so comfortable but manageable. The fact they are portable is a plus too and I have been able to use them in my car, whilst visiting friends and at home. Excellent value for money.
Absolutely happy with the product. I bought it for my husband and like it very much. Since he started using it he never complained with the pain in his back. I recommend this product to anyone who have problem on their back.
I have only been using this product for a couple of days and I find it to be brilliant. The back support doesn’t slip down the chair and the cushion doesn’t move around. It is really good for anyone with bad back. I have been so uncomfortable at work and since using this I am not as sore and I seem to be standing up a bit easier too. I would buy again.
Impressed with this product. It seems to work for me. I use it on a bamboo conservatory dining chair where I study. Much more comfortable now & of course it’s mobile and can be used anywhere. It does make you a little higher of course but you get used to that.
The seat part is great and comfortable, a little jiggling to ensure it stays in the right place when trying to get in but it stays put. The back part is another story, it moves and becomes uncomfortable which is a pain when you are driving as you either have to put up or jiggle whilst driving – which isn’t recommended. Overall, glad I got it, when I master it I’m sure both parts will be great.
After working on my feet for the last two years I got a new job sitting down! Eight weeks in and I’m suffering with lower back pain and headaches. This is more expensive than others you can get but all I’ll say is you get what you pay for. It’s great!
I suffer from back pain regularly so couldn’t wait to try this. The seat is so comfortable and I feel very supported. The lumbar support is also great as it’s adjustable so great for short people like me. Very easy to use. Seems like a quality product.
The base used for driving seat great. Supportive & comfortable. The back is a little too padded for what I need for the lumbar spine. It held me too far forward and could not adjust the seat tilt without my head position too far back, nor the seat back that feet reached peddles comfortably. But the quality is great. The back portion may yet come in use for another chair. Only had it a few days.

Used for driving after a back injury. Very comfortable and supported my lumbar spine and my thighs. Can’t comment on pain relief, as I don’t have pain, but I’m anticipating that I will now be able to drive for longer without aches and pains kicking in.
I used this support cushion in the passenger seat of the car as my daughter had been getting backache from sitting in the old seat. The cushion offers better support and is super soft. Its early days and i need to keep trying altering the position of the back support to get it just right.
I highly recommend this seat and back cushion set. I started working from home and found my back was hurting in the mornings, so I ordered these cushions for my home office chair, and now I no longer have back pain. I wouldn’t say it’s more comfortable, it just prevents back pain.
I really like the seat cushion. I have Fibromyalgia & need to use a wheelchair to go out. So if I have to spend a few hours in it, I find it very uncomfortable whilst pain levels increase. Now, I have a lovely velvet cushion to seat on (love that it’s removable & can go in the washing machine & I use it on long car journeys). The lumbar support also makes a big difference. The first time I tried the cushion and back support, I was a little disappointed, although it was extremely comfortable. I used on the sofa at home (back support seemed to work fine with using straps) and on my office chair. Over the course of the next few days, I was really surprised by the amount of relief and support given to my painful lower back and hips. A week later my hips are now almost pain-free for the first time in ages, whilst my back is responding more slowly, but is definitely more comfortable and less stiff. In fact, I am considering buying another set for work to save me carrying them backwards and forwards! Thank you so much for such a good product that really works!
A great product, very supportive and very comfortable, transformed my car seat and cured my niggling lower back pain from spending long hours driving on a weekly basis, came well packaged, just make sure you give it plenty of time to expand once you remove it from the packaging.
Bought these for my home office chair – they are awesome! I find that the lumbar support is comfier around mid-back where it works like wings on a bucket seat providing excellent cushioning. I can’t comment of the therapeutic qualities of the set because I didn’t have any issues prior to buying it. One thing the lumbar support could do with is a sturdier fastening system – if you, like me, want to use this cushion for mid-back, the stretchy straps do not provide enough hold to support the cushion at mid-back level.

The lumbar support was excellent but the square edges of the seat cushion made it a bit uncomfortable behind the legs. Hopefully it will soften in time.

In my opinion it is So comfy, very supportive.. I feel like it’s hugging me and provides extra padding round my tender back and seems to absorb the bumps in the road before they reach me..Obviously I’m not 100% pain free but would say this cushion helps massively.
I believe it has truly saved me from having to take time off work..!

This was bought for my wife for use in the car. Once unpacked the cushions expanded and we tried them in the car. The back support was secured in the seat with two adjustable straps and the seat cushion out in place. We adjusted the back for best comfort and the whole was very comfortable. In a drive potholes and level crossing tracks vibrations were damped and it was declared a success.
Swapping from passenger to driving seat needed that back rest to be unclipped, removed and reclipped, a little tedious. I tried driving with both cushions but found the seat cushion was slightly unstabilising, the back cushion was good though. We stopped using the seat cushion for driving and my wife didn’t feel the need for the back cushion so we stopped using it. She still used the seat cushion when in the passenger seat. When I sit there I have to remove it as it is too high for me to even get in.
Overall then, for my wife’s condition it works well but the back support is difficult to swop L to R and the seat didn’t suit either of us driving.
Great product, the seat cushion has really helped my back pain. The back cushion was really uncomfortable for me though so I haven’t used that.
I was having pain in my coccyx from sitting on my work’s chair for long periods during the day. I have found this cushion very comfortable and supportive, and from the second day of using it no longer get any pain. I would recommend this item. I have yet to use the lumbar support.

Spent a lot of time researching what to buy to make sitting on my computer chair more comfortable as I am quite short and have problems with my back. The seat cushion raises me enough to make using the computer more comfortable (to all prospective buyers when you get this delivered make sure you follow the instructions and allow the time suggested for the foam to expand) once it has expanded its very comfortable and after use expands again. The back cushion provides the support needed for my back, couldn’t do without it now.
Supported my back very well but for me as I am quite short I feel it would work better with a foot rest as well.
Used by an invalid wife who has to spend a lot of her time sitting . It is comfortable and supportive . Seems to be well made .
Quite surprised at how good this is, having tried a load of support cushions I have to say this is the best, I didn’t think it would be, I thought it would be going straight back but it is actually really comfortable and provides full support.
It forces me to sit up properly in my desk chair, without being uncomfortable or feeling like I am being forced to sit upright.
The two separate parts mean its easy to move about to get the position that best suits you, and can be used seperateky or together and in all sorts of locations.
The elastic chair straps are also so so handy and good as others I have bought have been rigid.
Another really useful feature is that the covers can be zipped off and washed separately.
Really pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Would highly recommend!
The cushion is comfortable, and is in use in the car. The lumbar support does not help my condition (spinal stenosis), as it is hard and pushes me too far forward. This is not a complaint, just the wrong solution for my particular problem.
Having returned to full time education again, resulting in more desk work, this has been very helpful to me. I have hypermobility and damaged my tailbone a few years ago which meant I had to move around and fidget to get comfortable and to not feel sore. I was using these for a few hours the other day and found that I actually sat still the whole time without pain. I’ve put 4 stars just because I haven’t had it long yet and uni is about to kick off again so that will be the real test!
Excellent. I. Couldn’t bare sitting in my chair for longer than a few minutes (a chair that should be comfy) now. I have sat for 3 hours without needing leg break!
I feel this is worth a buu for the price. The straps for the back rest are amazing as well. Stretch right riund the chair to fit to size.
I’m heavy set and would prefer a wider cushion, I think that would add to the comfort. Apart from that I really like it.
