Although a “racing game”, how about some standard retro rides? Nova, Granada, Sierra or Chavalier etc..?
The game really deserves a detailed uk town (apart from Edinburgh).

Exceptional stuff. Probably the greatest arcade racer ever released, just packed to the gills even without DLC. Beautiful to look at and great sound as well, very much a must buy if you own any of the Xbox consoles.
Excellent game. Son plays this for yours with friends online.
Great fun for just messing about, driving around doing some races tuning cars, works pretty damn well with steering wheels too just don’t put the “simulation mode steering” on because it’s awful I’ve played a fair few driving simulators and none of them are anything like that it’s practically undrivable in my opinion.

Awesome game. Just the right level of fun, silliness and of course racing. It MADE me buy some add-ons because it was so good. Only downside is lack of local coop play- it may be there but I haven’t found it yet.

On intial playing it looks like it will be a very arcade style open world racer, graphics are exceptional, audio is good & with what time I haver had playing it very easy to get to grips with
Purchased as a Prime Day Deal at 14.99, and worth every penny.
A notable improvement in Horizon 3 in every department and with the addition of the seasons the best looking yet by far. The menu system has been tweaked and is now easier to use and the handling model has been improved after the overly drift happy Horizon 3. I read some complaints that it is overly arcade like in feel but this isn’t a simulator, if that’s what you want that there are plenty of games out there to fill the void. The map is certainly smaller than Horizon 3 but has more varied scenery and elevation change and the addition of different seasons makes it feel like a bigger map than it actually is. The lighting and weather effects are very impressive and the addition of numerous seemingly small details, like being able to alter the track width of the cars, make for a more complete game. Houses are a nice addition and remove the necessity to trek across the map to a Horizon Hub.
The prize spins are now polluted by items to dress your character in, most of which are hideous but this relatively pointless and narcissistic addition is to be expected in modern gaming. However, this is more than made up for by the line up of cars, which is as impressive as you would expect from a Forza title. Easy to pick up, easy to play and highly recommended if you have even a passing interest in cars.
Really good game and very good map. It really reminds me of burnout paradise but done better. I will say the game gets confusing 10 hours in. It seems to flip the game on its head and it felt very overwhelming to me and I had no idea what was going on.
Other than that it’s brilliant. Really liking the horizon stories and the inclusion on top gear.
Playing on the latest (April 2020 fresh install MS direct download) Windows 10 pro, via the Windows Store. Running flawlessly on my I7 9700k, GTX980ti, 32GB system.
Negative points
– 70+Gb download (crippled my internet over two evenings. My internet is not fibre)
– Ms/Windows Store sign in obligatory (can of worms, I’ll say no more)
– price is too high (24.99 base game) when you factor in the DLC on top (15 and another 10-15).
– in game car auctioning system flawed.

You can’t really write a review on a video game as it all comes down to personal interests and opinions. For me this game is perfect. Doesn’t run that well on my pc but that is due to my pc and the game needing quite a bit of RAM. The graphics are amazing even on lowish levels. The overall racing and driving experience is amazing. Well made game and I will continue to buy the Forza Horizon franchise (Even though this game was expensive for me)

Xmas present for the kids , hours of fun – really amazing graphics brilliant sound track – nothing like Rappers Delight while driving at 200 MPH in Winter!
The amount of detail is incredible and it runs fast and smooth.
I crashed through a wall and into a field and there were even sheep which scattered out of the way
Excellent game. Driving through the UK in all weathers and racing too. Very scenic using an XBox One X and a 4K TV.
The map is beautiful and vibrant. More of an arcade racing game though – both AI and players crash into each other like it’s bumper cars or something. Simulation damage does nothing, I have all assists off and it still feels like something is helping me. If you’re looking for a good open world game and casual fun with friends and strangers this is probably the best game out there currently. (To be fair it’s probably the only game in this category)
This has got to be the best Horizon game so far .
The villages , towns and country side are a blast to drive through , I love these racer .
This game does lean on to the casual end (not going as far as NFS though), but you can’t not have a blast playing this game.
