I grew up in the 70s and 80s where a box with this much output power would be the size of small microwave oven. This puts out power to the point where I can barely go above 60 % volume with my outdoor patio speakers I have it connected to.
I leave it on almost always and when I want music in my garden I direct my bluetooth to the appropriate device.
Wanted to add a permanent audio solution for our outdoor space versus using portable BT speakers and decided to set-up this combo:
– Fosi Audio BT20A
– Polk Audio Atrium 6 Speakers
The BT connectivity is quick and simple, no apparent glitches or issues with dropping a connection (have roamed about 40-50 ft away with no loss). It easily drives these speakers with great sound…I have the Vol knob set to about 85% so I can adjust the volume with my iOS device and source.
I bought this amplifier because I needed one for some speakers I bought for my Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB turntable. I had never owned/purchased an amplifier before and I couldn’t have been more satisfied with my purchase! Very easy to use and I really like that you can adjust the treble, bass, and volume. BONUS: it also works with Bluetooth! I can now connect my Apple TV, Phone, and Mac via Bluetooth to the FOSI amp and it will play through my turntable speakers! Audio sounds great for the price!
Using with record player and passive speakers. So happy with this! Blue tooth is simple to connect. Like it so much I’ll probably upgrade with same brand, with more power, a sub out, more tuning options and remote.
Also- my apartment building has a speaker system on our rooftop that never gets used because it requires an RCA connection. If you’re using your using a phone that’s- RCA > Aux > phone dongle. Then you gotta leave your phone at the connection. With this, I plug it is and use the Bluetooth. Look at me bringing my buildings sound system into 2023!
Sleek, compact design. Solid metallic construction. Great sound. The customer service is excellent! They respond quickly to emails and were easy to work with as we diagnosed the problem and methodically worked through the steps to isolate where the issue was. Once we identified that it was due to a defective unit, they sent me a new one.
Pictured is the multi-zone audio setup I’ve assembled to make use of the built-in speakers in my home. Each of these amps is paired with an Echo Dot 4, and the sound is excellent. Yes, I realize that Sonos and others make a device that combines the amp and the sound source; I am already in the Echo ecosystem and don’t want to create another account (at Sonos), install another app (from Sonos), and create another paid membership (with Sonos). The above setup seamlessly integrates with both Alexa and Spotify.
Great little amp which I paired with some 4.5″ Polk audio outdoor speakers . Good sound clarity and enough power! Bluetooth works great and good value for money
Ett mycket bra kp fr liten peng. Bra ljud fr en s liten frstrkare. Rekommenderas
I really thought that i was turning crazy spending $70 on this toy. Earlye ,before a was reading and following channels like “cheapaudioman” talking about this tiny wonder ,..but i was aware that could be marketing.
When i received it and opened ,i confirmed : i was crazy spending money on this small amp. Anyway i connect it and magic happened ! i couldn t believe it . Sounds powerfull , clear, pure ,sophisticated . amazing .My olds Cerwin Vega Dx 5 came alive again linked to my laptop . Definitively BUY IT ,it worths !
Datenblatt 2 X 50 Watt an 8 Ohm.
Also Lyle Mays mit Northern Lights. Hm. Also mus Al Di Meola mit Sequenzer ran.
I am using the “Fosi Audio BT20A-S” as a desktop sound system, I have the amp connected to my Mac Mini via a mini-headphone to RCA cable and output to a pair of passive high-end speakers (MORDAUNT-SHORT AVIANO 1 XR’s). Primary use is playing music using Apple’s Music App, the media files are located on my home NAS connected via wi-fi, so there are a lot of components involved.
I was always disappointed when listing to music playing from the Mac through a good pair of active Bose computer speakers, there was a lack of depth and the sound was “compressed’. Now with this new set-up I am very impressed. It will never be as good as my $20,000 hi-fi system but frankly for the low cost of the Fosi amp the performance is stunning.
Comments:
1. Use good quality speaker cables and gold plated banana plugs.
2. Set output volume on the Mac and in the Music App to maximum and control volume with the Fosi.
3. Experiment with EQ settings on the Mac, the effects are noticeable and you can fine tune the sound to your taste.
Needed something to replace the front room system and not too costly with it. This has the bonus of Bluetooth so I won’t need to buy a new receiver. Was treating this as a temporary fix but I think it maybe permanent.
Bought this unit for my covered front porch. I had been using receivers that I had purchased on Marketplace, but I had gone through two of them in 3 years. I ran across this on Amazon. I figured for the price, it was worth a try. I am using it to power two old Klipsch bookcase speakers and it sounds impressive. No excess heat from the unit with it on for over an hour at full volume. When my receiver in my shop craps out, I will be replacing it with another one of these.
Plenty of clarity out of this little guy at medium listening levels through Polk RTI6 “bookshelf” speakers (not sure what kind of bookshelf would fit 14″ high and 14″ inch deep speakers). Solid and tight bass, smooth highs that can sparkle a little depending on the material. I have it hooked up to an old Onkyo CD player.
100 watts x 2? How about 10 real watts into these 8 ohm speakers MAYBE. It gets plenty loud enough for my home office listening purposes, but it’s not going to shake a large room.
Lol at the person using this as a power amp and a Marantz 2226 (which has at least 3x the RMS wattage) as a preamp/tuner.
I’m so glad I got this. Fantastic piece of kit. Nicely made and so easy to set up. The sound quality is phenomenal for the size of the unit. I’m running Tibo Harmony 8 speakers and they sound amazing. Brilliant item.
I picked up this, along with a $30 chromecast puck and $10 HDMI-to-component converter. Those turn this into a wonderful little “smart amp” that streams music losslessly directly over wifi and is fully controllable from my android phone – including volume/mute. This little beast produces a super clean sound through it’s RCA inputs. The bass/treble are great to have as well – though those have to be controlled on the amp itself.
The speakers are up to you. There are tons of options for budget passive speakers, especially if you’re willing to bargain hunt on other platforms (used/open box). Personally I went with Polk for bookshelf speaker and a small powered subwoofer: about $400 for the two – but i bet I could have found very similar results for much cheaper. It sounds absolutely amazing – the best sound I’ve ever personally owned for music. And the fact that there’s no bulky receiver involved is the icing on the cake. (don’t completely hide it – good idea to shut the amp off when not in use)
I cannot speak for the bluetooth functionality and am now wishing I saved a few bucks to get one without it.
Impressionnant !
Surprisingly small power amp which enables me to use my analogue turntable via a pre amp which are cheap to buy. I can Bluetooth my music from my iPhone via Amazon music unlimited which produces Dolby atmos and HD sound quality. Very pleasing purchase.
Great little amplifier, and easy to connect your Bluetooth device. Great sound, for the price.
This is a great little amplifier. Lovely sound from my Q Acoustic speakers. Bluetooth not as good as the line input but still fine. If you are thinking of using it with an old turntable that has a phono output you will need a pre amp. I missed this point when I bought mine.
Another point is that due to its size you need to manage the cables at the back a bit better that you would with a bigger uni
This min amp was very pleasing to my ear’s .. as I was after a small amp for my studio room that could drive my nice speakers
Got this for a set of in celling speakers that were never hooked up in a friend’s house.
The setup was extremely easy and the terminals on the back of the amplifier made connecting up the speakers very easy.
The sound quality is pretty good for its size it’s no audiophile grade but its above average I feel especially if you mess around with the built-in EQ.
Good amp, not as powerful as the said wattage (not a touch on a full sized A class amp from the 80s with less power). Last similar one I had died after 1.5 years, so will see how this goes. Doesn’t seem to connect automatically like last amp, so have to manually connect each time.
I needed an amplifier with a small footprint to replace my Denon PMA-250 SE. This fits the bill perfectly. Sound quality is as good as the Denon. I am using it with Dali Spektor 2 speakers, and this makes for a space saving setup with great sound. There is space for only one input, but that is not a problem for me as I have it connected to my network music streamer (Tibo Bond Mini if you are interested). Bluetooth does override everything, so this could be a problem if a close neighbour decides to take control! Altogether, I am very pleased with this little gem.
As already stated by many the size or lack of, is the thing that really got me…. but it does a fantastic job of playing music…… my only minus point is when there’s no music playing there’s a low level hum that can be heard from my speakers, but this is rectified by flicking the switch to the blue tooth setting….. although I won’t be using the Bluetooth setting, it does work and works well. The size is a perfect choice for me as i needed it to fit in a book shelf.
There’s plenty of sound volume but it does sound rather lacklustre. The BT connectivity is arguably too simple (connect and BT’s all you get – probably fine for a lot of people though I guess). There’s no security on the BT; anyone that can see the device can connect to it. More than a little underwhelmed but not quite enough to return it.
The sound quality is great; powering my Mission 750 LE bookshelf speakers. Very easy to set up and connecting with Bluetooth was super quick and works even from other rooms. I connected the speaker wires with some good quality banana plugs and those, along with the RCA connector and power adapter connected added a fair amount of weight to the back of the tiny amp which meant it lifted up at the front. I was hoping to sit the amp on top of one of the speakers but it was unstable so had to position it elsewhere.
I have my little Bluetooth Fosi in the kitchen coupled to some ELAC bookshelf speakers. I play Spotify music over Bluetooth from my Android phone and it produces a good sound. Perhaps not quite loud enough, but then it is a big kitchen and I do like music loud. What stuns me is that the level of background noise is unexpectedly very low, which makes this amplifier a very usable desirable device.
Needed a budget hifi setup having spent a long time renovating house and depleting the bank account whilst having to listen to a certain brand of smart speaker that shall rename nameless. Paired this amp with a pair of Q Acoustics 3020i’s and for the money you pay for it the sound is fantastic, think some people forget this is not a 300+ amp. Better quality with the RCA but bluetooth is perfectly acceptable and able to fill a smallish room with a warm rich sound. I have not experienced any issues with connectivity so far and can switch between devices without any issues or the need to power it down. Fantastic little amp for the money, well worth it.
I bought this as an experiment, in place of a 400 hi-fi amplifier. I wasn’t expecting much at the price, but it amazed me – it drives my 8ohm vintage speakers as loud as the amp it replaced, and with a better, more open sound quality. The Bluetooth works well. The only inconveniences are that Bluetooth and RCA inputs are exclusive – you can only have one active at a time; there’s only one RCA input so you need a small analog mixer if you have several analog sources (mine cost only 18); and there’s no headphone output. With the mixer and a mini preamp for my vinyl record turntable, I’ve built a new system that sounds better than what it replaced for under 100!
Exceeded my expectations, I don’t have any issues and pleased with the purchase.
It just works, plenty good enough quality for my listening, probably/definitely not audiophile but perfect for the money.
Powerful, and perfect for powering my two ceiling speakers (75w each) seamless with Alexa via bluetooth, and sounds great at high and low volumes.
I have read many reviews of similar items and decided to plump for this one. Chinese no-brands tend to amaze and disappoint in equal measure.
It arrived today, the power supply is actually wider than the amp itself. The amp is made out of metal and rather nicely finished. Incidentally the power supply is 24v 4.5 amps, 108 watts and claims to be certified by TUV and GS two highly respected German Laboratories. Even so, its probably a good idea to check the fuse in the plug is 5a if you intend to leave it left switched on. This unit claims to contain two Texas Instrument chips for amplification and one by Qualcomm, the latter presumably for Bluetooth.
I found some old QED speaker cable I had lying around and hooked it up to an old pair of Tannoy Eclipses I have owned since the eighties. I have to say, so far I am pretty amazed by this unit. It’s very clear, detailed and loud with loads of bass. I would estimate equally it is as good as one of those 500 Japanese hifi stack systems from the eighties. Is it hi-fi? Hi-fi is as good as your hearing and to get great sound you have to pay a lot, so who knows. I would say this is a bargain and would be great to use with a couple of old speakers sitting in the loft. Certainly better than most portable speakers folk use these days.
Some have experienced a problem with the Bluetooth, well it says it supports BT5.0, i have an iPhone 13 and it sounds great, so can only presume they had a defective unit or possibly phone.
Someone suggested it really needs a remote control, well maybe if you connect via the phono sockets yes, but don’t forget you can adjust the volume for bluetooth on your phone.
Altogether (and yes it’s early days) a rather terrific and great value little amplifier, it’s going in my study so I can turn it up loud without bothering the neighbours. 🙂
Added 31/12/2021. Someone criticised this for the way Bluetooth was implemented and the possibility of others having access to it. Well in theory, yes they can as there is no PIN, but there isn’t on most similar pieces of equipment. However if you switch it off and unplug, this is not a problem. My Sony headphones connect automatically when they are turned on. This amp only connects when I choose to on my iPhone, it doesn’t connect automatically once paired, which I think is a good idea for this type of device
Very pleasantly surprised by this Bluetooth amp. Couldn’t think what to do with my good quality old hifi speakers… Now they are giving me great sound via Bluetooth from my phone!
Easy to set up, works well with echo dot 4th gen, needs to be manually switched on and off. Connected to Sony bookshelf speakers, smart TV and echo dot 4 makes an ideal bedroom set up with great stereo sound.
Seems to work as intended, powering my first ever hifi speakers so have nothing to compare them to, to my ears they sound good so can’t complain, powering q acoustics 3020’s from my pc using this and an Amazon basics RCA to headphone jack adaptor 🙂 happy listening ps, would have liked the black version to be the same cost as the silver one, black simply looks better, but the extra 10 or so was kind of hard to justify for my budge
For the paltry asking price, this little gem delivers lovely sound quality! I am using it as part of a desktop system where my music from my PC is piped into a portable DAC via USB and fed into the BT20A via RCA. My speakers are Dali Spektor 1’s. I have no intention of testing the amp without a DAC. I believe a good quality DAC is absolutely essential for a good desktop sound system. I also have no intention of testing it a higher volumes for distortion which other reviewers seem to have a problem with. I only play music at levels I am comfortable with. Within these parameters I find that the amp is brilliant, has a smooth and and balanced sound. To my ears there is more than enough detail in the sound for a small desktop system. Obviously the resolution is not as good as the full, more expensive, audio system which I have in my living room.
Interestingly, before I bought the Fosi BT20A, I initially bought a Tangent BT Ampster ii through another retailer, not Amazon. Although the sound was decent – it kept going into standby during playback for a few seconds before coming back into play. This was frustrating and I did not want to go through the trouble of getting a replacement in case this not resolve the problem. Unfortunately there were not really any budget products with class A/AB amplification to choose from. So I retuned it for a refund and nervously decided to try the Fosi BT20A (which is a class D amp) from Amazon based on many good reviews. I was not disappointed. I have only used it so far for two days, and hope it has a long life.
My very old (massive) amp had finally had its day so I bought this on the basis of other reviews, and it’s not at all disappointing. Very small but well made unit with plenty enough grunt to drive my floor standing speakers loud enough (and then some) and the sound quality is as good as I’d expect from a much more expensive unit. Took a little tweaking of the bass and treble to get the flat/studio response I prefer.
The Bluetooth range and quality is pretty good too, a bit of googling reveals it’s a Qualcomm system on a chip that supports both AAC (supported by iPhones) and APTX for everything else (not just the lousy SBC codec). Simply connecting to the Bluetooth (‘Fosi Audio’) interrupts the RCA inputs, and disconnecting restores them, which is about as smooth an experience as you could ask for.
Overall a really good bit of kit. Be aware though that it has an external power supply that’s bigger than the unit itself!
Great little amp. Bought fit my bedroom but after hearing the quality/and at volume of sound. Going to have one in both living room and bedroom. Bt connects instantly. Very happy
I bought this to run two very good Sony speakers from an old Hi-Fi system that had gradually ceased to work.I was not disappointed. Sound sounds good to me. It plays Bluetooth from my tablet and line-in from a CD deck. Need to remember to adjust volumes when changing source as line-in is louder, otherwise can be deafening!
Nice sound via Bluetooth, sad Bluetooth does not connect by auto and needs to be connected by the user each time, still good value.
Works and sounds great!
Powers my two 150w tower speakers easily.
Clear and loud.
Bluetooth connects quickly, although it does require manually connecting to it every time it’s switched off, but this is fine for me.
I bought the fosi amplifier to replace my teac 45 Watts per channel amp that had a few issues due to age and years of use and to my surprise the fosi amplifier sounded really good,
The sound stage was really nice with good stereo imaging plenty of power loads of bass .
The Technics cd player SL-PG520A sounded great, also hooked up bluetooth from my Samsung s20 and was really good quality sound very pleasant the speakers I have are very efficient so the volume didn’t need to be very high considering they have 12″ drivers and are large, altogether a great purchase if I could say anything that might be a slight criticism it would be the treble it’s quite bright I ended up setting it at about 10 o’clock on the dial it might be different with other speakers.
To sum up I think the amp is excellent and worth the price, will probably buy more fosi stuff in the future as they add more things like left and right adjustment loudness hi low option headphones jack speakers a+b , remote control.
Next day delivery.
Well packaged.
No need to read operating instructions.
Attached a pair of Fenton floor standing speakers.
Powered up amp – red light.
Turned Bluetooth on tablet – red light went blue!
Played my favourite song via YouTube – excellent.
I am not someone who would usually write reviews, but his little unit is fantastic.
Sound : Great separation and clear as a bell, volume enough for a room 4m x 4m easily.
Build : I bought the aluminium case which looks really good. It feels really solid, the on off switch has a nice action and the three dials are nicely damped.
Connections : Bluetooth connects easily, speakers can be connected bare wire or with banana plugs.
Set-up: Samsung S9 streaming HQ Spotify, bare wire connections to 2 x Mission M71 70w 8ohm.
There is a detailed trouble shooting booklet that has loads of good info and is well written, I feel that the manufacturer really went the extra mile on this. Lovely box and packaging too.
I would recommend this unit unreservedly.
It is truly tiny. And makes a big sound come out of my Mordaunt Short floor standing speakers. I was staggered by the size…cigarette box size. Crystal clear sound about which I was sceptical
Used this item to set up on my daughters desk allowing the boosting of her Echo Dot and Surface Pro 7 sound quality. As i had some Kef 2001 speakers surplus to requirements, when combined with this small amp she now has a desktop setup that takes little space but vastly improves her ability to listen to music or watch movies. Once tucked away the amp is barely noticeable behind the desk monitor and its set up and usage is simple. Perfect for what i wanted to achieve.
When it arrived i couldn’t help but laugh at it’s size, anyway it’s here now so i might as well hear what it sounds like, i didn’t expect too much, but as soon as i turned up the volume…..well, i couldn’t believe it, i have an Arcam amplifier, but this little amp blew me away, how something as small as this, and 200 watts per channel, can sound so good, there was not a great deal of difference between this and my Arcam, which cost over six times more, if anyone is looking for a very good quality amp, at an incredible price, then this Fosi is well worth buying, it is fantastic for what it is.
Using it with my old Sony ARM-2ES speakers and it’s very nice for the money.
If you are looking at this. Buy it now while discounted. Missed the offer by couple of days and paid 80.Now on sale for 68.Was thinking of getting a pair of self powered speakers but not really what you can get on a low budget.I already a have a pair of Mordant Short MS10 which now make a perfect pairing to this little amp. They are great portable solution for music at my Tai Chi classes.Previously used a JBL battery powered BT speaker, ok but not the kind of musical experience I wanted for my classes.Had my speakers set up with the Fosi amp in no time.Great sound and stereo with speakers about 6ft apart.Fairly deep sound given that the MS10s are only bookshelf speakers and a bit bass light. No problem pairing bluetooth from my Samsung phone .I am not too unhappy that I missed a saving of over a tenner. At the current price, rush out and buy.I have had the amp on for nearly an hour now and it is only slightly warm.Makes me wonder why you could fry an egg on some hifi amps.Volume.Plenty loud enough, but still don’t expect it to blow the doors off.Sound quality, you would have to have golden ears to be unhappy. If the amp lasts a few years, brilliant, time will tell.If it blows up tomorrow then I will eat my words.I have never been so happy to endorse a product.Let me know if you can possibly find better cheaper. What are waiting for,as one reviewer said 🙂
I bought this product the Fido Audio BT20A Bluetooth Amplifier so I could link it to my NUMARK turntable and speakers. Through Bluetooth I have been able to link it to my phone and computer. Well so far I’m blown away by the perfect quality of sound through my speakers. So far everything works excellent.
This is a must have product that truly delivers on performance.
The service and delivery were spot on. I am very happy customer. Music to my ears.
Powerful little amp, great for the price and great Bluetooth connectivity. Definitely recommend ! Done my reviews before purchasing very pleased.
Excellent product, great sound, works straight out of the box, Excellent.
Great sound. Great value. Simple. I’ve connected to a vinyl deck via a pre-amp, and use either Bluetooth or the wired connection – it uses Bluetooth if you switch that on on your phone.
Immense capacity to drive my bookshelf speakers and/or Bluetooth tunes to an ear bleeding level.
Discrete, solid and impressed
My current 100W per channel stereo amplifier is 25 years old and beginning to drop its quality. I decided to invest in a new amp. So far I have been amazed by the quality of this little Fosi amp. Top frequencies, like cymbals, are crisp and clean, while bass is smooth and pure. Excellent channel separation means I can hear each instrument quite clearly. Have played rock, jazz, and classical CDs and it has delivered top quality sound for all types of music. Absolutely delighted with this little powerhouse.
A very compact device that, with a good pair of speakers, produces an excellent hi hi sound that can easily be controlled from a smart phone via Bluetooth.
Incredibly impressed with this little unit. Powers some outdoor speakers with ease, as well as a much much larger amp from 10 years ago. The Bluetooth connectivity is easy and range is also good.
What an absolutely amazing amp. I run my 100 watt tannoys off this and the sound quality is crystal. Lovely treble, punchy bass and no break down in performance. Would recommend to any one who wants a really good system at a budget.
Good amp for the price, Bluetooth option is so good
Tiny! Really small compared to the ancient (?!) mini stereo it replaced. Looks great, sounds clean, no background hums or hissing even at high volume. Excellent value for money, and yes, it’s loud. I haven’t dared turning it up to max, for fear of rattling my fillings out. Easy to connect; putting banana plugs on speaker cables made the wiring simple and neat with no frayed ends to short out or catch your fingers, mini jack input for the TV, supplied PSU plugged in, job done. Bluetooth input brings me kicking and screaming into the wireless age, I’m amazed how good the music on my phone sounds when BT’d over to this little gem. The aerial lets me show off when friends notice it: “It’s a tiny amp with Bluetooth!” I boast. It also gives me the opportunity to imagine having friends! Wonderful!
Really good product! Works with 8ohm speakers. Great bass adjustment and lots of volume
Fantastic item, I replaced a big hi-fi with this tiny amp and couldn’t be happier. Perfect for connecting to the headphone out of a TV so you can remotely control the volume and the Bluetooth couldn’t be easier to use, automatically switching from and back to the audio in as you connect and disconnect.
I bought this mini amp after trying two expensive soundbars and being disappointed with the quality and depth of the sound. Of course it helps that I was able to hook this up to a couple of decent bookshelf speakers, but I wasn’t prepared for the quality of sound that this little baby produces. It is a doddle to set up (banana plugs recommended, naturally) and within a minute I was up and running. I was blown away by the volume this unit can achieve, and with bass and treble controls you can tweak settings as required.
You simply can’t beat this unit for price, especially if you have a couple of bookshelf speakers sitting redundant in your loft. Even if you have to buy new speakers, the cost of that setup is much more value for money than some powered computer speakers or a soundbar.
I had intended this as a present to myself when I get my garden office in a few weeks, but having experienced what the Fosi Audio BT20A can do I’m afraid my family is going to have to put up with my overly-loud music until that point from my broom cupboard.
Sound is clean cannot hear any major noise in any of the music so pretty great, Bluetooth works grate, the only thing maybe is the power brick that needs to be turned off as it’s still using or shows its using electricity so just have to switch it off form the main, so maybe can be fix in the future models, but still for the price is great!
Fantastic bit of kit, connected to outdoor speakers a doddle, Easy Bluetooth connectivity
Best Amp for a fraction of the price of others …just buy i
EASY TO CONNECT UP AND SOUND QUALITY GREAT FOR GARDEN SPEAKERS
It is very small, so you think hmm how good can this be ? However it’s very well made, solid feel, quality connectors and dials, and the sound is amazing, I thought with my old amp the speakers we not great turns out it just needed a good amp. The sound is clear, rich and crisp, even in my setup with outside speakers. Defaults to RCA by the looks (red light) and you can see “Fosi Audio” for Bluetooth, connects immediately works perfectly (blue light).
Like the other reviewers, this is an unobtrusive gem with fabulous sound.
I had a Cambridge Audio amplifier, which has finally given up the ghost – annoying crackle and cut-out on one side of the stereo. It was driving me mad. I listen to classical music a lot. Looking around for a replacement stand-alone amp was proving costly – I have a brand new CA CD player and good CA bookshelf speakers which I didn’t want to junk (which I’d have had to if I’d bought a self contained hi-fi system, which at first seemed the only option) Looking around on the net I found this amazing little piece of kit and thought, well, this is so cheap that even if it’s not up to much it’s better than half the music being cut off periodically by my dying CA amp, and I went for it. It’s astonishing. It has plenty of power, and its treble and bass controls are very useful – my old amp didn’t have those – as I listen to old recordings too which sometimes need a bit of bass boost or treble cut-back. I have a mass of music on MP3 files on a computer in an adjacent room which I can now listen via the excellent reliable Bluetooth connection. The CD player connected to the little amp works fabulously too. The sound quality has plenty of presence and is not remotely tinny or restricted, which I’d feared with such a little machine. This is a brilliant idea and a mini-revolution in amp design. The folks at Fosi have found a serious hole in the market and plugged it with a great range of innovative and smart kit. Very highly recommended!
This tiny amp performs well, works exactly as advertised right out of the box, has tone controls and is great value for money.
Love the size, build quality and sound of this amp. Paired with a couple of JBL speakers it provides the sounds in the man cave! Excellent.
Had a slight issue and Carlos in the Customer Service team was very helpful and resolved. Thabks
Had this six months and it works perfectly to allow me to play stereo music on my little home office. Connected to Wharfdale Diamond speakers.
Was hesitant when buying but glad I did.
I needed an amp for the TV after my NAD spluttered to a halt. This amp is plenty loud enough for an average sized room. In fact it is a bit too loud and would benefit from a low volume selector so that there could be more sensitive control at low volumes. The bass and treble settings are quite aggressive with a lot of variance also.
I first bought the silver model but it was quite horrible and didn’t resemble the picture advertised on Amazon. I returned this and bought the black model, which is better looking. Overall I’m very impressed with this punchy little box!
Great little amp, my second for my garden speakers. V happy with it, great sound and more power than I will ever need.
Got it hooked up to an Alexa in my garage via an audio lead and is great.
Bluetooth works well, but not required as I use Amazon HD music with an Alexa.
So, for sound this is better than my Denon mini system which cost 3 times as much. What can I say, it’s hard to believe that a little box could deliver such sound but it does. Believe the hype for once and buy it!
One minor issue is that it sometimes cuts out when using Bluetooth on an iPad..works fine with my android phone though?
Great audio quality. Surprisingly powerful sound for such a small unit. Easy to use and feels well constructed. Recommended!
I put this through a pair of Q Acoustics 3020i’s and the sound is superb. Never used a bluetooth amp before but this delivers. Would genuinely recommend.
Purchased this to replace and aging Fatman itube amp. I have this connected to Tannoy Mercury F1 Custom bookshelf speakers and a Technics Record deck connected to the aux via a pre-amp. The sound to my ear is incredible for a 66 amp and far superior to my old amp which was 175.00 13 years ago! The unit itself is very compact not much larger than a mobile and the bluetooth connection is excellent plus reliable.
An amazing piece of kit for the price. Connected to my Q Acoustics 30W speakers and sounds great. Connected via Bluetooth from an iPhone SE and played from the music library. Ideal for a basic and simple set up where all you want to do is stream your music through hifi speakers as opposed to a tinny sounding Bluetooth speaker. Love it. Time remains to see if it has a long lifespan. Can’t go wrong I guess for 63.
pleasently suprised by the quality of sound, bluetooth is easy to connect too. May be small but packs a punch.
