I’ve been a fashion stylist and designer for over a decade, so far this is the best hand-held steamer I have ever owned. Quick to hear up and never spits water open first use. I love how the water tank can be easily replaced with a bigger water bottle for location shoots without a water source nearby. Perfect for travelling as well.

Firstly, I thought I had one of the infamous faulty models. I spent 20 minutes figuring how to turn it on as the instructions are incorrect! Do not press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, it won’t power on light will not come on, by complete fluke and after 15 minutes of reading and re reading the instructions I must have touched the power button very briefly and the light came on and it heat up quickly, this is all you need to do. I’ve used it a few times now and I have to say I’m very impressed certainly much better than the Tefal model which is on sale from JL and was returned the next day.
This works really well, I’m pleased with the size of the water reservoir and is a must for anyone who hates ironing. Was also brilliant on hanging curtains

Great little steamer. I own a bigger steamer and only bought this one to use it when I travel But it’s just so powerful and easy to use it’s become my main steamer. The continuous steam feature is great and the travel bottle adapter works surprisingly well, tried it with a few water bottles of different brands and sizes and worked with every single one. Also have to say their customer service is excellent as they got back to me really quick and were able to help me with some missing/faulty accessories.
As a man trying to iron ladies clothes(My wife has Parkinsons) this is a great life booster. She now gives me 9 out of 10 instead of 2 for completing ironing!. It is also much quicker than the iron. I will agree with one reviewer that if you are going to a dinner dance you may want to put a sharp crease on trousers or shirt but for day to day wear this the one for me. Have not tried on travels yet but the amount of times i have unpacked and found creased shirts and trouser i am sure this will very useful
I bought this item for travel purposes as it is light and compact versus other models on the market. The size of the reservoir is large compared to other models and this is a real plus point. It is very straightforward to use and gives the desired result.

It took me a very long time to decide on a handheld steamer and was going to buy a more well known brand but came across this one. I watched the you tube clip which convinced me to go with this one and i am so glad i did. It is a fantastic piece of kit. I am literally ironing from scratch with it it is so good. I am so very glad i ordered this model.
This does what it says on the package – it heats up quickly and steam-irons your clothes. It is fiddly to fill (from the bottom) and the cord is rather short, which makes sense if travelling and have to carry it. However, this it means that you have to steam your clothes near a power point, which may not be convenient, or ask the hotel for an extension lead. It is not as effective as a proper steam iron, but is a useful addition to maintaining your wardrobe, and certainly easier than lugging a steam iron around. It is well made and light and a lot of thought has evidently gone into it.
I found it easier to use with a heatproof mitt.
Unfortunately on only the second use the protective mesh part which prevents damage to delicate fabrics broke. It’s a pity because I mainly bought this product to smooth out delicate garments.
Update – when I contacted Fridja they replaced the faulty part quickly and with no fuss. Good customer service.
Amazing how good this steamer is, lightweight, easy to handle
Before buy this fridja steamer I tried another brand of garment steamer that was about a third the price but claimed to give good results when vertical steaming garments and had good reviews. What i found was that only the lightest fabrics where effectivly dewrinkled when steamed in an upright position and that it took alot of effort to achieve unsatisfactory results. Heavy fabrics proved a nightmare and had to be steamed on a flat surface for even mediocre results. It pretty much negated any benefit to using a handheld steamer as opposed to an iron for quick results.
So given that i had read many expert reviews that rated the fridja f10 highly I decided to give it a try. I am really glad i did as the difference between the two steamers was very noticable. The fridja f10 is lightweight, well designed and easy to use. It gives out a lot of steam which proves to give noticeably more powerful results- light weight & medium weight fabrics are easy to decrease with just a once over on a hanger. even heavy weight items are fairly straightforward a task. The only slight problem i had came with ironing very heavyly creased jeans that had been over dried in the dryer, but then a steamer is never meant to be a complete replacement for a iron and board. Having said that i definately think this fridja is as close to a replacement as you will get from a handheld steamer and is worth the high price if ease, time and portability are important to you. It is well designed and very effective, I would say definately worth the investment for travelling or if you ironing is something you do a lot of.
This is a great product! Im a stylist so I use it regularly on photoshoots its also easy to transport and travel with. I love the connector that you can just easily connect into a standard bottle of water!

The item received was easy to use. I bought an ex-demo which is slightly cheaper than the original price but it works pretty much well.
Bought the pink steamer on the morning of 20th Feb, delivered on the 21st (next day!)
At first I thought it was slightly heavy and it was taking a long time and that those two things might deter me from using it, but now I don’t feel anything and I didn’t buy the steamer to shorten ironing time (however it kind of does now that I’ve for the technique down).
I bought it for some wool and delicate tops and dresses that I wouldn’t dare iron. But this thing is so effortless that I’ve been steaming everything, t-shirts, killing bacteria on Thrifted purchases, steaming items to sell before taking pictures. My trench coat got wrinkled and I thought I’m not ironing this… But then i gladly recalled I have a steamer now!
Basically if I don’t have to go downstairs, bring out the iron and board and set them up before ironing one top because there’s a steamer in my room already? I’m down!
This size is good enough for 1-2 items of clothing.I bought this one first because portable is my first priority. Was going to buy the big one for more continuous steam time… But I have a jug of water in my room and I just refill when it goes down so I’m no sure I need a bigger one anymore, maybe if I have to do massive steaming jobs I might require the bigger capacity then.

A clothes steamer perfect for me to do curtains/bedding etc but, as others have said, don’t think it will replace your iron. What I love about the fridja is that it is so well thought out. No drips. Reaches optimum temperature in no time, comes with invaluable water bottle adaptor so less when you travel. The folding coat hanger, travel bag, European plug adaptor and collar press mean it has everything you need for any situation and is just very neat. I got it in the pink and I’m delighted with it!
Es ersetzt kein Bgeleisen, aber zum Auffrischen und als Reisebgeleisen sehr gut geeignet. Gut finde ich die Mglichkeit, auf Reisen anstatt des Wassertanks eine einfache Plastikflasche dranschrauben zu knnen, das spart Platz im Koffer!

This is my first handheld steamer. I bought it to take on holidays but I’m using it at home because its so easy to use, not to mention convenient! It has large water capacity and powderful steam. Its also very lightweight! I certainly love it!

I read the reviews on this steamer, and am pleased I decided to purchase it. Very easy to use, and not too heavy to pack in luggage (particularly with the clever adapter so that any small plastic bottle can be used for the water). I used it on a linen jacket and the results were amazing. Also, good for taking out creases in new curtains after hanging them.

We bought this steamer as we were travelling by air and train to a wedding and knew our clothes would be crumpled on arrival. We had been considering one before but couldn’t decide which one. The Good Housekeeping recommendation and good reviews persuaded us and we were not disappointed. Highly recommended.
