Bought this product as we have loads of stinging nettles and weeds which are coming through our fence from the farmers field with this product you can reach alot better rather than using just a normal sprayer as it has a long arm to spray with, definately recommend.

I can’t help but sing praises for this pressure sprayer—it’s exceeded my expectations in every way! I’ve relied on it for over a month now, primarily for rinsing my turf after my dog’s bathroom breaks, but I’ve discovered its versatility for various tasks. Not once has it leaked, which is a massive relief, and the pressure it delivers after a few pumps is fantastic. It’s become an invaluable tool for me, making chores like turf cleaning a breeze and tackling other outdoor tasks effortlessly. In short, it’s a reliable, user-friendly addition to my toolkit that I wouldn’t want to be without. Highly recommended!

A replacement for a very similar model that’s done great service over the years. Everything works well. Filling is easy and the pressure pump does a good job. Once up to pressure, this maintains a good spray pattern without the need to constantly top up the pressure. (Others I’ve used keep losing pressure. This doesn’t .) It’s also easy to release the pressure — by just pulling the pressure release — when you’ve finished spraying.

I’m very pleased with this pressure sprayer and am pleased to recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s true as someone said that the instructions are a bit opaque but it’s pretty obvious what’s going on with a few minutes thought. To remove the pump so as to fill the sprayer, the handle must be locked down and then used to unscrew it. Undoing the green collar (WRONG) as seems to be instinctive merely separates the pump from the handle.

The device itself is excellent. I sprayed 10 litres of masonry sealant with no difficulty, not even needing to adjust the nozzle. No air leaks, and only a couple of pump-ups per tankful.

Very easy to use, with the written instructions and instructions printed on the bottle, it is very easy to work it out. A good capacity and with the should strap, it makes the spraying process a lot easier!

Went to refill it and the pump handle has separated from the inner tube and won’t let me open the main container to refill

Will update/amend review once the company have given feedback.
30/6 have updated to four stars from one as customer service excellent and a replacement has been sent – can’t give five starts as not tested the replacement but highly recommend speaking to the seller if you have an issue as very helpful indeed.

A good price, and fast delivery. One screw connection on the spray nozzle, and it was ready to start the weed killing. Sturdy construction, and a few pumps completed a quarter of an acre easily. The 5 litre tank can cope with a lot of weed killing.

Took a while to work out how to use this as instructions werent so clear. Finally when i got it to work i liked it. Was easy to use after the inital pumping the air in. I used it for Wet n forget to spray the walls and its done its job. Sprays the product pretty even all over. U can adjust the preassure it sprays out the contents. Its not electric and can be a slow process. Hurts your fingers pulling the trigger all the time but on the plus it comes with a strap you can put over the sholder to take the weight of the 5litre vilume it can take. You also receive a number of extra washers that fit your sparayer so this is another plus. All in all its a product that is continuing to work for me after about 6 or 7 uses after purchesing. Fingers crossed it holds up for a few more anyways.

Works well on the couple of occasions I have used it. The wand could be a little longer. I’m 5′ 11″ and need to stoop a little to use it.

One very slight annoyance is that the shoulder strap sometimes presses on the pressure release valve and let’s some pressure out. Once you are aware of it, you just carry it in a different way but it would have been better if the strap attachment wasn’t directly next to the valve.

    Everything else works well.

If one can carry 5 litres of water in a container, then you should have the strength to pump to a sufficient pressure to operate the spray. This applies to all garden spraying equipment of this size. It works for me at 79 years young.

I have some kind of infestation in my hedges and this is So much easier than refilling a small spray bottle if you have a large area to cover with a fairy liquid solution. Once I’m done with that job I can see it will be far more comfortable to water hanging baskets etc. rather than lifting up watering cans. Just pump a few times and easily spray several pots/ baskets. Handy carrying strap and nozzle on quite a long tube makes for easier, directed spraying. It’s a thumbs up from me.

    My third garden sprayer.
Tried a Spear and Jackson; tried a “I’ve never heard of this brand” version. Neither survived more than a few uses. This one looks like a much better bet. The instructions are good and the parts, though plastic, seem sturdier than the others. The “spray time” for a dozen pumps is also better than the other two sprayers I’ve tried. Early days but so far, so good.

I got this sprayer for weedkilling and because it has a metal not plastic spray tube. this is my second sprayer in 5 years for weed killing I think the pump may have gotten damaged through the winter ? I also i one for spraying my car wheels which the plastic tube didnt like what I was using LOL .
this sprayer looks and works fine if I cold improve it in anyway is the spray arm would be longer or to have the choice to have a longer one as you can not stand up straight and spray close to the weeds you have to bend over or spray a bigger area .
    yes I would recommend

I think they’ve redesigned the top of the flask so it’s easier to fill, and you get a better seal. Past versions have had a sharp edge that can easily damage.

This really is good value. Hopefully the bottle won’t split like my other make bottle did. A handy set of washers and seals are included. The wand is rather short even for my average height. Good product for the price. The shoulder strap is a great asset. Spray pattern easy to set so ideal for setting on most and spraying plants to get rid of aphids.

This is a nice sprayer for what I need -to spray disinfectant around stables and the yard. The spray is fast and furious.

Downsides -not much calibration on spray speed -which, as I said, is good for what I want, and probably good for spraying large areas for weed control.

If you are wanting to spray delicate plants then I would suggest looking elsewhere, as this spray would probably damage your seedlings and some foilage.

Clear instructions, easy to use out of the box. Have so far used for moss killer and wet-and-forget on the house roof, driveway and patio, saved loads of time…and product!
Larger capacity (8 litre) was great for limiting ladder climbs but of course quite heavy when full so may want to consider 5 litre version if just pottering around and can easily refiil.

This sprayer is much, much better than my original one. It’s lighter, easy to fill and the best feature of all is it’s spraying capability. You can spray as normal by holding down the lever and stop and start when you want or you can clip the lever into place and get an ongoing amount of spray coming out – great when you have large areas to cover! This is a really good buy and good to know the seller responds quickly

I dont ever write reviews but…. after spending nearly half hr morning and night with a basic hand sprayer which killed my wrist i decided to invest in this. I have a tree feature with air plants and i just seemed to spend too much time spraying so i bought this and jeez does it save time. Not only save time but just puts the water where its needed with the wand. I know this is basic stuff but anything to make life easy needs to be shared. Feels like a good purchase and cant really give it a negative. Im pretty sure ill be over watering as its addictive and i would recommend. P.s unscrew the whole middle bit to put water in if your a man like me and dont read instructions.

    So much time saved.

All as expected for a garden sprayer, it even came with a pack of various spare seals and gaskets, very handy.
Works a treat with no leakage.
With the above mentioned spares, there’s no reason it shouldn’t give good service but it is too early to tell yet.
One gripe is that the wand could be a bit longer, for comfort and to minimize the possibility of spray drift when using herbicides.
Apart from that very pleased with this product and I would say good value for money.

Have used the sprayer just once so far to spray weedkiller over the entire lawn. Was easy to use, though the parcel arrived with some extra bits that are probably spares, but the instructions didn’t mention them so initially I was a bit confused. Doesn’t feel like the most robust item in the world but it’s working well enough for now. I did need to stop regularly in order to resume air back into the unit, which was OK. Might be the same for all of these sorts of items, never used any others before. Will see how long the item lasts but at the moment I don’t regret the purchase at all.

It’s delivered as you would use it. No assembly required. Just fill it up and pump yourself silly. Safety release valve lets you know if you’ve overdone it. Then just squirt all over whatever you want. I use mine on my first floor windows.

This sprayer is easy to use and to assemble. It is quite solid and the 5 litre capacity is good for most jobs in the garden. I used mine to spray black spot preventer on my driveway and it was prefect for this task. Personally I would have liked the spray handle to be a bit longer and more like that of a different make I had previously as, being quite tall, it would have meant less bending. Nevertheless a good purchase and would buy again if required.

I like it for watering seedlings in the greenhouse or similar place, very easy to swamp them otherwise. A greenhouse is the Ritz for insects, etc in the winter.

We used it to spray the decking. It is generally easy to use but I found that the flow on button sometimes clicked on and I was unable to turn it off. Spray nozzle can be a bit fidgety. I ended up with a lot of varnish on me!

But worked well and decking looks a lot better.

Easy to setup and use. The pack of spare parts is a nice touch. The only minus point is that there is no way to clip the wand to the tank when not in use, so it is tricky to store away (so 4, not 5 stars). In use it works well and gives a good spray for 10 or so strokes of the pump.

  62. Peter Guy says:

Received the product and as suggested used water the first time to spray. Product generally seems well made for the price point. Strongly suggest when pumping up the pressure you are on a soft even surface, in order not to damage the bottom. Also as the pump arm is plastic use gently even pressure and do not try to get more pumps in than necessary, there is a realise valve, but doesn’t indicate when maximum pressure has been met.

The spray lance works well, good even spray spread and one only need to pump again one half way through the 5 litre test with water. With care the unit should last, but suggest a little bit of TLC especially given the pump arm could be fragile overtime.

Got this to replace my aged & broken Hozelock sprayer that had died & i couldn’t get parts to fit. Arrived very quickly and well packaged with no excess packaging….The instructions are a bit of a joke translation wise and are mostly pictures but if you have used this type of sprayer you will know that doesn’t matter, the only bit to assemble was to put the metal part of the spray lance onto the trigger-easy as pie. My only concern is the plastic pipe is not see through and seems a little flimsy but time will tell and i will keep the one off my old sprayer. Filling is easy with clear measurements on the side. Easy to pump and spray lasts for ages before having to re-pump. A huge advantage that i only found when using it is this being 5 Ltrs = 5Kg when full so easy to walk about with and 5 Ltrs of weedkiller is loads….You can spray until the tank is empty too unlike some more expensive ones that always have some residual product in it…..More efficient and makes it easier to rinse out too(a must at the end of use) Very happy with it.

Great sprayer, once I figured out how to add the water, being a man I dived straight in trying to fill it, very slowly I may add.
Then decided to read the instructions, where I realised the handle is used to loosen and tighten the lid, great retaining feature on the handle when doing this.
The only downside for me, was the short strap which I feel isn’t quite long enough to pump the pressure into the sprayer comfortably enough.

I definitely recommend this product. Only negative is when assembling, the pump part came away from the lid part – there’s a kind of adhesive there which isn’t as strong. Doesn’t affect the use as it all screws onto the container itself and is airtight. It’s only a problem when you unscrew the lid to fill the container up. Didn’t bother me that much but it confused me for a few minutes! The instructions make no mention of this as a possible thing that can happen when trying to fill it.

Easy to use, pretty much straight out of the box. Obviously heavy when full, ok for me but not my wife. Only criticism is that the pressure isn’t as strong as one I borrowed from the in-laws but good enough.

Lovely little sprayer, a little disappointed on the pressure of it but it’s a fairly cheap product. It’s definitely worth buying if you do a lot of gardening etc. But if you want a high pressure, this wouldn’t be suitable

Very impressed so far with this sprayer, build quality and design so much better than previous ones i have used (Wilkos and Black&Decker), no leaks straight from the box, the washers and ‘0’ rings don’t look and feel cheap so should last and your also get a spare set! and the metal wand should make it more durable too, the handle and trigger unit always seem to be a weak spot on all these types of sprayers so time will tell if this will last longer than a 12 months! But initially highly recommended.

My back garden is 270 sq m, with 130 sq m lawn and 90 sq m of paved patio & path to the bird feeders. The lawn has many areas of moss, and the pave-stones are covered by black lichen with also green moss between them. Applying treatment products with a watering can and fine rose is a waste of time because the water flows too fast to control. I needed a sprayer. The pave-stone cleaning product requires 1L plus 4L water. I chose the Ansio 5L garden sprayer. It is strongly built and the 12cm x 2cm pump handle make it easy to use. I applied each 1L of spray + pumping in 4 mins, so that 5L took 20 mins. I sprayed all the paving (3x 5L) and moss killer (5L) in about 1hr 30 min.
My son is calling round next week to borrow my new kit for his back garden!

Arrived in a box, undamaged. Very little to do to make it work – check joints for tightness, add sprayer lance and tighten, fill with water, check it sprays and is adjustable. It does and is. The trigger is indeed lockable in place – which makes it better than my latest hozelock one. There isn’t a clip to hold the lance in place for storage which is a slight shame – however there’s never a way to store the tubing that doesn’t involve a lot of loud words so not much loss really. Of course if it explodes in the night, I will add to this review. At this stage I am hopeful.

Bought the 5lt version of this pressure sprayer to spray the white painted rendering of my external walls with white vinegar in an effort to get rid of the green mould that had built up over the years. The sprayer performed brilliantly and I was impressed that something so inexpensive can perform so well. I’m sure I’ll find many more uses for it and it may even replace my watering can, after removing any traces of the white vinegar of course!
Tip for people with the same problem:
Using white vinegar to get rid of green mould works in part, you just spray it on the mould and wait for it to disappear (about a day or two). In my case, however, it left a grey coloured residue, which I eventually removed using a long handle stiff brush and a bucket of water with a splash of cheap household bleach added (a tip courtesy of a decorating friend of mine). Worked brilliantly! I now have nice white walls again.

This is a pretty good sprayer and did the job I bought it for – which was to spay 50/50 diluted Sodium Hydrochloride onto my drive to clear black spots…..However:

…..when I went to re-use this 3 weeks later the wand part of the the sprayer had rusted and holes had appeared meaning when I sprayed again it went out sideways through the holes and ruined my jeans.

This does say it is for garden chemicals, but maybe I went a bit too far with what I wanted it for – so be careful if you want to use it for the same purpose as me

I was a little anxious about using this properly with a moss killer, fearing spills on myself due to too much pressure, not having the sprayer away from me, or just not being able to use it safely. But I needn’t have worried, taking a few moments to read the instructions it’s very straightforward and I was very pleased with it’s ease of use and performance. I used it with Spray and Leave and had never used either before. I did use protective eye goggles and a mask which I would say is necessary, because even with a light breeze the fine spray will get blown in the direction of your face at some time during use. Very happy with the results of this sprayer and the moss killer.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery pleased with this pressure sprayer. I purchased this to use with citrus pre-washes for my car. It has a large tank that is easy to fill. Builds up the pressure through pumping easily, sprays and distributes well. I like the lockable trigger option for a continuous jet and adjustable nozzle to vary the flow. The shoulder strap and pump handle make it easy to carry around. Overall, it’s an excellent sprayer, precisely what I needed—impressed that it comes with spare replacement washers. I will be purchasing another one to use to spray weeds.

    Fantastic produc

Pressure sprayers seem hit and miss when it comes to reviews, but I thought I’d try this as it was pretty cheap. The plan was to use it for spraying moss killer on a patio after a brush and bucket turned out to be a pain in the neck.

Putting it together wasn’t quite as simple as if hoped. Initially, I had a big air leak at the top, and rammed a spare washer on the plunger, thinking that was the problem. No help at all. Then I realised it was something to do with the plunger needing screwed tighter and that worked. Also, the nozzle is very hard to adjust, eventually going from pathetic to too straight and powerful. I’ve now managed to find an unhappy medium, but it could be better.

Once you’ve added and mixed your liquid and pumped the handle, it sprays alright for a minute or so, then you need to pump some more. And so on. It’s not actually a problem, as it’s still preferable to using a brush, particularly on walls.

Bottom line – it’s cheap, fiddly to operate, but it does make applying fungicide or whatever easier, so worth a try. Just manage your expectations, or pay a lot more for maybe not much better.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFor the price compared to a mud daddy or the hose lock this is brilliant. We put hot tap water in it go for a 1.5hr walk and it’s still warm. 5l is enough for a dog.

    Excellent value for money

I use this with bulk bought degreaser to clean washing machines which is very good and the rod/trigger is long enough to get into the deepest soap drawer boxes before they are scrubbed and washed out, before we used to buy cheap kitchen cleaner from the pound shops but now we are saving money and plastic by mixing up 5 litres of cleaner in one large container which has an adjustable nozzle to control the amount sprayed out, in short this was a very smart buy for us.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersEasy enough to put together. It’s all packed together, and comes with some spare o-rings, and clear instruction to which part each spar o-ring belongs to. Nozzle is simple, twist the end to turn from a direct spray to a fine mist, just don’t over tighten, as always! Simple press and hold to spray. That’s the most fun part of the whole thing.
It’s pump is strong and effective. With literally 5 pumps, I was able to spray my entire front garden, albeit small, it’s still surprising how far the five pumps went. Almost a litre in liquid I measured. I was shocked. The pump action itself was easy, with a simple twist it in to safety mode, for the ambidextrous user alike (twist both ways) (duh)
It has a nice twistable pump, with smooth but tight fittings. If I had one grumble, what you’re pouring in to feels slim, however, it maintains that seal.
It has a pressure release valve that is simple, and I’ve tried it at all pressures, it’s a simple lift. Scared the crap out of my cat on the first pressure release, but hey ho, didn’t see him there. It’s fine now, cost me an additional half a dinner.
All in all, it does what I need it to do, and that is to effectively coat my bloody weeds with killer, and it’s mist function does it beautifully.

This was delivered in its original packaging when unpacked it was easy to assemble and also the instructions were simple to understand also enclosed were a complete set of O rings so will be useful for any maintenance needed.
After a few pumps of the handle pressure was achieved and the spray worked with plenty of adjustment on the nozzle.
The spray lasted some time before needing to be repumped I would say out of all the garden sprayers I have had over the years this is one of the best also the filler is like a funnel so when adding chemicals there is no spilling makes life easier very happy with purchase.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI wanted to spread home-made, white vinegar based, weed killer across a 100+ square metre area. This sprayer was excellent – reduced the time and effort required, and increased the effectiveness of the weed killer compared to using a watering can. It is very well designed; easy to fill because of the built in bowl shaped intake; easy to re-pressurise using the pump facility as the content is used up; has a built in pressure release if you pump it up too much; and the nozzle can be loosened or tightened to control the spread width or even focus a stream on a particular small patch. Two aspects could be improved – the shoulder strap is not very comfortable, and a longer wand would save the user from bending as much. However, this is a great product that I would happily recommend to others.

Golden Review Award: 149 From Our UsersI brought this for myself and my mum to use as we both have blocked paving and well all know now weeds love it !!
I’m in a wheelchair as I had my leg amputated last year and before the lockdown I was meant to pick my leg up ! ( I know sounds bizarre) And my mum is 81 and has really bad arthritis in her fingers so any of the normal weed killers have the spray action which you have to squeeze and if you buy the large ones they are heavy….
So with this having a strap it’s easy on both of us as I can strap it to my wheelchair and because it is so easy to use…. Don’t faint everybody my two teenage boys do my mums…. Yes you read it right TWO LADS actually did something !!
Even though I do my mums who will still be using it herself, because she just can’t help herself.
Easy to set up…. Easy to use…Different types of sprays. But I souly purchased this for killing weeds so obviously I will not be using it for anything else.
Excellent product…. Manufactured well…. And great value for money…. Nicole

Came a day earlier than expected, packaged very well.
Seems good quality and very sturdy. Used to spray weed, moss and algae killer and also to apart cleaning products onto cars and it did a really good job the adjuster on the end of wand is tight to turn but this should free up over time, I’d rather this than it loose and flimsy.
Time will tell as to how long this will last but seems alot better quality than the last one I had which was 5 cheaper which split and only last 3 months. I decided to spend abit extra and get something good quality and so far I am so happy I did as it seems like a good quality product.
4/5 overall bit if it last me more than 6months it’s a 5 no problem.
    You will not be disappointed.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersI found this Garden/Water Pump Sprayer great to use. It is easy to assemble and much better than previous other sprayers I have used in the past. The end of the sprayer nozzle can be tuned for either a fine mist spray or a straight jet spray.
I recently lime rendered and plastered my chimney breast and fireplace opening for a wood burning stove and I used this spray to keep the lime damp for several weeks while the lime was curing. It was perfect for my project. I would recommend this sprayer as it seems good quality. I don’t know how long it would last if it was used constantly for months as I only bought it for my lime plastering. Overall very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis unit is excellent value for money – but a couple of points mean that it only gets 4 stars from me. First, one of the strap lugs is in line with the pressure relief valve which can (and did) result in the strap releasing some of the pressure due to its proximity – this occurred when lifting the unit up by the strap. Secondly, at 6’2″ I found the lance to be too short and I had to stoop to operate it effectively. This unit holds the pressure well and is nicely constructed. Sort out the strap (lug) location and include a telescopic lance and you are sorted!

Golden Review Award: 76 From Our UsersHave used the sprayer for fungicide on my patio…easy to operate, and I like the metal lance, which is more sturdy than the usual plastic ones. All in all a solid made unit, which I am sure will last for years ! It would be helpful if a note was in the instructions advising that the packet of ” O ” rings & washers enclosed with the washers are spares, as I was not sure if I had to fit them before operation.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersExcellent quality and great value for the price. Easy to assemble and worked first time for weed spraying with none of the issues I had with a previous and more expensive sprayer (leaking valve and lance, loss of pressure). This one has a metal lance and spare plastic rings as an added bonus. Sturdy but light. Good instruction leaflet too. I expect the sprayer to last a good while and strongly recommend. I hope it continues to be available as I would happily purchase again.

Golden Review Award: 39 From Our UsersAlthough a little dubious initially when I ordered this item as it did not have many reviews, any doubts were immediately dispelled when I opened the item.

We wanted a pressure sprayer predominately for washing the caravan whilst on site but we are so impressed with the product that we will keep it at home for rinsing the car down rather than getting the hose pipe out!

The product itself is extremely robust and although we have only used it a couple of times, have no doubt that we will not have any quality issues in the future.

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersArrived earlier than expected, this sprayer is really well made, it looks good and it is good, easy to handle, accurate spraying, air pressure easily achieved when pumping and because of its accuracy it didn’t take as much weed killer-which is an added bonus, I’m really pleased with it and would definitely recommend
