I used this body lotion in the past and was very happy so I have decided to repurchase it. It’s not the best lotion around, but it’s excellent value for money. I have quite a dry skin and this will help but I need to reapply during the day, especially on legs and arms.
It’s not for darker and dryer skin. In winter I prefer to use body butter.
In Summer this is Ok
Have used this product for a few years now and wouldn’t be without it – not too thick and you can dress straight away – anyone who has bumps on back of arms or bumpy skin this will so
This Gatineau lotion is light, easily absorbed, moisturising and has a delightful delicate perfume. My most favourite body lotion having used for several years and always return to.
This is the best body lotion I have ever used. The duo pack is fabulous value. It’s a light textured lotion with hardly any scent but is extremely effective on dealing with dry skin. The pump action bottles are ideal. I have tried many different lotions but never found one more effective than this.
Been using this product for a few years now. Really helps with rough, bumpy skin on upper arms and thighs.

When I first see the consistency of the product I was disappointed and wondered how effective it was going to be. But this is definitely a case of not judging but first impressions it leaves my skin silky smooth and lasts. My go to moisturise
One of my favorite skin products and the AHAs helps to exfoliate the dead skin during the summer and winter. Great value for a two pack.

I liked the lotion a lot. But I request the makers to make it fragrance free. Please please. Not good for my sensitive skin.

Gatineau body lotion is wonderful, non greasy, and smells lovely. I have used for many years and both my daughters also use it. Would not use anything else.
Gorgeous body lotion with a delicate fragrance. It is a fairly runny texture but it soaks in quickly and easily to leave my skin super smooth. A little goes a long way and wouldn’t want to be without it. I absolutely love it and Amazon offer an amazing price for this duo pack. (It is way cheaper than direct from Gatineau)
Ive been using this lotion for years! I have other brands but this is my favourite. It contains AHAs which speed up cell turnover and get rid of dead skin really quickly. Its particularly good for use on the feet to get rid of dry skin. Its lovely and silky and makes skin feel the same. The fragrance in my opinion is amazing – like an expensive French perfume and it does linger for quite a while. One word of warning though – because it contains AHAs its very important not to sit in the sun after applying this lotion. Or if you do then apply SPF after using it.
I have been using this product for over fifteen years. I am a self-confessed hand cream junkie. I keep, at any one time, a selection of around 8 hand creams from as many different manufacturers including (but not limited to ) Elemis, Alpha-H, DECIEM and OPI. Whilst this is a product that has been around for a while the current formulation includes Vitamin A (the body converts vitamin A to Retinol), vitamin C and vitamin E. For me, as this cream is not the lightest weight, I prefer to use the Gatineau VitaminA overnight. and leave the day time shift to the lighter Elemis and DECIEM products. The fragrance is vintage Gatineau and has, over the years, been refined ever so slightly. The fragrance, whilst fairly prominent, in no way over powers and always reminds me of a bouquet of white flowers (I have never seen that this is what the fragrance is… it just seems that way to me). I really like this hand cream and, in this configuration, represents fantastic value for money. Highly recommended so go give it a try.!

This is a great body moisturizer, but, the smell is old fashioned and really very strong. However, it is still the best on the market.
I think these are good value. The lotion glides onto my skin and is easily absorbed.

The Gatineau A.H.A. body lotion duo is a twin pack of good quality / reasonably high end body lotion.
The lotion comes in a very handy pump dispensing bottle which helps to minimise you getting too much out of the bottle at once and wasting it. This is particularly useful when you have such a luxurious body lotion, where a little goes a long way and you want it to last as long as possible! The formula itself is quite runny; in fact it’s called a “body milk” which certainly describes the consistency well. However, it doesn’t leave the skin feeling too oily like some runnier lotions can do. It soaked into my wife’s skin almost straight away and left it feeling silky and smooth.
All in all this is a reasonably luxurious product, it moisturises beautifully, and ticks all the required boxes for a high end good quality moisturiser.
These are really big bottles at 400 mls each so will certainly go a long way which is great. Unlike many others the packaging is really clean & simple with just the name and logo on the front with some minimal info in different languages on the back.
This is a pump action bottle and as with most it has a locking mechanism to prevent spillage – it can take a bit of figuring out with some of these to get them unlocked but Gatineau have thoughtfully put arrows on the top of the pump to help, however, I found it much easier to close than to open – you just have to remember to be careful to not push down while trying to do so.
This is a lotion not a cream so be aware that it will be perhaps thinner than some others. It has a lovely non-greasy feel to it and is absorbed very speedily. The scent is lovely (IMO) – a floral mix presumably since the manufacturers info gives no hints as to what it is. but very pleasant and lingers for at least 2-3 hours depending on circumstances.
So far in the 3-4 weeks I’ve been using it, I’ve seen noticeable differences in my hands in particular. I have severe hand arthritis which in turn seems to cause areas where the skin dries out & bleeds over a joint in particular. I’d normally be dealing with such problems at least on a weekly basis but as yet this month haven’t had even one area of breakout despite how red the skin has gotten over a joint. So that’s a good enough indicator for me that it’s working!
It is fairly expensive but you get what you pay for usually and I’d buy it again if it keeps on working this well.
These are two really big bottles and the product absorbs well. The scent is really familiar but I just can’t put my finger on it.
I use this on my body face and hands and it leaves me feeling good.and soft. It is however not a 24 hour product…my skin has got drier since turning 40 so i need to use this maybe morning and night. It absrobs well and quickly enough to go under make up.
This is good body lotion – fairly thin, but easy to apply and with a floral scent – which is quite strong. I had a bit of trouble unlocking the pump action, but if you look closely there are arrows that show you the open and close direction. Once you get it sorted it is straight forward with just a quarter turn to lock it off. They are large bottles and a little goes a long way. At the moment the price seems high, which may limit the appeal.
I found this body lotion duo quite pricey for me;38.86 for 2 bottles.The bottles are big;400ml each,and you don’t need to use much,so they’ll last a while,but I don’t think I’ll get them again because of the price and the strong smell,which I don’t particularly like.The lotion is easy to apply with a pump action,it isn’t greasy and sinks in well,and it left my skin feeling nice and soft,but it’s not worth paying all that to go round with a scent on your hands that you don’t really love.
Although I’m a member of the Vine programme, this was a personal purchase.

My wife is very impressed with Gatineau AHA Body Lotion, which she has been using for about a week. She says the well-sized, stable, pump action bottle makes dispensing exactly the right amount of lotion very easy.
The lotion itself is non-greasy, easy to apply and very quickly absorbed. It leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth; something I can vouch for!

It feels more of a lotion than a cream in an easy to use pump action bottle. A little goes a reasonably long way but it does absorb quickly into the skin so I’ve ended up using more than with other lotions.
It’s non-greasy, smells quite nice & leaves my skin looking well nourished for hours after one use.
I haven’t noticed a change in texture to my skin or any improvement in firmness etc but I’ll definitely keep using this in the hope that longer term usage wields miracles!
I think it’s expensive for a body lotion & that’s quite a negative for me. But the positives are very strong.
I’ve even used it on my heels & it’s absorbed quickly with lovely results.
Jury’s out as to whether it’s a recommend or not due to the price but I’m seriously considering it.
I really like this product, the first time I’ve tried anything by this brand. It’s quite a runny lotion which is good because it soaks in quickly, and it does leave skin feeling nice. I’ve docked a star because the smell (which is lovely, slightly rosy) fades away super quickly, and I like a body lotion smell to linger. A real shame. But otherwise, as long as you don’t need a deep moisturiser, this is a nice light lotion for everyday use. Bit pricey though.
This will indulge your skin, high-quality body lotion that has a pleasant floral fragrance that lingers for a while after use. It absorbs quickly and the skin feels nourished (soft). It is easy to dispense the lotion because unlike many lotions, it uses the Pump Mechanism commonly used in Hand Lotion bottles.
The scent is lightly but slightly sharply floral. My mother reckons it smells how the original oil of Olay lotion smelled (back when it was still “Ulay”). If you like feminine floral scents this will probably be for you, although the scent fades relatively quickly.
I can’t believe how immediately different my skin feels.
Really great body lotion, that leaves your skin feeling super smooth and hydrated. Perfect for the harsh cold weather that we are currently having. The great thing about the lotion is its consistency. It has a watery texture which means the skin absorbs it that much quicker, which is really good. Both bottles are quite large too, so they should last a good while.
I have used Gatineau products before, and can vouch for their high quality. This body lotion has a delicate,but lasting fragrance of passion fruit. It absorbs well into the skin, without having to use much, and leaves no greasy residual feel. It is by no means a cheap product, but at the risk of repeating myself, the lotion has a high quality threshold. Recommended.
