Be aware ; after unpacking the very well packed machine and BEFORE connecting to the mains supply, you MUST find on the underside TWO black thick plastic CABLE TIES and cut to REMOVE both of them.
They do the same job as transit bars on a new automatic washing machine.
Following the user guidelines to connect the pipes and set flow rate and oxygen levels is easy.
It operates on the pulse system so if you set the air flow to max the oxygen concentration is 40% as indicated on the display. If the air flow is set at minimum then the oxygen concentration is 90% as indicated on the display.
My personal use requires around 65% oxygen concentration which is medium air flow produces blood oxygen level of 96% from my usual unassisted level of 85%.
But everyone is different and I am not a doctor. You just have to be very careful not to take high levels it can be
dangerous.
Finally it is not silent in operation because of the internal compressors needed to make it all work, but it’s not really loud either.
I don’t regret my purchase at all.
First of all, this unit is very compact and although not the quietest on the market, its capacity and usability more than makes up for it!
I’ve tried sleeping with thus running and although noticeable, it is not as noisy as some reviews would lead you to believe. It is more than easy to fall asleep near it!
The remote control make it very easy to control as well as the touch-screen controller which gives a very informative display and is easy to understand as well as reasonably large digital display so you don’t have to get up close to read it.
Out and about, the cigarette lighter adaptor is handy and means that you can become mobile again.
Overall, I am looking forward to long term use of this unit and the many benefits it brings.
They recommended an oxygen concentrator to help prevent migraines and headaches, and we decided to buy an oxygen concentrator. I think it is necessary to allocate a budget of 300-400 pounds for such a machine.
The machine is easy to set up right out of the box, some simple instructions are included. But to make it easier, you can watch it online. I searched the internet to look for o2 concentrations at different flow rates. Because I want to do everything correctly and safely.
It’s great that it has a digital display so you can always see all the adjustments you’ve made. You can see any progress on the digital screen. There are many adjustable modes and keys on the same screen as the digital display.
I can say that it is of good quality. It’s not too heavy. It will be very easy to carry or push. That’s why I can say it is very comfortable and useful. I can understand its quality from the material and design of the product. Everything has been worked on and wonderfully designed. The water tank is made of suitable plastic and feels solid. It is easy to remove and replace.
The tubes that come with it are enough, but if you want more, I think you can buy it. Since the product is brand new, it has a new smell in new tubes. If this bothers you, it will be enough to wash it once with hot water.
The machine is not too noisy. I think these machines have a noise problem, but it didn’t bother me. I can watch TV comfortably.
Overall, it does what it says and has helped relieve my headaches, so I’m happy with it.
If you are purchasing one without medical supervision, be sure to read the NHS recommendations for home oxygen therapy. Because it is possible to get very sick from the use of oxygen and is also a fire hazard. That’s why I suggest you pay attention and buy consciously.
Just arrived, before due date, but I have not had a chance to use it never mind review it. Ask again in about 2 weeks. Always the reviews are asked for too soon. I assume with remote control it will be easily managed, and German makes are always superior, so I’m hoping for a lot.
