Got the tap today, haven’t installed yet as the description of the product is not accurate. It’s polished, rather than brushed as described. Interestingly, some other hansgrohe kitchen taps are noted as “shiny” on Amazon. To me this is “shiny”, and brushed is equivalent to matt. Haven’t decided yet whether to return it or not, but the product didn’t meet expectations upon unboxing.
Update. I changed the rating from 2 to 4 stars assuming it’s still a good quality product and the discount off MSRP is good, but the product itself is en route back to Amazon. I ordered a different model from stainless steel (Talis M54) hoping it won’t be “shiny” as described but proper brushed steel.

4.0 out of 5 stars It’s polished, not brushed as per descriptio

I’m sick to death of buying rubbish taps from B&Q, they all end up dripping and are an absolute nightmare to change the cartridge.

So THIS TIME I spent a bit more on a quality German tap, and so glad I did. VERY easy to fit, functions perfectly. You WILL need to buy a pair of compression thread adapters. Zero fuss, straightforward job for a non-plumber.

By far the best tap I have owned, a bit pricey but that’s fine if the quality is there. solid, functional, not just pretty, easy to clean. Water does not splash all over the place on landing in the sink.
Considering how often the tap is used daily, well worth it.

Respekt, Hansgrohe.

This tap was a direct replacement for a similar Grohe tap so it fitted perfectly. The new style of fitting under the sink with a screwed flange and nipping screw was much easie

Lovely looking tap but according to the kitchen fitter, it turned out to be too sophisticated for my pretty ordinary kitchen sink so had to be returned and something simpler bought in its place.

Great kitchen tap tall enough to put a bucket underneath it. Don’t forget to buy reducers 2 of Pipe Connection Reduction Fittings Chrome Female x Male 1/2″ x 3/8″ and Flat Washers for the reducers to connect to ball valves.

Oh my God we just love this tap. It arrived promptly. Our kitchen tap cracked during lockdown. I saw this tap and ordered it. We fitted it without a plumber, it was straightforward. Thank you

Its one of the few ones I’ve found that has a pull out sprayer that don’t look like a garden hose on a spring. Who likes that? At least in the UK there seems to be few of this style. You can find them everywhere in the US and other locations.

COMPRESSION ADAPTER MAY BE REQUIRED. The tap fixing can go into a deep work top however making the hole will require a special hole saw. Fits to my sink easily but had to make the main hole bigger. The flexie feed pipes do not unscrew and perhaps held in by means of a clip release. So you can’t change them. All is well made and the valve is made in Germany. To any diy person make sure your stop check valves work and be aware they can leek after being used. Did happen once. You need the stopcock access then. Check these before starting any work.
The design is for ease of use and a sensible one. Therefore I like it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe created a laundry room where my wife has a installed a sink. Problem with worktops these days are that the tap hole on the counter is generally set a certain distance from the back wall, and taps with long spouts generally have the handle go back and forth which is where the problem arises. Because when you pull the lever back, it would hit the wall and you do not get full flow of the hot water and end up with lukewarm water.

This is where this tap comes with the advantage that the lever only moves forward. Starts and cold and gets hot the more it it’s pulled towards you. Makes all the difference.

Beyond that, the tap is beautifully designed and the pull out spout is beneficial in many ways. Price wise, you are paying for the brand and not the product!!!!

The top looks as if it’s beautifully made, I like the styling except the way that the upright tap arch fits inside the main mechanism. I could see it being a dirttrap and it’s also slightly unattractive.
On reflection I thought it wasn’t worth the cost.

It is elegant, really easy to fill under the spout. The smaller kids especially find it easy to get drinks under it.

As with all HansGrohe taps (we have two in the kitchen and one in a bathroom), it’s a quality product with great attention to detail in manufacture. You’re probably paying a little bit extra for the quality of the fittings under the sink…which make it a dream to fit.
I am not an expert plumber but I’ve fitted each HansGrohe tap in less than 30 minutes including tidying up after myself..the fittings make it so easy.

If you like the look of it, buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

We are so very pleased with this purchase. We were dubious about spending so much and not seeing/feeling the quality but now our kitchen is completed and the tap is in, it compliments our kitchen. Everything about this tap feels quality, we are very, very impressed.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersLooks really sturdy which they are too, great price 110 and look fantastic from the Amazon Warehouse department, saved a third of the rrp.
Not too bad to install but to a novice like me it took me longer than I thought about an hour or so.
But you do need the adaptors valves which adapts them from the German12mm to the UK 15mm pipes, so make sure you buy them before hand, I used the Handsgrohe 8 ones but I’m sure that the cheaper ones for half the price will do.
Very happy with the quality and looks.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThank you Amazon for supplying this tap at an affordable price – just! I agonised long and hard before ordering for 3 reasons. First the cost is high considering I don’t have a designer kitchen and it was to be fitted to a 25 year old stainless steel sink, second, the single lever is on the right and I am left handed and third, is that spray just a gimmick? I am thrilled to report that this tap is worth every penny! I wash up by hand and this tap makes the job so much easier with the spray set to aerate for the prewash rinse, this setting also produces a massive amount of bubbles from the washing up liquid, I use less than half. Though some reviewers said the tap could be the installed with the lever on the left my plumber installed it on the right because that allows a 150 degree swivel which I need for a 11/2 bowl sink. It is no problem because the tap sits so high there is no obstruction to reaching across and you can see the red/blue gauge for water temperature. It runs off a combi boiler and the pressure is fine. Whilst it was bought for practical reasons it is solid and the quality is evident so it doesn’t half smarten up the kitchen! It’ll be Hansgrohe for me from now on.

Did some research. Opted for this to go with a Bianco sink. I couldn’t be more pleased and the family love it. We had to mount it with the handle to the front due to space issues but I actually prefer it that way and suits right and left handers equally. So bonus..!

Golden Review Award: 51 From Our UsersLovely looking taps, easy to set up, but in the uk, you may need to buy a buy some little connectors to convert the supplied 12mm tails to fit onto uk 15mm fittings. Search for … CIENCIA Top Quality Brass Finish Connector Solid Brass Connector SBA025A (you’ll need to order 2, one each for each tail).
I tried Screwfix first, but they didn’t have this type of connector. I was surprised how difficult it was to find this connector so decided to share, hope it helps other buyers.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Users5 Stars for the product and delivery, one start off for lack of information in regards to G3/8 to 15mm reduction required to fit EU tap to UK pipes. Either way, you would have to get a plumber or reschedule the installation after you’ve got the bits which add delay and overall frustration.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove this tap.. like others have said I never knew I needed a spray until I got this one. Neither the full flow nor spray splash everywhere. The water flows at a good rate and is very directional. The tap has a very solid feel and is chunky enough to look good in my new gloss white modern kitchen but isn’t too big for me. My only question related to it wobbling slightly and there isn’t any additional part you can buy to fix it more firmly but the advice from customer services is to make sure the gripper that comes with it is tightened sufficiently. Hopefully that will do the trick but it still doesn’t stop me giving it 5 stars

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersA nice tap, but has restricted our flow quite a bit compared to what was there before so only 4 stars. I’ve left out the part described as a “filter” too. But it works well other than that.
The toggle between smooth flow and spray stays in one place or the other while it’s running only. Every time you turn it on it’s the smooth flow, you then have to change it to spray. Also, upright tap position is hot, 90 degrees towards you is cold which may clash with what you have put in the sink depending on your set up.

Having lived with this tap for a month, I can’t speak highly enough of it. I guess the fact my sister bought one identical too tells its own story. It gets water stained easily, though that’s wiped off. That’s the only fault. The multi-stream feature, and the pull-out-and-wangle-it-around feature, utterly brilliant.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersThe best tap I have ever come across. It looks good, has a superbly smooth operation and I love the pull out facility and the two different way of the water flow, a normal one and, a most useful, spraying one. Every time I use this tap, it gives me pleasure, and that’s saying a lot about a tap!!
It’s easy to clean things without making a mess since it is possible to use the pull out function to go lower into the sink Highly recommend this product!!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersJust had this fitted in my new kitchen. Chose this make after reading lots of good reviews. I like the simple style, it has a lovely smooth movement and looks good quality. Easy to wipe over and keep shiny. Seems even better than the Grohe tap I have in my bathroom which takes more buffing to remove water marks.

This is a very sturdy tap and the look of it really suits my new kitchen. The spray function is very easy to operate, and the tap is high enough that I can easily put tall vessels beneath it, although the pull-out hose is also useful for filling taller items. I do have a slight problem in that the tap swivels back to the left too readily rather than stay in the position that I turn it to, but I suspect this is something to do with the way it has been installed and hopefully can be sorted out by my plumber. I do recommend this tap and I’m very glad I didn’t go with the option recommended by my kitchen designer and which would have cost in excess of 400; I doubt that her recommendation would have been any better than this Hansgrohe tap.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove this tap. Excellent installing advice on YouTube to make it even easier (type in “how to install a kitchen faucet” by hansgrohe store)
I did have to buy 2x 15mm to 3/8 coupler ( about 2,50 for the 2) from my local plumbers as none of the other big diy companies sold them. But still a doddle to fit. Looks gorgeous and gives my kitchen a bit of extra “wow” factor.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI really like this tap! It feels well made and looks stunning. It is very shiny and modern looking. It does mark, but it is easy to restore the shine with a dry microfibre clothe. I read other reviews about needing certain fittings but they must be pretty common place as my plumber had what he needed with him. The spout swivels very easily. This tap is non splash. I love going to work with a dry jacket these days! I have been using it for about a month and have no problems to report. I would highly recommend this tap.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersBought two of these for kitchen and utility, both for use on a high pressure system (combi boiler). Beautifully made taps with a lovely deep, shiny, finish that wipes easily to a perfect shine with a microfibre cloth and a super smooth positive action. Love the way the spout turns all the way round out of the way. Absolutely no splashing due to foaming design of spout. Completely delighted and would never buy another make of tap having had a Hansgrohe. Excellent value for money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a typical example of the German quality workmanship. This superbly engineered tap is simple to operate and will swivel through 360 degrees. It is the only tap I know of that doesn’t splash everything within 10 feet of the sink. Please be aware that the its’ flexible pipes are designed for a high pressure water supply.Your cold water will probably run very well as it will come off the mains but the hot water pressure (the volume of flow) will depend on whether or not the supply is fed from your tank in the loft or directly from the mains water.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAnother vote for this excellent piece of German engineering. This tap has actually been DESIGNED – function and form married together perfectly. A joy to fit (unlike the sink!) and flawless in use from the start. My only observation is that I had to “guesstimate” the 7Nm of torque which should be applied to the screws below the large brass retaining nut (think 7 small apples and a 1m-long bar attached at right-angles to the screwdriver…). Brilliant idea, though – easily beats randomly tightening the nut with a spanner in a potentially confined space.

It’s a pleasure to use and I look forward to flawless service for many years. As already pointed out in others’ comments, don’t forget to order a pair of 3/8″ male to 15mm compression fittings (assuming you have standard UK 15mm copper pipe).

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThis will be a long feedback, but I feel worthwhile for a product that I would recommend.

I searched for long enough to try and find a tap that has a tall swivel column, thereby reducing the forces applied to the internal sealing rings that the short column versions experience. These forces result in the failure of the sealing rings and the tap leaks around the swivel, which is unattractive and undesirable. This tap appears to fit the bill, but only time will tell if my theory is to be proven; it has a smooth lever operation (both for water flow and hot/cold mixing) and smooth swivel. The problem that I faced was that the tap is fitted with small bore hoses (and presumably small bore internals), which loses pressure and therefore on a hot supply with gravity feed head tank in the loft of a bungalow the flow of water was a trickle. I overcame this problem by installing a pump on the hot water supply, but this more than doubled the cost of replacing the old leaking Franke tap. One other problem was adapting the G3/8 female hose fittings to my 15mm copper supplies, which was achieved by using 15×10 compression straight couplings (the thread of the male part of the 10mm end matches the G3/8 female hose connection perfectly (parallel thread and face to face seals)). The price of the tap was great, especially when you consider that it came direct from Germany (Post paid!), and cheaper than the same item from any UK supplier that I tried. Delivery time was quite acceptable, perhaps slightly longer than some UK suppliers, but then for the additional price I would have expected next day before noon! So, in summary, for those with at least 1 bar water pressure this tap is recommended and for those with less than 1 bar, I would still recommend the tap and recommend that you install a pump (described as a Shower Pump).
