I didn’t want to take the TV off the wall to use an Amazon Firestick, instead I bought this. I would have liked a female to female connector though, as the wire is short.

I have used this for quite a few months now and i still am and it is very good quality with the picture. Easy to use. Nice little button to change input. But the Cable gets damaged a little bit when you bend or move about a lot. Not bad where you should not buy it just not the best. You should still buy tho.
The TV in the bedroom needed an extra HDMI port for SkyQ mini box and Google Chromecast and the HDMI switch device works brilliantly. The only drawback is it doesn’t come with a remote. Cest la vie we can’t have it all. Very pleased and same day too!

I bought this to split various inputs and it does the job and is very robust, just perfect for the job
Does what it’s supposed to. I use it for my work laptop and also my personal gaming PC as I only have one monitor. Only downside is that it only supports up to 60hz whereas my monitor is 75hz but it’s nothing to complain about. I’d recommend it.
Now all I have to do is press a button when I want to use my firestick or playstation. Beats having to mess around changing hdmi leads everytime I want to use other gadgets. Very useful.

I needed this as my tv only has two ports, I came across this Switcher and I was a bit dubious due to the price, but I couldn’t be more happier as you just ‘plug and play’ and press the button to switch between ports.

Got this item for my LG 4K UHD 50′ TV. I have too many things connected and only 3 HDMI ports. I plugged the Splitter on port 1, now I can switch between my computer, a DVD player and Amazon Stick. Now I don’t need to unplug my PS5 in port number 2 or my XBox in port number 3. The splitter solved my problem. Everything is connected and I only switch between any of them pressing the button on the HDMI switcher. I don’t now why I didn’t get this at an earlier stage. I would recommend this product. The picture quality is top.
I have only two HDMI sockets on my TV so I decided to buy this because I was always plugging and unplugging various equipment into these sockets. This product has three female and one male plug which has enabled me to keep one HDMI plugged into my TV and the others into this extension. Now by using the central button on the product it is very easy to switch between equipment without having to unplug any making the whole thing quick and convenient.

Seems solidly built and it does work, not sure about the switching as yet. The main block is on the end of a rather short stiff tail and needed ‘blu tac’ to hold it in place to stop the feed leads causing all the weight to be applied to the tv HDMI connector. Only time will tell if it continues to work
The cable is about 12″ long so it’s that distance from your monitor.
The only very minor niggles are (1) if you only have 2 inputs (as I do – 2 computers), the button will cycle from 1 to 2 to 3 … so after switching from input 1 to input 2, a further press will then move it to input 3 (nothing) – you have to press again to get it to go back to your first input. It’s no problem at all – but just remember that if you don’t see anything on your screen when you change input, you’ve probably selected an empty input. (2) the input-change button is a bit small so that when it’s behind your monitors (as it is likely to be), finding it by touch is a bit fiddly. The LED indicator light shows you clearly which input is being displayed.
Overall it was good value for me and did exactly what I needed.

I bought this to use with a secondary TV which has very few HDMI sockets available. Most of the time I only have one device connected but very handy to be able to have other devices connected adhoc when needed without having to fumble around the back of the set to swap them in and out putting wear and tare on the built-in socket.
It’s very easy to connect and setup (press the button on the unit to cycle thru and switch between the 3 inputs).
However the single permanently attached master cable is only just long enough to allow the unit to connect to the TV and sit below it to rest on top of the cupboard the TV is standing on without it dangling. A separate HDMI cable arrangement with an additional HDMI socket on the back of the unit would have made for a better configuration as it would allow for more flexibility with distance from the TV.
Overall I’m pleased with this little box as it does the job as required. I thinks it is a little pricey for what it is, but it works fine.

This kit is really easy to use. I was just able to plug in and using the toggle button just switch between devices. Saves me time and stops me having to plug and unplug (at the risk of damaging connections)
I am greedy, I always want more connections. My new TV only has two HDMI. Shocking really, Freesat Box, Freeview Box, Chromecast and my DVD player all want to be connected via HDMI. Well, this has solved that problem, and it did not cost too much. OK, so I will have to flick a switch to choose the input, but I can live with that. It’s a good little thing. Does it’s job.
A pretty fool-proof HDMI cable connector, 3 cables plug into the unit and one goes out to the TV connection. This is a real spaghetti junction cable aid or an equally useful connector if you have more HDMI cables than TV HDMI ports. I use mine with a Digital Optical Audio cable splitter (the cable connects to the unit and outputs to coaxial to my sound system). I ought to be totally honest here and say that, I had an Amazon Fire TV stick with voice control connected, along with a DVD player and CD audio player – the CD player died and I changed my Amazon Fire TV access to run through the Sky Q box, meaning that the unit became redundant roughly 24 hours after getting it (always the way huh!) but, for those with the HDMI cables to HDMI TV input sockets problem, this is an excellent little bit of kit. It’s sturdy, shiny black with a green line indicator (automatically changes to whichever feed you’re using, powered by the incoming HDMI source feed), incredibly easy to set up and at a really decent price.
Handy little device for HD connections but no good for 4K
Only been using this for a week but so far it seems to do what it says on the tin.
Only downside is I have to get up and press a button lol. But that’s ok because between the 3 devices connected, I mainly use the one it’s left on. A definite handy device.

I only just got this a few minutes ago and feel obliged to write a review so that’s saying something. This is the piece of kit I’ve been looking for, for years! I as with a lot of these reviews have a monitor with a single hdmi port. At the moment I WFH and I have an Xbox series S and Switch in my room! Up until now I’ve had to switch (excuse the unintended pun) the cables around which can be so annoying (first world problem I know) but also there is a risk of damaging the cable when constantly removing. So this solves this problem. I should point out that it does not switch automatically but I honestly don’t care about that. So far so good. Only thing I have rated slightly lower is durability only because I haven’t had it long enough to give it 5 stars. Having said this, for the price, even if I got a year out of it, I would be delighted. Must buy!
This piece of kit is a lifesaver. Seriously. The TV we have has all the hdmi ports bar 1 on the back of the TV. I read the reviews on many of these products and this 1 had the best with overall value for money. Only downside is when I’m playing my PS5 the TV switches off automatically for some reason but turning off the cec control option on the TV stopped this. Would highly recommend this to anyone reading these reviews as it’s easy to plug in and operate – all ypu do is press a button until you hit the hdmi port you want to use – its as easy as that!
I bought this to connect a cable box, DVD player and Fire Stick to one of my TVs which only has a single HDMI port. Works fine and is easy to use. Length of cable is just right so that socket sits underneath the tv screen where it is easily accessible to switch from one device to another. Only criticism is that with cable box plugged in and in standby, there is always a green light on the socket which is irritating in a bedroom at night. I thought that by switching to a device that was not receiving power that the light would go out but it does not. Minor irritation – device does the job it is intended for.
Got this as my new’ish tv only has 2 HDMI ports!
You plug this in to one of them and then plug in up to 3 HDMI leads as required. To switch between the HDMI leads there is a push button on the unit which lights up which one is selected. Just need to make sure you can reach it once plugged in so you might need to think about that. But works great and solved my issues!
My 4k TV has 3 hdmi slots and I’m someone who has a few game consoles/streaming device, on my TV in slot 1 is my ps5, slot 2 my series x and this little gadget in the 3rd slot, and into this I have my firestick, my Ossc for all my retro consoles and then my nintendo switch and it works like a charm, customer service Contacted me to see if I had any issues and so far, I don’t have any, if like me you need another 3 hdmi slots then could be the thing for you. If I run into any issues I will update my review accordingly
Very pleased, plug it in one of the hdmi connections at the rear of the tv and you then have three connections (additional to however many the tv has built in).?For me I have a cable tv box and DVD player permanently connected and this little connector means I can hide much of the hdmi leads from those two devicesplus when the grandsons turn up the PlayStation comes out of hiding and during their stay there’s no need to try and feed in temp cables..just plug it in to this connector..pleased
Used to connect HDMI extra cable to TV but the only drawback is having to go to thr back of my TV to switch ports (age and illness obvious;y plays its part) otherwise works perfectly with no loss of picture. I did receive a duplicate order and had to cancel the second payment myself although Amazon did receive the other one back but did not cancel the second payment.
Like a lot of people, I’m working from home, so I find myself switching between computers at my workspace. Everything now is HDMI, so I bought one of these switches to switch between my home computer and works laptop. It worked brilliantly, so I bought another one for the other screen. I can now leave my work laptop on my desk, and push two buttons (one on each) to swap the screens between my computers. Everything works fine, and it saves any amount of plugging things in and out.

Works well simply plug into TV then plug your other consoles etc into the available ports

Very handy device to have when you are limited to on hdmi connections with multiple devices. I needed this to connect 2 consoles to share one hdmi port. Leaves me a spare connection should i want to add another device down the line.
I’ve not noticed any difference in picture or sound but my only nit pick would be the length of the cable from the device itself is rather short.
Since the 2 consoles share one port means you can only use one at a time. Overall a worthy purchase and worth the money and very handy to have.
Seems good quality so far. Picture quality has not changed. Easy to select HDMI input as my TV in spare bedroom is not wall mounted. Only got 2 x HDMI inputs on my Panasonic Viera TV (few years old) so this was essential to allow PS4, Nintendo Switch and Amazon Fire stick to all be plugged in. Easy to use and decent length of cable to the switch so that it’s not just hanging under it’s on weight putting stress on sockets. Recommended.
What a fantastic product this is, I have hooked my PC, PS3 and Dreamcast (HDMI conversion) to this appliance and its a breeze to interchange between the three appliances. The massive bonus is that you don’t need yet another plug behind the TV for this device, its already looks like a spaghetti junction behind my TV so relived that I never needed another plug. My TV lacked HDMI ports and this expander does the job, its a great device and its seamless to switch devices and some switches don’t seem to work correctly and these even have a power supply. Fully recommended to add extra HDMI devices to your TV, which is an on-going issue with manufacturers they seem to reduce the number of HDMI ports, I have no reason why. Outstanding and recommended device.
Compact but well made, this HDMI splitter allows up to three HDMI devices to connect to one television (with HDMI socket). My TV (LG HD Plasma) only has two HDMI Inputs, one very difficult to reach. I had to use remote to change between HDMI ports and then was restricted to just two devices.
With this handy gizmo, I plug my Bluray Player, Amazon Fire and Tevo box into the splitter and that into the easy to access HDMI port on the TV. The splitter lights up (Power supply not required) and you simply press the [Select] button to switch between the three devices.
I was slightly concerned when I first connected it, that no lights appeared. However, this was simply because none of the three input devices were switched on.

Great little bit of kit, allowing us to use our second HDMI port to view blu-ray player, Wii U and Amazon Fire stick whilst keeping one HDMI port for Sky Box. Switches from device to device with the press of a button and without having to plug and unplug cables from the back of the TV. Even comes with a short HDMI cable so we didn’t have to buy another cable to connect splitter to TV, which means it is truely plug-n-play. Works perfectly and sound & picture quality are as good as if devices were plugged straight into the TV. Very happy to have found this and will make full use of it.
Very happy with this product. Firstly, it’s worth being aware that I’m only using it for 1080p resolution, switching between a Nintendo Switch and an ageing Blu-ray player – your mileage may vary if you’ve got more demanding requirements. However, we haven’t noticed any particular degradation in picture or sound quality from these devices. The fact that it’s powered by the HDMI cables themselves is a bonus and keeps everything neat. Best of all is the auto switching – it works really well with both devices and I haven’t yet had to resort to a manual in
It switch.
All in all, it did exactly what I was after. Fingers crossed it has decent longevity, but I’ve only had it for a couple of months so can’t comment.
We have a TV but it’s not SMART and only has 2HDMI ports both of which are connected to my BT TV and Freesat boxes. I had an Amazon Firestick in a drawer so dug this out and now can plug it into this adapter and basically turns the TV into a SMART TV and I can download other apps so I don’t have to just watch things on my tablet. Easy to use and very pleased with my purchase.
Needed a switch to deal with all the HDMI cables and lack of ports in my flatscreen, and had a look at a few different types. Basically went with this one as it had the inbuilt cable which meant I wasn’t having to buy an additional HDMI, and it was a really good price. Nice and easy to use, and it works well with my 4k Fire Stick, not presenting in 4k obviously as the TV or switch doesn’t support it, but that is not an issue for me (I did read some questions about that so that’s why I make mention of it). Not much you can say other than it works well and I now have 3 additional HDMI ports which is a big help.
Technology seems to be moving quicker than our old inherited Philips flat screen, and we had more devices needing HDMI slots than the TV actually had. I took a punt on this and things are so much easier. It doesn’t say so, but it actually does switch automatically to whatever device you’ve turned on, as long as you don’t confuse it and have both devices on at the same time, or turn the wrong one on, etc. We have a Blu-Ray Player and a FreeSat box attached to ours, and it copes with them both just fine, as we never need them both at the same time. No fuss, no muss and a great way to make use of the limited HDMI ports on our TV.
This was used to connect a laptop to a TV. The TV should have had 3 HDMi connectors but there were only 2 so I used this to connect the lead for the laptop. It is easy to select the channel by pressing the button and the light shows which cable is connected. It seems to work exactly the same as if one lead were unplugged and the other one put in directly and it is far more convenient than having to change the leads over every time. It looks to be good quality and is nicely designed.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but when I was looking to acquire a new HD television, I found that I couldn’t find a decent television with a reasonable amount of inputs. It seems we’ve went from having SCART televisions with a dozen slots of various types to having two to three HDMI ONLY slots. It’s quite annoying to say the least. I need to expand the slots on my television and that got me to purchase this item.
This simple HDMI switch is exactly what it looks like. It comes in very basic packaging, you plug it into the desired slot, fill up the adapter with your game consoles etc and then select whichever you want to use via the little button on top. It’s literally that simple.
For those wondering, this is of pretty good build quality and I didn’t have any visual quality dips between channels. My XBOX and bluray player looks just as good with this item and they do without it. My only real gripe is that I would have liked the cable on the back to be a little longer. It’s a smidgen too short for my set up but it’s not that big of a deal.
If you’re needing a couple more HDMI slots, this is money well spent. It looks fine, doesn’t feel cheap and does exactly what it says in the description.
Does the job for connecting my laptop, PS4 and Nintendo Switch to the same monitor.
If fps is important to you, I’m not a competitive gamer so I can’t tell if there is any obvious output lag but for standard use (such as work or normal gaming like JRPG or plarformers), the quality is perfect.
The only thing (which someone else said happened) is it doesn’t auto detect an input – I tried, but alas, I have manually press the switching button (it’s easy to locate and press) to navigate between each device connected.
I wasn’t sure this would be any good for this price, but it’s quick to set up, easy to use, & effective in it’s simplicity. The button that switches through the ports sounds a bit plasticky, but I’m not sure that really matters when I works so effectively. To be able to plug upto 3 HDMI cables in, & switch between them with just the push of a button, is brilliant.
My previous motherboard had a D-Sub port, but my new one is purely HDMI, so I needed something to connect to my monitor, alongside my PS4. This fits the bill perfectly. I have managed to balance this device at the back of my desk, so it is out of sight, yet still within reach to switch input devices. I guess I could have gone for one with a remote control, but that would be something else to loose on my desk :O
The signal is perfect on all devices, & a perfect picture to view moviesm & play games.

Exactly as described. Does what it is supposed to do. Connect the sinle HDMI cable into the tv. Then allows 3 seperate HDMI device’s to be connect to one HDMI port in the tv. This could be games console, pc/laptop, dvd.bluray player etc.Anything with a HDMI basicly. Also as an added bonus, it is automatic switching between devices too. So no manual switching needed at all. Which is fantastic in my books. Dont have to keep fiddling around with multipleHDMI cables now. Just plug them all in at once. Fantastic if you only have HDMI pory in your tv or even 2. With this you are prettyy much sorted. Anda pretty good price too. Which is also fantastic.
Definately recomment this product. If you are looking for extra HDMI connections to your tv. Definately go for this. I will be buying again just for spares or other tvs I have with limited ports. Thumbs up from me.
Arrived exactly as pictured, and works perfectly.
I bought this HDMI switch in order to link multiple games consoles etc to a TV. Had become fed up with constantly unplugging and plugging in each console when it was in use, so got this as a solution! Works exactly as described; can plug up to three separate devices into the switch, and there is then a button on the switch to choose which input you want to go into the TV.

And I have absolutely no regrets! This splitter doesn’t cover 4K, but that’s fine for me as my setup is only 1080P anyway. Red Dead Redemption 2 still looks wonderful so there’s no compromise on quality there and my laptop comes through very clearly too! No complaints for the audio either. Would definitely buy this brand again!
Now here’s the best bit… I thought it would be a manual switching between HDMI inputs device, whereby you’d have to click a button every time you want to use a different device. It is indeed like this, you can manually press the select button and jump between the 3 inputs. However, I noticed that you don’t even need to do this!
I have 3 games consoles connected to this. If all 3 are off, the moment I turn one of them, the device detects the signal and automatically switches to the relevant channel! If I turn that off and turn on a different console, it switches to that! No need to manually go and change the input every time. Was not expecting this!
Bear in mind, you obviously can’t have multiple devices on at the same time and expect to switch between them without pushing the button. But if you’re like me and just didn’t want to keep switching HDMI cables all the time, this is the perfect device for you! I’ve had no issues with glitches or blackouts etc, working perfectly, very pleased!
The only thing I can think of to improve this product would be a longer (or exchangeable) cable on the actual unit for those instances where it wouldn’t reach to an accessible position to press the button.
I bought this unit for my TV in the bedroom which had only 2 HDMI sockets and I needed 3 when I added a Fire TV Stick to the TV. Set up was simple and no loss on picture quality was noticed. The change button to select the HDMI lead you want is easy to use and a green light tells you which one you’ve selected. There’s a small TV in there that I like to watch while I’m eating, but only has one HDMI port. Choosing between watching a recording from my Freeview box or streaming something via my Google Chromecast meant having to switch over the HDMI cable each time. Until now.
This little piece of kit allows me to have both the recorder and Chromecast plugged in at all times and I still have a spare port for anything else in the future. Switching is just a simple click of a button.

I’ve a Panasonic TV, quite a few years old, with 3 HDMI slots. But I need 4. This product seemed to give me that option at low cost, so no downside risk.
It turned up when they said it would (small enough for postie to stick through the letterbox, no need to wait in). I plugged in a Humax satellite PVR and a Chromecast stick, and voila, it worked first time. No issue, no problems, it just worked. BOth pictures good quality, and easy to swithc between the two manually.
Only minor possible niggle: Had to make sure the two devices were in outside slots, as the Chromecast is physically quite wide, and *may* impact future use of the middle connection.
I’m thinking about moving the Wii onto it in the now 3rd slot, and seeing it it fits with the Chromecast. But if it won’t fit, I’m happy to buy another one at this price and use a different TV slot, and have 2×2 to meet my now extended need. Or alternatively a short HDMI extension, to have the Chromecast a few inches away from the device.
And of course, ‘naming’ the device on the TV has caused hiliarity in the family – how do I indicate the 2 (poss 3) functions in just 10 letters?!
V. happy with my purchase though – it meets the initial need spot on.
It was very easy to install and did not require any more HDMI cables. The product itself has a cable and HDMI plug on it. So, I just needed to plug both the sources, in my setup that was a SKY Q box and a PlayStation into the switcher and the HDMI cable on the switcher into the single HDMI port on my TV. I still have one port free so ready for another device if I get one.
I switched on the TV and worked instantly. The little button on the switcher allows you to switch quickly from input port to input port. Screen picture was the same quality as going through directly with a HDMI cable.

Plugs in and works right away. Auto-sensing is nice since this is being used for computers being conected to a single monitor. Love the simplicity and seems well made. Great job!
Playstation 3, Chromecast HD and Amazon Fire TV HD. The TV being used is an LG Smart 24inch.Will be buying the 4K enabled switch for my main set now. Delighted with product as it saves me switching cables on a regular basis.
unlike this one and the picture is great!! I can honestly say that you would be better of buying this cheep one then any of the expensive ones but that’s just my opinion!! I have my “Fire Stick” pluged Into one HDMI and my “Nintendo Swich” pluged Into the second n all I have too do is press a button and stop the green light on the port I wanna use! And that still leaves me with one extra HDMI slot spare!! I don’t Normanly bother with reviews but when I see one that deserves one then I do!! Cuz this HDMI Switcher has certainly brightened up my day!! Before I go I just wanna say a big Thankyou too the seller!! Thankyou
