Great to use really bright well pleased with this torch
This has extended many of my winter evenings. I use 2 pointing at the work area. (Like the instructions say, remove the battery after each use. It will drain a battery to the point of needing to be “jumped”, if left attached after use). Works great as a general flash light and a spotlight. The head adjusts nicely and the functions of on, bright, flashing and red light are all good. I’ve used with 2 amp, 4 amp and 5 amp Dewalt 18v batteries, (labelled as 20v in the USA. They’re all the same batteries). It’s survived bumps, knocks and grinder sparks.
This aftermarket torch for Dewalt XR batteries actually impressed me.
Hipoke make a few different style shapes in these but this one i felt was better for placing down on surfaces without risk of unbalance or falling over.
The head is quite chunky, but it can easily be angled to suit and clicks firmly into each position with no “drooping”.
The beam is strong and illuminates a pitch black room very well with a nice even beam.
Two brightness settings, the dimmer one is all you’ll realistically need! It has an annoying flashing mode that few will use but also a red light mode so i guess these would be good during vehicle breakdowns – just sit it on the road.
The small 1.5aH and 2.0aH batteries power it perfectly and it doesn’t run them flat quickly like i thought it might.
It’s really handy for working on job sites with no lighting or power.
And! You can plug a usb phone charger cable into it to aswell! Nice bonus feature for the busy tradesman!

Was a bit sceptical going for a non DeWalt version but, it’s very bright easy to use and very powerful, the different modes getting brighter, flashing and an extremely bright red light mode. Very sturdy construction indead infact you can’t tell any difference from the OEM casing. Very impressed and one happy Dad
Very bright work light when used with a de-walt battery. Stands solidly at whatever angle the light is set at. Gives plenty of light in surrounding area.
I have two work lights already but take so long to charge and on full days I can use them both and need to charge when I get home, I saw this advertised and read the reviews, having Dewalt battery tools and several batteries I though I would give this a try
It is now my go to work light, if the battery goes flat I just grab another battery and put it on charge, so much more versatile and having adjustable angle makes positioning so much more flexible especially under sinks etc
The cord on the handle means it can be hung up in the van out of the way of damage but always accessible, all in all I would definitely recommend this
Has 2 white light modes….Both of which are blinding strong. Red light is very powerful too.

Good beam, light weight but with battery attached feels balanced.
Works with my DeWalt batteries, VERY bright, easy to angle. When it breaks I will replace it with exactly the same torch, great bit of kit.
This is a great portable light. Does the job brilliant. I’m a builder so it’s in use quite a lot. Added bonus if a USB charger too.
