First of all I had to return one lavender GK61 keyboard I got which was faulty due to the equals and plus /f12 (=+) key was triggering the whole top right set of keys ({[]}=+ and enter) so that’s mainly why I gave 4 stars, another thing is that the keyboard feels quite sensitive which can be a bad thing for gaming for example resting my finger on key caps sometimes select that key, this can be annoying when playing a game like Fortnite when your ready your finger on a building key and it accidentally triggers.
Some good things on the GK61. Hot-swappable switches gives you a the chance to upgrade. the typing experience which is smooth and satisfying, the sound of the keys are a little clicky and thoccy ( Gateron mechanical yellows), the color of the keyboard is very accurate to the listing image’s and the rgb is very vibrant and has a lot of customizability with the app.
Overall the GK61 is worth the 69.99 price tag due to the pleasing experience I’ve had so far with typing and performance in long gaming sessions.
well nice looking keyboard compact and everything else but i can see to use the F1 to F12 keys and cant Ctrl+Alt + del also the software is bugged cant update firmware.
Arrived quickly less than 24 hours. Really enjoyed the typing experience, the button still works as an A key but ‘a’ key cap is missing there’s also no replacement keys.
Would be great if I could get the key sent out.
I am really into gaming and this was an amazing add to my setup!!!! There is nothing to worry about this keyboard, anyone can use it.
The stabilisers in this keyboard are absolutely terrible – super rattle-y any and in general just wildly unpleasant, however otherwise this keyboard is a great form factor for easy portability between computers. if you build a lot of PCs or work around them a lot this is a cheap and handy option for carrying between systems. If you’re gaming, I recommend looking elsewhere, possibly at brands such as Epomaker, or building your own – your keyboard is one of the most important tools in your life so get a good one!

Currently writing this on my GK61 with silver switches which I have used for about a month now, the keeb is great, mine came pre lubed and sounds alright stock. The main issue I have is the tacky software, which feels like a very unexperienced person put up in 10 minutes. Its extremly buggy, and I found it was difficult to manuever. Other than that, the layout may be difficult to adapt to, as it uses an American ISO Layout.

Only had it for a short while.build quality seems good the only gripe I have is that the GK6Xplus dosen’t work with the US model
I brought for my daughter, she says it’s very responsive and has a quality build.

It’s a really nice keyboard, especially if you are new to mechanical keyboards, I recommend getting a set of keycaps like I did, the stock ones aren’t as good as some other ones you can get, overall great keyboard

Affordable price, everything as described, trouble-free installation. Everything’s all righ
This Keyboard Is Very Good Gor The Price It Is Okay And It Is Good At Typing And Gaming, The Switches Feel Good And Smooth, This Keyboard Is Not Height Adjustable But Angle They Give Is Good And Isn’t Annoying But This Could Be Different To Other People. My Biggest Problem Is That The RGB Software Is Terrible And Not Good At All It Is Very Basic And For The Price You Are Paying This Is Something Basic You Would Expect So Do Not Buy This. Instead Buy A GK61 From The Brand Epomaker Skyloong As It Is The Same Keyboard But With Good RGB Software And Quite Literally The Same Keyboard As This One But Just With Different Switches (Maybe)
And Better RGB Software And That Keyboard Can Be Found On Their Website Or Amazon. This Keyboard Would Have Been Better If It Had Better RGB Software Or If It Had A Lower Price.

spacebar is the best bit. The thoccy sound does not make me regret buying this at all.
It’s amazing. Easy to use, not much noisy, the keys are soft.
Easy to clean when it’s dusty.
Highly recommend.

I love this keyboard, it feels awesome to type on and has suck a satisfying feel/sound. I also love the colour and design, it was practically the only 60% mechanical keeb I could find that was in purple, to go with my setup
HOWEVER, one word of warning – it’s a US layout. No sign key and the @ symbol is Shift+2, not Shift+’. Honestly though, for me this isn’t that much of a big deal. It actually still inputs as a sign even when I press Shift+3, and I’m kind of used to the swapped @ placement due to using Macs throughout my life. There is no # key anywhere so that may be an issue for some. I also had to play around in the HK gaming keyboard software to get the Up arrow to only input as / so that I could still type a question mark. Not a huge deal though and I just swapped Up to Right Shift in the software – it’s next to it anyway
As my first mechanical keyboard I am genuinely over the moon with it – the quality is great. There’s a tiny bit of metal ringing sound when you type (especially using the spacebar) but I don’t mind this. The RGB lighting is nice and has a good amount of different settings/colours to choose from. I would honestly rate 5 stars if I had actually received a UK layout, but consider my rating a 4.5.

Really nice keeb especially for first time custom keeb users. 60% is a lovely size for more mouse freedom. Hot swappable so you can easily change the keycaps and switches. Usb C is on the left hand side of the keeb which can be annoying if you don’t have a long cable and your pc is on your right . Rgb is nice and easy to install the software or you can change the rgb on the keyboard pressing two buttons can’t remember which though. Overall great value for money

Absolutely amazing keyboard. I have multiple expensive (400$) keyboards, but I still use this one. I ordered optical Gateron silent Brown keys and swapped them in. This resulted in the best typing experience I have ever had.
The keyboard:
Small, yet functional keyboard. Comes with a long (5ft i guess?) Usb-c cable which I was quick to trade with my phone’s short charger (life hacks). Per key RGB is plenty good, didn’t bother using the software (didn’t recognize my keyboard) for custom key mapping. Everyone reviewing mentions that the ABS key caps are frosted (or matt) finish on top and glossy on the sides, but the one I received has all matt finish key caps. I honestly like matt over glossy as glossy gets easily scratched. Also, there is no microphone under the space bar for music synced RGB (some early reviews mentioned they have it), I can’t be bothered as I don’t use computer speakers anyway.
My experience:
Despite being all plastic, GK61 has some heft to it. This is my first experience, albeit first in a very long time, with a mechanical keyboard, so I haven’t yet gotten accustomed to the nuances of a mech keyboard. Not able to match the typing speed on my Blade 15’s keyboard yet, all in time until I develop finger memory. Haven’t had issues while gaming (CS:GO mostly), but encountering a lot of errors while typing mostly due to low actuation distance of Gat Silvers and no tactile (pfft, i know right?) feedback on key presses. So, further pressing down the key caps obviously doesn’t do anything, but feels quite odd if not pressing keys all the way (idk probably just me as I’m not used to it yet).
Minor con:
One minor quality issue I have with my keyboard is that the bigger key caps (shift, enter, space bar etc) wobble when you nudge them longitudinally (tangentially to the plane of the keyboard) at key cap ends. My guess is due to cheap quality stabilisers. I’ll probably look into upgrading them later on.
Future prospects:
That’s something would great to experiment on this cheap (in comparison) keyboard, modding the insides. My first mod will probably be adding a regular foam inside for a some thoccy-ness (everyone loves thoccy keyboards right?). Followed by stabilisers and then lubrication, perhaps.
Tl;dr:
– Good enough for a modding journey.
– Choose your switches wisely.
– Less options for optical switches.
Note:
Attached photo of my humble desk setup lol! High five Poverty!
Besides the software for RGB being a little hit and miss, it’s a really good keyboard and highly recommend! I got the yellow switches and believe me you really feel the difference!
Top Quality!
Just been a day since I’ve been using it, but its an amazing product! Response time for a click is very high and the RGB lights work flawlessly. Would recommend the red one for anyone interested in gaming!

This keyboard is a really good option for a budget 60%. The optical gateron switches feel great (I got blacks) and the stabs are alright but the spacebar rattles a bit. It has plenty of good preset lighting modes and the rgb is really bright. You can also download a lighting software but I ended up not using it as the presets were better. I also customized it with custom keycaps (last pictures) and I plan to foam mod it and lube the switches.
I have had this keyboard for about 5 months and it still works perfectly with no problems at all. I would really recommend this to anyone.

Bought for my son which he loves. He says it’s an excellent gaming Keyboard
This keyboard is brilliant for the price and the red switches sound really nice. The keys stabilizers are also really good its just the spacebar that needs a little improvement otherwise the keyboard is great.

My son loves this small keyboard.. Plays various games on his gaming pc.. And says the keys respond well
Like the fact that it is a 60% keyboard so it fits comfortably on the desk without any issue. However, the software is quite complex to operate compared to other brand such as: Corsair and Logitech. Also, the keyboard does give some rattle noises. In conclusion, I would give it an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars.

Bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it, says the switches are so fast and good
Very high quality keyboard for the price. I got mine with the gateron reds and the feeling is amazing. The size of they keyboard gets some getting used to. Mainly missing the arrow keys but makes up for the quality and feel and the space it frees up. Only downside now it’s a US layout but I’m sure I gat get some keys for a UK keyboard somewhere

Received this pretty soon with prime and first impressions were positive; I like the switches a lot, despite them being a lot more sensitive than I’m used to and the caps feel ok. What got me though was the US layout, because I’d read that people said the laout was UK ISO layout and was obviously putting my money on it being something more familiar. It was not.
Lovely keyboard though!

My 15 year old loves it. Small and responsive, it’s what he hoped it would be like.
This is a fantastic keyboard for the price. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, but as I have an AMD system and therefore the Razer Huntsman Mini breaks my computer, I had to look at other options for a 60% keyboard. This one came highly recommended and I can see why – it feels so good to type on and the RGB lighting is quite customisable even without the software installed. I would definitely recommend the silver switches as they are butter smooth with just the right amount of actuation force. The best part is that even if you don’t like the switches that come preinstalled, they are fully modular so you can pull them out and install ones that you prefer. The one thing I will criticise is the cable it comes with is rather short at 1.6 meters, so I had to use one of my own. That being said, it connects via USB type C so having the option to use your own cable is a boon all of its own. If you’re in the market for a 60% you could certainly do worse than one of these guys.

The Gk61 Keyboard is the vest keyboard I have ever bought, it’s worth your money and the reaction time is amazingly fas
Product is amazing but unfortunately one of the key is broken not properly function. It’s would be great if the key was not broken and function properly.
Son loves it, especially as he can change light settings
The GK61 with Gateron Silver Switches has one of the fastest actuation points in the world. I would highly recommend it with either Silver or Yellow switches if you are a competitive gamer. The actuate almost as soon as you press the key, and the fact that the switches are linear makes them smooth and satisfying to press.
Very solid keyboard, software takes a getting used to but every easy when understood. RGB looks great. Satisfied
It is very good, but its very fast at the beginning
its great keyboard everything is good except the space bar rattles a lot overall very good keyboard for the price.

It’s a really good and kinda clicky keyboard. It’s got light-up functions and Bluetooth.
I have had many 60% keyboard’s in the past however, this is my best one yet! Highly recommend this keyboard and it is totally worth it at it’s price point!!!!
Great first day impressions. There’s no flex or squeaking to the frame, and you get a decent length braided cable. The optional software is tricky, but I managed to get a fully custom layout eventually. Go to the ‘Driver1’ tab and there’s a green cursor button somewhere on the colour palette. You can then click individual keys to apply that colour.
