Bought and fly a few time on low attitude. Good attitude holding, work return home properly and good landing.
Last time I seen this drone was flying 50 ft high flying away quick, lost connection (done GPS /wifi setting done) with base and never see 149 device again.
Comes in a great little case. The drone itself is well built and sturdy. Likewise the control folds down nicely for ease of transportation. Lots of videos online that are worth watching before you fly your first mission. App is user friendly and quick to connect. Lots of helpful tips. My only tip, don’t attempt to fly indoors. Practice first.
The drone is very easy to control provided there is no wind resistance. I wouldn’t recommend this drone if you are planning to use it in a windy setting. As expected, the video quality streamed to my phone was not too shabby and not too crisp. There is a micro SD card slot, but I haven’t tried it out yet. The drone is well worth the cost, and if you are a beginner drone enthusiast, you can’t go wrong!
A few teething problems with this product but after lots of support from Holy Stone it is working perfectly and my father is enjoying using it. Thank you Holy Stone for all of your support to my father.

Easy to fly for a beginner. Simple to set up and get flying. Easily controlled and very responsive. Only negative is the camera quality isn’t the best but for the money the package is excelle
If you are a novice, I will say this – you need to read the instructions very carefully and do everything exactly as explained in the manual. Practice in an empty field first, flying the drone directly above you for a short time and then pressing the return to home button. This way, it reliably lands within half a meter of where it took off. Then take off again a few times and get used to the controls. There are some good videos on youtube to watch.
As for recording video, using the android app I got the camera displaying video on a phone that was using Android 10, but unfortunately not on my new phone running Android 11, a few days later. This may or may not be a problem for you. Looking at the results, I would recommend you use an SD card for the smoothest video, rather than record on your phone. Again, if you are new to entry level drones make sure you know what to expect quality-wise as the camera has a small lens that is great in strong light but suffers a little on a winter day.
I successfully recorded the guttering and chimneys. I have also flown it over very tall trees and seen bird of prey nests, and got it to follow me across a field. Pretty impressive what the app can do with a GPS signal.
If the video worked properly with my Android 11 phone I would give it 4.5 stars, if that were possible. Overall a good introduction to drone flying and well worth it, if only for the experience.
An easy to fly drone but you do have to go through a set up routine before every flight. I suppose what I am saying is that it doesn’t “remember” the set up from the last time. Because of this it probably merits a 4.5 star rating but you can’t do that so it still gets 5 stars.
This was a gift so all I know about it is that my 10 year old grandson loves it. Have seen him fly it and he seems to have no problem with the controls. Good value for money

Test flight i landed it my mistake in long grass and propellers kept going for longer than expected ( damage to blades?) I am a novice

Impossible to pair. Gone through the whole instruction booklet. Supposed to just push left lever forwards then backwards.

The drone represents good value for money. It is a real joy to fly and the quality of the imagery is high. I have seen the drones for 50 and this one is so much better. I am minded to get one for 250 from the same manufacturer. The other important discovery is that following a minor accident one of the rotors was left turning too slowly. The motor was presumably damaged. The seller deemed this to be within the terms of their warranty and we qualified for a 1 time replacement. We kept the old one for parts.
Only downside is the camera but over all I’m very happy with my purchase.

Excellent value for money and the Bear Grylls of drones. After having the drone for a few days, I decided to try flying up to around 80-90m attitude after the recent snow over the UK. This proved to be a big mistake, as the drone was caught by the wind and flew out of sight. A few days later it was found by a local behind his house. We dried it out and were delighted to find that it still worked perfectly. Quite phenomenal when you think it was outside in the snow for around four days during the coldest time of the year. It is very easy to fly and is pretty nippy for a beginner like me. The return to home and GPS functions are a great addition considering the more than reasonable price. My only complaint would be that when close to its take-off point on low battery RTH it doesn’t rise up before moving across to land, narrowly missing my outside table today. However if you’re looking for a beginner drone look no further. Holy Stone also provide good customer service.
Very good drone for the price, good image quality, decent stability in light wind with excellent options in various modes. A must have is to watch various tutorials on you tube to help you gain experience and confidence with this drone. Only negative is that the instruction booklet should have more in depth explanations

I have the next model up the HS100GPS This was a Christmas present – next day out for a fly – 10 seconds later its 15m up in a tree . It spent two months stuck in this tree in awful weather – just got it down today and it works perfectly apart from the blade bearing pins going a bit rusty. The battery was virtually full. Its not meant to be waterproof but it stood up well. Top marks.
Only bad bit is you have to charge the battery in the drone they should do a charging bank for 4 at a time but who am I to say

This is a great beginner drone.
After having watched several of my grandsons mini drones either disappear into the distance or be far to hard to control I decided to spend a little more and after reading the reviews I bought this one.
Comes ready to fly (just charge the battery’s,) Initially I was a little confused with the instructions but after looking on YouTube it became easy.
You do need to download the app and use your smart phone for the GPS but it’s well worth it.
Easy to pair and with 3 user settings it was easy to fly on beginner mode.
Very stable and when the battery gets low it will automatically return to landing site.
Only negative points are the battery life is 15 mins which to be fair is about the same as other drones in this price and I’d suggest making sure that no other WiFi signal can interrupt the Holystone one and the camera is fixed
Overall a great drone for the money.

This is a nice starter drone with some great features for the price. Feels solid in build and good quality.
Over the moon with this model drone. The set up was incredibly easy and quick. Definitely a drone for the novice or first time buyers. I was surprised at the range and how well it stands against wind. The drone is very resistant to damage as I’ve bumped it a few time. The battery life is around 12 minutes, with varying speeds and a lot of taking off and landing. Luckily I got some extra batteries straight away. The only issue i have had with it was an issue with the app being in a different language, but after emailing the customer support who replied the same day, managed to sort my issue with an entire app update with 2 days. Something that doesn’t usually happen with companies.
This is a great beginner drone. It is easy to set up, and handles well.
Battery life is short (10-15 mins) so worth getting a second battery

So far impressed by this drone. A little bit of confusion with the various colours of flashing lights during setup but I’m sure that is part of the learning curve. Pleased with the camera and the connection to the app. Wouldn’t recommend flying the drone in anything other than a very light breeze.
Made a mistake in pressing the ‘return to home’ button forgetting that the drone wouldn’t avoid obstacles…
I bought this for my ten year old brother and myself, and I have to say it’s brilliant. Really easy to operate, very robust, and it flies extremely well. (It survived that collision with the bench and was absolutely fine!) Battery life is a bit short but at this price range that’s expected, and it’s more than enough time to have fun with. A second battery would be very useful if you were to buy this product. All in all, highly recommended, and great for drone flying beginners!
This is a brilliant drone for beginners like myself, The quality of this holystone drone is very high, the drone is very lightweight yet sturdy at the same time, the controls are very easy to use even for a first timer like myself, the instructions are basic and easy to understand. The camera on the drone takes good quality pictures and the link with a smartphone is easy to manage. The only downside to the drone is the battery life which is somewhat short but it is a minor grievance, overall this is a very good drone.

Wow this drone is so easy to use. I have had cheaper drones in the past, but this thing blows them out the water. Easy to set up and use. The camera is surprisingly good for the money. Definitely recommend this drone.
We had a great first flight in the park with the boys. Was worried before, but everything was so intuitive once the drone was in the air. The drone is well made and flies well. We are looking forward to our next flight.
Really good quality drone, easy to set up and use, meaning we were up and flying within minutes of un-boxing. The combination of drone and initial app set up make this a perfect drone for beginners, but with removable restrictions that give more and more control as you get used to flying. Very stable, but also quick and nimble flying experience with a great camera to boot. Would definitely recommend both this drone and Holy Stone more generally.
Good little learner drone. A little practice in an open space and in a few minutes you will be flying fine. But read the manual first.

Amazing drone for the price, GPS is a great feature and definitely helps beginners not lose their drone, it is fun and exciting with great features.
Easy link via QR to app – downloaded that to iphone and then followed the manual. Super easy to set up – pairing handset and phone with drone, calibrating compass and accessing GPS signal. the link for controls to drone work really well. The tricky bit is then getting your head around flying it. On the down side, 10 or so minutes flying – battery drains fast if you record video as I did, suspect 13 mins is feasible if you don’t. But that is frustrating as just as you get the hang of it, it’s 3 hrs to recharge, so consider an extra battery if you can stretch to that. It seems robust – I’ve crashed it about 3 times and nothing broken so far! On reflection I think I would go for the 120 with swivel camera: it enables you to hover but scan down to ground – the 110 has a fixed camera that only sees horizontally, so to get an aerial shot looking at ground you have to tilt the nose of the drone downward – minor point but a novices error. Looking for to playing with it again in 3 hrs 😉
I think its brilliant for the price i paid and it has features on this drone that you usually only see on expensive drones

Tactile control that a child can manage. Easy “straight out the box” flying with beginner mode set to default.
Brilliant video quality and great stability.
The auto return to home function gives great piece off mind although I’m not sure how the drone courses the route home which almost led to a trees incident.

I got this as a gift and love it. Takes a little bit of getting used to but doesn’t take long to get the hang of. Good quality photos and videos easily controlled by wither the remote control or phone. Haven’t tried out the hand gestures feature yet. All in all a great piece of kit.
Very pleased with the function and control of the drone – my 9 year old can fly unaided and the GPS function work well and keeps the drone safe and in control.
I was also particularly pleased (and surprised) with the customer service support. They were very helpful in sourcing spare parts during COVID-19

Recommended to anyone first starting out using an drone
The drone came well packaged with clear and consise instruction booklet. Spare blades and landing gear is included plus charging cable. The sequence to start the drone and calibrate the GPS worked first time and the drone was ready to take off. I used the drone with a wind of approx 15 mph in a large open field , I was very impressed with the way it handled the light wind and maintained its position locked into GPS. I would doubt the drone could handle comfortably a wind higher than this, but for its price tag you would not expect it to. The follow me mode and return to home functions I them tested which worked perfectly. It almost landed within a few cm of where it had taken off .The total flight time was pretty much spot on at just over 12 minutes. Overall I rate the drone as a good value basic drone for the price , the camera cannot be moved downwards to capture more of the ground is my only criticism for its price. Would recommend as an entry to flying drones if you are not looking to spend hundreds straight away.

My first drone amazed how easy it is to fly
Got this drone for Christmas. Really enjoying it so far. Good beginner drone. Only negative, lasts only 13 minutes after charging it for 2hrs. Would buy again!
Bought for some family fun at Christmas and it didn’t disappoint. Just flying it in beginner mode at the moment which prevents the drone from flying too high or too far away (it returns home if you try). Combined with the phone app it is full of functionality at a very reasonable price.
It came fully assembled in the box, and with a spare set of propeller blades do, and a single charging cable. I would have liked to have seen either two charging cables, OR a split charging cable, as both the controller AND the drone have batteries that need charging via USB. Setting up and calibrating was very easy, although the calibrating method wasn’t clear in the manual. To calibrate is simply have the drone on the ground with camera facing AWAY from you, then pick it up from behind and holding it horizontally out in front of you, turn your body a complete 360 degree arc. Then keeping hold of the drone, hold it VERTICALLY so the belly is facing your belly, and again do a nice 360 degree arc, and you will see the lights stop flashing and change colour, and its calibrated. Nothing could be simpler really. Spare batteries are reasonably cheap, and I would advise getting a couple of spares, as drone flying is highly addictive. The camera, while not a massive amount of MP, is more than adequate for providing sharp and clear video and stills (Don’t forget to order an SD card).
So, in conclusion, If you are just starting drone flying, or are wanting to upgrade from one of the more toy like drones to something a bit more capable, then the Holy Stone HS110G would be a fine choice. I must say I was apprehensive to start with, but once I got the drone outside onto a field, I could completely relax and enjoy myself, and now have a new hobby. So get one, and have some fun……

Holystone have got the reasonable priced drone spot on this time the features make this drone so easy to fly. I am yet to test all of these features but cannot wait to fly it again. This drone is a solid starting point for first time flyers. As you can see from my video the drone is stable and camera is great quality. If I was trying to find something to criticise it would be that it does not have a camera gimbal but this would of course increase the cost of the drone. All in all price vs functions is spot on in my view.
I have owned the drone for a few weeks and am very happy with it. The build quality and feel of the controller is excellent . Battery life for the drone seems around 15 minutes and takes around an hour to charge. Unfortunately you have to charge th battery in the drone as no separate battery charger. Otherwise it is easy to fly with GPS fix and headless mode. transmitter range is around 300 metres. I would recommend this product.
Great little drone. Very easy to set up. Stable flight with easy controls. Nice camera. In beginner mode it’s very easy to use. Some great options when using the smart phone app (I’m using a huawei mate 20 pro and haven’t had any issues) I would recommend this drone for kids and adults. As a follow up. The drone came with a voucher for a free battery, all I had to do was submit a review and send Holystone a link. A few emails and a little time, a new battery has just arrived via royal mail from China. Correspondence from Holystone was polite, professional and friendly. Great drone great customer service.
A great purchase. Found the controls very responsive and easy to control. Takes great pictures and videos at the touch of a button. Quite easy to conect to your phone and get started. Comes with clear instructions and everything you need with it. A lot of fun. Highly recommend
There are drone & controller battery levels, distance, speed & height indicators. The display also has GPS signal strength all on the App on your mobile phone. There are other features on the display App, including photo and video viewing, change from beginner mode to what distance height levels you require.
The best feature is the ease and adaptability of this fabulous midi drone. I have flown many drones this one is at the top, and not expensive either. Great value.
Looks well built and comes fully assembled out of the box. The single battery supplied gives over 10 minutes of flight time with WiFi video ON, and has quite a large Wi-Fi video range. Battery charging time is about 30 min.
The construction of the remote control is somewhat innovative: it is compact when folded, but large and ergonomic when operational. However, it came as a surprise for me, that you can’t turn the remote control OFF by pressing the ON/OFF button (it turns off only automatically), and that the Emergency stop function only works with two seconds delay (it is the same button which is used for take-off / landing), which can be enough to run it into a trouble, especially indoors. One star off for the Emergency stop delay issue.
In open air, the drone behaves predictably with plenty of power to cope with strong air and high altitude. Auto “return to base when discharged” function, gives an extra piece of mind.

The GPS is the safety feature for me. It stops me from unintentionally losing it. As you don’t want to lose an item at over 100. Camera is decent and easy to link to phone.

This is a drone full of features and easy enough to use for a first timer at flying drones. It was a bit tricky to set up but Holystone were brilliant and quick at responding and we were flying soon after…the drone is stable and holds your phone securely. It’s fast and we wondered if the flight time would be a problem but it wasn’t! The one touch button for take off and landing was a god send as it felt nervous to fly it well initially but we soon got better!! We really recommend this drone for the price it’s a fun price if kit….
The step by step setup was very straight forward and the mobile app itself had tutorial videos on how to use the drone witch is a very useful feature I liked. My biggest fear before buying a drone was losing it or breaking it however the drone has a smart feature that automatically sets the drone back it its original take off spot if at any point you lose connection or you just simply want it to come back with auto flight.
All in all a 10/10 and would definitely recommend it even if its your first drone!
The drone itself it is easy to set up and the manual is really easy to read with pictures to help as well! So within ten minutes of un-boxing I was flying.
The drone and the app make this a perfect set up for beginners as there are removable restrictions set to help you get settled and used to flying, I found that the speed adjustment made it so easy to get used to and once I was ready I maxed out the speed and was amazed by how nimble the drone is!
I’m sure I wont be the first one to say I’ve managed to crash quite a few times and it sure does take a beating! so far I haven’t managed to damage it at all (Thank god) but the best thing is that if you do then there are spares included and the propellers are very easy to replace.
As for the controller, I think it works perfectly as you don’t need your phone connected to be able to use all of the features. Being able to fold it completely down is really helpful for carrying it around and its surprisingly comfy to hold. I thought that I might not be able to fit my phone in as I have quite a large phone but it did with room to spare it was firmly held in place so I didn’t feel it would just suddenly fall out.
Overall I’m really impressed with the drone and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking to buy one!
I personally liked how this drone comes with a GPS design marker on the top which is a nice addition.
Furthermore, it has red and white stripes around its motor arms that helps you know which is front and back.
I am huge fan of all models of Holy stone drones, but I like the compact models and this has a big good combination in size and quality, one of the best drones I have.
