I liked that it was already assembled. The finish is a bit rough but it would be easy to sand and reseal if it’s too rough. I like it so probably wont do that. I think that my cat will soon destroy the baskets but that’s a risk I have with everything I buy. All in all I’m pleased with the item.
I wanted a unit for the end of my sofa, but in dark wood. The unit is light and unfinished, so it was perfect to stain dark. I’m very with my purchase and it will hold little things at arms reach.

This is excellent I got this for the bedroom to clear away the clutter from my dressing table, the draws a roomy and big enough to hold a large hairdryer and products.
I was looking for something to use beside my home office working desk to pop my stationery, wires, notebooks etc in – and this is just perfect. I measured up and it pops under my desk level, so is an extra paperwork shelf level and everything else I need away and reachable in the drawers beside me. The only thing with wicker basket drawers is that they are a bit rough to pull in and out – but do-able.
