If the Camera Fails in Connecting to the WiFi
Even a powerful internet signal can cause the device to disconnect or go offline and there are reasons behind it. If you have a connection problem, please check for the actual conditions and restart the camera.
1. Our product can only support 2.4GHz wifi. If your router supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, please switch it to a 2.4GHz network.
2. The device is too far from the Wi-Fi router so even though the house has powerful internet connectivity, still the device can get disconnected or go offline as the device won’t get the necessary signal continuously.
3. Most home Wi-Fi routers have a limitation. They can accommodate no more than 16-20 devices. So this is also a thing to be checked if the device is getting disconnected often or going offline.
4. Sometimes a device will need just a proper reset. A proper reset involves removing a device from the app, then plugging it in another outlet, then resetting it, and finally pairing it to the app again.

The security camera was delivered on time and in good packaging. The product is ideal for watching pets or children from a distance to make sure everything is fine. The surveillance camera is equipped with motion detectors, audio and is compatible with the Alexa. The device should be placed in a safe place with a wide field of view, its material is durable but I don’t think it will withstand a few falls anyway. Instead, the video quality is pretty good, has simple instructions, and is easy to use.

This arrived neatly packaged in a retail box and inside you get the Camera, Mounting Plate, USB-A to Micro-USB Cable, Screws & Raw Plugs, and Instructions. To operate this, you will need to download the App to your mobile device and have a Micro-SD card and/or sign up to the Cloud service — this starts at 59/year.
The camera is quite compact and lightweight, with simple controls. On the rear is the port for the cable and a reset button. Under the lens is the slot for the Micro-SD card slot. Once you have set the camera up, go into the App and turn the camera off and it will reveal the slot. Insert the card and then turn on again. It says a card between 4-60Gb. It worked with a 32Gb one fine but unfortunately, I did not have 64Gb one to try with it.
Downloading the App was easy enough, but you do need to set up an account with your email address and create a password and it then sends you an activation link to that email address. With the instructions is a QR code you scan with your mobile device to pair the camera with the App. Despite multiple attempts, this failed. I then went down the route of Wi-Fi paring and in about 1min it was all set-up and running.
The picture quality was not great on HD, quite pixelated but it was much better on FHD. With the App, you can control the direction of the camera, zoom in, use it as an intercom, etc. I found the motion tracking to be pretty good as well.
Where the camera did struggle was with fast moving images and there was a definite lag with movement between camera and it is coming through to the phone. When I was testing this, both the phone and camera were about 3m from my router. Also, night vision is a little hit and miss, especially if there is something light close to the camera.
When I consider what you get for 20.99, I cannot fault the value for money aspect of this camera and the functionality you get through the App.

Description says you get a US plug, but you actually get a UK 3 pin plug.

Really pleased with this wireless indoor camera. Good build and great picture quality with 355 left/right fuselage and 1080P high definition picture quality with a 32F infrared night vision which allows you to see everything in the dark.
It was straightforward for my husband to set up and install although there is an instruction manual supplied. It can be supported via Alexia and also you can download the YI lot app to connect to your mobile phone/ device and control from there.
It has motion and sound detector so you can be sent a alert notification on your phone.
Also with a built in microphone and speaker you can communicate with someone.

At the current price of 20.99 I would say it’s excellent value for money and highly recommended.
This is a nice little camera, motion tracking works really well if switched on and you can see it follow you around the room. My one issue with this and reason it lost a star was that it’s noisy. Creaks and groans as it rotates so after a day I ended up turning of the motion tracking as it started to get a little irritating every time I moved. Other than that it works really well. Easy to setup and easy to operate. Apart from the noisy rotation it’s a pretty good little camera considering the price.
simple setup couple of clicks and it was on my network and the app connects easily for good quality monitoring and security, volumes a bit low but excellent picture quality
Very easy to install, I installed it in the house and I am very satisfied. The application is quite good, it can be used by many users. The camera sounds great on the audio side and the night filming is excellent. Overall, the quality / price ratio is ok, it connects and works super well. Came very well pavkaged and with fast delivery.

This is a nice little camera, with PTZ functionality and lots of features from the app.
Once you’ve installed the app and paired the camera up to your Wi-Fi it’s a simple matter to set the camera up. You can move it around, have two-way audio, select areas to detect motion and record to the on-board micro-SD card. It needs the micro-USB power lead attached at all times.
Picture quality is really quite good, even in the dark, although it’s a bit grainy. Certainly good enough for indoor use.
This is very easy to set up, even more so if you already have the YI Iot App installed on your device. It works well producing as good a picture as you would expect for the spec, although as is typical the in age contrast is set high with the result that shadow areas are dark and lacking detail, but I find this is the case with cameras in this price range. The pan and tilt is good, apart from the limited downward movement, if you want to get a clear view of the floor they camera will need to be mounted tilting downwards.
This works well as a baby monitor. It does get a little hot however so we have to switch it off when it’s not in use. Provides great image quality and is simple to set up.
This is a good quality camera that was delivered quickly and in good quality packaging. It is really easy to set up and use and has some great features. The video quality is really high and super clear, and it has night vision as well which is great.]
It has two-way audio so you can talk into it and listen to what is being said as well, and you get notifications when motion has been detected. Good value for money, I highly recommend it.
An amazing product it is easy to set up and once connected allows multiple users to use it. The camera is easy to set up and use its two way audio. Motion detection and night vision. The camera is also in a fairly small form factor and easy to set up. The instructions are easy and simple to understand. The wide angle lens helps to ensure that everything is visible. The camera has motion detection that can be used or you can use a sd card in the camera to store anything that records onto the sd card on the camera itself.
The noise it does when scanning the QR code is a bit annoying though.

The night vision is quite good, see pictures in review. And the motion detector works well, follows you with a bit of delay but overall works as expected.
Con: the cloud option for storage mentioned in the product is a paid option, starting at $5/mo.

The camera comes with a power plug, a 2m power cable, mounting bracket, screws and raw plugs, and an instruction manual.
The area covered is 355 pan and 90 tilt, it has a wide angled lens to reduce blind spots. It also comes with clear 32ft night vision, so that you can monitor the area 24hours a day.
The camera connected via the Yi Lot app first time. After connecting to the app just follow the instructions on your phone or pad, the camera will also confirm commands as you go through the set up. I can now control the camera from my phone and pad.
The instruction manual text was very small, so if you’re a first time user you may find it difficult to follow the instructions.
As it comes with a built in microphone and speaker, you can hold a conversation between you and someone else in front of the camera, anywhere in the world.
You can check via live view, or playback video via a Micro SD card (Not included). The SD card slot can be located by moving the camera up, to expose the slot.
You can secure the camera on the wall, or on furniture, with the help of the wall bracket.
Setting the camera up was very easy, especially if your used to installing these devices and you already have the apps installed.
Update: don’t bother applying for the free sd card or Amazon voucher, from the card included in the box. It’s an old offer that they no longer honour.
This comes well presented in its own box.
I found this very easy to set up, don’t forget to download the app tho and then you can pair.
This is just great for keeping an eye on our 2 rescue dogs and rescue cat when we are not home, the images are clear and as there’s a 2 way audio function I can even speak to them!

I found this quite easy to set up, simply a case of downloading the YI Iot App software then pairing to my phone and my home wifi, pretty much job done now I can log in from anywhere and even hear audio as well as speak through the camera remotely, image quality is good in the light and still works well at night too so a perfect camera for monitoring pets, babies or even home security.
This indoor camera is great, it feels good quality and looks good in our room. I love how it connects to an app for easy viewing as well as having night Vision. Great camera!
