Have purchased several of these expanding hoses and so far this one has lasted the longest. It’s easy to use and is light so suitable for my needs. Only hope it doesn’t burst like others I have purchased. I’m very careful not to pull it over stones or walls etc in case I damage it. Therefore only 3 stars given.
Purchased this to plug into our outside tap and water the plans / grass and fill up the little ones paddling pool.
Was easy to plug in and get working, and does the job perfectly. Looks quite smart so really can’t complain, especially for the price.
Compact, lightweight easy to use and store had to purchase this as a replacement as there was a leak in previous one, could possibly have been caused by our curious cat. Luckily not too expensive.
This is the second time i have reviewed this item, my other report was that the hose only lasts at best 3 summers. HOWEVER the hose i purchased on the 22nd of May 2022 has burst, after every time i used it i turned off the water supply and released the pressure and stored the hose safely. what a load of RUBBISH. Easy, lightweight and fantastic variable flow choices. Can use it for watering hanging baskets, the whole garden, hosing down the paths and many more uses.
So far I’m happy. It’s light, easy to use and doesn’t get coiled up or kinks in. Good price and even though I don’t know yet how long it will last it’s cheap enough not to worry about that too much.
Bought this as I’m doing the boring job of growing grass.
Unfortunately didn’t last very long as it’s already broken.
It pinged off inside meaning I had to cut the fabric to get to the little hose inside. The head didn’t last 5 mins either and I had to replace within a week.
If your looking for a hose that lasts longer then a month I would give this a wide birth
I’ve only used used this once so I cannot comment on its durability. I needed a tap adapter which isn’t supplied and bought one in my local garden centre, it cost me more than the hose.
I love this hose. Somehow it doesn’t get knotted or kink. Just remember to turn off the tap and empty the water out of the hose, before you disconnect it. I ended up with a mad snake spurting water up my hall as I chased it lol
We bought this less than a year ago for our caravan but due to lock down etc we haven’t had much chance to use it. Very disappointed today to hook up and find its full of leaks
We got those hose to replace a similar one that failed. I know this isn’t a premium product designed to last forever, but it works very well, and seems to be quite well made for the money. The head has a good range of spray modes, all of them probably useful in the garden at some time or another.
When not being used, and drained down, it coils up very quickly and easily. That’s where this is so much better than a traditional rigid hose.
Just tried out this hose as only recieved it today and very happy so far!
Easy to put together and easy to use! Multiple settings…. Looking forward to using it more.
My only concern is how long it will last as I know a few people that have had issues with the hose splitting and not lasting very long with similar products (not this particular one) …but I’m hoping if its looked after it will last!! Fingers crossed anyway!! Good value for money otherwise!!
For my elderly mother to water her pots and fill her birdbath- and only just long enough (so perfect!) for just that. easy to set up and use. Light weight- the sprinkler attachment feels quite solid and has many different ‘modes’ –
Will put it away in the winter to help preserve its life.
Bought as a replacement for our old expanding hose pipe, at 50ft it’s plenty long enough to reach all our garden , comes in a storage bag, has instructions on how to use including its first use , has all the fittings for attaching to an outside tap, including spare rubber washers, very easy to use, great value for money, would definitely recommend.
I got this for a new house which we moved into so there was a hose to use for the back garden, and this was perfect, lightweight so easy to move around, small enough that it doesn’t get in the way, and the flow of water is strong enough to clean the garden and be used for other things if needed too.
I don’t want to complain. But the first time I used it, the hose sprang a leak.
I’m sure this doesn’t happen all the time, and would like to give the seller a chance to sort this out. I think this is a very good product and would welcome a replacement.

Was very shocked when I took it out the box as it certainly wasn’t 50ft and was so short it wouldn’t have been useful to anyone UNTIL I connected it up and as soon as water was passing through it grew by an enormous amount !!!!
All the fittings came pre attached and it’s super lightweight.
Always wanted to have a hose for our small garden but didn’t have the room to coil up a great big dirty yellow hose. This hose is great to use and easy to pack away into its small bag. My advice would be to be patient when setting up as the instructions aren’t too great. One of the hose connectors comes attached to a nozzle which made it seem like it wasn’t going to fit my hose. Also make sure all the water is drained out the hose before detaching as the build up of pressure could cause a problem. Really happy with this nonetheless

When i opened the box and pulled out the light weight short hose i thought oh no, here another item that’s not as described. Oh how i was wrong!
This product is magic. Push it onto the tap, turn on the water and wait. Make sure the valve is set to off on the far end of the hose and it grows…. and grows! It did exactly as promised and is a great length for my needs, seems pretty durable and well made too.
I have always been against hose pipes unless really needed, but i wish i had brought one of these years ago.
When you’re finished, disconnect and the hose shrinks back down to a nice compact light size. Awesome. I cant wait to try out the spray fitting 😀

Okay.. I have used this hose day in and day out for watering my garden since early 2021.
It has been genuinely lightweight, kink free and very much expandable. But now, around one year later, the latex hose inside has developed a leak, and the cloth covering it has torn in quite a few places.
I’ve given it 4* because I still love this hose. It has been a very easy to use product. But I’m sad that it hardly lasted a year.

Very nice lightweight hose with a good nozzle
Mine does leak a bit at the spout but that could be an issue with the adapter my landlord stuck on… The water pressure is good though and it is entertaining watching the hose expand and retract!
I bought the hose a year ago and it’s been fantastic for watering the garden filling the paddling pool etc
The hose expands when you turn on the tap so when not in use it takes up very little space and it’s very lightweight unlike a traditional hose that kinks and is a pain to store. There are multiple spray patterns within the gun handle and it all fits snugly in a draw string bag.
I had an issue with my hose recently when a leak developed, the retailer were fantastic and replaced the hose free of charge due to its twelve month guarantee!!

Love this product. My mum said her ‘expandable hose’ exploded and not to buy one but I left the water on over night once and this one didn’t have a problem. It is a fabulous piece of kit. What’s most fun about this product is I use it to water the garden with my 2 1/2 year old and she can use the nozzle and help me in the garden! Fabulous fun and productive!
Been using this for around 6 months weekly and still working fine, only issue is that after use if your using a gun you need to hold the trigger to empty the water so the hose shrinks and you can store it away (mine lives outside in the elements) but seems to be standing up to frost, rain, sun etc with no issues.

Brilliant product! This hose arrived in a really small package and I was worried because I couldn’t imagine that the hose would be any good due to its weight and size? But I was pleasantly surprised when I got it out and attached to the tap it was so easy to use and extended as soon as it was filled with water. The gun is great with so many different options which mean you don’t damage any flowers when watering. My kids have loved playing with this hose whilst it’s been sunny outside – hours of fun!! When it’s time to put it away, you simply let the water out, it reduces to its original size and fits easily back into the little bag! Overall a great hose for a great price, I’m just hoping it will last.
I bought this to replace my Hozelock expanding hose and this does the job very weel at half the price.
The push-fit connectors do not leak and the hose does what it is supposed to do.
The only gripe I have is that with the Hozelock the fitted connctors were stop flow connectors, so I could change spraying tools when washing the car (snow foam and spray gun) whereas this hose does not have that feature which is a bit of an annoyance.
But this is half the price and it does expand and contract as it is supposed to.

It packs away easily when emptied into a small bag which I hang on the water tap. My only issue is that I stood on it while watering and it sprang several leaks and had to be replaced. Whilst the hose itself is brilliant not sure about its durability when full of water and under pressure. You do need to empty it after use but that’s quite easy as you just turn off the tap and open up the spray nozzle

Well you live and you learn don’t you and as long as you don’t make the same mistake twice you just shrug your shoulders and go back to Amazon and but another one.
This one is different to the one that leaked. First of all it is blue (previously one was black). Not that the colour makes any difference, I’m just saying. The second is that this new one is even lighter than the old one. I’m talking seriously lightweight. Like a box of straw when it arrived. Now you may question whether a product with so little mass / density is able to do the job. I did anyway. The answer is a resounding YES. It seems that the hose has been re-engineered to make sure the wall linings are a thin but strong synthetic material which is probably made in a laboratory by very clever people in white coats and thick glasses modelled on the skin of a sea turtle or something (I don’t know that for sure and to be honest, I’m making this bit up). The second, and most striking aspect of this hoses’ lightness is the coupling device to the water faucet (tap to you and me) which, instead of being made of a shiny brass type material is actually made of a dullish grey plastic. Well fancy that. How does the hose mechanism fit properly on the water faucet (tap) using only a plasticised screw mechanism I hear you say. Well the answer is, it must be a magical type of special plastic because it actually fits quite snugly and there is no sign of spewage (that is a technical term) from the side of the faucet (tap).
I will continue to marvel at the wonders of this new hose. Like the old one it recoils in a comedic manner when you turn off the faucet (tap) and expands in an anaconda type wriggle when you turn on the faucet (tap).
I must remember to bring this one in over the winter though.

Not the sort that you can just put your thumb over I’m talking a slit so big that water barely made it to the end of the hose as it all squirted out of the hole. Well you live and you learn don’t you and as long as you don’t make the same mistake twice you just shrug your shoulders and go back to Amazon and but another one.

Excellent lightweight hose with no fuss of winding up. Good spray head. Just what I wanted to reach all corners of (smallish) garden with no fuss. I just leave it attached to outside tap

Have purchased several of these expanding hoses and so far this one has lasted the longest. It’s easy to use and is light so suitable for my needs. Only hope it doesn’t burst like others I have purchased. I’m very careful not to pull it over stones or walls etc in case I damage it. Therefore only 3 stars given.

HOWEVER the hose i purchased on the 22nd of May 2022 has burst, after every time i used it i turned off the water supply and released the pressure and stored the hose safely. what a load of RUBBISH. Unfortunately didn’t last very long as it’s already broken.
It pinged off inside meaning I had to cut the fabric to get to the little hose inside. The head didn’t last 5 mins either and I had to replace within a week.
If your looking for a hose that lasts longer then a month I would give this a wide birth

I love this hose. Somehow it doesn’t get knotted or kink. Just remember to turn off the tap and empty the water out of the hose, before you disconnect it. I ended up with a mad snake spurting water up my hall as I chased it lol

We bought this less than a year ago for our caravan but due to lock down etc we haven’t had much chance to use it. Very disappointed today to hook up and find its full of leaks
We got those hose to replace a similar one that failed. I know this isn’t a premium product designed to last forever, but it works very well, and seems to be quite well made for the money. The head has a good range of spray modes, all of them probably useful in the garden at some time or another.
When not being used, and drained down, it coils up very quickly and easily. That’s where this is so much better than a traditional rigid hose.
Just tried out this hose as only recieved it today and very happy so far!

My only concern is how long it will last as I know a few people that have had issues with the hose splitting and not lasting very long with similar products (not this particular one) …but I’m hoping if its looked after it will last!! Fingers crossed anyway!! Good value for money otherwise!!

Bought as a replacement for our old expanding hose pipe, at 50ft it’s plenty long enough to reach all our garden , comes in a storage bag, has instructions on how to use including its first use , has all the fittings for attaching to an outside tap, including spare rubber washers, very easy to use, great value for money, would definitely recommend.

Not too long 50 ft ideal for a small garden. Good pressure. A variety of spray options. Coils up easily. Green colour blends in with garden.
I got this for a new house which we moved into so there was a hose to use for the back garden, and this was perfect, lightweight so easy to move around, small enough that it doesn’t get in the way, and the flow of water is strong enough to clean the garden and be used for other things if needed too.
I don’t want to complain. But the first time I used it, the hose sprang a leak.
I’m sure this doesn’t happen all the time, and would like to give the seller a chance to sort this out. I think this is a very good product and would welcome a replacement.

Was very shocked when I took it out the box as it certainly wasn’t 50ft and was so short it wouldn’t have been useful to anyone UNTIL I connected it up and as soon as water was passing through it grew by an enormous amount !!!!

Always wanted to have a hose for our small garden but didn’t have the room to coil up a great big dirty yellow hose. This hose is great to use and easy to pack away into its small bag. My advice would be to be patient when setting up as the instructions aren’t too great. One of the hose connectors comes attached to a nozzle which made it seem like it wasn’t going to fit my hose. Also make sure all the water is drained out the hose before detaching as the build up of pressure could cause a problem. Really happy with this nonetheless

This item was fantastic but I didn’t realise you wouldn’t be able to leave it to fill a pool, as it flies all over the place and doesn’t stay still.
This product is magic. Push it onto the tap, turn on the water and wait. Make sure the valve is set to off on the far end of the hose and it grows…. and grows! It did exactly as promised and is a great length for my needs, seems pretty durable and well made too.
I have always been against hose pipes unless really needed, but i wish i had brought one of these years ago.
When you’re finished, disconnect and the hose shrinks back down to a nice compact light size. Awesome. I cant wait to try out the spray fitting 😀

Mine does leak a bit at the spout but that could be an issue with the adapter my landlord stuck on… The water pressure is good though and it is entertaining watching the hose expand and retract!
I bought the hose a year ago and it’s been fantastic for watering the garden filling the paddling pool etc
The hose expands when you turn on the tap so when not in use it takes up very little space and it’s very lightweight unlike a traditional hose that kinks and is a pain to store. There are multiple spray patterns within the gun handle and it all fits snugly in a draw string bag.
I had an issue with my hose recently when a leak developed, the retailer were fantastic and replaced the hose free of charge due to its twelve month guarantee!!

Brilliant product! This hose arrived in a really small package and I was worried because I couldn’t imagine that the hose would be any good due to its weight and size? But I was pleasantly surprised when I got it out and attached to the tap it was so easy to use and extended as soon as it was filled with water. The gun is great with so many different options which mean you don’t damage any flowers when watering. My kids have loved playing with this hose whilst it’s been sunny outside – hours of fun!! When it’s time to put it away, you simply let the water out, it reduces to its original size and fits easily back into the little bag! Overall a great hose for a great price, I’m just hoping it will last.
The push-fit connectors do not leak and the hose does what it is supposed to do.
The only gripe I have is that with the Hozelock the fitted connctors were stop flow connectors, so I could change spraying tools when washing the car (snow foam and spray gun) whereas this hose does not have that feature which is a bit of an annoyance.

I will continue to marvel at the wonders of this new hose. Like the old one it recoils in a comedic manner when you turn off the faucet (tap) and expands in an anaconda type wriggle when you turn on the faucet (tap).
I must remember to bring this one in over the winter though.

This is beyond a fantastic piece of equipment it almost triples in size thanks to the design construction. It barely tangles up and causes a mess and thanks to the provided hose sprayer you get an out of the box experience. All the fittings are provided to hook this up to a pressure washer, wall fitting or alternative equipment.
