Good firm memory foam base, haven’t washed yet but easy to run the hoover over it and wipe with a damp cloth to get all the fur off

This bed provides excellent support for my arthritic whippet, she sleeps a lot better than she used to without having to keep getting up to change position. The fleece cover on top is soft but a little thin for her so I’ve had to line it with a blanket for extra warmth, other than that it is an excellent bed which i would definitely buy again for another dog

Initially hesitant to you because memory foam a little hard but after a couple of visits loves it and curls up and snores away

I bought this bed just over 2 years ago. The bed is very well made. I still remember how well it was packed on delivery. The covers washes well and still looks like almost new. I’ve tried and tested quite a few “high end” expensive beds, but this is the best of all of them. I wish I provided my review a bit sooner, but at least this is now well tested product on several dogs. I am going to buy another one as a present for a family dog.

Got this bed for my 13year old arthritic Malamute dog. Opened packaging and mattress almost sprung up straight away . Put the bed together the next day . Admittedly looked slightly different to picture . But did not want rigid sides for her bed- she can rest her neck and head on the sides and be comfortable. Well made and thought out . My dog was hesitant at first but once she tried it she loves it. Mattress feels hard but could see it moulding to her shape for comfort . Bought an xlarge for her and she can stretch out fully if she wants to. Not been washed yet so can not comment on that side. Happy I invested in this bed. Highly recommend

I bought this for our 7yo dog who has hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis. She has slept on duvet beds until now but I was recommended by colleagues to get her an orthopaedic mattress as she’s been on- and-off lame over the last few months. I liked the packing in a vacuum wrap. It was easy to undo with the string closure and quickly expanded to full size once opened, but we left it to air out fully for 48 hours as recommended. It looks very comfortable and my husband tested it out and loved it (see photo!), but I’m not sure our dog finds it so good, to be honest. The cushioned edges are lovely but the base mattress is VERY solid!! She weighs less than 15kg and I feel it appears she’s lying “on top” of it like a hard board, rather than getting snug and cuddling into it. She fidgets quite a lot, as if trying to get comfortable, which isn’t normal for her! It may just take her a while to get used to the different surface but I may add a softer top layer in the bed to resolve the issue. At least she’ll still have the firm support underneath.

    A great looking dog bed

My husband didn’t want to part with an old bed from his previous dog but it was time to send love to our new dog, a medium size black lab!
This bed is wonderful. Memory foam is sturdy but moulding to her shape. She can stretch out over the sides , she looks like she’s in he zen place when she’s sleeping. I did think the foam might have expanded a bit higher around the sides but it okay and does the job. It’s heavy so doesn’t move on a wooden floor. I do put a blanket over it to protect it from the mud , easier to keep clean than cleaning the bed. Great produc

Have been looking for over a year for a good-sized , comfortable, washable bed.
So much research has been involved in the development of this product: every part of it unzips and is washable (except for the super-comfy mattress), the bolster is super-comfortable and perfect – all the dogs I’ve known want a cushion/bolster to rest their head on and the bottom is anti-slip. My dog loved it from the moment I unwrapped it.
Good to know there is a great range of sizes available too.
The previous brand I used to buy no longer offer removable and washable covers so I am delighted to have discovered Joyelf! More expensive but totally worth it, thank you.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis bed is so comfortable I could prob sleep in it myself. The memory foam is nice and firm but not to hard. The cushion cover area is furry and soft. I have a big staffy so I ordered the XL and he can stretch out in it nicely with plenty of room. I will be buying another to replace his bed he sleeps in the lounge

I bought this for my giant schnauzer who’s spoilt rotten. He has an XXL ‘The Dog’s Bed’ as his overnight bed but needed an additional bed for the office. This arrived promptly, and the memory foam insert steadily increased in volume after I’d opened it. I left it for 3 days to be sure and – while it’s not huge, it certainly does work well for the bed. Once I’d placed it inside, the bed resembled the photo well.
The dog took to it immediately and now prefers it to his lounge bed! Strongly considering buying a second.

A very good supportive bed especially good for an older dogs joints. The cover comes off easily so washing it is easy . I’ve got two , one for each dog , the smaller dog has a fleece inside as well as he prefers to snuggle down as the base is one block that is quite firm . I have a smallish Labrador and the large size is good for him and small bed is a good for my jack Russel.

The dog was very happy to immediately lay in the new bed. The mattress is very firm and GREAT for a dog recovering from surgery for 12 weeks.
It would have been good to have known that the bed could not be used immediately because the rim needed to inflate for 2 days.

It is very well made – it was expensive but looks quality and most importantly Eddy loves it. He actually sleeps in it most of the night. We tried all sorts of baskets/beds with or without pillows but he rarely stayed asleep for more than an hour before he roamed the room looking for another spot to lie in. If he does get out of this bed he normally returns to it within 10 minutes. Eddy weighs 13kg but likes to stretch out and take toys to bed so the medium size was a very good fit. Very pleased I made this choice and the quality suggests it will last Eddy for the rest of his life

At last a bed Eddy loves

This is the second one I’ve bought, first one is still going strong 18 months after purchase. It’s a very comfortable bed, easy to clean, & durable. The mattress is like a memory foam & retains shape & depth well. Most importantly, the dogs love them!

The main mattress of this bed is absolutely fantastic – a really good quality memory foam. It is much firmer than our previous ‘egg crate’ type dog bed which I think it excellent, although one of our dogs is not such a fan now.
The sides however are not particularly supportive and are easily pushed down. They definitely don’t sit as tight to the bed as the product picture shows – see my photo for the reality.
Having said this, I still think it’s a really good bed. The design could be tweaked, but I’d still recommend. This bed was a present for my parents’ dogs, but I will be buying another for my own dog.

Mattress fantastic; sides not very supportive

We bought an XL one for our big dog and the cats love it too. So we bought a smaller one for the little dog but he rarely gets a look in. It’s very comfortable, they love it. Great quality. Almost Tempur style mattress.

    Fabulous product.

I’ve had this for 3 months now and even though I’ve got a new puppy, the bed still looks like new. It’s very well made. It’s been dug in, chewed and dragged across the room but it’s kept its shape and doesn’t look all battered.

My Cockapoo loves stretching out on it and resting her head on the sides. It’s more comfortable that my own bed with it’s soft fleece cover and memory foam mattress.

I can’t comment on how it washes though, as even though it’s base is a light colour, it hasn’t got dirty as I bath my dog regularly, so it hasn’t got smelly, so it hasn’t needed washing yet.

It looks like this bed should last for a long time, so I’m so glad that I spent a bit more money. It will work out less in the end than having to replace cheap rubbish.

I bought the large for my Cockapoo, and even though she’s not yet fully grown, it should be plenty big enough for when she is.

    Dog loves it!

I originally bought the large one for my Springer puppy. Unfortunately he’s on crate rest after an operation and it was getting a bit smelly, but knowing how brilliantly it washed, I ordered the medium one. I think the larger looks more comfortable but the medium is also good for his size so far and for the foreseeable future. They wash and dry very quickly and easily and look as good as new. It’s great to have a spare incase of accidents. It’s withstood any chewing and he looks super cosy in it. Very often my kids will get in with him and I must admit, I’ve snuggled him on it too. I wouldn’t mind a human version!!! Highly recommended. 10/10

This XL bed is great for my vizsla’s 42inch EllieBo crate. It fits perfectly and makes it super comfy. Love that the base is waterproof, the cover can be washed and you can buy extra covers (it’s also really easy to swap them over). My pup had dug through/ chewed through his first bed and we could hear him digging in it at night, probably trying to get comfy. He’d been able to break down the internal cushions for that (which meant I covered the bolsters in duct tape) and the zips broke which meant I could no longer wash it, and it was getting pretty funky. So durability, decent zips, ease of washing and fitting the crate were my main criteria. Whilst this bed was probably double the price of the first, and after it’s first month I’m very certain it’s going to last more than 4months like that one. The foam is firm but comfy so no need to dig, it’s heavy too so he can’t pick it up like he could before. The zips being tucked under the bolster and under a flap for the base mean they’re out of the way for paws and teeth too. It takes ages to find a decent bed with the right dimensions for a crate, so I’d highly recommend this one!

    Super cosy bed

Really excellent product. Can’t recommend highly enough. My dog adores it. So comfortable – she can stretch out or curl up, put her head along the sides. It’s robust and looks far more expensive than it is. I have bought three over the years – we have two homes so she has several. All are as good as the day I bought them.

My dog loves this bed! She loves to sprawl out when she’s asleep so this bed was the perfect size for her as it allows room for her as she grows as she’s only 10months at the moment.

Dog loves it . The large is just right for a 32 kilo Labrador without taking up too much floor space. Easy to wash and remove the mattress and the separate roll that keeps the sides up BUT it’s a pain in the ars* trying to zip that roll back in. A real struggle with the chance of breaking the zip.

    The dogs happy

I’d easily say the BEST bed on the market! Ridiculously comfortable and realllllly durable! I have a husky pup so bitting is a thing lol I went for a XL which as a pup is perfect size for her and her toys with plenty of room to spare. Even full grown I reckon it will be fine but I’d likely get the next size up when she’s bigger just to get a fresh one and give her more room. I haven’t cleaned it yet (still new) but tbh I don’t think it will be a problem. Definitely recommend!

*UPDATE.. have had a couple washes now, definitely easy.

Only one downside for me which is, it’s not as water proof as I’d liked. Puppy had a little accident in bed and it went through to the core, even beyond the mattress water proof cover? So I had to hand clean the actual mattress itself. Improve on that and it’s 100% perfect.

    Still a RECOMMEND buy

The bed is very easy to clean, very soft materials that don’t leave fluff everywhere like others I’ve had. My senior dog loves the memory foam mattress. She used to jump on our bed halfway through the night but stopped the day we got this bed. The mattress has stayed firm even after 6 months constant use (day & night). Doesn’t sag in parts or go misshapen. Very pleased with it.

My 4 month working cocker spaniel love to stretch out in bed so I ordered this is a large and it’s perfect for him, he loves it!, it’s easy to clean and is soft and comfy, definitely worth the money, can’t see me having to replace this for a long long time, took around 2 hours for the memory foam bottom to get to its right size and is so easy to slip the bottom in,
    Overall just a great bed!

Excellent quality dog bed – well made – and our older arthritic lab was very happy with it the minute it came out of box! (Now sound asleep in it where it came out of box). Our lab weighs 32kilos … so I might have bought next size up but this size allows for nice snuggling – so difficult to know – as it’s such a good product however might get a new larger version for our younger lab so there’s one of each ! Love the thoughtful firm outer rim as dogs always like to rest their head on a rim (those horrid plastic beds with thin rim or the flat mats don’t allow for this).

I bought this dog bed because we had been through several from pet shops which would only last a few months before the padding/ sides would compress and miss shape. We’ve had this dog bed a couple of years now and I can honestly say it’s the best one we’ve had, and our Labrador/ Staffie cross loves it. There’s no tears in the fabric at all/ our dog likes to “make her bed” by clawing at it. It’s a bit of a pain to get the stuffing back inside if you’ve taken it apart to wash, but apart from that no other negatives I can think of!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe bought this bed in XXL for our Border Collie/ Husky cross as she likes to stretch out and her old bed kept her in a little ball. The bed itself is better than expected, it comes with a second layer where you put the memory foam mattress in and it’s so soft. It came very well packaged in a cute love heart canvas bag (not reusable but so nice) and a complimentary little toy for the pup, which she was more interested in than the bed!! Very very much worth the price, fast delivery, well packaged and the product is better than expected. Thank you!!

It took our 10yr old labrador a few weeks to accept this new bed possibly because of the memory foam mattress. Her old bed had a very soft mattress which I felt wasn’t good for her arthritic hips whereas the memory foam is firm. She’s now quite happy with it and I’m hoping it will help her. The only thing I would have preferred is higher sides.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHaving already purchased the XL size for my 10 years old Labrador and seeing how he has taken to it, bought this, slightly smaller, version for my 10 year old Lab/Collie cross. He has also taken to the bed although he does like to throw his blankets off during the night. You can physically feel the support the bottom cushion of the bed provides and the side walls are standing up well to the weight of dog lying on them. Extremely pleased with my purchase, which may seem a little dearer than others but you get what you pay for so for me, great value as they are providing exactly what I wanted.

Be aware that this dog bed has a cream coloured sleeping surface so will have to be washed quite often. To reduce this I lined the bed with the dog’s previous quilt. Knocked a star off due to this. Should be ok to clean when required as all washable with removable foam inserts in edges and base. Very supportive and comfortable for my aging Staffy which is why it was bought. Quite pricey but she’s worth it!!!

This bed was an upgrade for my dog’s previous crate cushion. My dog has recently turned 7 years old so I was looking for a more comfortable option to have in his crate since he really enjoys sleeping in there. This bed fits perfectly in his crate and is super comfortable, he has plenty of room to stretch out but also cosy corners for him to cuddle into. The bed has a soft, fleecy lining that surprisingly stays very clean despite the light colour! It was easy to assemble with clear instructions and easy to disassemble the bottom lining for easy washing.

    Super Comfortable!

This is defiantly a comfortable bed that adds great character to the room and your dog will love sleeping on it.
The only floor is that this is not a play bed for your dogs, so if they rolling and going crazy in the beds like they do the bed spits them dog out.. HAHAHA it truly is a sceptical for you to watch.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI received the dog bed on Wednesday. From first view it is naturally difficult to come to a realistic view on this bed, when it has been vacuum packed for the purpose of delivery and doesn’t, therefore look like the pic on website.

The instructions suggested to allow the memory foam mattress and buffer to expand to their full size for approx 2 days. I took the outer part of the bed and the foam mattress upstairs and laid them out separately on my bed, with plans to check later on in the evening to see how much they had expanded. I checked later in the evening and found the memory foam mattress had now expanded from 1″ to 1.5″ up to around 3″, which was the size quoted in the Amazon description. The memory foam also felt nice and firm. The buffer also had expanded well.

As described in the instructions I then inserted the memory foam mattress into the rectangular space at the base of the bed, accessible by a zip. It was a nice tight fit and now the bed was beginning to look more like the pic on Amazon as opposed to my first pic in this review.

I then got our dog to try the bed out. Pleased to say she loved it and began to roll around in glee. Our dog has now spent 3 nights in the bed. The bed is still looking as firm as it did on Wednesday and I am still 100% happy with this bed.

I would most definitely recommend this bed to anyone who is wanting to buy a decent quality dog bed. I do struggle to comprehend the negative reviews which appear to have pics of the bed before expansion, which are not a true representation of the end product as you will see when you compare my first pic with pic 3, when my bed had expanded to the right size.

I had to include the last two pics showing our dog in the bed and looking nice and cosy in the last pic.

The positives about this bed are

    1. You can buy a replacement memory foam should the need arise.
    2. The outer part of the bed is completely washable, after removal of the foam mattress and buffer. Full instructions are given for preparation for washing.
    3. The memory foam mattress has a waterproof cover on the upper side to protect from accidents, which is good to know for owners with older dogs.

My dogs just love it. Bought for my older dog and now she has to share with the younger dog. We are considering buying a bigger size for having them both using! The most impressive thing is that is looks nice and it keeps the shape as well. Bough another one that after we open the packaged it was too soft and lost shape at the same day. This one seems really comfortable and is still looking nice and in shape!

When this came packaged I couldn’t believe how small it was! I bought it for him for Christmas but was a little concerned about the size so I decided to open it up straight away.
All I can say is he jumped straight into it before I’d even done the zip up and just stayed there for ages!
The big plus for me is that all the covers are removable and washable.
Yes the sides aren’t as high as my last one and it’s also a lot bigger, so he does look a bit lost in it as I bought the Large, but now when he lies on his back and stretches out he has plenty of room.
A very good quality dog bed compared to his old one from a well known pet store.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally impressed with the quality, the memory foam seems really comfortable for my dogs. Only issue is the large size is quite a bit too small for my German Shepherd. My fault for ordering this size though. Other than that seems a very nice dog bed.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this for our 2 standard dachshunds who have spent 11years turning dog beds and rooms into a Narnia winter wonderland by pulling stuffing out.
    NOT THIS BED

They settle into it and are very comfy by the looks of things, choosing to be in it during the day. I got the biggest bed

However the last 24hrs with a poorly sickly dog has proved what a fantastic bed this is. So easy to remove cushion and mattress and wash the cover in the machine. Mattress has a waterproof cover so easy to deal with if accidents happen.
I did ignore the wash label and tumble dry on a cool setting and had the bed back in use by lunchtime after a sickly start to the morning. No shrinkage.

    Amazing bed.

+Just a note when putting the cushion back in, it has a thin part to it that goes at the front of the bed so the dogs can get in easily.

This bed is fabulous, or at least it looks beautifully soft, cosy and comfy, sadly our soppy puppy wont use it – but prefers to sleep on the piece of artificial grass we got for the loo at night (she wont even wee on that)
To be fair I’ve not had to clean the bed as all she does is jump in and straight out again. However, the free bone you sent us with the bed, she LOVES and that cleans up well, so a big thank you for that. Hopefully as she gets older she might use it? thats what I’m hoping anyway!

The product came vacuum packed so minimal packaging which was a plus. The photo shows the memory foam inner part about 5 mins after unwrapping but even at this point I thought it was good quality and a huge improvement on his previous bed. As with any memory foam it does get warm underneath him once he’s been in there for a while but now it’s getting colder this is fine – might need a cooling mat in the summer. I’d agree with other reviews that the side cushions are not that supportive, as you can see when he’s leaning against that part. However, compared to everything we’d seen in shops I think this is a really excellent bed for what we paid and would buy it again.

    Good value for money

The bed arrived a day early which was brilliant as it was my girls 9th birthday. While unpacking she soon got hold of the toy bone and once I had assembled the bed she was laying across it playing with the bone – great! The bed looks really comfy but when my lab got in it to sleep the sides didn’t seem as high as I thought they would be or give her much support. Also, the mattress was thinner than expected and rather harder than expected. I bought the biggest size and she fits but to be honest I would only buy this bed for smaller dogs. The overall quality seems good.

    A bit disappointed

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the best bed my dog has ever had and I am speaking on his behalf.
Through trial and error we have tried so many different dog beds throughout the time we had him and now more than ever it was important to find the right one to support his joints and his fragile bones because he has become a senior dog.
This bed is it. This is the bed you want to get for your dog. The comfiest of all dog beds out there which supports your dogs bones, joints and happiness.
This bed is very thick, the memory foam is very good in it, we let it sit for around 3 days before letting our dog use it and that was the right thing to do because over those days it has thickened to the advertised size and when our dog rests in it it is clear that the bed does not sink and retains its thickness, we sat in it ourselves and the support this bed provides even at human weight is unreal!
For what you’re paying for this bed you are getting a bargain!
Our dog being a senior now has also had an accident on this bed within the first two weeks of getting it. Not his fault at all and it wasn’t a urinary accident either. It was so easy to strip the bed and wash it, wipe the mattress clean and it came out of the wash just as fluffy, just as soft and just as form fitting to the mattress as before. The easiness of this bed is amazing!
It has been a relatively long time now since we have purchased this bed and it is still as thick and as soft as it was originally and our dog adores it! He would previously complain and refuse to sleep in his old beds but ever since we got this one, he has never made a fuss!

Here are some pros and cons:
+ the price is extremely good for what you’re actually getting
+ the memory foam in this bed is perfect! It is such good quality that it offers full weight support for our border collie/Aussie cross and he looks so comfy and snug in it.
+ it comes with an adorable bone toy which squeaks and our dog sleeps with it in his bed to this day he adores it
+ the memory foam mattress does not sink to the floor when sat on by human and offers padding and support. If that’s the case for me then my dog must certainly be a lot comfier and it shows
+ the cover is so easy to clean and strip from the mattress, upon washing it it retains its softness and shape
+ the mattress comes in a waterproof covering on it which is so easy to wipe clean if an accident happens
+ the bed is very true to size but I would suggest going a size up if you would like for more room for your dog to stretch out. We ordered a Large for our border collie / Aussie cross and it is perfect and allows room to stretch out.

    – absolutely no cons, buy this bed!

If you’re wondering whether or not this bed is worth it, IT IS!

After allowing the mattress to settle when opened about 48 hours we put the mattress in the bed and gave it to our Georgie girl she appears to prefer it to her old bed ( non memory foam) we don’t know how easy it is to clean as she’s only been in it a few days and no accidents as yet ! The mattress is covered in a plastic cover so I guess that parts waterproof but as for comfort I’m sure it’s very comfortable judging by how my girl is lying and using it. She’s 12.5 and has Dementia and other issues with her age so I got her this hoping to make her more comfortable and it appears to be doing just what we wanted well worth the money

    Well worth the purchase

My dog is a senior rescue dog, she has struggled with joint stiffness and I have been trying to find the perfect bed to give her comfort as other ones didn’t help. When I bought this Joyelf Memory Foam bed she ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! She has been so relaxed and sleeps peacefully in here. She has stayed in this bed longer than any other bed so I can tell she loves it. She doesn’t go on our sofa anymore she chooses her bed. The memory foam mattress inside helps comfort her joints. I bought the large bed for my staffy so she has space to stretch. I highly recommend this for any dog as it’s great quality and worth the price I paid. Just a quick note: when you buy it you need to let it have enough time to rise. Let it stand for a few hours and it’ll puff up 🙂

    MY DOG LOVES IT!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI don’t usually write reviews often, however this dog bed is worthy of one.
It arrived less than 24 hours after ordering through Amazon.
When it arrived the packaging was great, the bed and memory foam mattress has been vacuum packed. When opened out, the bed took shape almost straight away. It was easy to insert the mattress and I also noticed everything is easily accessible by zips to remove for washing.
My old staffie who suffers with bad arthritis never seems to take to any beds, he simply lays on the carpet and is usually very restless. However we lifted him into this new bed and he absolutely loves it.
He’s made himself very comfortable with the padded edging and is one happy old boy. The fabric and padding are fantastic. Softest bed he’s had yet very supportive and firm base for his arthritis.
    Would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy dog absolutely loves this bed. He has a different make elsewhere in house and if living room door shut where this bed is ya can see the disappointment in his face. The cat in the photo used to love sharing it too (he sadly at rainbow bridge….but the dog is definitely still with me.)
Only thing is , might get smaller one as it’s a bit big for a medium collie we got the large sized bed and had it 2 years now and after 3 washes is still going strong. Love hove easy it is to take the inners out to wash.
Do follow the instructions to air the mattress overnight before inserting, as it does need to be fully settled first.

I even sat in it to test how comfy it was and for a thin mattress it is surprisingly comfy.

Definitely recommend this to everyone if you want a bed that’s comfy and long lasting

Ordered a large for my 11yr old Staffy. He is about 21kgs so not small and although he usually curls up in his bed I wanted to get him a bed he could stretch out on, due to his new arthritis. It is raised off the floor so better for him but as you can see in the pics he can still slide his head off to cool down when he wants. It is very firm and I let it plump up for three days before he slept on it. Normally I get a high sided bed so this is a change, but he seems to like it so far.

    Great for my old boy

Bought this for our 10 week old boxer puppy, Tigerlily. As you can see, she is sleeping peacefully in her new bed and it has quite a bit of growing room left for her. This bed also fits perfectly into her 30in crate, so is very comfortable for travelling in the car and sleeping in the caravan! I was surprised at the tiny box it came in, but it soon puffed up after the vacuum packaging was removed. We are extremely happy with this bed, especially as it has Tigerlily’s seal of approval . Many thanks!

Tigerlily loves it! Thank you 😊

Hard (but not impossible) for my labs to pick up and carry about so hopefully will last a while longer as a result. Well made great value and the free toy a huge hit with my pack. Sides are quite low for a big dog. I bought two for use in the office rather than night time use. They stay tidy and therefore less of a trip hazard than beds that have separate mattresses. They are very snuggly soft and all 3 dogs love them.

Brought this for my dog who has a bulging disc. Unfortunately he didn’t take to the bed (mainly because hes very particular and doesn’t like change) but his brother who has no back issues loves it!!!
The large is big enough for my 10kg Border terrier to stretch out or big enough for both of my border terriers to curl up on it.
I think it feels lovely and wouldn’t mind it for myself!!

I bought 2 different orthopaedic beds for my American Bulldog who I’d say is medium size. While this particular bed I got is large, she fits it but there’s not much excess room. However our dog sprawls out in any bed and the fact she hasn’t moved from it since I opened it 4hrs ago clearly shows she loves it! Will definitely buy another when our new pup gets bigger.

Great but maybe order size up

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe’ve been struggling with my arthritic cat during lockdown, so I was on the lookout for an orthopedic mattress with arms so she can prop her self against the sides and shufty about without adding to her pain.
This one appealed because you can take it apart for cleaning, and it had fur-fabric arm cushions. The other bonuses of this one (the small one) was it can fit on one half of the double bed where a pillow goes (her normal sleeping spot) but it can also fit in her containment cage if I am not in the room. The size is perfect, I did think the area she sits in would be bigger so bear that in mind, but it is ample for a cat. In fact my other cat got in there with her for a while and it’s room enough for two cats.
The real test was on her comfort, she slept most of the night through with minimal shuftying about — for the first time in weeks she was comfortable, so that now her mood and demeanour after a proper sleep is very much improved.

I did notice some on here were critical that it didn’t look like the pics in the ad, but I suspect that is because it does come compression packed because it is a memory foam mattress, so you have to allow time for the mattress to re-inflate, and put it together, it’s not rocket science but stuffing it and shaping it might not be everyone’s strong suit. With the help of my vac nozzle, to gently tease out the corners, mine inflated in about 30 minutes.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought the xl for my 13yr old English pointer 34kg . This bed is really lovely and soft and a good size for him but unfortunately I couldn’t give it 5 stars because the edge buffers need double the amount of filling, this would help it keep its shape and then make it more like the advert. The memory foam on the bottom is a nice thickness and also has a cover before you put it into the bed cover, the bed looks easy to take apart and wash.(I haven’t washed it yet) As you can see from the pictures, the side he is leaning on is on the floor due to lack of filling, I’m going to see if I can add some filling to make the edges firmer. Overall it’s a lovely bed and I would recommend. Our old boy seems to love it.

A really lovely bed but needs more filling in the edges.

I think the sides could have been a bit firmer as him nose is on the floor at the moment , but he seems happy with it I’m sure someone is not going to want to get out of bed now.

Xxl is a great size for a GSD to stretch out on. My 12 year old pooch has arthritis in his knee and shoulder. The foam in the xxl size is very thick and comfortable for him. The material is good quality and the bed cover is easy to strip and machine wash.
I had previously bought lge size, which is too small for him to stretch out on, but had kept it as the quality is so good.
The photo shows large bed beside xxl.

Our old jack Russell needed a new bed as he was so stiff getting up from his round cushion. Medium is big, could for 2 more of him it there! It has helped with him being less stiff in the mornings for sure. He likes to rest his head on the corner. It’s been cleaned numerous times and still looks brand new. Covers zip off easily and back on once dry. Lovely and soft material round the edges.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI brought this bed in February of this year as my dog is 9 now and I thought the memory foam would be good for her joints as she ages. I am really impressed with this bed and believe it was definitely worth the money.
My dog has allergies and so requires bathing every two weeks and so I wash the bed every two weeks and other than it being a hit mishapen as I have not put the Padded edge in properly I am really happy with it.
It can be a bit difficult to get the padded edge back in but if two of you do it this makes it easier and can lead to plenty of laughs when the dog decides to get in the bed whilst your leaning your head in it to get the zip round the corners.
I believe the tightness is needed for the edges to stay supported but can give you a bit of a work out.
    Really impressed with this bed!

After our poor little Frenchie got a slipped disk and both back legs were paralysed, this bed has been a god send for him. Perfect height at the sides for him to rest his head and has made crate rest much easier and more comfortable for him. We came back and bought 2 more after this for other rooms in the house.

Super easy how the cover zips off to be washed. Also the little bone toy was such a cute addition.

Ordered this in large for my 2 pugs and they’ve loads of room. It arrived quickly and packaged really well. The memory foam base quickly moulded into shape and it’s got a good quality waterproof cover on it. The foam base fits in easily into the base of the bed and zips in. The remaining cover zips off so you can wash the whole thing with no stuffing parts etc, so very easy. A replacement cover would be really handy if they sell them. It’s pretty firm but that’s because its memory foam and my two are ultra happy with it. For spending a little more than the 40-50 than I normally would, this is well worth it. I would recommend it.

When received its in a vac pack so allow it to settle for a few hours. My little lad went straight into it and loved it. The memory pad is placed inside the soft layer via a zip on the side. Once in its secure and I am very happy with the product and presentation. Highly recommended.

They’re bigger than you think. I got a small for a pug (worried that it might even be too small for her), and you could actually fit about 2 and a half of her on it in the end. Its massive!

Its comfortable as well, she now chooses this bed over her other one. And even over sitting on the couch with my partner and I (which we’re feeling a little sad about!).

Super easy to wash. You just remove the outer liner. The memory foam comes in a waterproof cover that you can remove for cleaning as well.

All around, a very good bed. Very pleased with my purchase.

The bed came all compressed and rolled up. It needed approx 48hrs to decompress. The memory foam was a bit difficult to fit into the bed itself but it got there in the end.

Now I’m not one to complain but her bed is so much comfortable than mine that I’ve ended up falling asleep in it before and woke up to her looking down at me with look of indignity that I stole her bed for once. I should also mention I bought the bigger sized bed so it would fit the length of her should she want to stretch out.

Nevertheless it felt good to steal her bed for once rather than her constantly stealing mine.

She has a better bed than me!

We’ve been through one doggy bed after the next, always with the same result – getting ripped to shreds by our fox terrier. We ordered the medium size and it is slightly too large for her, with the result that she did not immediately take to it (less cozy), but within a few days had settled down and now uses it all the time. The outer shell is robust and is not affected by her frequent clawing at it. It has been a few weeks now and the Joyelf still looks as good as new.

A nice enough bed, dog (25kg staffie x) went straight to it and seems to like it. I got this as I wanted a supportive base as he has no hips and has been in lots of pain recently. The memory foam base isnt super thick, but is pretty firm. While he fits in the bed, he only just fits in it. I would call the large, medium as it is no way suitable for a large dog. Like if your dog is bigger than a big staffie then this will be too small. I was hoping it was 20% larger than it is. The small must only be suitable for handbag dogs. Quite expensive for what it is but it all comes apart for cleaning and looks to be suitably durable.

The larger is big enough for my 45kg American bulldog with bit of room to spare. I usually have to have the mattress beds for her but she likes the snug feeling of a cocoon bed.
The material is lovely and soft and even though my staffy has his own bed keeps sneaking into this so will be getting another.
I have taken off a star as even though it’s memory foam it isn’t very think or sturdy for a heavy dog. I had some spare memory foam cut offs so have added another layer (tight fit but room enough for another 2 inch foam layer) and it’s now amazing. If the foam was of better quality and thicker this bed would be perfect and would have given full star rating.

After reading a mixture of the reviews I was a little worried about what I would receive, this was alleviated when it product arrived. I was impressed by the quality and depth of the memory foam and the bolstering around the sides was bigger and firmer than some of the reviews would have you believe.

We bought this bed for our oldest girl, she is a Lab/Springer cross and about the size of a big Springer. She has arthritis in her hind leg and other beds just didn’t cushion her enough she seems to be very happy with her new bed.

My only negative for this bed is the size, if you buy a large bed I would expect it to fit a large dog, something like a German Shepherd, this isn’t the case her her, really a large is actually a medium.

Bought for my lhaso/cross breed following an operation.
The medium is plenty big enough for her to stretch out and relax and the edge makes a nice pillow.
I’ve given three stars for comfort as the memory foam is quite thin and hard and she didn’t settle until I’d put in a very thick soft large blanket. But that maybe personal choice,it just didn’t feel cosy.
It is sturdy and good quality and the covers can be washed so that’s another positive.
Slightly more expensive than very similar ones in the pet shop.
Overall I am pleased with it and hopefully she will enjoy it for a long time to come.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersUPDATE- I received fantastic customer service from this seller, even though it was past the return or exchange date they are sending out a new cover for the bed as it was faulty. They were very quick to sort it out for me. Brilliant service. Highly recommended.

I was initially happy with this bed, it is just the size I wanted, my dog loved it and seemed very well made. I have had it for 5 weeks and it needed a wash so as I went to take the cover off I noticed that the zip was split open on a large part of it (not where it’s supposed to open). My dog has not chewed it as he can’t get to it. I tried to fix the zip but it won’t go back together so it must be faulty. Now the cushion that goes in the zip part just falls out and there is no support on the sides. Very disappointed as it’s been a great bed until now. As of a few days ago it has gone past my return or exchange date so I’m now stuck with a faulty bed and for the price I paid I would expect it to last a lot longer than a few weeks.

Golden Review Award: 179 From Our UsersOur dog absolutely loves his new beds. We bought two because he is old and likes to go between rooms depending where we are and these have not disapointed. They take a few hours to plump up (more than the recommended time) but when they’re ready they’re perfect.
The bottom/base is stitched into the bed so doesn’t need constantly readjusting by me like other beds we’ve had when our little guy feels the need to have a dig and readjust things.
Also washing them is easy and because you can take the bottom cushion out, (accessed by a zip on the side) and side padding comes out (accesed by a zip inside the bed) so there is no loss of shape in the wash.
So very happy with this bed, I wish I’d found them years ago as usually dog beds are expensive and don’t wash well or last long at all.
