This is my first banjo so I do not have anything to compare it to. That being said, I’m very impressed. It stays in tune just fine, is even nicer looking in person than the pictures, and it was nice that they included so much other stuff with it.

Great beginer bango that i got for my husband for xmas. he has been wanting to learn and he loves this bango. he said he was researching them and this is the one he wanted. I read all reviews on so many of them and really just went by best review . I wasnt sure if 5 string or more or less strings and had to do a lot of googling since i know nothing about bangos. This was the jackpot according to my husband. thank god lol he loves it so much i had to share a review about it. he says its sturdy and plays well. everything you need to start out was there. i did read another review that suggested better strings so i did buy better strings and stuck them in with the rest of the things that came with it. and i have to say since december he has gotten good. he watches a guy on you tube that does lessons and it finally sounds like hes actually playing an actual song lol and its only been a month! and he never picked up a bango in his life!

    Bedankt Kmise.

Zeer goede banjolele voor een het geld

I agonized over which banjolele to get. I had $100 to spend and wanted to get the best one in that price point. I read about what to look for and read a ton of reviews. I also watched several YouTube video reviews. My last two picks were this Kmise banjolele or the Aklot in this price range. I decided to finally bite the bullet and get this one.

It has a great sound and it is surprisingly a very sturdy little instrument. I’m glad I got it!

My experience with my ukulele is that it takes about two weeks for the strings to settle down to keep the tuning and I have no doubt this will be the same case with this instrument.

I want to give a 5-star. But.the tuner doesn’t work well. It registered only my two low strings. It didn’t even pick up that my two higher strings were being plucked. I used my ukulele tuner and all is well for me. You may want to buy a meatier tuner (or use the free app GuitarTuna and use the ukulele setting).

Other than the tuner, don’t hesitate to consider this one. I think you will be happy with it.

From playing a guitar with in tune steel strings it gets a liitle annoying to retune each play time

A brilliant little banjolele I bought for my dad for Christmas it looks beautiful and you get lots of little extras with it well worth the money

The item was delivered on time and in immaculate condition, sounds great and plays with a lovely action on the neck.

The only fault is that the tuner it’s supplied with is not fit for purpose. I have to use a combination of the guitar and violin settings in order to tune the instrument, as the banjo setting doesn’t pick up the notes at all, regardless of where its placed on the instrument.

Otherwise no complaints with the instrument itself.

I have been playing ukelele for 2years ,self taught,I am no expert but was able to set the instrument up successfully.
I am enjoying playing and am learning to strum and pick tunes.

    Money well spent.

Banjo very good, only fault is the zipped bag included to take the accessories is awkward to open as zip sewn inside out so cant get to pull tab. Other than that good value .

The banjolele is good and what I expected. The tuner is not good. A tenor banjolele is tuned G,C,E,A but the tuner shows G,C,F,A. The tuning is E but the LCD display is bad. I just wonder how long before the rest of the notes read incorrectly. I can find nothing on Amazon for returning part of a package for replacement so I have a useless bit of kit.

Apart from the stap’s button that was broken, everything else seems ok. It would be nice to have a manual, 1-2 pages with instructions on how to set-up the banjolele (with some pictures as you do have here).

    Good for beginners

Always fancied learning banjo, but still learning guitar too… wanted a Uke or small guitar for travelling but this seemed the perfect combo. Really enjoy strumming uke style tunes (pretty easy to learn) but great as an intro to banjo rolls and picking. Great but, defo recommended and the extra bits you get are a bonus. Very happy with it!!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI love my banjolelo(banjo uke) I would normal of bought a musical instrument in a music shop so you can try before you buy but with the pandemic and lockdown I ordered this online through Amazon but need not of worried as it came perfectly packed wrapped and in the free case with the free starter pack under the banjolelo. The other thing I was worried about was that you had to install the floating bridge but before I ordered my banjolele I watch a video on YouTube a America woman she showed you how to put the floating bridge in you just wide down all the strings lose and use the measuring rule that you get with the banjolele I put the floating bridge in laid down through the strings on top of the drum and then gently lifed it up and put every string in the right silt and then tighted the strings and tuned them in with the electric tuner you get with it.I was also really impressed with the banjolele strap I love the design,I think it brilliant that it has three pockets for the pletrums and you get two clips I used one clip to fasten the bottom of the strap on a bar at the bottom of the drum and I fasten the strap round the top of the neck near the head.I have wanted one of these for years because I grew up watching the George formby films I already had a ukulele that I have played for a couple of years but I much prefer the banjolele sound this was a early birthday present to myself for my 40 and am really happy with my purchase.I ordered this Wednesday teatime and it was expected on the Sunday but I was pleasantly surprised when it came the next day on the Thursday.I have posted photos of my banjolele and also a video of me playing happy birthday on my banjolele to give people a idea how lovely this sounds.I would definitely recommend this musical instrument to anyone who wants to learn the banjolele.

Lovely made and definitely value for money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love this banjo. Great beginners banjo. The quality is better than I expected. I’m very impressed. Easy to set up. My advice, I would use a different tuner, the tuner that comes with the unit doesn’t pick up the notes very well. I used my guitar tuner and that made set up and tuning a whole lot easier. The finger picks that came with the banjo kept falling off my fingers and thumb, so I purchased plastic finger picks and that made playing so much easier. The strap works and looks good. The tools are adequate. The banjo arrived late but it was worth the wait and it arrived in perfect condition. The banjo looks amazing. I very happy I bought this.

The Kmise Banjolele was packaged particularly well to ensure it’s protection from damage. The item and accessories are exactly as I had hoped and it plays beautifully.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m not a great ukulele player by any means nor am I an instrument officianato… that being said, I really like this little banjo ukulele for my level of playing and the price. It was easy to set up in it’s basic form and is easy to play. After reading a few of the previous comments and looking about on YouTube I learned how to set up the intonation so that the instrument stays in tune well… not a difficult task, but a little fiddly. Play it for a while to stretch out the strings before you do fine tuning. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHad it almost a year. Should get it out more. Its pretty and comes with all the kit. I’m a completely and utterly skilless in the music department but have wanted one for years (partly due to the original green hero Kermit T. Frog and comedy old school genius Steve Martin)
I have mastered how to tune it and a 3 notes. Have found that I have to rely predominantly on uke tutorials for learning which has stunted some of my learning as the banjolele has a different kind of bridge so it’s not quite the same. But alas I will get there oneday.

After reading many reviews I chose the Kmise Banjolele, and up to now I haven’t been disappointed.

Aside from a minor delivery glitch (which Kmise sorted immediately) I have not one thing to complain about.

Everything was as it should be and the set up was really easy.

It’s not a top end instrument, but it wasn’t a top end price. That said, I think there is far more in this overall package than you would normally expect for the price.

I am no expert, and in Fact I am still just a beginner, but I am really enjoying playing this, and probably more than my Ukes at the moment

Great little instrument, great price and fantastic value for money.

    Would I recommend it?

Without a shadow of a doubt.

    Great value package

The banjo Uke came very well packaged. With all the accessories. The strings are taking quite a while to stretch. The tuners take a lot of turns to tune it up. The sound is loud enough that it can be heard with an accompanying guitar. All in all very pleased with i

I used to own an Ashbury banjolele, top of the range, around 350 new. Having read the reviews and watched some online I decided to go for this one. Only got it today but I’m over the moon! For the price, it’s excellent quality, looks great, sounds great, feels great. Obviously not a match for the Ashbury, but in this price range you simply couldn’t do better in my humble opinion.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersAn excellent sounding instrument for the price. I wanted a banjo sound as I already play a ukulele and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on an instrument I wasn’t sure about.
It’s easy to play and plenty of sound. I’ll probably take the back off and add a sponge to dampen down the sound a bit. The bag is not the best quality but you can easily buy a better one. Not tried the pickup yet. Some may want to lower the bridge a little but it’s ok for me. Set-up was easy with the bridge guide. The strings supplied are not the best so I’ve bought Aquilla New Nylgut ones, it’s much improved the tone. If I find I’m playing this more than my regular uke then I’ll probably upgrade to a better instrument. Many entry-level instruments are not satisfying to play, not so here.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is a great banjo ukulele……the instrument is very well made and with the extras it’s great value for money. It does need to be retuned regularly when you first get it but they soon settle in. All in all I’d recommend it.
