This is my first banjo so I do not have anything to compare it to. That being said, I’m very impressed. It stays in tune just fine, is even nicer looking in person than the pictures, and it was nice that they included so much other stuff with it.
Great beginer bango that i got for my husband for xmas. he has been wanting to learn and he loves this bango. he said he was researching them and this is the one he wanted. I read all reviews on so many of them and really just went by best review . I wasnt sure if 5 string or more or less strings and had to do a lot of googling since i know nothing about bangos. This was the jackpot according to my husband. thank god lol he loves it so much i had to share a review about it. he says its sturdy and plays well. everything you need to start out was there. i did read another review that suggested better strings so i did buy better strings and stuck them in with the rest of the things that came with it. and i have to say since december he has gotten good. he watches a guy on you tube that does lessons and it finally sounds like hes actually playing an actual song lol and its only been a month! and he never picked up a bango in his life!
Bedankt Kmise.
I agonized over which banjolele to get. I had $100 to spend and wanted to get the best one in that price point. I read about what to look for and read a ton of reviews. I also watched several YouTube video reviews. My last two picks were this Kmise banjolele or the Aklot in this price range. I decided to finally bite the bullet and get this one.
It has a great sound and it is surprisingly a very sturdy little instrument. I’m glad I got it!
My experience with my ukulele is that it takes about two weeks for the strings to settle down to keep the tuning and I have no doubt this will be the same case with this instrument.
I want to give a 5-star. But.the tuner doesn’t work well. It registered only my two low strings. It didn’t even pick up that my two higher strings were being plucked. I used my ukulele tuner and all is well for me. You may want to buy a meatier tuner (or use the free app GuitarTuna and use the ukulele setting).
Other than the tuner, don’t hesitate to consider this one. I think you will be happy with it.
Stap, not happy with no nuts to secure on banjo
Very nice looking instrument and easy to play even as a complete beginner like me sounds good to just like a banjo it’s solidly built so look after it will las
From playing a guitar with in tune steel strings it gets a liitle annoying to retune each play time
A brilliant little banjolele I bought for my dad for Christmas it looks beautiful and you get lots of little extras with it well worth the money
The item was delivered on time and in immaculate condition, sounds great and plays with a lovely action on the neck.
The only fault is that the tuner it’s supplied with is not fit for purpose. I have to use a combination of the guitar and violin settings in order to tune the instrument, as the banjo setting doesn’t pick up the notes at all, regardless of where its placed on the instrument.
Otherwise no complaints with the instrument itself.
Very pleased with this instrument I would have returned otherwise
Excellent value for money.
I have been playing ukelele for 2years ,self taught,I am no expert but was able to set the instrument up successfully.
I am enjoying playing and am learning to strum and pick tunes.
Great fun,love the sound.
Money well spent.
very banjo sound, I find good for the civil war songs
Banjo very good, only fault is the zipped bag included to take the accessories is awkward to open as zip sewn inside out so cant get to pull tab. Other than that good value .
The banjolele is good and what I expected. The tuner is not good. A tenor banjolele is tuned G,C,E,A but the tuner shows G,C,F,A. The tuning is E but the LCD display is bad. I just wonder how long before the rest of the notes read incorrectly. I can find nothing on Amazon for returning part of a package for replacement so I have a useless bit of kit.
Really great product. Needed help setting up. Only Is that there is no instruction manual with i
It is great only little thing I have found is the arm rest can not be adjusted
Apart from the stap’s button that was broken, everything else seems ok. It would be nice to have a manual, 1-2 pages with instructions on how to set-up the banjolele (with some pictures as you do have here).
Excellent value for money it’s my very first banjo and I’m really enjoying learning to play on it would recommend it for somebody who wants to play the banjo is a beginner.
Good quality , clear sound, slightly heavy, but overall a very good produc
Always fancied learning banjo, but still learning guitar too… wanted a Uke or small guitar for travelling but this seemed the perfect combo. Really enjoy strumming uke style tunes (pretty easy to learn) but great as an intro to banjo rolls and picking. Great but, defo recommended and the extra bits you get are a bonus. Very happy with it!!
Loved that within 15 mins I was playing music and smiling at everyone.
Super nice banjolele to start with, really great sound, great quality for the price love i
his is well worth the price..excellent quality and next day delivery 10/10
The Kmise Banjolele was packaged particularly well to ensure it’s protection from damage. The item and accessories are exactly as I had hoped and it plays beautifully.
It’s a present don’t know how it plays, but everything is as advertised and we’ll packaged
Very well made , great sound , im very pleased with my purchase . I wasn’t expecting much for what I payed , but was very wrong .
I have mastered how to tune it and a 3 notes. Have found that I have to rely predominantly on uke tutorials for learning which has stunted some of my learning as the banjolele has a different kind of bridge so it’s not quite the same. But alas I will get there oneday.
Nice instrument with a good tone. Not tried the pick-up yet.
In general a nice instrument.
After reading many reviews I chose the Kmise Banjolele, and up to now I haven’t been disappointed.
Aside from a minor delivery glitch (which Kmise sorted immediately) I have not one thing to complain about.
Everything was as it should be and the set up was really easy.
It’s not a top end instrument, but it wasn’t a top end price. That said, I think there is far more in this overall package than you would normally expect for the price.
I am no expert, and in Fact I am still just a beginner, but I am really enjoying playing this, and probably more than my Ukes at the moment
Great little instrument, great price and fantastic value for money.
Would I recommend it?
Without a shadow of a doubt.
The banjo Uke came very well packaged. With all the accessories. The strings are taking quite a while to stretch. The tuners take a lot of turns to tune it up. The sound is loud enough that it can be heard with an accompanying guitar. All in all very pleased with i
Good banjo for the price came with everything you need for a beginner. Would recommend
I used to own an Ashbury banjolele, top of the range, around 350 new. Having read the reviews and watched some online I decided to go for this one. Only got it today but I’m over the moon! For the price, it’s excellent quality, looks great, sounds great, feels great. Obviously not a match for the Ashbury, but in this price range you simply couldn’t do better in my humble opinion.
Ohhh! Beautiful I’m over the moon with it
Well made, just 1 problem no instructions how to fit electronic pick up
Excellent value for money, stays in tune well after settling down. Main body woodwork could have been a little more substantial but would have been a lot more expensive if it had been.
Superb Delivery
Well Packaged
Excellent Product
Great to do business with
Great product, good quality. All I have to do is master it!!
It’s easy to play and plenty of sound. I’ll probably take the back off and add a sponge to dampen down the sound a bit. The bag is not the best quality but you can easily buy a better one. Not tried the pickup yet. Some may want to lower the bridge a little but it’s ok for me. Set-up was easy with the bridge guide. The strings supplied are not the best so I’ve bought Aquilla New Nylgut ones, it’s much improved the tone. If I find I’m playing this more than my regular uke then I’ll probably upgrade to a better instrument. Many entry-level instruments are not satisfying to play, not so here.
