Sleep mode is fine as is the timer function and remote control. The fan is fairly quiet in operation so it doesn’t stop one sleeping. The display is quite bright in the darkness of night though but overall a good buy.
Time/sleep goes up in hourly segments which I feel 30 mins segments would be better. The fan is very good with a good breeze/flow nice and cool. I use it in my bedroom during the night and during the day when getting ready as I tend to get very hot. Do wish it was just a bit taller but overall good fan and I would recommend it.
Sleek and stylish this fan is super quiet and surprisingly powerful.
I chose this fan because our old tower fan gave up after 12 years during the UK summer heatwave 2022 (40C !). This time I wanted something taller, stronger and with remote control. I chose the Kuyal because it is 50W, was advertised as quiet and I like the look.
The new Kuyal fan arrived swiftly and the asembly was quick & easy – we only clicked together two half circles at the base and hand screw one big plastic knob.
The el. cable is only 130cm long and I wish it was a bit longer. In general the fan looks good with its blue light display, althoug it is a bit flimsy and wobbles when touched, but it doesn’t bother me at all.
While the fan is plugged in the socket and turned off – the display shows the room temperature blue number (25). While the fan is running, the display blue lights goes off after 1min. I would say that the temperature is not very accurate, because my room thermometer is showing 27C.
The fan gives a slight noise which goes up at higher speed. I must say that sometimes I hear buzzing sound, usually while the fan is oscilating and reach the turning end position. I use it at the lowest speed, standing on a carpet in the middle of room about 2m from my desk. I am switching between steady and oscilating. The air streem is pleasant.
The fan has a timer which goes up in whole numbers 1 to 15. I presume these are hours, but I have not used the timer yet. I use the fan only occasionally and operate it manually, but we will posibly use it at night if it gets hot, so will test the timer feature later.
I like the remote control which can be stored at the back of the fan holder while not used.
So far we have the fan only about 3 weeks and I have used it only occasionally, but overall it does work and the noice is acceptable. We will see if it stands the test of time.
Tip for the designers:
It would be great if the fan had thermostat function and could be set to automatically turn on at certain temperature. We have similar feature at the dehumidifier which turns on based on room humidity.
And I would add longer el. cable.
Very quiet on low fan speed setting ideal for bedroom while sleeping.
I let my 7yr put stickers on it to make it “pretty”
I’ve only used it once since I bought it, I like the wind mode so far as is so quiet too.
I use the fan in the living room and it has a very strong current which keeps the room lovely and cool. A very good purchase.
