This is an intuitive device that is easy to use thanks to the provided instructions. It also produces very helpful reports. It is quite comprehensive covering overtime working hours, time taken during breaks as well as regular normal working hours. This is a really helpful machine that has helped us transition from a books-based clocking system to a digital one. I was afraid a clocking machine would be too complicated.
My wife does a lot of crafting … Making various different items & for some bespoke things that she is asked to make she is often unsure of the time taken in doing something as she often “Hops” from one job to another .
Where this little gem comes in is that she can allocate a Timecard to a certain project and when she starts that project she just swipes the card & off she goes …. & swipes it again to finish. She then keeps the card with that project until the end. She therefore knows how much time she has spent & how much to charge.
It can be either Wall mounted or setup freestanding using the stand supplied . Just remove 1 screw from the back & slot it in.
It is a bit of a pain to set up the Departments & names e.t.c as using a number pad isn’t that intuitive. It’s not like the old texting on the phone days where you press the number several times to get the letter wanted, you have to select the range of letters you require & then press a button & then select the letter required and input the number above …. It does take some time to get your head around it. But once you do it’s o.k.
Only 4 of my timecards actually worked … one was giving no reading whatsoeverbut you can still setup different users using a number system e.g 1 – 20 & then they have their own numeric passcode to input. Or use the fingerprint scanner !!
When you want to look at the time used then you can view each users time on screen or simply plug in the supplied USB Stick & plug it into your laptop & import it into Excel.
When the unit is not being used you can get it to show screensavers which is a nice touch .
All in all a great unit let town slightly by the awful way of inputting text – A touch screen would have been so much better ! & the Dud Card I received .

Clocking in machine works well for a small business. Staff can clock in and out using either the fingerprint scanner, ID cards provided or PIN code. Fairly easy to install and setup and the instructions manual is easy to read through. You can also find videos online with more information. Good value machine with no monthly fees. You can download the data to your computer via the USB pen drive provided. The unit is powered by power supply. A couple of points to mention is that the power cable is fairly short and may need an extension lead. It doesn’t support Wifi and you will need to manually download the data.
I am really hapy you can get one of these from Amazon, with fast delivery and easy returns if needed. The product itself works just fine. I don’t have much to compare it to but I am perfectly satisfied. 5/5
If you are looking for a clocking in machine on a budget then this could be a good choice for you to go for. Once you get the hang of setting it up and how to export the data then it does exactly what it is designed to do.
I haven’t had any reliability problems with the machine and the fact that you don’t need to pay a subscription of have the internet to use it is a bonus.

Comes with everything you need. I like that you can plug it in via usb making it user friendly. Currently priced at 159.99 which seems reasonable seeing as the software is included. Works as advertised.
I get home help and although grateful have felt a little shortchanged by how long they are here for, with permission from the head office I set this up for my assistance workers to log the hours they were actually putting in and was surprised and annoyed that it was way less than they are charging for.
Cue change of worker attitude from friendly and helpful to a little less friendly, I guess nobody likes being told to do what they are being paid for.
Because as mentioned before my partner is the techhead it was relatively easy to get set up and have ready for the new workers who had no issue with clocking in and out and getting a readout of the hours worked, not everybody wants something for nothing luckily.
We felt that asking for fingerprint use each time for different workers would e invasive so went with the simple pin numbers instead which are on the wall depending on who comes in and so far the system works perfectly.
The number one selling point to be honest was that there are no fees as most of these machines seem to rely on monthly subscriptions for updates etc, I’m not sure on support options as we’ve experienced no problems yet.
The KYIDZON clocking in machine with free software is great for helping me keep track of my employee’s hours. It auto calculates everything, which is handy as working out overtime and work hour/deduct lunch are no longer needed to be calculated manually. It’s a great time saver for me.
The machine itself was really easy to set up and the video guide was very useful. Setting up the fingerprints for the staff was also really simple once I understood how to do it. I love that there is no monthly fee for this machine and the software. You also have the option of swipe cards, 5 are included in the box, also know as proximity badges.
Everything you need is in the box including wall mount, screws, clock machine and the software is embedded and you get a free flash drive to download the data. Setup is a little tricky on the machine for each employee, so you may need your IT dept to give you a hand. There is also a skype support and email on the instruction manual should you need extra support. Once it is done, it’s all straight forward. The employees’ clock in and out with their fingerprint.
You download the data from the machine onto the flash drive, then import to your local machine. It is all in excel format once you download. I would show you photos of my data but due to work rules, I cannot. It is not battery operated so it will need to be plugged in.
I’ve not used anything like this before so I have nothing to compare it to. So far, I think it is excellent as we have no fees. The one thing I do wish is that it was connectable over WIFI but the machine is solely autonomous, so if it breaks you are in trouble. We make sure we back it up once a day to ensure this, as you never know what could happen on the work site.
This machine is an ideal solution for a small business that wants to record attendance and overtime of the users accurately.
It’s very well made and I see no reason for it not to give good service, it does take a while to set up; the user manual is comprehensive and I suggest you take some time out to become familiar with the functions and how to operate the machine before setting it up permanently. There’s software to download, but everything seems to run well and it has numerous variations which allow flexibility with the users and it’s a great help for recording time attended without actually being on site. The other big bonus is that unlike some machines, there’s no monthly fee. After the upfront capital cost, that’s it. The customer service support is strong as well, so I can’t fault it.
First impressions are quite good the unit looks quite stable solid is nice having RF and fingerprint come over you only get certain amount of cards to depend on your workforce
Hi good instruction manual lots to read this isn’t a quick setup you need to really study download the software and take your time but still very pleased
I do like that I don’t have to be in the office all the time for people to be registered in and out as this gives me the freedom to work separately brilliant and with quite good data allows wages to be done correctly brilliant I will very pleased just takes a bit of time to understand brief other members

Quite impressed by this machine. It came with the time pre-set (although not to the UK time zone, but date and time was accurate for the time zone where it was manufactured) and it was really easy to change the time. Importantly, the ability to change time can be locked so that only a manager is able to access the configuration options. It comes with a small stand so can be wall mounted (fixing screws supplied) or freestanding on a desk.
User management was also very straightforward, with ability to assign fingerprint, card (5 included) or both. You can assign each user to a department (you can add new departments) and reports can be generated on very quickly and easily, downloadable to the included FAT-formatted 1GB memory stick (I haven’t seen one of those in a long time!) The menu system is a bit unintuitive as you select an option but then have to press Esc to go back, as which point it asks you if you want to keep the setting you just changed. Not perfect, but you get used to it.
It is small and unobtrusive, measuring about 16 x 13cm. Although it has a battery backup, this in sonly for preserving the time settings in case of power loss. The included DC adapter is 5v and the whole unit runs at 1.5W, meaning it will use around 1.08 kWh in a 30 day month, or around 1 unit of electricity per month with the colour screen permanently on and running 24h a day.
In truth, the only thing I can’t verify is the durability. It is very light, but having only had it a couple of weeks, it’s early to tell whether it will last. However, as a simple all in one solution to clocking in and out, it ticks all the other boxes for a SMB.

It is pretty straightforward in terms of setting up and uses, the fingerprint scanner seems to work seamlessly as well, and very detailed instructions are all good.

Machine was easy to set up for employees and also for a manager account so no one can get in to setting to manipulate hours .
Fingerprint sometimes needs to be re scanned but usually works with first time .
Easy to navigate menus and upload hours to usb stick which was included and easy to understand on spreadsheets.
The device itself is lightweight and pretty small and needs to be hard wired .
Overall great product for managing small business and having accurate no hassle system to save time counting hours .

This clocking in machine has been fab for my OH to use for his business and he found it very easy to set up. Its been well built as it’s strong, sturdy and durable so it’ll last a while all being well! It’s a decent size, responsive and lightweight. It’s been easy for him and his staff to use and it picks up their different fingerprints without any issues. The software works well, is easy to use and it’s handy that there isn’t any extra fees or licences to buy etc. it seems to be pretty accurate so far with both timings and calculations so it’ll help him streamline things at work. It does what it needs to do without any fuss so I recommend it and I think the value for money overall is great and it’s worth getting. It gets a thumbs up from us.

It’s great not to have monthly fees. It’s works with Apache Openoffice (which is also free) but I had to download 32bit Java for my 62bit windows.
The USB is came with wasn’t working (maybe it needed formatting) so I used my own SanDisk 32gb usb.
The whole thing was easy to set up (I’m very familiar with computers.).
We tried this out for a small cleaning business at one of our offices. It was fairly easy to install. There are videos online you can view to help with extracting data. There are a few different ways to punch in and out of the machine including pin and finger print and rfid cards which you can buy extra online if you need to.
It had a few teething problems with shifts but it will auto deduct breaks once set up. Everything can be exported as a CSV spreadsheet and you don’t need internet which is also a bonus.
The power supply cable is short. This was a problem for us. It also made a hum when we used the adaptor.
If you ar after a cheap clocking in and out solution then this will work fine. It’s not too difficult to get to grips with it either.
So far it powers up and was able to get it set up .login/logged out with my fingers print.

Our old paper card clocking machine was broken, so we are looking for digital solution which is no need paper cards or ribbons. Just read this clocking machine description and ordered it. There is user guide and video tutorial to help me for setup.Now we finished the first pay period , the reports are intuitive when compared with our previous paper card machine, including overtime working hours, regular working hours and there is a report for break time separately. Help me saving lot of time when making payroll,It is a great solution with affordable budget for small business like us.
