After having standard steam irons we decided to get something a bit better. Purchased the Laurastar as love the design and the fact it has a filter built in.
The iron itself is very heavy and took a little getting used to however this was soon outweighed with the results. Irons out difficult creases with ease.
One thing that isn’t great is the design of the water reservoir, it’s difficult to get on and off especially when full. Could do with a handle like a bucket as this would make refills a little earlier.
his is the best sister iron to its big brother – could not live without my LAURASTAR irons
bought this as a spare in case the big one has to go for repair one day – tried it out and it is the bees knees – have had the big one with the ironing board attached for two years now – LOVE IT – but then I love ironing :):):)

First time I bought Laurastar and compared to other brands that I used before (Tefal, Philips steam generator irons with similar price range ) , the Laurastar wins !
Really like the design & that it is easy to move around and store in a compact way.
Very cleverly designed.
Most importantly the ironing results are def better then the other brands I used in the past.
he ironing is a different class than main stream generators and the appliance is simply built to last. Unlikely I will ever buy anything else from now on.

Purchased during promotion, really worth the money. Half the price compared to our local price.
Tried a few weeks with other brand ironing board (meshed board). Works pretty fine. The steam is strong enough and dry.
Saw in store demo that it can iron folded jeans pants with just one go, somehow with my set up, I still need to iron 4 times as my previous dry iron does.
Hope that with some practice, it can help me reduce ironing time.
I should add the last one did not break down, I dropped it, that’s the reason I had to replace it.
