I have a dark back garden, and a black dog this torch enables me to watch her when she is out side
Best small torch I have ever had, really bright with variable size beam, well built metal body.
I have owned a trusty 4 Cell maglite for many years and thought I would never like another torch. This is small enough to fit in your glove box and gives much more light than my old and trusty maglite
I have purchased many torches over the years for use mainly for work. Whilst there are many decent brands my personal preference is for the LED Lenser brand. I have used Maglite, Gerber and 5.11 Tactical models. Whilst they all have pros and cons the LED Lenser for me gives the most consistent performance in terms of bright light and battery.
This model is a very handy size, it comes with an included pouch which whilst not fully enclosed does protect it from bumps and scratches. The pouch is sealed with a velcro strap over the torch and has a rear strap and is made of reasonably sturdy material. It will thread through Mol straps or fix onto a belt and is further secured with a metal popper.
The beam is adjustable by pulling the neck of the torch to focus it or backwards for a more floodlit effect. There is also a thin yet strong lanyard included to wrap around your hand or use as an alternative securing point.
The torch arrived in a branded box that would quite nicely serve as a gift. Price wise I purchased mine on a lightning deal for nearly half price and so value for money it is unbeatable.
Purchased this after seeing it on a Amazon flash sale.. I’ve got 3 types of this brand already and know it’s quality all the way!!!!! Us males, Aslong as we’ve got food in our stomachs and apart from the obvious, were only concerned in the 3 T,s. That’s trainers, Technologies and Torches…… I’ve through the years purchased them everywhere…. Hoping to find that one which ticks all the boxes….. Fill up at the petrol station and normally there’s one on sale there, you buy with hope, but when it gets dark and take it outside for its maiden switch on, its yet again a huge disappointment…… The LED LENSER T7T, is the best touch I’ve ever had…. It’s total quality. Comes with 4 batteries, a lanyard, pouch to store it in and also a small but very strong carrabeana clip on the back…… It really is the best make in our favourite collecting hobby…… You shall not be disappointed…. The light it gives off and the strong beam is absolutely fantastic…… Also, if you register your T7 you get a 7 year warranty….. All in all a totally brilliant touch………
This is a mega torch! Large coverage and the focus ring allows for more direct beams. It had several modes too for energy saving or flash modes.
Solid construction with metal casings and inners. A premium product for sure. It comes with a holster too.
I have spent a fortune over the years on supposedly robust, high performance torches with metal cases. They have provided the familiar dark spot surrounded by a halo if they have a zoom focus feature, and loose battery connections develop from poor build quality and larger batteries weakening the connection spring, causing light to become intermittent as the contact breaks.
This torch is surprisingly bright and clear, with four small batteries housed in a cartridge. It is also waterproof, and very compact. Just what I have needed for years. Buy it when on offer, for maximum value for money.
It’s a well made piece of kit and the No blank spot at the centre is a big improvement on the competition. If like me you have “how many torches does a man need ” coming from your significant other, then this is worth the eye rolling you’ll get.
And it comes in a pretty box too. Go on treat yourself
Very well made, got some heft on it when batteries are put in. Bright beam on it. Reminds me of the cop shows on t.v. with the solid round beam it can project. Should last a long time. Bought it for the ability to change power setting and the SOS feature, strobe etc. Got it the sale.
Wow! Bought to replace an aging Maglite and the difference is chalk and cheese. 1/3 the size, 10% of the weight and so much better. Bought on special offer for 30 ish – absolute bargain. Only down side is it won’t inflict as much pain if used as a self defence weapon like the Maglite but you could always disorientate people with strobe effect instead
Fantastic for the money. Great build quality and ability to focus the beam is incredibly handy and easy to do (can also lock the beam into place so that you cant accidently bump it)
Only mild downside is the battery capacity dosent seem to modulate so instead of just cutting out it slowly gets dimmer when the batterys are running low. They do last a long time though.
On the plus side you get 4 good duracel batteries included which is rare these days!
I lost this torch one evening after returning to our cabin outside of Troms, Norway. The temperature was -10 degrees celcius that evening, we had been up Storsteinen to see the northern lights and we used the torch to walk around the mountain a bit. When I returned to the cabin and parked in the 10cm thick snow, I couldn’t find the torch and assumed I must have left it somewhere. The next morning, as we drove away from the cabin, we saw a light shining in the snow. I had dropped the torch in the thick snow the previous evening, without realising, and when I drove off in the morning, I drove over it in the car, compacted it into the snow and switched it on. I rescued the torch from the snow, it doesn’t have a scratch on it and still works perfectly. What a great little torch.
Wouldn’t normally pay to get this for normal household use, but it was Black Friday and I justified getting it for myself based on that alone 😛
Great purchase
The Lenser 980 is a very solidly constructed torch. it’s relatively small and can be easily kept in a pocket or handbag but still carries a bit of weight for its size.
The beam is extremely bright but there is a setting which reduces the brightness and so conserves battery life and it is that setting I use the most as it is perfect for walking down the dark country lanes near me.
The torch also comes with other functions such as a Morse code SOS signal and a strobe light effect which I guess could be useful in self defence or in case you fancy an impromptu disco. Personally for self defence I think the standard beam is enough and due to the solid build quality I’d be quite happy hitting a mugger with this knowing that the torch would be fine afterwards!
It comes in a matt black presentation box which makes it eminently suitable for a gift.
A really good torch but be aware that the high power mode does eat the batteries fairly quickly. Perfect for camping, in the car, round the house and exploring drains (if that’s your bag).
Hi, I sent my first one back, as to get the Maximum light you need to touch the button but not so the torch is switched on. So if you press the button firmly the Maximum light comes on. The if you switch it all the way and let it go the brightnesses falls ever so slightly, the second press of the switch puts it in a dimmer mode. I don’t know if there is a way that you can turn the maximum brightness on and keep it on as if you have heavy fingers as I do you may miss that function. Apart from that the torch is a good, good weight, well made a beautiful piece of equipment, if you wan’t a good torch and your prepared to pay this much, so far so good you won’t be sorry.
The build quality on this torch is very good, and the beam is mega bright. Overall I’m really pleased with this item which I bought on sale during the Black Friday period. The only bad thing I would say about this torch is that the tactical end cap is likely to damage the button if it is used as hammer etc as suggested on the LED Lenser website. A great torch though.
A very well made torch with adjustable beam. Feels like it is engineered from stone! Nice compact size, absolutely unbeatable especially if you get it on a Black Friday deal as I did! Very happy with it.
Excellent torch, really cannot fault it, brightness for the size is excellent.
Despite showing less lumens than similarly sized and considerably cheaper Chinese counter parts – this is the real deal.
One handed focus has any maglite beaten hands down.
After the first use the tail cap mounted switch makes so sense – out of the way, no false clicks, solid and easily actuated even in gloves.
Really cannot fault this.
Even comes supplied with required AAA Duracell batteries.
Fantastic gift idea for any man/woman in your life who appreciates this kind of gadget.
Great bright clear light. So impressed that i brought number for myself and others as Christmas gifts for friends and family.
To start with I initially balked at the price. I could not conceive that any torch was worth that amount of money. I then researched why the company was brave enough to put itself at that price point. The claims are quite something. Something to live up to as well. When the torch went in a lightening sale for 31, I decided to take a chance. I knew it would be good or it was going back! Over the years I have bought maglites, torches of a million candles, mini torches, torches for camping, torches for ….well…just about everything. Each was OK in many ways, but weak in others. None were all rounders.
This torch takes AAA batteries and I like that because I always have them in and you can buy good batteries at fair prices. The fact the battery compartment comes out is excellent for me. No more fiddling trying to get the series of batteries to stay in place. The screwing and uncpscrewing of the battery compartment is solid, but not difficult. As I have arthritis in my hands, this is a big deal. I didn’t think I would care for the strap or the pouch. I have so many of that kind of stuff sitting in drawers, but actually both are very useful. The wrist strap is useful because the torch is light and small, so it is easy to let it go to open a door etc without thumping your wrist. The pouch is great as it is snug, but ergonomically well designed. It can be attached to a belt without undoing your belt, it has a clip, like a small karabiner and a strap with Velcro and a punch clip, so I don’t think it is coming off any time soon.
So to the light. They say it will work well up to 100m. They say there will be no shadow or black spot. They maintain the lumens mean nothing. All of this is not just true, you realise that your previous torches were deficient in all respects once this torch is turned on. It isn’t the light you expect from a torch. It is sharp, it is clear and it has both depth for detail and distance. My torch is used to get my hens, ducks and geese in from the field. Now, hens are hard to spot normally at dusk. No problem with this torch. It does shine the 100m, it really is as if someone turned a floodlight on, just for me. I can close coops, stables, open and shut gates…and see!
On reflection, this is a cheap torch. I won’t buy another one. I wish I had never bought all those cheaper ones before. They were a waste of money. To be fair, I will look after the torch because it was expensive, but it is sturdy and will take a fair battering. I am not worried about the rain or dropping it or even the animals standing on it…well save the zwarbles (very large sheep). As soon as I got my mitts on it I tried to buy a second one at the same price…nope … That is lightening deals for you. If Santa is listening…a keyring one would be great.
I have a degenerative genetic eye disease which is especially bad in dim or dark environments. This pocket torch has definitely helped me with its super light. Floodlight Power in your pocket.
Just received the T7. 2 torch, and initial impressions are very good. It arrived in a very smart presentation case, complete with batteries a wrist lanyard and quite a substantial holster. I cannot review battery life, but the output is akin to a light sabre!! There are three settings – off, high and low, and when focused the beam the high setting is very powerful, altering the focus produces more of a flat (wlde) flood light which is more than adequate to light an area whilst walking the dog. The torch is off a metal construction and feels nice and robust in the hand. Time will tell on the battery life but for now I’m most impressed.
Love it, had it about a year now. Lights up a room with no issues even on low, to be fair on high it can be too bright in an enclosed space!!
I found the pouch provided started to not stay closed after a month or two of constantly being on my belt so upgraded to a klickfast dock.
It’s been bashed around, dropped on to hard surfaces from height and still it continues to work with nothing but some slight marks round the front (which for 6ft to concrete lens first is damn good to me!!)
This is my second LED Lenser torch – I keep one in my toolbag and the other in my car.
They feel solid and well made and are nice and bright.
Absolutely delighted with this torch. I can’t review the battery life or durability as I’ve just received the item but it certainly looks very well made and robust and feels very comfortable to use…The design is also very smart. I thought this was a bit pricey for what I wanted to originally pay but I now think it’s worth the extra cash….I would definitely recommend this torch…
Pocket sized. Truly bright. Simply pull the head for a powerful spot or push head back for a bright flood.
Wanted a house torch and, also warned something compact enough to pick up from the hall stand and take in the car.
Amazing product. Amazing far reaching beam. This would also be great for dog walkers our people on shifts walking at night when Street lamps go off.
Excellent quality and build quality. Contacts are gold plated and it’s well put together. Unlike the P7.2, this torch was a twist lock head rather than a push pull one.
handy – very portable, powerful, very bright, can adjust to dim and different light modes such as flickering and sos. has a bit of weight but not an issue for me
Good LED Lenser Torch. Good quality. Arrived on time. As described. But chck out the P7.2 version before you opt for this. The difference is this torch has a stiffer locking thumb zoom. I prefer the P7.2 for easy focusing zoom, and more comfortable grip. But both are very good long lasting torches.
Was expecting a bright torch for the price and was not disappointed! The range and brightness are spectacular and I would highly recommend this torch!
Very good,compact and powerful torch.
Well built with various functions, replaceable parts.
Useful item to have in the car, house, out walking.
Happy to recommend.
As a replacement for its little brother, small enough to fit in your pocket if you don;t want to use the supplied pouch this torch is amazingly bright, there’s no way we’ll lose the dog on a dark night. Solid and well made hope it last as long as its made to look.
Great quality torch. Handy carry pouch that hooks over your belt. Great wide beam that can be focused incrementaly to reach further afield. Says it has 3 light settings – high, medium and low light but it has just 2 settings – high and medium
I know this isn’t a cheap torch for the given output compared to many of the 10 deals that are all over Amazon but this is an extremely well made item in comparison to some of those that I have tried (and broken). It feels precisely engineered with very fluid adjustment of the beam (diameter and length) and had a 7 year guarantee.
Also came with 4 x Duracell AAA batteries.
The gift box wasn’t necessary for me but it was marked when it arrived so if I had bought it as a gift I’d be disapointed!
Best torch i have ever purchased. Fantastic quality, incredible beam, very powerful and adjustable. Yet it fits in your pocket, forget the rest.. This is the BEST!!!
A well made torch with a bright beam spoiled by a darkish area in the centre of the beam. Very far reaching and suitable for most purposes. Not a fake if you buy from Amazon themselves. Registered mine a got a 7 year guarantee.
The best torch I’ve ever bought. Controllable and very well made. Used for camping and on the boat, is now my main torch and I wouldn’t be without it. Comes in a pretty cool box.
Amazing torch, bought at 30, worth the money. Not sure if I would pay more than that but it is certainly well constructed and does exactly what you would hope/expect it could do.
Easily the brightest torch I’ve ever used. The ‘wide light spread’ lights up a very wide area really well, and the narrow beam lights up things that are hundreds of metres away.
I like tells styling of the Tactical version of this torch as it’s much easier to grip.
If you are one of those sad middle age men who buy a lot of torches (yes, you…) then this may be for you. As a sad torch buyer myself I have bought rather a lot over the years, some better than others.
This unit has two stand-out features, which is just as well as it’s on the pricey side. Firstly the build quality is really excellent from the outside casing, lens system, to the battery pack (which typically are pretty poor on mass produced torches). The other thing is that the beam pattern is so flat and even that you could use it as a photographic light – there is virtually no hot spot. Even zoomed in, there is no sign of the normal distortion typical of LED torch beams. Brightness is very good too.
Personally this is my favourite LED torch so far and I may just have a look to see what else this company makes – just in case I ever need another torch!
Great torch, excellent brightness, nice medium size and good build quality. Adjustable beam size very handy.
Put in 4 x lithium AAA batteries to help prevent any possibility of alkaline batteries leaking or swelling when stored.
I had one of the older versions of this till I lost it and then bought this with a voucher.
Great torch and super bright for its small size. The push-pull zoom is really handy and much better and easier to use with gloves than the twist. It has two brightness settings – one click for very bright, an additional click for lower brightness, and a further click for off. I guess this is handy if you want to preserve the battery – not that it drains quickly this is an LED after all – but it has meant that a couple of times I’ve left it on in my pocket without noticing.
Good sophisticated torch. Flash light four times from off position with gentle half touch and then one full press, to switch between general modes.
Wow this torch is bright! I recently took this with me camping and for such a small torch using just a few AAA batteries it really is very good. The brightness is adjustable as well as the beam focus. It also has pulsing and rapid flash modes. Comes with a nice box and a carry pouch. Seems well made.
Powerful torch. Beam can be concentrated or wide. Battery life is surprisingly good for such a bright powerful torch. Worth the extra few quid. Very handy for camping trips.
This thing is basically one step away from being a light saber. I spend a fair amount of time in pitch black, underground storage areas and using this makes the world of difference. Super bright and using the focus will send a tight beam well over a hundred feet.
Great quality but not the brightest torch on the market. However the brighter torches can often be over driven and use custom rechargeable batteries. This torch is built to last and uses standard sized batteries which is a help. However I suspect that the peak brightness does begin to fall off quickly.
Very bright and seems to be well made. Zoom facility v good. Not able to stand upright on the cap, light pointing up, as the rubber on/off button protrudes from surround. Small point and not really an issue. Like.
Having owned a couple of police focus torches which were very tough – dropped one 3 floors down a lift shaft onto concrete and still was fine, I thought I would treat myself to this one. Lost both previous torches! Can’t say if it’s as rugged but it feels pretty much the same.
Very bright and easy to cycle through the modes.
Torch blinks to let you know that the batteries are getting low so you have plenty of time to get more and you will get through them!
I use this torch for work as a lift engineer and swap out the batteries weekly buts it’s a small price to pay for such a high lumen rate. Check out any dutty babylon you see and you will see they have this torch so that’s gotta tell you anything you need to know about reliability and durability. Hope I don’t lose this one!
When I first got this torch it was really bright, 6 months down and it’s still using the same batteries but it’s dimmed dramatically, Comes with a good carry pouch and box
Fantastic torch, super bright and very well built, controls are well placed and the case etc protects the torch well, yes you pay for Ledlenser but you get a premium product for your cash! Worth getting and recommended…
You may think why pay this much when there is so much cheaper on the market and then you use it and realise you were wrong. Excellent.
There are an awful lot of these kind of torches around, and some of them have clearly been a rip-off as far as the recipients are concerned. I went for this one as it had good reviews and wasn’t a too-cheap-to-be-believable price. I am not disappointed. I made the mistake of looking into the lens when I first switched it on and immediately regretted it as it is startlingly bright. I have no idea how many lumens it is, but I was seeing after-images for a long time afterwards. The built quality is very, very solid and satisfyingly chunky for a small torch. It is a tight fit in the supplied belt pouch, but that means it won’t come out accidentally.
We had some very high winds a few days later, and it very clearly illuminated the roof of my house from the end of my drive way so I could check for damage. The variable beam seems to work very nicely. The only thing I would says is that the instructions seem to have been translated from Korean to Klington and then to English, and I can’t follow the sequence of button pushes for the various settings. It’s very bright when I switch it on, and that’s the only factor I’m bothered about! Good torch 🙂
Sturdy torch that feels to be well-made using quality components. Auto power reduction is a useful feature. Could do with clearer instructions as to how to adjust the various lighting options.
I have several LED Lenser torches, having been introduced to them some years ago when one was purchased for me as a Christmas present.
This is the most powerful so far and is ideal when out with the dog at night on the local common. I have found over the years that if I do have any problems, and even these torches do occasionally, if I e-mail LEDCO they very swiftly sent what they think is the relevant spare part (e.g. a switch)
free of charge with the promise that they will repair the torch if that is not successful. Although they are quite expensive, I still think they are good value.
I love it. It’s the 4th Ledlenser that I bought in 2 years: this one for me plus another small one for my wife (nurse use), one for my mother and one for my in-laws. That’s how impressed and pleased I was with them, greatest value for money. Not big, not heavy.
This one in particular is very easy to use, absolutely not complicated and not hard to change the light types: as said by the others too, full press of the button goes to full power (very useful for big areas and for far distances), after that while full power press the button half way and gets the lower medium power, which is more than enough to go around the garden/yard, attic. In order to preserve the batteries I recommend to unscrew it’s bottom part where you put the batteries in, until cannot make contact and doesn’t turn on, this way the batteries are not in contact and will last longer. I keep it like that and when I need to use it, I just screw the back part back and there we go…
I definitely recommend it and would buy it again without regret at any time. For the record, I did not receive any of them for free nor for discounted price in exchange for a review. ….. I just like it.
Works very well. Wish it came with a rechargeable battery instead of using AAA batteries.
Super bright, high quality as you would expect from led lenser. Really like the different modes it comes with. Can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t benefit from this great piece of kit. Use the tactical setting when out at night for peace of mind.
I Have a number of Ledlenser products which I keep in the car, toolbox and house. Two of these. The light they produce is great as it the range of the beam. They make a great gift for blokes after all we all like a gadget. Amongst the ladies they too are popular lighting the stables and dog walks alike. Keep and eye open for special or black friday deals as on special offer they are great value for money.
Hard wearing torches, I’ve used LED Lenser torches for a while now. I’ve dropped them, kicked them, they’ve rolled about in the boot and been generally abused and still they work perfectly. I use them mounted on a rifle and even with a 6.5 round there has never been a flicker from them. I was a big Maglite fan but, these are more compact, lighter, brighter and more energy efficient. Well worth the money
Excellent torch. Expensive but the extra cost is noticable in the quality.
Some of the other reviews have highlighted that this can be set to a favoured output level.
The focusing is smooth and goes from very wide to very focused.
Also have an older T7 and its recently developed a fault. I bought this as a replacenent when noticed on a daily offer but having emailed Led Lenser feel i should also praise the customer service having had a genuine personal reply (not some automated generic holder email) and a replacement part in the post to me the same day.
New one comes with a 7 year warranty.
Brillia
Really good hand held/ pocket torch. I bought 2 for the wife and I.
This torch is amazing, with a strong metal design, very powerful & lots of settings.
Comes in a presentation box with strap and holdall with batteries to get you started
Excellent, I can see the quality in this torch over the clones. Although lower rated output than the clones the light just seems brighter and consistent.
Glad I went for quality.
Good little torch with handy belt pouch. Plenty bright enough for what I need! The Batteries it came with didn’t have much power so when replaced with Duracell’s top product it’s really goo!
Great power full torch with handy functions got a few other lenser torches but nut as good as this. A lot brightrr than my t7 that ive had for years had tp buy another one that good
Wasn’t sure about this at first due to the price, but took a chance on it.
This torch is great for my need of walking the dog at night. It’s really more than powerful enough and has a very good range when focused, wide angle is good for searching for the dog if he hasn’t gone too far.
The torch has a real quality feel to it, solid and a good weight for a small item, looks to be very well made and the whole thing has a nice feel about it when putting it back together after loading the batteries, it is well engineered. I would recommend this torch.
The torch is great however it is described as being 18cm long but it’s actually 13cm so a bit misleading
Wow, this is bright, do not shine it in anyone’s face unless you want to blind them! Had the L7 for a week when this came on sale. I dont regret paying a little more at all it is so sturdy and powerful. The push pull function for changing the beam is a really nice touch too if you need it in a hurry and its cold and wet.
A really good torch for the money. I use this for emergency services work and its invaluable. Powerful, heavy-duty design which will survive knocks, drops and scuffles. Fits in a standard flashlight pouch on a tac-vest.
4 AAA batteries and yet it’s astoundingly bright!.
I’m unsure how much use the extra flash features are as it’s a little fiddly to change between modes, but still brilliant torch.
Was looking for a bright LED torch, as it is pitch black in the evening when walking the dog. Ledlenser does the trick – amazing piece of kit.
Excellent torch with good build quality and high output. Output is actually as stated, which is not always the case with led torches. Switch is a bit fiddly due to various modes but you soon get use to it. Would buy a Led Lenser again.
Quality piece of kit and extremely powerful. If you like your gadgets you’ll love it.Only had it a couple of hours and just ordered the 17.2 for the hell of it.Would heartily recommend.
I am very possessive over this torch as it has become my household torch, my holiday torch, my cycling torch..
It is very good and very bright. It fits on my trails bike with an attachment and is perfect in that on roads you can use the half power setting and unlit areas on full power which is excellent as with the beam adjustment it lights up a wide field of view.
On holiday it is perfectly sized for carrying out on those dark beach walks and for lighting the walk back to the villa.
The ultimate torch! Bought this as a replacement for my old Ledlenser which unfortunately did not survive getting dropped onto concrete from a 40 mtr height. Have to say this is even better than my old one as it’s much simpler to change focus and I like the 2 power settings.
Touch is well made and reliable with an excellent white light. The belt pouch is great quality and stays in place. Great piece of kit for me at work and also good for knocking loudly on doors at 3 in the morning
This is the best torch I have ever owned, much brighter than many other claiming more lumens. High quality, nice in hand, appropriate weight and modes add to the many benefits, as well as being powered by your choice of alkaline or rechargeable ni-mh.
Absolutely fantastic torch. I’ve purchased numerous cheaper torches over the years, but this one beats them all hands down. And it’s a lot cheaper on Amazon than elsewhere too!
I’ve seen this model listed 70 elsewhere so was initially hesitant to order, as I expected a fake to arrive. In the end I took the plunge and I’m glad I did, as this is the real deal!
Great torch at a great price. Using this as a replacement for the police standard issue one we receive.
One small issue, it does not come with a ‘360 belt clip’ as advertised. I made Amazon aware of this who kindly offered a small discount, I believe they plan to update the product description as a few others have reported this as a problem.
Oh yeah, it’s very bright.
A nicer feel and slightly brighter and more powerful than my P7.2.
It has more function , such as strobe and SOS but I don’t think I’ll use these until the zombies take over the planet.
At 26.99 I couldn’t resist.
1 for the car and 1 for home.
The Apple of Torches. Just perfect.
Great torch, have just tried it out in the woods by my house.
Nice touch with the lock/unlock for the beam control, I cannot recommend this torch enough.
Great build & very bright, good price too.
I was supplied with one of these in work & having used it for a couple of months for working in electrical panels and roof voids I bought one for personnel use at home. Light beam is strong and can be zoomed for a more direct beam, excellent bit of kit.
Absolutely amazing item, would recommend to anyone, have a lot of mates who have shown mine to and have ordered from here, fast prompt delivery on all of thier orders too……would defo have another……if offering 🙂
Just what I expected though instructions to get advanced functions a little unclear but trial and error gets you there. I would recommend this.
Probably the best torch EVER! I’ve owned over the years many brands of spotlights but honestly, this blows them out of the water! Light, compact and certainly packs a punch! The features are very useful. Particularly the low power option if you just need a hand spotting your footing. Very robust build quality. With the bevel end cap for break glass purposes, because of the build quality, I actually believe this would fulfil its purposes. I wouldn’t hesitate in this purchase.
Second one I’ve bought, this one for my husband as he coveted mine when I got it last time there was a deal of the day, so when this one came up I jumped at the chance! Best torches we’ve ever owned.
Excellent torch, I use it every day at work. Compact but really bright and solidly built.
It did ship with duff batteries though. They were Duracell and in date but for some reason they didn’t work.
Solid, well engineered and extremely bright. A little fiddly to work out how to use all the modes but with a bit of patience and experimentation all worked out in the end! Expensive at full price but i purchased on a half price offer and therefore excellent value for money at 30.
A fantastic torch. Although the locking mechanism on mine doesnt work particularly well, I don’t use it anyway so it doesnt bother me. My friend also has one and his mechanism works perfectly.
Excellent torch. By far the best I have owned. So powerful and one handed flood to spot beam is handy. Thought it was a bit expensive for a torch but in use its worth every penny!
This is a fine torch with a bright, well defined beam. Two modes, full power and half power selected by pressing the button once then again. Off is a third press.
Great for lighting up the lanes where we live.
If you need hours of use then carry 4 more AAA batteries but low power mode is fine and lasts a long enough for most walks.
Tough little thing with the lens recessed a little.
A decent piece of kit. If I encounter any issues then I’ll post them.
Very very good product couldn’t believe how bright it was . Slightly heavy but if it’s on your belt it’s hardly noticeable . looks well made and feels like it can take a drop or too , in fact mind already has and still works fine .
Battery life seems to deteriorate quicker than it did with my old lenser torch. Also the narrow focus beam does not seem as tightly focused as previously.
Like the new twist and lock focus feature. Really well built as per usual and hoping to get five years service out of it as I did with my previous lenser.
Awesome torch, nice wide beam for close up work, bright 200m beam when zoomed down, all from four AAA battles that seem to last for ever.
Massive beam from such a small torch, excellent well made pouch, the belt loop has Velcro in inside so it fits snuggly on any width belt.
The pouch has a hole underneath also, allowing you to use the torch while still in the pouch which provides excellent protection if the situation requires it. All for less than 40 quid if you shop about, Love it.
Great torch, bright enough for any use and able to fit in your pocket or in the carry case on your belt. Ive combine mine with mount to my rifle for night shooting and has now replaced my bulky spotlight. Love i
Great bit of kit. I’m not sure if there is a better torch pound for pound on the market?
I had the T7 before which was good and this is better!
Best price and fast delivery thanks
The torch is excellent! Top notch. But the box was battered and scuffed, looked like it’d been used and a football and kicked around the warehouse.
Bought for myself so not an issue but if it was for a gift then I’d be very upset.
I already own one and wanted a second for my wife. No contest. This torch is very well made, is a good size in the hand, is easy to use and, most of all, throws the best beam I have seen. Not disappointed in any way.
