A review from my 10yr old son:
I love this lego set. It inspires enormous creativity and is easy to build with and amazingly playable. It’s also, because of its blocky appearance, like my mum’s lego sets from the 1980s that I like to build with. Simple, but great. It is good value for money and perfect for people who like minecraft and LEGO. I highly recommend this set.
Brought for my son as a birthday present. He loves it and found it great to make and loves it can be 2 different creates.
My little boy had this for Christmas and loves minecraft, he enjoyed building and its great you can take apart and build another set but feel compared to other Lego sets you didn’t get as much for your money, although Amazon was the cheapest I found!
This review is for the Lego Minecraft Crafting set.
First let me say this set is expensive for what it is. You could with a little effort collect together most of the pieces required from standard Lego, download the build guide and buy a smaller set to get the figures. The only difference would be the colour of the pieces and possibly your sanity.
The set allows the creation of two distinct models The house and a tower.
But what’s the fun in that?
As I say to my seven year old “It’s Lego baby so let the creative juices flow”.
Something your little masterbuilder may complain about is that the base of the scripted models is made of many smaller plates and therefore falls apart if it is moved around. I remedied this by using a spare large base plate under the smaller plates.
I award four stars.
