si quieres un sarten o un sarten tipo wok, de calidad, este cumple al 100%, no te vas a arrepentir, no es barato, para nada, pero te va a durar para toda la vida
I was looking for a wok that I would never have to replace, this definitely fits the bill!
This Wok is from an American Lodge apparently. This Wok is made from the Cast Iron Throne from Game of Thrones. This Wok will change your life. This Wok will redefine who you are as a human being. This Wok is the Way. Also this Wok makes really good popcorn. Buy it and season it by making popcorn and deep fried chicken.
If you prefer a cast-iron pan, don’t miss this one.
This Wok is awesome. The only reason I did not give it all 5 stars is because I had to use my glass lid off of my old electric wok. Even if it cost a little bit more, it should come with its own lid.
a donne vraiment le got de cuisiner. Vraiment trs bien.
AMAZING , this is a once lifetime purchase so it was time . very satisfied as always with lodge . couldn’t find it on sale paid full price but its the number 1 reviewed cast wok on the market . I highly recommend this product . I bought it for my induction plate so I hope its not too heavy . this is not small or light , check before you buy if it your size , remember you can always cook less amounts in a large pan but not more in a small pan .. enjoy .
This is the “Lodge” quality you always expect. Beautiful piece of cookware. This will last forever. Buy it!
The wife is like should
Of got this a long time ago I have her hooked on lodge it’s the best and made in the USA that’s all
We buy
I bought this for my wife and she uses it all the time, it works great and cooks well. Thanks Lodge for the great products and also for making them in the USA!!
After receiving this wok, I scrubbed it with soap and water because I don’t know how long it’s been in storage and the seasoned coating might be bad then I heated the wok and seasoned it with a new layer of cooking oil. I’ve been using it for a month now, food doesn’t stick and I only clean it with hot water then coat it with some oil after each use. It’s heavy since it’s cast iron but manageable. This is exactly what I want in a cast iron wok.
Bought slightly used wok and was surprised it was brand new right down to box. Nice looking but have not used yet.
Format ideal pour kamado classic. L’ours compar l’acier. Fait pour durer.
You can literally make any dish on this but beware it’s heavy but I feel like it could survive anything, maybe a meteor or an asteroid. It’s the best for even making Peruvian dishes!!
This is the most versatile piece of camp cook gear I own. I don’t leave home without it. I use it to fry with, I use it like a pot to make soup with and like most normal people use it I use it to stir fry with. This one was actually the third one I’ve purchased… I gave one away to my best friend who loves it. The only reason for the third one is because the one I use myself sunk to the bottom of the lake in a boating accident and it seems I can’t camp without one… I don’t use it for back packing obviously, but my friends love my cooking and it’s what I cook their favorite foods in.
We purchased an induction stove and our old wok wouldn’t work on it. I finally wanted to get a good wok and read the reviews. This one seemed to stand out. I looked at the Amazon ‘damaged’ section and found this…so I thought I’d give it a try, how can you damage cast iron? Well I was right! The box was a little dinged, but the Wok is like a work of art! I am absolutely thrilled at how good this cooks! If you have an induction stove and wanted a good wok, this is it. Heavy, easy to clean, smooth bottom so not to scratch the top. And you can’t beat the taste of a stir fry cooked in a smoking hot wok.
Es enorme pero perfecto para cocinar con poca grasa y con una distribucin uniforme del calor. Aunque sealan que viene curado, recomendamos curarlo y recubrirlo con una capa ligera de aceite despus de lavarlo.
I used this Kow for cooking about a month. From my past experience, this is one of the best Kow I have ever had.
Para el uso para la cual se compro es excelente, la ocupamos para hacer una discada tarda un poco en calentar pero una vez que toma calor es muy rpida
This item costs a lot of money – but when it arrives you can see the quality in the finish, straight out of the box. In short – pay for quality and you will get it, at least in this case.
This is a joy to cook with. The wok has been exceptionally easy to maintain. I spread a thin layer of oil on it after each use and it still looks brand new.
It’s also especially handy for cooking Indian recipes which require high heat as well as popcorn!
I should have purchased this much sooner than I did.
Excellent this wok lives on my stove I use it everyday
I brought this as a gift for my grandson for Christmas. He loves to cook and has alot of cast iron pans. He wanted this particular item. He gave me it on his Christmas list and was very happy when he unwrapped iton Christmas.
Pros
– Perfect size for cooking for family of 4
– Excellent quality
– Cleaning and maintaining is the same as for anything cast iron (I use instructions by “wok with yak”)
– Works well on ceramic stovetop
Cons
– Very heavy (but what do you expect from cast iron)
Investment of the Wok is high but if you see the Product Quality you will never regret what your are paid…. a must buy especially for every Indian Kitchen…
Really happy with this Lodge cast iron wok. Wish I bought it sooner, then I wouldn’t have to waste money on any other frying pan. This wok is perfect for all my frying needs: stir-fry, deep fry, fried rice, egg fry…Food cooked evenly, no burn. You need to remember to wipe dry right after cleaning and apply a thin coat of oil to keep it in top shape (i pour a tiny amount of cooking oil into a paper tissue and wipe the inner surface of the wok with the issue).
Got this to use on an induction stove top. The cast iron conducts well, but the base is so narrow diameter that my largest burner can’t put enough heat on the base – it gets hotter on a smaller burner, but that one lacks a the wattage.
Only the very bottom 3″ or so gets hot – hot enough to scorch while the top stays cool enough to touch. Not really a ding on the product, it just isn’t ideal for induction use because of the small base.
So overall – kinda disappointed. I bet it would be awesome on a gas stove where the flame could get up around the sides a bit.
I bought this to replace the non-stick steel wok that we had because the non-stick part had gotten mistreated and scratched. We love cooking with cast iron, so we purchased this. It is awesome! I love that it is the exact same size as our other wok, yet the sides heat much more evenly and we can spread the veggies and meat around and know it will cook evenly. And, the cover from my other wok fits on it.
As with any cast iron, it is best to maintain the surface by not washing with soap. Get a hard rubber scraper and wash with hot water and the scraper, and then let dry upside down. Coat liberally with oil to prevent rusting. This company makes some of the best cast iron in the world, so it will last a lifetime! Something to pass on to your kids.
you can use this on a campfire and not destroy it like conventional cookware
I purchased this for my daughter’s birthday and she has told me that is great to use and that she loves it ,easy to clean , makes great stir fries also keeps the food hot.
Nice and heavy and a solid construction.. won’t move when stirring things up .. great for stir fry’s , frying and curries .. great to clean and really holds on to the heat on the bbq and charcoal .. I’ve used in 8 times since my purchase 2 week ago .. love it … workmanship is awesome 10 out of 10 Lodge it will outlast me for sure !!!! Jo
I like cooking with iron ware. It is very forgiving if I burn it. This wok is a perfect size for 2 to 4. Cast iton gives an even heat, it’s flat bottom to fit an electric stove. I’m delighted with i
Extremely heavy, solid wok, holds the heat well. Very happy with this purchase.
This is a very nice wok. Seems to work well.
We love this wok. Great size, cooks evenly and washes up extremely well. Certainly a wok for a lifetime.
I saw mixed reviews with glass top burners, but I’ve cooked all week with this wok (stir fries, fried chicken wings, sauces), and the heat is fabulous. I set my burner on high for the fried chicken wings and the oil got up to 380 farenheit. More than enough to fry.
I used the iron wok to prepare cutup chicken and vegetables prior to using them as meat pie filling for a recipe I needed to finish by baking in the oven. The wok worked exactly as I hoped and cleaned easily when I finished the preparation.
This thing could withstand a nuclear blast. Much heavier than expected and a little smaller. Not easily moved around. I’m sure it will be passed on within the family for years.
Excellent wok with great heat distribution. Already bought one for each of my kids and they love them. The only drawback is that it’s heavy as it should be expected, but works great even on a glass cooktop stove as it will not move from where you place it. After meal is done and wok has cooled slightly, I give it a wash in warm soapy water and quickly dry it well. Then, I take it back to the stove and let it sit in the med-low setting for about 15 minutes to make sure that it is totally dry. I add about one teaspoon of avocado oil (or Crisbee) and evenly distribute the oil on both sides of the wok with a cotton or paper towel. Then it’s ready for the next great meal.
This is an absolutely wonderful Wok. Most woks have to be held in place when your really stir frying a meal, and the heat dispersion gets lost on the way up the sides. But this cast iron Wok rids a chef of all the little headaches. It does not move at all because of it’s weight and design, with naturally even heat dispersion all the way to the top because it’s cast iron (but give it a few minutes to heat up and when a drop of water rolls all around the insides it’s ready). A flattened bottom on the outside and a huge bowl on the inside. Now if you like to toss your items by holding the the long handle, well, there is no long handle, just two c shaped grasps on each polar side. It is preseasoned so all you need is a clean wipe between uses and a drop of your favorite oil rubbed around the inside (I use extra virgin olive, first press from Italy). Best Wok ever!
Lleg antes del tiempo sealado de entrega y lo he usado ya varias veces con muy buenos resultados. Sin duda lo recomiendo.
This was exactly what I was looking for and what I expected. I wanted a new wok and I’ve fallen in love with cast iron cookware. The only category I couldn’t give all stars to was “lightweight”. Cast iron will never be lightweight. But it is superior in all other categories. I’ve used it a few times and it’s a great size and allows me to turn my gas flame all the way up for excellent stir-fry performance. It also fits in my Weber Kettle and I’m looking forward to a little patio wok cooking outdoors. A well designed and quality manufactured “Made in USA” product!
I’ve spent my entire life making stir fry in frying pans. Sure, it worked, but after watching some Liziqi videos on youtube, got jealous of her cooking setup and wanted a real wok.
Lodge makes durable cast iron stuff. I’ve always been happy with their quality and this is no exception. The wok has a flat bottom, which works perfect for placing on your stove. Heat distribution is excellent, and I’m confident this wok will last my entire lifetime and be a hand-me-down for future generations.
One additional note: I know you’re not really supposed to use cast iron on a glass-top stove, but I do anyways. As long as you’re careful, it doesn’t scratch the surface and after using this wok on it for the last month, my stove top is still pristine.
Estuve buscando por mucho tiempo un wok de buen precio y calidad, lo encontre en otros lados pero mucho ms caro, lo puse directo al asador y como esperaba funciono
This is an exceptional product easy to clean I use it 3 or 4 times a week . The company, great customer service fast and friendly response to any issues you may have. Thank you Lodge for your great product and service highly recommended
Perfect family stir fry wok if your a cast iron kinda guy/gal. I love this thing, that said it’s heavy and loud if you use a metal wok spatula because of the roughness of the surface. Gets hot and holds the heat, great for searing.
Amo este wok. Es mi consentido en casa y lo uso el fin de semana que puedo cocinar con calma. Cocina muy bien los alimentos y casi no se pega. Eso s, recomiendo comprar los agarres de silicona, vale la pena.
We love this wok. We is it on our stove and on the grill for stir fry. Very easy to clean. I always passed on cast iron because I thought it was a pain to use & wash but I was wrong. It’s not even fully seasoned yet and no issues.
I love the product; I love lodge cast iron and it’s USA made; the cast iron is seasoned with oil baked into the iron to give an easy natural release finish: do not use in dishwasher, scouring pads, or harmful chemicals; simply wipe clean: dry with paper towel and put a thin coating of cooking oil;
This has rapidly become my favorite pan. This thing just plain rocks. It is heavy and will last a lifetime, that became blatantly obvious as soon as I opened the carton. I read and watched all the material out there on the care and feeding of cast iron but in the end I went with the advice from Lodge. It is already pre-seasoned! It takes a bit of time to heat this up but I’ve learned patience. Once It is hot cooking is a dream. Cleanup is as easy as any other pan I’ve had. I use a sponge with green scrubber and everything just comes right out. Then I put in on the stove to heat it up to ensure it is dry and then a splash of olive oil which I wipe around and that’s it. Incredible part of my kitchen now.
Made in America high Quality. Not Cheap Chinese junk.
Great material, fantastic heat retention.
Highly recommended.
Love this wok. One of the best I’ve ever owned
Man, I am so glad I took the chance and bought this bad boy. I use it all the time. Please note though, It is incredibly heavy and might very well be too heavy for some people. For example, my wife really can’t lift it and move it around. I use it on a gas stove and it works incredibly well. Perfect for stir frys or any kind of frying you might need to do. It comes pre seasoned and is INCREDIBLY WELL MADE. I use olive oil for cooking and when I’m done I just wash this under hot water, no soap, and then apply a small amount of olive oil to it with a paper towel to keep it in good shape. I have several Lodge iron pans and skillets, and can say that I now ONLY cook on cast iron, and all of the pans I use are made by Lodge. I love it!
I love this pan so much I am giving everyone in my family one for Christmas this year. Thank you for my favourite cooking pan of all time!

I needed a sixth anniversary gift for which iron is the appropriate material, (who knew? You heard it here.) This looked like a good item so I got it. It has been an unbelievably valuable purchase. We use it constantly on an induction stove top. Quick to get super hot. Makes a meal out of almost any leftovers although we have gotten bak into Japanese stir frying after doing a lot of it in college days. It is a beautiful object to behold so we leave it out full time, which makes us use it more. We tried cooking scrambled eggs in a small amount of butter with great results.
Super easy clean up– a little bit of dish soap and a dish cloth removes all cooking residue, with no need to cure or prep for next use.
Don’t wait for your sixth anniversary like we did– just get it now and start enjoying an entirely new take o cooking and food.
Everything was very great, the thickness, size, and was easy to clean, but can be quite hard to handle sometimes, because of its heavy weight. Very suitable for Asian style cooking though.
I’m new to cast iron but this so far has been so great I don’t know why I didn’t switch over sooner. It takes a little long to heat up as I have an electric stove but it’s definitely worth that wait. I love the wide top. Cast iron is hard to adjust the temperature but because it’s wide you can move the food to the sides to avoid overcooking.
Overall a great buy. I recommend.
I also love how you can use metal spatula
Love the depth and ease of cooking with this wok. We use it for more than traditional wok cooking. Amazing for making sauces in like a pasta sauce. Heavy, but it is supposed to be. Will last a life time
Arrived a little late but only by a few days which in these difficult times, is great. This is a well made, solid and heavy cast-iron wok. Excellent heat distribution and wonderful to cook in. Made several dishes last night, including Pork Lo Mein – cooks as cast iron should, and easy to clean. This is a wok that will last forever and that will still be in excellent condition for my daughter to inherit – I’ve inherited my grandmother’s cast-iron fry pans which are now over 110 years old and have been in continuous use since they were bought for her as a wedding gift! Quality made cast iron last forever and I highly recommend. I plan on adding a Lodge Dutch Oven sometime soon!
Love this wok. I can use it on cooktop stove or on my kamado joe classic. Don’t think light weight should be part of review, seeing how it is cast iron, however, I gave it 5 stars for light weight to keep review positive.
This is a fantastic wok. It’s quite heavy so it stays in place while you stir. It heats beautifully and is ideal for a wide range of cooking applications besides stir-fry. We have used it to deep fry, braise, stew, and even to crisp bacon. We use it on a gas stove, I’m not sure how I would like it on an electric coil.
If you haven’t used cast iron before check out some tips for seasoning it. If you maintain the patina on it it is basically nonstick, and if anything does get stuck on you can scrub it off with a steel wool or bamboo scrubber.
One of the first things we made in our wok was actually my grandmother’s Swedish meatball recipe and I have never had them come out nicer. They stayed nice and round and got so delightfully crispy on the outside. This is the perfect pan to brown onions also, they cooks so evenly and so much faster than in a flat pan.
Love this cast iron pan! Maintains even heat, great quality and non stick. I clean it with warm water and kosher salt. I re-season it every few uses. Super heavy!!
Mi esposa me ha cocinado Mongolian Food en este artculo y le queda fabulosamente delicioso.
Easy to season, surface is nice and smooth and have had no issues with sticking at all. first meal prepared was some spicy indonesian style fried rice (Nasi Goreng) and it worked like a champ! Super easy clean up afterwards. We’ve eliminated all teflon from our lives and getting back to roots with amazing quality of this wok and other Lodge pots and pans. I only give this a 5 out of 5 stars because 100 out of 5 stars is not available!
I liked mine so much I bought one for my Son!!
Very happy with purchase. Good quality item with thick steel. Looks like it will last for ever. Very quick postage from the US.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He wanted a heavy wok to use for stir-fry (our old one would move around too much & was too hot to hold onto). I decided on this one. He LOVES it!!! It’s heavy like all Lodge products. What he likes about the Lodge wok is that it cooks evenly, food doesn’t stick, & it cleans up easily. I also bought the silicone handles that fit perfectly on this wok.
L.O.V.E. It’s big & smooth, but very heavy. Cooks literally everything perfectly. Very even heat distribution & non stick surface. I know it says pre seasoned, but I wash with soap, re-season & bake all my new cast iron. It’s made in the USA too, which is great. I’ve wanted this for over 2 years & finally got it. If you’re a cast iron lover, buy it. Great for just about every dish.
The pot is very high quality, while more expensive than some competitors, the extra cost is worth it. I use it on a BlueStar gas cooktop. The stir fry dishes are perfectly cooked, retains excellent flavour but does not burn, as it only requires medium heat. Retains heat evenly and for a long time. A bit of attention to maintenance will make the kitchen a show place.
Great for stir frying and deep frying. Holds a lot of food. Buy and matching lid to put the wok in the oven to keep food warm. I have been using the wok about once a week since I purchased it as a replacement for my old one made of carbon steel with wooden handles. The handles got so hot that they caught on fire. The Lodge cast iron wok will never catch on fire and should last a lifetime.
Wok is great as a wok. Plus for deep frying thing it uses way less oil due to bowl shape but gives you the surface area to do quite a bit at a time. And if you buy the lid like I did, does top notch popcorn. If you’ve gotten used to microwave popcorn, quit doing that and use oil like the good Lord intended. With real melted butter, not butter ‘flavored’ powder.
My wife and are happy we ordered Lodge, not any other brand… Cannot say the others are worse, but Lodge seems to be exactly what we needed: good shape and material, thick enough to provide heat for cooking from all around, easy to clean and maintain surface, deep enough… It is heavy, but it would be a compromise with its thickness if it had to be lighter…
I personally prefer cast iron cookware because of the heat retention and distribution. This wok is made well and is heavy so if you are looking for something light it isn’t for you. I wanted something I could use on my gas range or my grill so it is perfect for me. I’ve used it for browning meat for my chili, lomein and stir fry so far and have been very happy with it. I don’t know that I would be happy with it on an electric range. Because of the mass it takes time to heat cast iron and even on my gas range you can cool it off too much to cook well if you add cold ingredients too fast. If there is a slight trick to cooking on it then maintaining your cookware heat during cooking would be it. Just clean it as you would any cast iron cookware to maintain the season and you should be happy with it.
I love this wok! It’s easy to clean when when you keep it well oiled. It’s relative maintenance free as with all cast iron cookware. If you’re looking for cheap thin wok that will heat up quickly, keep looking. You’re not going to find a cheap wok here. The cast iron is thick and takes a bit to warm up, but that thick cast iron helps retain the heat.
No doubt about the quality. But its too big in size. I dont feel like returning it because I liked it a lot.
ice finish, you can see and feel the difference between Lodge product and other cast iron brands. have made a few stir fry with it so far and it’s great. Look forward to cooking with this for decades to come
Definitely a great value for money. Used many times already.
The best cast iron wok you can buy. Just make sure you know how to care for and clean cast iron. Trying to cook with any other style of wok on American stovetops is very difficult to get great results.
I would recommend cast iron or carbon steel but I think cast iron wins in my opinion. Amazing searing, heat retention and great tasting results. If you love cast iron you will love this wok. I’m very satisfied and recommend Lodge cast iron products.
When it became time to replace my 20-year old no-longer non-stick wok, I certainly looked for more of the same. Then I came across the Lodge P14W3 cast iron wok. Was I ready for this? Am I “kitchen-mature” enough for a cast iron wok? Let’s give it a shot!
When it arrived, I was impressed by the construction. This bad boy is meant to last. I seasoned it with avocado oil, then planned a shrimp stir fry dinner. It took a while to heat up, but when it did, I found the heat was distributed very evenly, no hot spots. Clean-up was easy enough. Afterward, I seasoned it again, and hung it from the rack.
Now I find excuses to use the wok for more than simple stir fry meals. Small batch of soup? Grab the wok! Fried rice? You bet!
Just remember to care for it, and RE season after each cleaning for years of enjoyment.
The only wok that we use since we bought it. We had tried all kind of wok and none last longer than a year. But this wok, with a bit of sanding and a good seasoning, we could do every cooking with it and the best part is that it is non-stick with good seasoning
Really dig this wok. Such a workhorse. Have used it straight out of the box with no additional seasoning from my side yet and it works solid. Heat it enough and the surface is almost non stick. Have cooked scrambled eggs on it to fried rice to other noodle stir fry’s and the food comes out delicious. Retains heat nicely so got to have all ingredients at hand once you start going on those high heat stir frys. Very versatile so far. Quality is excellent.
This was an exceptional Prime Day deal! I use it daily.
Esta de super buen material y se siente super resistente
Me gusto su tamao y su calidad de materiales perfecto par hacer comida oriental
Inked the product quality. Used it to do a stir-fry.
Es muy pesado y latoso de limpiar, pero an as me encanta.
it is the best one I have ever used it will not warp heats evenly cooks wonderful. only sad thing is no lid. but we love i
The surface area on the base is quite small, so does not work fantastically on induction ranges. On a gas burner it is excellent. It comes “pre-seasoned” which is great for lazy sods like me. Nice and heavy with good heat retention and a nice finish. 14″ is a slightly awkward size and the handles stick out making a draining rack something of a challenge. But overall would happily recommend.
I’m very happy with my new wok. It looks great and feels like it will outlive me. Something indestructible to pass on to the kids later.
Solid build, I did not notice that it was such a small flat bottom. Had to return.
I bought this item for its health benefits and because I like making stir fries. BUT it is very time consuming to clean and cook with. Everything I cook with sticks so I have to keep adding oil, and that oil I feel gets absorbed quickly into the wok and I have to use a wooden spatula to scrape off the food (I don’t think that’s good for the wok)…AND besides the struggle to carry it and place it in a spot that won’t scratch it when I’m trying to flip it over to season it (I have a tiny overcrowded kitchen). AND when I bought this item it came with scratches on it, pretty noticeable ones by the way (I don’t feel comfortable with)….but I kept cooking with it anyway…and since I’ve had it about a month now I’ve only used it four times because it’s A LOT of work to use….THIS wok requires a lot of love and attention, and if you treat it right it’ll love you back…PFFFTT what a load of caca I feel like I just bought a pet rock…
Tamao perfecto. Bueno para cocinar comida china. No se peg nada.
El fuego lo hizo cambiar de color por fuera.
I use this for almost everything. Spaghetti sauce, chili, roasting, you name it. Superb quality. It’s heavy if you have problems with strength though. Too bad it has no lid. I use a lid from another pot I had. I find it odd that a “feature” to rate in this review is “light weight”. How absurd when you’re rating cast iron cookware. Of course it’s NOT lightweight, so that just brings down the rating of an otherwise great wok. What a dumb question!
Great wok! Use it often. It is cast iron – so it needs cast iron love, but cleans up nicely. It was pricey, but I was able to get one on Amazon Warehouse Deals at a reasonable price. It is a good weight, which is required for heat retention. It even makes me look competent as a cook – and that is saying a lot!
I think this is the only wok that would get hot enough for stir fry on my glass top stove. It is a little heavy and bulky but it needs to be big in order to cook what I want to cook and needs to be heavy in order to conduct enough heat so I’m not counting those things against it. Like all cast iron cookware it is a little harder to clean than something non-stick but after finding the Blilsstime Cast Iron Cleaner Premium Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber it is a lot easier.
To get the cons out of the way, it’s not easy to handle, clean, or cook with because the handles are built straight into the bowl, making it really hot and unwieldy. HOWEVER, if you understand from day one that woks are not, and have never been that easy to use which is why you typically find them in restaurants, then this is a really great item to have. If I ever have to fry large quantities, I exclusively use the wok now. The heat distribution is unparalleled by skillets and pans. This isn’t a top of the line product, but it also isn’t priced like it is. If you have enough stove room to accompany it and you don’t mind spend a lot of time taking care of it, it lasts reasonably well and is a really great tool for making really evenly cooked cuisines. I generally stick to stir fries, so if you intend to use this for other meals your mileage may vary. The size is a bit awkward, I would’ve preferred if it were either slightly smaller or slightly larger. It’s kind of in this weird middle ground, but for the quality I’m willing to forgive this design choice. Before buying, make sure to double check that the base fits your stove. It only fits two of my burners, but even if it does yours, make sure it also doesn’t tip over. It shouldn’t because the weight is evenly distributed, but it never hurts to be careful.
It’s my first time to buy lodge. I always feel it’s my grandma’s stuff. After trying it for some time, I start to understand why it’s classic. The wok is much heavier than modern woks, but it gives good contact with any source of heat. It’s stable when stir frying. Both features allow quick heating especially if you want to try Chinese style of cooking. It’s spacious so I’ll never have to worry about stirring out ingredients. As a gentle reminder, lodge wok takes muscle strength to move it around and it takes some efforts of seasoning after each use to prevent rusts from building up.
This Wok is the best Wok that I’ve bought. It’s well made and it’s quality show in the evenly distributed heat when cooking
