So far so good. I’m 51, a lifelong insomniac. I don’t know if I’m falling asleep easier yet, but I’m definitely sleeping deeper. For the first time since I was a little kid, I’m remembering my dreams. Very strange experience. It takes some getting used to, as dragging this dead weight over you in the middle of the night is not always pleasant, but I would definitely recommend this blanket to anyone with sleep issues.
This blanket I would highly recommend to anyone. I wasn’t sleeping great at all. Tossing and turning all night. In turn this made my days working with people as a landscaper, where I was grumpy. This blanket gave me back my sleep. It improved my sleep completely and way more sound of sleep. I have already told many of my friends to buy it.
Absolutely perfect. Used it right away and didn’t want to get up. Had a peaceful lay down on the couch using the weighted blanket. I’ve already messaged friends telling them to get one. I was hesitant purchasing but I’m so glad I did.

My sister, who is using this blanket, loves it and use it all the time. It really helps her stay calm and for the size the weight is perfect for her.
Has a good method for attaching the blanket so it doesn’t move around inside the cover. But its so secure its a pain to put it on and off. Not very soft though.

I first tried a 15 pound weighted blanket. I found it too big and too heavy. I am 5’5 and share a king bed. My hubby is not interested in a weighted blanket. Determined to sleep better, I tried the 10 pound one, which said suitable for 1 small adult. I DO like this one better because it does not take the whole bed, just covers me. It is easier to turn in bed than when covered with the 15 pound one. It has been described as “a hug” . I think it encourages me not to toss and turn as much. I find I am often awake in the morning in the same position that I fell asleep. This is remarkable to me. I think if you can’t sleep it might be worth a try. It is more natural than taking medications. I would suggest a cover, if you would like it “softer” more like a traditional blanket. HH
The blanket very comfortable once you lay underneath it. It wraps around body, heavily draping down the sides of you. The blanket says it requires you some time see the benefits of quality of sleep, so no full comment on that yet.
The only complaint(although its measurements are stated) is that a queen was not your average queen size. It will fit your mattress exactly and not fall off the sides per usual. So as a tall person(6’3″), I find my feet falling out a fair bit.
This blanket is so cozy and helps me get into a quick deep sleep. I enjoy the pressure and feeling snug on bed. At times it can feel a bit heavy when I try to move my feet, but I tend to move around a lot in my sleep. This makes it more difficult but I am trying to learn to sleep on my back. This is perfect for the upcoming cooler winter weather and to help with my anxiety and sleeping issues.
I checked the dimensions and the weight of the blanket and they match well. I measured 60×80 inches and 20 pounds. The blanket was made in China. The label says the cover is 100% cotton but the filling is glass beads and polyester wadding. While the blanket is soft, I would say the texture is neither smooth nor coarse for fabric.
The weighting of the blanket seem to be held in roughly 6×6 inch square stitching with tiny glass beads. I tried briefly to see if the glass beads would stay in each stitched square by holding an end of the blanket and shaking and didn’t notice any shift in weight. Other reviews note the glass beads in their blanket shifted over time so I’m concerned how the stitching and weight distribution of the blanket will hold over time. However, there doesn’t seem to be any obvious defects from my initial glance over the blanket.
I was hoping this would help me be a bit less restless as I move a lot in my sleep. I can’t say it did that, but it was cozy and it did stay on all night (normally I wake up with blankets all over). I also find it too hot sometimes, but I think I’m just a hot sleeper what with moving so much. I do like that it’s eco friendly though and I will say that it is well-made!
This blanket is EVERYTHING! Arrived in 2 days, packaging was clean and easy to handle. The blanket itself is great so far (used for 2 nights of sleep). I also purchased the duvet cover, which is also a worthy investment in order to keep it protected and clean. I’m a 5’5/125 lbs female and the 60×80 15 lb blanket was not too heavy or big for my queen bed.
I love the blanket. I actually double it up over my chest at night providing comfort to my breath and sleep. I sometimes have restless nights and although i still wake I tend to go back to sleep more easily with the Luna weighted blanket. I have recommended it to my daughter and a few friends and will continue to do so.
I may even buy a second one a tad heavier. This product is everything it is said to be and I really like the Luna compnay in general as well.
I’d heard that these blankets could assist people who have trouble sleeping, but wasn’t convinced. We decided to try one for our 11 year old son. This arrived quickly and we all laughed when it did because the box was so heavy! I guess we should have expected that but it seemed so odd. We piled the heavy blanket onto his bed (it’s actually really easy to make with it on and it stays in place!) and crossed our fingers for it to be different in some way. This blanket was a GAME CHANGER. Our son said he falls asleep in one or two minutes whereas he used to “get bored” trying to fall asleep and then get up. He seems so much more well rested now. I highly recommend this!

I looked at many other options for weighted blankets and chose this one and I’m happy I did. Visually it looks and feels of good quality, color is lovely. Material feels soft and cool to the touch, great for warm weather. Over all very happy with this blanket.
This is a great weighted blanked for the cost. I have not had any issues with it so far, and I do appreciate the Hypoallergenic, Oeko-Tex Certified cotton being used. I got a smaller one for my child as well, again with no issues or concerns. I would recommend this to others.
Both- my husband and I were not great sleepers.
We have tried many web suggested remedies, and this was one of them- a weighted blanket.
The first day was a struggle as I am a tiny person- and this is a heavy blanket.
Though heavy, this doesn’t make you feel suffocated or hot under it.
Within 2 weeks of adjustment time, I was sleeping way better. And so is my husband 🙂
Bought this blanket for my husband but I think I’m the one who enjoys it more than him! The blanket arrived on time and well package, no funny smells or anything out of the ordinary. The weight of the blanket it’s good and once you get used to it you barely feel it. Has it helped to sleep better I would say yes, I’ve notice a difference of sleep in my husband (he works night shifts ) so he sleeps a bit more and heavier (and I don’t mean cause of the blanket lol). I would recommend this blanket it does take a few days to get use to it but for the price it’s worthwhile. The only thing I was put off it’s the wrong free advertisement they put that you get a free cover but you actually don’t when you go in the website. Other than that I would recommend it!
My granddaughter was at a sleepover recently. When she came home, she RAVED about her friend’s weighted blanket. So much so my daughter wanted to get her one. So I checked out all the different company’s, read all the reviews, checked out all the prices, and found Luna Sleep to be THE BEST! Their product is very well made, of 100% cotton fabric, double stitched, and chemical free. I then ordered one for myself. I love, Love LOVE IT! As my header says, it’s like being hugged. Very comfortable, as well as comforting. The weight of the blanket should be 7-12% of your body weight. The blanket is not machine washable., therefore I suggest you get a cover as well. My granddaughter will love hers, I love mine, and my daughter will be surprised…I bought her one too!
So to start off, I have never slept with a weighted blanket but after hearing from a friend about Luna, I decided to try it out. This is absolutely the best amazon purchase I have ever made. Not only is it pretty soft, but the weight distribution is crazy. I was super skeptical about this especially but Luna did not let me down. I have suffered from night terrors and sleeping problems for about 5 years and just off the first time taking a nap with it, I already feel like I slept and woke up refreshed like I never have before. Good quality and price, my weighted blanket fits perfectly, my only qualms would be that its not a particularly soft fabric and its damn hard to get it on the blanket but the second point is more just me struggling to lift 15lb i think lol

This is my first weighted blanket, so I don’t have anything else to compare it to, but overall I’m very happy with the quality and performance of this item. I’ve been using it for a bit over a week now, and it definitely takes some getting used to. My sleep was not better the first couple of nights, but after a few days, my body got used to the new norm, and it really feels cozy.
I also particularly like the Luna blanket because of the genuine Oeko-Tex certification. It comes with a certification number and you can verify the certification directly on the Oeko-Tex website, which totally sold me on this. I also love that it’s machine washable.
The beads do seem to clump a bit in the corners of the squares (although I’m not sure if that happened after I put it in the washing machine), but that doesn’t at all affect the feel and cozyness of the blanket.
Again, I don’t have anything else to compare it to, but I would recommend this item.
I also want to mention that Luna’s customer service is AMAZING! I had a problem with a shipping mix up, and their team looked into it and took care of the issue right away. I’m very happy and impressed with the help I received and also the promptness of their reply. Great company to work with!
I researched extensively for a summer blanket that was weighted. This brand came out on top in many inline reviews , and the price was right Some of these blankets can be horrendously expensive I love this blanket. It just settles into your body and the cotton feels amazing. I bought covers for them- I’m giving a set away as a gift I’m weigh about 128 pounds and prefer the 25 pound one but I’m used to a very heavy blanket as I’ve used my other winter one for years. Highly recommend. I haven’t written a review in a very long time but this is a great company with excellent customer service. I look forward to going to sleep every night – and I’ve been an insomniac all my adult life. This helps me get a better sleep. And no I didn’t get a blanket In return for a good review ! I just hope I can help someone else decide bc there are so many blankets out there and it can be a bit overwhelming trying to find the right one This one, in my mind ,is the best. I don’t overheat all night. ( with my winter one no matter how cold it is in the room I always overheat at some point in the night )— worth every penny!
It feels really heavy out of the box but it all distributed easily over me. I got the queen which feels more like a double if I were to guess. It’s definitely not as small as a twin. I’m 5’10 and it covers my feet. I got the pink which is a really pretty blush pink. For the price it’s a steal in my opinion.
Some of the pockets are bunched and some feel like there aren’t any beads. The microfiber fill isn’t a material I would have chosen for my child to sleep with, however, he is absolutely loving it so it gets a good rating from me!
Quality was better than I expected. The wieght is well distributed. Beads are still in place after washing it. dried quickly out in the sun.
This is my third weighted blanket that I’ve ordered on amazon. By far this one is amazing! I ordered the king size 20lbs and it actually weights 20lbs. There is no funky smell like my first one. Also this one is definitely more breathable and cooling than my second one. Overall: good construction, nice feeling fabric, good weight distribution, good size for the weight and breathable. What more could you ask for 😉

I got this blanket to help with insomnia, quarantining alone during the pandemic. This blanket definitely improves sleep quality, feels like I fall asleep faster and sleep deeper.
As a brain health coach, I’ll add that it may also be very therapeutic for autistic children who would be calmed by the weight but not overwhelmed as they may be by hugs. It’s very comforting and helps with grounding if you wrap it around your shoulders like a cape or fold it over your lap or legs. Great substitute for a hug!
Only down side is, because the blanket is so much heavier than a regular blanket, it traps body heat like crazy. I’m a woman in my mid 40s, so I sweat in my sleep most nights anyway…pretty gross how badly I sweat under this blanket. But even given that huge down side, I still LOVE this blanket. Makes falling and staying asleep so much easier. Wonderful healthy alternative to sleeping pills!
I purchased this after my therapist suggested it for my anxiety and let me tell you this product is WONDERFUL. The weight is evenly distributed and helps me feel grounded and relaxed. I’m beyond thrilled and have been recommending it to everyone. I was worried at first because it was so much cheaper than some of the other blankets I’ve seen online, but the blanket doesn’t feel or look cheaply made.

I never leave reviews, but thought I would this time to let everyone know how great I find this blanket. I was looking to purchase a down duvet and after much research, decided to give a weighted blanket a try and after more research, settles in Luna brand. We have a queen bed and purchased the king size blanket and it is perfect. Great sleep, very relaxing. I suffer from night sweats and this has helped so much

After reading other reviews on weighted blankets, I decided to go with Luna. I tried the Costco weighed blanket but it was too heavy and not big enough to fit me. I love that the material is organic cotton, and the beads are not made of plastic. The material is cotton so it is light. I have battled insomnia, and restless legs, I had read that a weighted blanket could possibly help. I was a bit skeptical to try this type of blanket, but nothing was helping me stay asleep. I have tried benadryl, melatonin, meditation, being off computer or technology 30 mins before bed, and nothing worked to keep me stay asleep through the night. I sleep so much better now, no more waking up through the night! Woohoo! I read in one of the reviews if you tend to run hot while sleeping get the 15 lbs not 20 lbs. That was a great call, the blanket is not too hot or too cold, just right (like goldilocks). Anyone trying to find a great weighted blanket you have to try this one! I love this blanket and couldn’t think of sleeping without it.
The edges are a bit rough without the cover, but its still extremely comfy and feels durable. It’s recommended 21 days to build a habit and get use it to, haven’t reach 21 days yet but still quite enjoy it!
Historically my sleeps were restless and I would often find my pillows and blankets scattered on the floor when I woke up. This weighted blanket was a difficult adjustment for the first couple of days but I eventually found myself sleeping longer and feeling more grounded with the weight of it. Its really soft as well.
I love my mattress and love my pillow. But there were still many nights where I just could not get comfortable and would find myself going to the couch to fall asleep….then in the middle of the night I would go back to bed to continue my nights sleep. Some times when I would get back in my bed I would suddenly be awake again….feeling exposed. So I would go back to the couch and curl up to the back side and feel nice and snuggly. Then it hit me! That’s what those “weighted blankets” do. They’re meant to make you feel secure and snuggled. So I bought this one. The first night wasn’t the best, I actually ended up on the couch again. But I wasn’t going to give up. Second night it felt better. By the 3rd night I was totally hooked. I actually look forward to going to bed at night. I have not slept on my couch since. Now I have the great mattress, great pillow and great blanket. I highly recommend this to anyone.
This arrived unbelievably quickly and the quality seems really good, at a great price compared to other similar products. The cotton is soft, the weight is well distributed and I slept very well last night without getting too hot which I was concerned about. I love the selection of covers that Luna has available for its blankets, much nicer than a lot of the others and lots of choice. Happy customer!
Bought this for my 11 year old son – he absolutely loves it. It feels like a big hug when he’s falling asleep. Very happy with the delivery time and with the blanket itself, would recommend it to anyone looking for a weighted blanket. It seems a bit smaller than your typical “queen sized” blanket, so just know that it won’t be hanging over the edges of the bed or anything like that, so if you wan that you might have to go up a size.
I did a lot of research before buying this blanket and ultimately went with Luna for the price, figuring if I really liked having a weighted blanket I could always get one of the fancier (more expensive) ones. But this will be perfect. Weight distribution is great, size is good and it seems to be good quality. The only drawback is that it’s not super soft and looks more practical than aesthetic. But it does the trick! Very happy with it.
I previously had a 12 lbs blanket not from this company and wanted to upgrade to a 15lbs. Just received my blanket today first thoughts out of the box is that it seems like great quality even weight distribution great colour a great quality of materials and very soft. I am excited to use it tonight and tested out although based on recommended weight I purchase the 20 lb blanket I think I would have been better with a 15 pound just for Comfort reasons
I got the 5lb one for my son who has autism I was noticing he was seeking deep pressure he would sleep only when putting a pillow over his body. As soon as I put it on him he made no attempts to push it off him, he has slept with it 3 nights now and he looks for it at night to put it over him.
My first weighted blanket had huge square, and turning over sounded like a mini waterfall of beads. This blanket has small squares and some sort of thin filler, so they don’t shift around or make noise. The fabric is pretty soft, but feels a bit starchy. I highly recommend a duvet cover, though I’m sure it will need to be washed too, for full softness. It came well packaged with a nice welcome brochure.
I really like the weight distribution on the Luna, it also has loops (more than the corners) so any duvet cover with ties can easily attach. I did my research prior to buying, and I’m very happy with this blanket!
Wow – Got my luna blanket yesterday and had my first trial with it for a 3 hours nap… i could feel my body relax and fall asleep quickly.. i was astonished! I’m looking forward to try a full night with it.
The blanket itself seems good quality, weight seems good and there is no weird smell.
I took a 60×80 blanket of 17 lbs instead of 15 lbs because i have always like having the heavy feel of multiple blankets over me and i was scared the 15 lbs would be just a little too light to my preference and so far its really good. Also size wise, I am really glad i took the 60×80 over the size below… again personal preference.
No regret so far! I will need to test it a bit longer to see if it actually keep the promise of helping me getting more sleep and mostly better quality. 🙂
I’ve been looking for a weighted blanket for awhile to deal with anxiety and try to fall asleep easier. I unpackaged this blanket as soon as it arrived and tried it out. It is definitely heavy, but laid out across a bad has a great distribution. It didn’t feel like any region was heavier than another, so at least at first it is quite well stitched. The fabric on the uncovered blanket is a bit rough for my taste, and I will definitely be getting a cover of some sort. I tried the blanket curling up underneath one layer, and then folded in half to try it doubled up – I preferred the heavier doubled up, it felt like getting enveloped without crushed. I’ll update my review after a week to report back on sleep, but definitely right away I felt more relaxed – though that could be from taking a break from work as well!
I was absolutely amazed by this product! The material is exactly what I expected, soft but durable and I got the blush colour, so cute! The 12lbs I got is perfect for my size (100lbs) and the weight is nicely distributed, plus it cools you down while keeping you warm but without suffocating you. This was 100% worth the money and I will be buying more as gifts!

Great Blanket! Purchased the Queen Size and sleep with it every night. The size is large enough that it takes up the entire queen size mattress. Material is breathable and soft, and i couldn’t see myself going back to sleeping without it. The wight of my blanket is 20 lbs and suits me well for someone who is 180 lbs. being 6’4 i was concerned the blanket would not be long enough to o cover my entire body but it certainly is.
I’ve dealt with anxiety for years and finally decided to try out a weighted blanket. I was a little skeptical, but within seconds (literally) of placing it on me, I could feel my body relaxing. It’s everything my body needed, I am so happy with it! I work from home and struggle with computer work-related anxiety, but having this blanket on my lap as I work has boosted my productivity so much.
Upon receiving this blanket, I was very impressed with the quality. The item was exactly as described by the seller, it was soft and well-made. I bought the queen-sized blanket and it fits the bed exactly (doesn’t hang over the edge at all). I’m 150 lbs and bought the 15 lb blanket – I find this weight works for me because I can still move around easily and it gives just the right amount of pressure. I started by using the blanket over my normal comforter, but I found that it was collecting cat hair like crazy so I’ve starting using it between my top sheet and comforter and I like this much better!
It is good because it has string that will hold your weighted blanket in place and a decent zipper.
It would be better due to the weight of most weighted blankets if it opened with an L shape zipper instead of just one zipper at bottom
…. This was my first impression about the product…..I bought this for my daughter and the weight was 13 lb and not 15 lb. I bought queen size while my daughter bed is double. The double cover I purchased before from amazon and was from different manufacture, was single size, too small. I returned it back and purchased Luna queen size. Still the size is perfect for double bed, but not meant for queen size as advertised. I believe 2 more pounds will make a difference as my daughter didn’t find it weigh enough even though it is within her weight as recommended by manufacture.
This blanket is great!! Being someone who suffers from anxiety, one thing I have found myself lacking over the past week or two during these uncertain times in the world is compression and human connections…. aka HUGS!! I just opened this and wrapped myself in it and it feels amazing. Not the same as a hug, but the weight and feeling of having something wrapped tightly around you is wonderful. I will definitely be using it daily in the weeks and months to come, and beyond. Definitely a great purchase!

I fell asleep within minutes and stayed asleep all night. My sleep tracker indicates that I had almost 3h of deep sleep, more than double the usual for me. I totally love this blanket. It was not too hot to use, very comfortable. Thank you!!
Love that this is Oeko-Tex certified. It’s very good quality & the weight is much more evenly distributed than I expected. I would definitely re-purchase. Really did calm me down, and also hepled me sleep on my back!
I absolutely love my new luna heavy blanket. It is very comfortable, it is also makes it much easier to make my bed as it does not move around. It reminds me of the olden days in Britain, during winter we had to put loads of blankets on to keep warm and there was a lovely heaviness which made me feel secure. Weight distribution is a the poorest of features. The bottom of the blanket (where the tag is) is clearly missing some weight and the top half is very heavy. By far the best blanket as it isn’t too hot and is made with a quality material.
I loved the quality of the fabric and its breathability. The weight is very evenly distributed. It feels like an awesome hug when you are sleeping and greatly improved the quality of my sleep. One thing I would mention, if you have a queen size bed and want the blanket to hang over the edges of the bed you should order a King size.

If you’re considering purchasing a weighted blanket I think you should try. I believe this brand comes with a money back guarantee but I love it. I didn’t know if it would be too hot or too heavy, but it’s neither. I’m not sure if I’ll feel that way in the summer, it may feel too hot then but I’m not sure. It has weight but not heat. You can feel the glass beads which is neat. I bought the grey and white stripe and I think it’s nicely colored. I put it over my comforter and under my top quilt. I think I would have gone with the 10 pound, I think the one I purchased is a bit too Heavy. I have a California king bed and I bought the 40×60. It fits sideways almost exactly but when I’m sleeping alone I like to just wrap myself up in it completely. My husband hates it, so you may want to consider getting a single size that only fits your half of the bed. It’s heavy enough that it wont slide off at night.
I’m impressed by the quality of the blanket, really well made. The beads don’t move around like they did in our other weighted blanket (from another company). The blanket is soft and comfy, and feels like it’s weighted right. I can’t wait to go to sleep now! I have trouble falling asleep, but this blanket makes me feel relaxed, so sleep comes easier.
One reason I purchased this blanket was from all the positive reviews. I am happy to report that I am sleeping much better. I would toss and turn all night in all positions. One night I woke up at 2am to use the bathroom and was shocked I was in the same position I was in when i went to bed at 8pm (I work early) So for 6 hours i just slept. I have tried everything to sleep better…prescription pills (made me groggy) over the counter sleep aids (didn’t work) CBD oil (biggest waste of money) diffuser (cleared up my nostrils) sound machines (kept me awake) and lastly lavender spray (pillow smells good for about 2 minutes. Warm milk…yuck! How did my mom ever get me to drink THAT as a kid? Anyway…very happy with the purchase after having done a lot of research – too much probably.
Love my new Luna weighted blanket! Colour is soft muted grey. I will have to trial it for a bit to really know if it’s the correct weight. My children now want to try one for sleeping. Very pleased with quality

The corner ties are sturdy and holds onto a weighted blanket well and true to size. The seam of the zipper is covered by a flap so I’m not worried about accidentally smacking my face or someone’s face with it.
Just got it. So far the quality looks great. I had a 15lb blanket and it was too heavy; I only weight 110. The 10 lb feels cosy without feeling crushed. I haven’t slept with it yet. Really looking forward to it.

Just received this in the mail yesterday. The quality of the blanket feels great overall and I can tell already this is going to be a wonderful blanket. The only unfortunate thing is that, after one night, I have noticed a large seam is coming out that spans about two squares (or there are very long loose threads) and I’m not sure how it is going to affect the blanket. Good value for money as most are 200+ at retail stores. Besides the seam issue, I’m happy with the blanket otherwise.
I have thought about purchasing several times, but these blankets seemed so expensive and I wasn’t sure it would be worth it. I finally took a chance, and man I wish I would have done so sooner. I am 52 years old and a very restless sleeper. And, according to my husband I also snore. The first night I used the blanket, it felt sort of weird with the heaviness of it, but I actually slept through the night with hardly any tossing and turning. And, according to my husband, I did not snore as bad, as often, or as loud. So he had a better night of sleep, too.
I bought the sheet duvet cover to make it easier to keep clean. So I cannot speak to the softness of the actual blanket since I don’t actually feel it.
I do get hot sometimes, but then, that is not anything abnormal for me (plagued by hot flashes and sometimes night sweats).
I also suffer from chronic pain in my arm, which makes it hard to get comfortable enough to sleep. Again, since getting the blanket, I have slept better than I have for a very long time.
Unfortunately, just a few days after we got it. My dog decided he wanted a piece of it-literally. He chewed so much that he had broken into the blanket and tiny glass beads were ALL OVER my bed. Nothing a vacuum cleaner couldn’t handle, but the blanket didn’t look salvageable. I messaged the company to see if they had any ideas to save the blanket, and you know what they did?! They SENT ME A NEW BLANKET—NO CHARGE

My wife suggested we pick up this product because she likes weight on her when she sleeps, however, that often means too many blankets, which causes me to overheat while sleeping. Finding a solution that works for both of us has been a problem for a long time. Fortunately, I am happy to say that the LUNA Weighted Blanket works surprisingly well to both provide weight for my wife and a comfortable rest for me as well. I like the weight without the heat. The insulating properties of the glass filling, have changed my perception of how a weighted blanket can create a more peaceful and restful sleep, while ensuring that I don’t struggle with overheating. An additional benefit that I did not consider is that the evenly distributed weighting acts as a “thrash” minimizer for the sheets. The LUNA blanket helps to keep the bedding in a more orderly state, creating a more even and comfortable experience while beginning the sleep cycle and when waking, but reducing the messiness of the bedding. I will start off by saying I buy from Amazon all of the time, but am not good about getting on and doing reviews. I felt I should this time since I am in a profession where weighted items are really important for my clients. Anyway, my daughter had been complaining about not sleeping well, waking up in the night over the past half year or so. She thought she wanted a weighted blanket. I searched and went by reviews and found this one and got it for her birthday. She has been sleeping better overall, does not complain about the heat of the blanket and even wakes up with the blanket still on her bed. She really does loves it. The main problem around here now is trying to keep others away from her blanket, her sister ends up in her room napping or watching TV under it. Her father has been found in there napping with it occasionally as well. I haven’t tried it because I am afraid I will think I need one also! We haven’t had it long enough to comment on longevity but did buy the duvet for it so the blanket itself would require minimal cleaning care.
Before buying the Luna I did a little bit of research. Going to the various sleep sites like sleepsherpa and sleepopolis to see what they said. Seems to be a lot of hype about these. Some say don’t use for sleeping only for 1-2 hours, etc. Advice is to get one 10% your body weight. My criteria was to get something that would fit our bed (Queen) and something not too expensive $150 or less ideally. Luna had a great price, with organic cotton and glass beads. It also came in the 15lb weight size for a queen I was looking for (many were going up to 20lbs for queen size). This lays right on top of our queen bed. It does NOT hang over, it is exact size. The weighted blanket kind of feels like those lead vest you wear at the dentist for XRays. We’ve only had it for a few days and have liked it: soft, not too heavy, not cold or hot (that is why we like the cotton–very breathable. Time will tell if we keep using it but so far I’m happy with the purchase. We got it in WHITE with no cover yet. Beads shift a little but are quite. I’m giving it 5 stars for its quality and what it offers for the price. Look around, you probably won’t find a better deal. I have no complaints.
The blanket is a perfect size for our queen size mattress. The dimensions fit perfectly with no overhang. I thought at first we would have issue not having enough blanket for two people but we both fit nicely under it with the blanket on top of our regular comforter. It’s not too heavy for either of us but it does take a little to get used to. It conforms to your body and makes it almost hard to turn over, but the effect is comforting not constrictive. There is no sound or shifting of the fill. The seams are durable and the quality and craftsmanship seems high. There is also no smell and the fabric is soft without washing right out of the package. There were no tears or stains as well. It adds a bit of extra warmth to our comforter when used in conjunction but seems to breathe really well regardless and hasn’t been too hot it’s just been a comforting warmth. I’m really happy with the quality and the soft gray color is beautiful as well. I love as well that the company offers a money back guarantee. I’m not sure my sleep quality has greatly improved just because of our Luna blanket but my sleep has been deeper so far.
I’m a horrible sleeper…..or shall I say, I used to be a horrible sleeper. This blank has helped me immensely with my sleep difficulties. It used to take me a very long time for me to fall asleep, once I fell asleep I would wake up at all hours of the night, then in the morning I’d wake up super early. This blanket has helped me get the best sleep of my life. It is so comfortable. It makes me feel like I am cuddled by my bedding with pressure from the weight of the blanket on all sides…..makes me feel like a baby in the womb.
I fall asleep fast and usually don’t wake up for my first time until 4 or 5 in the morning, instead of every 45 minutes like before. Even when I wake up at 4 or 5 in the morning, this blanket helps me fall back to sleep very fast so I can get another 2-3 hours of sleep. Craftsmanship seems good, and contrary to other reviews I have read about glass beads in weighted blankets, there is NO loud noise from the glass beads rubbing against each other. My girlfriend loves the blanket too. We plan to buy more weighted blankets as gifts to family members. After decades of using meditation and medication (sleeping pills) to help me sleep better, I finally have a solution to my insomnia that actually works.

I’m ~110lbs, and I got the 15lb Luna blanket because I couldn’t find the 12lb option with 100% organic cotton. I thought it was a good price for the size considering other brands that were organic were more expensive for the size that I wanted. I’ve been suffering from sleep problems and anxiety for about 1.5 years now and completely changed my lifestyle including diet, exercise, and adjusting my sleep habits. I thought weighted blanket could be yet another thing that can help.
The blanket arrived yesterday, so I had a chance to sleep with it for one night. Even though the recommended blanket weight for my body is 12lbs, the 15lbs didn’t feel that heavy. If anything it felt just right. I don’t think you would feel the full 15 lb anyway since the blanket drapes over my body, and the weight is distributed to the bed instead.
My mind was pacing a lot since I was thinking about something stressful/work-related, so normally I would not have been able to sleep very well. With this blanket, I was able to probably sleep about 40-50% more, which I was pretty happy with. I am hoping to get more data after a few more nights/weeks with my Luna blanket, but so far so good!

UPDATE from my daughter: This is an amazing product and does calm me down and helps me not move at night, but I will say the installing of the blanket into the duvet cover is a little tough. Nothing bad though. I am a very light sleeper so I wasn’t expecting a miracle ( I will wake up with the sound of a pin dropping, not joking) so I toss and turn a lot, but this does help a lot with it. If you’re annoyed with the dimensions, it is made purposefully like that so the weight doesn’t hang off the bed. I would honestly say it is a great size but it could use 1-2 inches extra on each side though 🙂 If your debating on buying it, I would say get it. You won’t know if you don’t try. Everyone’s sleep is different. One of the things I do notice and that THE BLANKET MAKES NO SOUND like others do. If you’re comparing a few based on prices or specs, choose this one. You don’t want your blanket to have sound whenever you move it. This one is silent.
I’ve been wanting to try a weighted blanket for a long time, but I sleep hot, so worried it wouldn’t be useful for me. I finally decided on this Luna blanket because of the promises of sleeping cool, and figured if it was too hot, at least I could use it as a throw and get the benefit sometimes. Now that I’ve tried it, I don’t think you could use this 20 lb blanket as a throw. It’s really heavy! (In fact, maybe a little too heavy for me. I may transition to the 15 lb at some point.) However, after sleeping with it this last week, I’ve been pleasantly surprised that, while it is warm, it’s not uncomfortably so. More important, I feel as though I’m getting better quality sleep. I used to wake up frequently during the night, about once every hour starting around 3:00. I can usually roll over and go back to sleep, but it is disruptive. The last week, I’ve been going to sleep as usual, and sleeping through until around 6:00. I really hadn’t expected such a dramatic improvement! I can’t comment yet on its longevity, and will definitely have to order the duvet cover for it, because I can’t imaging keeping it clean otherwise, but it’s a keeper. I’m very, very pleased.
Now that I am used to it I really like this blanket. I have always liked extra weight over me when I sleep and would pile up blankets on top of me. I debated on which weight to order. I weigh 130lbs so I ordered the 15lb one. I was surprised at how heavy this blanket felt the first few nights. I have a king sized bed but my husband isn’t a fan of extra weight so I laid it over top our quilted bedspread and sheet on my side. I was concerned it would be too hot but actually it was not hot at all, adding about as much warmth as an afghan would. I can see it being easily used year round. I have found it is better to have it already pulled up towards your head as far as you want it before getting under it. It isn’t easy for me to slide the whole thing around once you are under it. Not impossible, but easier to do before it is on top of you. ( I have not tried to clean it yet so I didn’t rate that). The outer fabric is soft and comfortable against my face if I snuggle further down under it. It took me a few nights to get used to the weight but now I wonder how I ever lived without it. I fear I’m going to miss it when I travel.
Just got this, still going to leave a more in depth review after awhile, but initial thoughts are: it is what it says it was. An organic cotton, 15 lb blanket, (a part of me kind of wants to cut a pocket open to see if the beads are really glass lol but let’s see if I do), but more than anyway, I hope it doesn’t okay in the wash. It says hand wash only, but I emailed in to the company, & they said this is just to err on the safe side, some people’s washing machines may be able to handle it. Also, it should be hang dried, not tumble dried.
They recommended a cover so you could just take that off & wash it.
All in all, seems like a solid build. The color was slightly off from what it showed online, it’s not a light grey, it is darker,
but either way, I am looking to see if the whole “weighted blanket” thing is for me.

We purchased the 15 lbs, 48″ x 72″ weighted blanket. This size is really best for
only one person. In retrospect, getting the larger size would have allowed for more flexibility for a queen-sized bed and 2 people to use (although it may be sideways to do so). We’ve found it’s also better to not have the weighted blanket fully covering your feet.
I weigh 195 lbs at 5’10″(male) and my spouse weighs 110 lbs at 5’3″ (female). After more than a month of use, the 15 lb version is a good overall choice for both of us. And it definitely helps you sleep better. Looking forward to getting a second blanket in the future.
As for sizing, it is exactly 60×80 when stretched out flat. This ends up just covering the top of a queen size bed, but it’s still enough to keep me from throwing it off myself in the middle of the night. I opted to go for the 20lb blanket, since I weigh 170lbs and have a mattress that is firm, but forgiving.
I do sleep hot, and this blanket hasn’t changed that. I’d say it’s warmer than my old lightweight fleece blanket, but it’s cooler than my down alternative comforter.
I was worried that the beads rolling around might be too loud, since I’m generally a light sleeper. The blanket is pretty quiet though. It’s not nearly as loud as tossing around in a bean bag, which is what I imagined it might be like.
The filling DOES flow to the down-side of the pockets, naturally, and you get a bit of a lump where this happens, but it’s small enough not to bother me, and doesn’t detract from my overall sensation of being nicely weighted-down all over. I think it might be a distraction for some.
A couple of points: my blanket arrived on the hottest day of the year so far, so I haven’t yet tested it in a cold bedroom, but in warmer-than-I-like sleeping conditions it’s been AMAZINGLY comfortable. It’s the most counter-intuitive thing that something so heavy and drapey could be so cool to sleep under.
I bought the 20-lb 60″ x 80″ model, which covers the surface of my queen bed. I put it into a regular queen-size cotton duvet cover (using the sushi-roll method–there’s no way I could muscle this blanket in there otherwise! If you don’t know about it, a quick internet search will point the way), and the cover drapes down over the sides and foot of the bed. The blanket itself stays remarkably stable inside the cover and centered on the bed. It doesn’t slip-slide around at ALL.
If I discover quality problems down the line, I’ll update this review, but so far in a couple of weeks of nightly use, I’m super pleased with my purchase.
