The DJR185Z has a variable speed of 0 to up to 3,000 spm combined with a 13mm stroke length for faster and more efficient cutting. Dual position on/off switch – two switch levers with variable speed control. Trigger switch on the tool handle and paddle switch on the tool body to make operation easier at any grip position for versatile applications by using either of the triggers.
Shoe is adjustable by loosening / fastening a screw. Blade clamp is compatible with both recipro blades and jig saw blades. Built in LED job light and electric brake.

Fr kleine Gartenarbeiten – Sgen dnnerer ste – geeignet. Man muss aufpassen, das das zu sgende Holz ziemlich hinten an der Sge sitzt. Aber keine Wunderdinge erwarten.
Lo mejor que puedo usar la misma batera del atornillador y potencia gradual.lo que menos el acople de la cuchilla que es de tornillo.
La estoy usando para instalacines de depuracin tubera de PVC , fibra de vidrio y con el hierro se porta muy bien.
Se la compre a mi padre para podar en la huerta y est muy contento con ella, con una batera de 5ah tiene buena autonoma y corta de maravilla, habr que ver cunto dura pero makita siempre es sinnimo de calidad. Totalmente recomendable
After a few uses of this tool i have found it to be ok, suitable for light to medium work.
Being light weight and small it is perfect for tight spaces which would cause you problems with a manual saw such as under counter tops or inside cars.
DO NOT buy cheap saw attachments for this tool as it will struggle. Using cheap or wrong attachments will cause it to vibrate badly and even stop. It only has a small motor so good quality attachments should be a must to get best performance.
Comes with a metal saw and wood saw attachment so you can start right away.
Only bad thing is the trigger safety button on the pistol grip, must be held in order to pull trigger.
Da portare in cantiere per tagli al volo su materiali vari . Meno pericoloso della circolare . E poi non avevo nessun sistema di taglio a batteria . Non per tagli ben rifiniti .

Great for pipes especially plastic, Smaller timber. Use shorter blades, they seem to be better. Great light tool. Value for money is low as for the same money you can buy a big reciprocal saw, not sure why I bought this one now instead of a bigger one. Its handy and small.
It’s Makita and good……saves ages vs a hacksaw and slices through metal, wood and plastic like a dream!
My video shows the tool cutting a 25mm x 50mm piece of wood using the supplied wood-cutting blade. You can see it’s not fast or notably powerful, which also means it’s not noisy or hard to control; I had my phone in one hand and the tool in the other, and you just don’t do that with a more powerful tool unless keen on a hospital visit.
I’m pleased enough with this tool, it does what I wanted it for and I recommend it. And please, always always secure the workpiece, that is so important.
Me parece muy ligera y muy ergonmica el pulsador en el lateral para m es un acierto. El problema es que tarda mucho en cortar y est bastante limitada apeaar de ser una herramienta de 18v. De este modelo quiero destacar que se le pueden poner sierra de calar tambin dado a que eres t el que ajusta el tornillo y dicha cuchilla encaja. Ese fue otro detalle que me ha gustado ya que puedes usarla como una caladora no est diseada para eso pero te hace el apao al menos en mi caso lo ha hecho. Si tienes claro para que la necesitas y tienes en cuenta sus limitaciones puede llegar a ser til por su peso reducidoy manejo con una sola mano.

fixation de la lame par visse CHC 6 pans un peu dommage mais on fera avec pas super gnant non plus .
pour la qualit c’est du makita rien dire habituellement .

Ich habe die Sge vermehrt zum Baum und Strauchschnitt eingesetzt und einen ganzen Kirschbaum damit zerlegt ….
Ja es gibt dafr auch anderes Werkzeug aber ich wollte wissen was damit mglich ist – und siehe da der Baum ist klein.
Tpisch Makita – Mann wird nicht enttuscht !

Ligera, muy manejable, val epara todo si le pones la hoja adecuada. La uso incluso para podar, obviamente mucho ms lenta que una motosierra, pero ms ligera, no se estropea, no lleva gasolina. Corta hasta ramas de 10 cm de dimetro. Muy verstil. La batera de 3 Ah dura como media hora sin parar de podar.
Really good, very handy to get into places the bigger rip saw can’t, I’ve used this a good few times now and am really happy with it. I use this one more than my bigger Makita rip saw.

i 18v della pila non sono molti, ma una pila pi potente renderebbe il seghetto pi pesante e dunque pi difficile da usare per chi ha poca forza nel braccio. Dunque per questa potenza di 18v il seghetto fa il suo lavoro egregiamente.

Articolo presente come in fotografia materiali in plastica di buona qualit e buona manifattura manegievole quando lo si tiene in mano forse un po’ pesante per quelle dimensioni l’unica nota negativa che bisogna comprare a parte tutti gli altri componenti che in altre marche sono gia in dotazione consigliato per rapporto qualit prezzo

Attrezzo valido e maneggevole, l’unico inconveniente che venduto senza batteria (logicamente specificato), siccome uso gi utensili Makita a batteria non ho avuto problemi,se no sarebbe costato molto di pi, comprando anche il caricabatterie a parte pi batteria.

Pratico e leggero. Indispensabile in giardino per la piccola/ media potatura. Silenzioso. Come tutti i prodotti makita difficile trovare un difetto. Anche se ormai vengono prodotti in cina, la qualit la stessa di sempre.
Rapporto qualit prezzo ottimo, fa il suo lavoro e ovviamente deve lavorare su superfici perfettamente bloccate, Makita sempre il meglio

Essendo Makita si va sul sicuro: leggero, ergonomico… funziona bene come ci si aspetta.
Ovviamente il modello base della serie, quindi va bene per tagli “semplici”.

Super handliche Sge fr kleine schnelle Schnitte. Ist die Sge lnger im dauerbetrieb( 4-5 min) , wird Sie etwas hei und riecht etwas. Hoffe das Gert bersteht den nhsten Umzug. Sgebltter von Makita kaum zu gebrauchen! Bosch ist da viel besser! Trotzdem 5 Sterne da sehr leicht und handlich.
Ich habe damit die alten Bretter und Balken eines renovierten Dachstuhls in kurzer Zeit zerlegt.
Mit den beiden beigefgten Original Makita Sgeblttern wre mir das allerdings nie gelungen. Leider taugen diese gar nicht und fhren zu dem Abzug eines Sterns.
Mit den zustzlich gekauften Bosch Keo Sgeblttern hingegen hat es gut geklappt;
damit macht sie Spa und ist sehr effektiv, diese leichte und sehr handliche Elektro-Sge DJR 185 Z 18 V.
Durch schlechtes Zubehr verschlechtert Makita die Leistung dieser Sge enorm – das nenne ich “am falschen Ende sparen”.

Trotz Akku ist das Gert sehr leistungsfhig. Mit dem original Holzsgeblatt habe ich einen im Holz verborgenen Nagel durchgesgt, kein Problem, keine Beschdigung.
Praktisch ist, da ich den Akku fr meine anderen Makita-Gerte verwenden kann.

It’s small, light and super easy to operate and for the small things i’m gonna use it for it’s spot on, it’s so small and handy even my wife can use it with ease.
For this prize and quality you can’t go wrong.
This has to be my most used power tool on site. (joiner) Handy for reaching in nipping off awkward to reach stuff inside cavities, cutting drywall, cutting through nails/screws, pipes… the list is endless. It sits with a battery on all the time and I have a couple of different blades in my nail bag. Blade change is fine; you need an Allen-key but I think it’s better than the quick change version as you can use it as a jig-saw with the appropriate blades (love this feature) for cutting flooring etc.
Only downside is, it could do with a bit more stroke and a slightly stronger motor but if you use it within it’s limits and don’t expect it to do what it’s not designed to it is an excellent tool.
